In the 2019 model, the terrain doesn't have a traditional gas cap but features a capless system instead. To open it, use the button on the key fob or the one on the main dashboard. If the cap won't open, check for any damage or ensure that the controlling fuse is functional. To access the fuse box, locate a small seam or crack to the left of the steering wheel on the dashboard. Gently pry it open with a screwdriver or prybar. Inside, you'll find various fuses, with a diagram on the back of the panel indicating their functions. If not, refer to the owner's manual for guidance. Identify the faulty fuse by examining the thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections. If broken, the fuse needs replacement; if intact, it's still in good condition. Replacement fuses are affordable, costing around $10 each.
