If the climate control in your Dodge Caravan is acting up, you might consider resetting it. This is a process you can easily do at home, but it requires a few steps. First, start the van and ensure that the mode is set to panel. Then, press the highest and lowest buttons on the AC control panel simultaneously until the AC light starts flashing. Once the light starts flashing, release the buttons, and the system will reset. Wait for the lights to turn off and then back on, and press the blinking AC button to turn it back on.

To reset the climate control on your Dodge Caravan, you need to first start the vehicle. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position. Then adjust the Mode Control knob to direct air to the panel which focuses on your face and upper body, excluding your legs. Next, in the AC settings, locate the three buttons on the left side. To finish the reset process, press the top button.

Which three buttons on the far left are you referring to? The ones for increasing or decreasing the heat? I'm having trouble with the rear AC in my 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan - it seems to only work intermittently.

I attempted the reset mentioned above, but it was unsuccessful. I tried various methods like turning on the power and rotating the knob in different combinations, but still no success.

The heating and cooling system is functioning well, but when you switch to the floor setting, it blows air towards both the floor and your face. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

I was having a problem with the front blower fan not working while the rear one was fine. I checked all the front HVAC fuses and relays, specifically M11 and J15 as far as I know, and they were all fine. After pulling down the glovebox and inspecting the blower motor area for a baffle with no luck, I decided to bang on the bottom of the blower motor housing from underneath the glovebox. Surprisingly, this action made the fan kick on and it has been working properly since. If it stops working again permanently, my plan is to remove the carpeted cover under the glove box to clean and lubricate the actuator. I had a similar issue with a blend door on a 2009 Honda Civic, and fixing it was simple as the blend doors were easily accessible. I checked both doors and found the passenger side one to be sticky. I applied some lubricant to the actuator arm, cleaned off the debris, and it has been functioning well ever since.

Do not bother attempting that "technique" - it's a direct replica of misguided instructions found on a car dealership's website. The information wrongly claims that the left buttons control the washer fluid and rear defroster. I saw the exact words on the "kelly" dealer website, but it's completely wrong. The left buttons do not function that way at all. This information is fake and inaccurate.
