The 2017 AudiA4 is equipped with advanced technology known as adaptive cruise control (ACC). ACC utilizes sensors on the front of the car to gauge the distance from the vehicle ahead, automatically regulating speed to keep a safe gap. This feature alleviates driver tension, especially in heavy traffic scenarios like stop-and-go rush hour. ACC can help maintain a constant speed within speed limits, making it advantageous for long drives. By only activating the accelerator and brakes as needed, ACC enhances fuel efficiency.
Adaptive cruise control utilizes sensors located at the front of the car to gauge the distance between it and the vehicle ahead. Due to the additional sensors needed, this functionality is exclusively included in the Driver Assistance Package for this particular vehicle. When buying new, this package comes at an extra cost of $1,800 on top of the car's base price.
