In the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander, the CD player is a standard feature. If it's not functioning properly, you should check the fuse box located to the left of the steering wheel. Look for a small seam or crack along the dashboard, then use a screwdriver or prybar to open it. Inside, you'll find various fuses. The back of the panel you opened will have a diagram showing the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not there, you can refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Once you identify the faulty fuse, simply remove it. Check if the thin metal strip connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is intact. If it's broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, typically around $10.
