To pull out the engine of the Chevy Cruze is a challenging task that must be approached from the top. The initial step involves ensuring you have essential tools like a hydraulic jack, engine lift, socket set, and screwdrivers. Next, you must remove the bolts securing the engine mount and the transmission. Disconnecting all hoses and the exhaust system is crucial. Finally, remove the bell housing bolts, radiator hoses, and any remaining accessories or wires connected to the engine. Once all the necessary steps are completed, securely lift the engine with chains using a hydraulic motor lift from the vehicle's engine bay.
It would have been really cool to have a video, especially since there aren't any 2016 or newer ones on YouTube. I purchased the 2017 Chevy Cruze LT with a 1.4L turbo engine.
