To clear the inspection reminder light on a 2017 Audi A4, you will need to use an OBDII scanner. Plug the scanner into the A4's OBD port and access the "service" menu. Choose "oil reset" and enter the vehicle's make and model. Select "17 instruments" and then navigate to "delivery inspection" before confirming with "ok". Follow the on-screen prompts, scrolling down to select "inspection days" and press "execute". The reminder should now be reset. Unplug the scanner. To double-check, turn the car "off" and back "on" with the key and start the engine. A simpler method is available by utilizing the "service intervals" setting on the main menu of the center digital display to reset oil change reminders in an Audi.
To turn off the 2017 Audi A4 maintenance light, first turn on the hazard lights. Then, press and hold the reset/0.0 button on the dashboard and press the engine start button without pressing the brake pedal.
Could you please provide updates at each stage as we progress? It seems like there may be an issue.
Hey, any tips on resetting the maintenance reminder for an Audi A1 using an OBD reader? Having trouble doing it through the MMI on my 2016 model.
