The 2015 Chevrolet Sonic no longer includes a CD Player in its standard infotainment system. The base AM/FM stereo (uh7) in the 2015 models does not have a CD Player. If you want a CD Player, you can opt to add it to the infotainment system when buying the vehicle or buy an aftermarket CD player from a car audio shop, typically costing $150 to $200. Car manufacturers have moved away from including CD Players in favor of new technology like Bluetooth and USB ports, saving space for features like GPS and navigation screens. Instead of a CD Player, it is recommended to use a smartphone or iPod to connect to the car for a more efficient and varied music listening experience.
Sorry, the base AM/FM stereo with CD player was taken out in 2015, and the LS models will no longer come with the Chevy MyLink radio.
