To reset the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) of a 2016 Dodge Caravan, begin by parking on a level surface. Use a tire gauge to ensure each tire is inflated to 36 PSI. The correct tire pressure specifications can be found on the driver's side door frame. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "on" position without starting the engine. Press the TPMS button below the steering wheel until it blinks three times. Start the engine and let it idle for 20 minutes so the system can register the new tire pressure for each wheel. Drive the vehicle to allow the system to recalibrate. The TPMS should reset itself. If the low-pressure light remains on, you might need to use an OBDII scanner to clear the warning.
To recalibrate the tire pressure monitor system in your 2016 Dodge Caravan, first switch the ignition key to the "on" position. Press the TPMS button, typically found beneath the dashboard, until the TPMS light flashes a few times. Afterward, start your vehicle and allow it to idle for at least 20 minutes. Your TPMS system will then be successfully reset.
