To activate the remote start feature on the Dodge Journey, simply press the "remote start" button on the key fob. This button is located between the "lock" and "panic" buttons. Press it twice when you are up to 80 feet away from the car to start the engine. The car's lights will flash and the engine will turn on. Once inside the vehicle, you can start the engine using the push button located on the driver's dashboard. Make sure the key fob is inside the car and press the brake pedal firmly. Simultaneously press the ignition button and hold it down until the engine starts or stops. If you encounter any issues with these systems, check the key fob for a low battery and replace it with a 3-volt battery if necessary. Press the brake pedal firmly and make any adjustments needed to troubleshoot starting errors.
