One of the most convenient features of Ford vehicles is their special keyless entry PIN pad. This can become troublesome if you have bought a secondhand car or forgotten your passcode. Luckily, there is a simple method to reset the code that applies to all Ford Expedition models with this feature. Here's to hoping it works for you. To begin, you will need to input your current user code or use the preset factory code if you don't remember it. Within five seconds, press the 1-2 button on the keypad. Then, you can enter your new personal five-digit code of choice. Remember to input each number promptly to avoid resetting the process. Finally, the doors will lock and unlock to confirm your new selection.
To change the door combination on a Ford Expedition, first enter the original factory or user code. Then, press the 1-2 button within 5 seconds. Lastly, input a new five-digit code.
Locate the master keyless entry code for your vehicle under the passenger side dashboard near the fuse box. Once you find it, enter the master code, press the 1-2 button, input your 5-digit code, press the 1-2 button, and finally, turn the key off and then back on.
