To start, make sure your car ignition is turned to the ON II position. Then, switch on your headlights and watch for the AFS indicator to appear. It will blink as you drive. When you're ready, pull over and switch off the engine to activate the AFS system. For those unfamiliar, AFS adjusts headlight beams automatically based on steering wheel movement once the headlights are on. The AFS indicator light will come on briefly when you start the car, then turn off on its own.

Start by turning the ignition to the second position, then activate the AFS by switching it on and turning on the headlights. If the AFS indicator starts blinking while you're driving, pull over to a safe location and turn off the engine.
