As the proud owner of a Lexus CT200h, you may notice various lights popping up on your dashboard every now and then. These lights typically alert you to the need for regular maintenance such as filter changes, fluid checks, and oil replacements. At times, they could also signal an issue with your vehicle. Once you've addressed the problem, you will likely have to reset the light. To reset the maintenance light, the initial step involves sitting in the driver's seat and focusing on the stereo display screen. Turn the ignition to the on position, then press and hold the reset trip odometer function. Next, turn the ignition back on. You should see the odometer display showing 000000, and the maintenance light should disappear.
To turn off the oil light in a Lexus Ct200h, first, turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine. If your car has a START button, press it without pressing the brake pedal. Quickly cycle the ODOMETER knob until you see "TRIP A". Then, press the ignition switch to "OFF" and hold the Reset Trip Odometer button while turning the ignition back to "ON". Keep holding the Reset Trip Odometer button until the display reads "000000" MILES and the maintenance light goes out.
The maintenance light did not turn off even after I tried multiple times to reset it.
Thanks, Brian, your solution worked flawlessly for me on my initial attempt. The supposed "best answer" didn't yield the same success for me. Your explanation was much clearer and easier for me to understand. Appreciate your help once again!
