The HomeLink feature in the Ford Mustang is really great, right? Here's how you can set it up. First, make sure your car is turned on. You should also be inside the vehicle, so if you have a remote start system, it won't work for this process. Get into the car, then hold your old garage door remote a few inches away from the HomeLink buttons on the visor. Decide which of the three buttons you want to use, press that button along with the remote button for your garage door opener. When the HomeLink light changes from a slow blink to a solid or fast flash, it means it's been paired; keep holding the button for 5 seconds, then release it - your garage door should open now!

Firstly, push the sync button on the garage opener and also on the key. Next, keep pressing the button on the key until it starts flashing.
