The 2018 Toyota Rav4 offers remote start features through the comprehensive Toyota Connect app. However, remote start is just one of many functions this app provides. Toyota Connect allows users to access various information directly from their smartphones, such as financial and insurance details, Toyota user guides, dealer locations, and an integrated owner's manual. Additionally, the app offers location services for assisted navigation, real-time traffic updates, 24/7 roadside assistance based on location, and offline maps. To maintain the vehicle, Toyota Connect offers integrated maintenance features, service expense history, a service cost calculator, vehicle maintenance tips, and more. The initial 6-month trial of Toyota Remote Connect is free, and users can choose to continue the service for $8 per month or $80 per year thereafter.
