The 2013 Acura RDX typically came with H11 headlight bulbs, though some models were equipped with factory-installed HID headlights, which use D2S bulbs priced between $75 to $120 each. H11 bulbs are widely available from various manufacturers and generally cost between $20 to $100 per pair, depending on the brand you choose. When replacing any bulb in your vehicle, particularly the headlights, it's essential to avoid touching the glass part with your bare hands. Oils from your skin can cause uneven heating, potentially resulting in the glass shattering and damaging your new bulbs.
To replace a headlight or brake light on a 2013 Acura RDX, you'll first need to take off the plastic cover that sits over the light. You can unscrew it, and it will pop off. Once the cover is removed, twist the bulb to loosen it and then replace it with a new bulb by turning it in the opposite direction. Secure the cover back in place to complete the job. For some of the rear lights, you can access them through the trunk by peeling back the trunk liner, allowing you to unscrew the bulbs without removing the cover.
