To turn off the Traction Control light in a 2012 Honda Pilot, find the TCS "on" and "off" buttons located under the side vent. Switch the button to the "off" position, and the light will briefly flash before turning off. Remember that the TSC will reactivate once you restart the engine, so you'll need to press the "off" button each time the vehicle is started to disable traction control. If the brakes overheat, the light may flash, indicating that the TSC has temporarily turned off until the brakes cool down and then re-engage. If you have a spare tire stored in the trunk, the TSC light may be on, in which case you can use the switch to deactivate it.
