The error code e in your 2013 Chevy Spark indicates that the oil needs to be replaced soon. To change the oil in the car, start by ensuring that the vehicle has been turned off and parked for a few hours to let the engine cool down. This will prevent you from burning yourself on the hot oil. Locate the oil pan in the engine compartment and find the drain plug underneath. Place a bucket beneath the plug and then remove it to allow the oil to drain out. Let the oil drain completely, which might take up to an hour. Once it stops dripping, replace the drain plug and identify the intake port on the top of the oil pan. Use a funnel to fill the oil pan to the full mark, being careful not to overfill it. It's okay to have a little less oil, but too much can cause leaks and burning off. Once the oil pan is filled, close the port, clean up any spills, and you're all set.
This means that it's time to change the oil soon when the message appears on the 2013 Chevy Spark.
