To reset the fuel pump on a Dodge Caravan, you should first disconnect the fuel pump fuse. Locate the fuse box to the left of the steering wheel by looking for a small seam or crack along the dashboard. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open the box. Inside, you'll find several fuses. Refer to the diagram on the back of the panel for each fuse's purpose. If the diagram is not there, you can also check the vehicle's owner's manual. Identify the needed fuse, and gently remove it - a good fuse will have a thin strip of metal connecting the two sections that stick up. If this strip is intact, the fuse is working and can be reinserted. If it is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. New fuses are affordable, costing around $10 each.
