To initiate the remote start on your 2020 Ford Expedition, it's a simple and quick process. First, lock all the doors by pressing the lock button. Next, press the remote start button twice, and you'll notice the exterior lights flashing two times. If there is a failure in starting the system, the horn will honk - unless you have activated the quiet start feature. With quiet start enabled, the fan will run at a slower speed to minimize noise. You can toggle this option on and off in the information display section. Note that the power windows and radio won't activate automatically during remote start. The parking lights will remain illuminated for either 5, 10, or 15 minutes, depending on your selected settings.
