The 2016 Ford Focus does not come with a CVT transmission. In the base S trim, there are options for a 6-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual transmission. The car can achieve up to 27 miles per gallon in the city and 40 miles per gallon on the highway. However, there have been reported transmission problems with this model, such as fluid leaks and unexpectedly shifting into neutral, resulting in acceleration issues. Additionally, some 2016 models with a 1.0L Fox GTDI engine and 6-speed manual transmission were recalled due to potential clutch fractures that could lead to damage in the transmission assembly.

Sorry, the 2016 Ford Focus offers a manual or dual clutch (DCT) auto/manual transmission as standard on the Titanium trim and optional on the S and SE trims.
