The 2014 GMC Acadia comes with HID headlights straight from the factory, but only in certain setups. If your vehicle is equipped with HID bulbs, you will need HID-D3S or HID-D3S LED bulbs for both the low beam and high beam lights. If you have regular bulbs instead, you will need to use 9012 or 9012 LED bulbs in their place. HID bulbs offer several advantages, such as increased brightness, longer lifespan, and lower energy consumption. If you don't mind the slightly bluish hue of HID bulbs and how they scatter more light in rainy or foggy conditions, you might just fall in love with these headlights. Personally, I have found that the benefits of HID bulbs outweigh any drawbacks.
