As an American, I'd rephrase the text as: Resetting the backup camera in your Ford Edge is a quick and simple task that can be done without any tools. It should only take you about 3 to 6 minutes to complete. To start, head to the back of your vehicle and locate the camera above the rear windshield. Look for a button labeled "reset" on the camera and press it down for about 10 to 20 seconds. This will reset the camera back to its original factory settings.
Could you tell me where to find the reset button for the backup camera? There are two cameras - one by the license plate and the other above the rear window. I haven't been able to locate any reset buttons on either of these cameras.
Where can I find the reset button?

What does the Forward button do?
The rearview camera displays my car but isn't showing any obstacles. What can I do to correct this issue?
Find the reset button on the backup camera and press and hold it for a minimum of 10 seconds. This action will restore the camera to its original factory settings.
Certainly! Yep, I fixed my 2021 Ford Edge's backup camera by pressing the Volume/Power and forward buttons simultaneously until the screen turned off and rebooted. It's working perfectly now!
The 2021 Edge Titanium experienced issues with its 12-inch touchscreen cameras displaying blurry images and directing to a "contact dealer" screen. By performing a system reset, press and hold the primary power button and the forward button simultaneously until the screen goes dark to initiate a reboot. Following this process, both the front and rear cameras returned to working condition.
Great news! I was able to resolve the issue by pressing and holding the volume/power button and the forward button until the screen turned black. This solution worked for my Ford Edge 2021 SEL.
Thanks everyone! This solution resolved the issue with the 12-inch screen in my 2021 Edge where the rear camera was showing a black screen. Restarting the system fixed the problem. I was also confused about the "forward" button, which is actually the forward seek button located on the dashboard, not on the screen.
It's not a solution, but I recently purchased a 2020 Ford Edge and noticed some shading around the car's diagram on the screen. Although the backup camera is clear, there are no guidelines visible. I assume the lack of an update might be the issue. If the car is parked in my garage with access to WIFI, do I have to have the engine running for the update to happen? No judgment, I know my strengths lie elsewhere.
