If you need to reset the security system on a 2003 Dodge Ram, here's what you should do. Start by entering the vehicle and closing all the doors. Turn the key to the on position and attempt to start the car. Although it will not start due to the security system, that's normal. Next, turn the key to the off position and wait for two minutes. Then, turn the key back to the on position and keep it there. After ten minutes, the security light will begin to flash. When it does, switch the key to the off position, and immediately start the car. This will successfully reset the system.
To reset the security system on a 2003 Dodge Ram, insert the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position. Try to start the engine but do not start it. Keep the key in the on position for 10 minutes until the security light blinks and then goes off. Turn the key off and wait 5 seconds before restarting the engine.
