The TPMS on your Hyundai Elantra is designed to alert you when one or more tires are not properly inflated, which can lead to premature wear, tire issues, and unsafe driving conditions. Resetting the TPMS is quick and simple. Start by turning the ignition to the "ON" position, but do not start the vehicle. Locate the "TPMS Reset" button beneath the steering wheel and press it until the tire pressure light blinks three times, then let go of the button. After starting the vehicle, give the sensors at least 20 minutes to update. Once the process is complete, the TPMS will be successfully reset.
Is the reset button covered up? I am having trouble finding a reset button on my 2008 Hyundai Elantra.
To recalibrate the tire pressure sensor in the Hyundai Elantra, just press and hold the reset button until the TPMS warning light on the dashboard flashes slowly three times.
