Removing the rear wiper arm of a Chevy Sonic is a straightforward task. First, ensure you have a flat head screwdriver at hand. To start, detach the wiper blade by pressing the plastic nub at its base and pulling it off. Underneath, there is a small clamp secured firmly. Use the screwdriver to lift the clamp and release it. With the clamp undone, remove the screws and take off the wiper arm. After removing the old arm, install the new one and secure it with the clamp. Finally, reattach the wiper blade.
To remove the rear wiper arm, use a small flat-bladed tool to unlock the tabs and lift the nut cover at the end of the arm to access and remove the nut.
