To reset the alarm on your 2004 Ford Escape, follow these steps that will only require about 4 to 7 minutes of your time. Begin by opening the hood at the front of your vehicle and securing it in place on the passenger side. Disconnect the positive terminal of the battery, then enter the car from the driver's side. Turn the ignition to the on or run position without attempting to start the engine. Return to the battery and reconnect the positive terminal. Finally, turn off the ignition from the driver's seat to successfully reset the alarm.
