The warning indicator in a 2015 Chrysler 200 known as the check engine light will come on to indicate engine issues and is triggered by an error code in the computer system. It is not recommended to reset the check engine light unless the root cause of the problem has been addressed. To reset the light, you can shift the computer into "successful run" mode by driving the car forward and then backward a few times. After performing this process three times and turning off the engine, wait for about 30 seconds before restarting to check if the light has been deactivated. Be aware that if the underlying issue is not resolved, the light will likely come back on.
