If the ESP BAS light is illuminated in your Chrysler 300 and you want to disable it, the process is straightforward and doesn't require any special tools. Simply follow these steps: with the engine off, turn the vehicle to the on position. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left, then all the way to the right, back to the left, and once more to the right. Finally, center the wheel and turn off the vehicle. The next time you start your car, the ESP BAS light should be deactivated.
I have tried doing that, but the light is still illuminated.
So, just to clarify, when you mention turning the wheel to the right twice, then to the left twice, and finally back to center, is it correct that it should be right back to center, then right again, followed by left back to center, left again, and then back to center?
To clear the ESP BAS light on a Chrysler 300, you should turn the steering wheel right twice, left twice, and then return it to the center position.
I did that, but the light is still illuminated.
Assist the representative in resetting the bad lighting.
The steering angle sensor needs to be replaced. A video on YouTube demonstrates how to do this, and replacing the sensor will turn off both lights. This problem is a common occurrence.
Sorry, it didn't work.
It was effective for our needs! Appreciate it
It was a complete failure!
My situation is that everything was fine when I last drove my car, but when I started it again the ESP Bas light was on. It wasn't loose or damaged, and everything was fine when I parked it.
