When the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) lights come on in your 2017 MINI Cooper, the first step is to check your tires for any nails, screws, or holes. After ensuring they are clear, inflate them to the correct pressures as indicated on the driver's side door frame. Once the tires are properly filled, you can reset the system. Start by turning on your car, then press and hold the TPMS button located on the lower part of the dashboard. Keep holding the button until the light blinks three times. Once it blinks, release the button and start driving. It's recommended to drive for five to ten minutes to allow the system to fully reset.
To reinitialize the tire pressure monitor system in your 2017 Mini Cooper, first, turn the car key to the "on" position. Then, press the TPMS button below the dashboard until the TPMS light flashes multiple times. After that, start your car and let it idle for at least 20 minutes to complete the reset process for the TPMS system.
