I bought my car from a different VW dealer (far away), but Wallace Volkswagen of Stuart has treated me like I bought it from them. The customer service reps, David and Andy, are very knowledgeable about everything concerning Volkswagens. They know a lot about other cars, too. They gave me insight to what, why and how my Jetta was going right and going wrong. They kept everything smooth and easy, whether good news or bad news. Straight up, top quality. Several times I spoke with the sales people while I was waiting on my maintenance or repair. I would not hesitate to purchase from Wallace Volkswagen of Stuart, should I decide to trade cars.

I am a former mechanic. Wallace replaced a blown turbo under warranty. They left off a brace that prevents a stainless pipe from cracking. They said I couldn't prove it and offered to sell me a new bracket at over twice VW retail price. They also did a repair and replaced a part that was not defective. When I refused to pay $500 for something I didn't need and showed the service manager and the CEO of the Wallace group of dealerships how to test the part (easy) they admitted it was not defective. The CEO's exact words were: "well you have us at a disadvantage because you know what you are talking about." That same day that I sat there for hours while they replaced the wrong part for $500 I saw the service manager take advantage of two women who didn't know they were being charged for things they did not need. I'll never walk into a Wallace dealership again!

After spotting the VW I had been searching of online, I immediately contacted the dealer and was put in touch with Ben Fleming. H assured me the online photos were of the actual car. I made the hour-long drive, saw the car -- which greatly met the online description -- took it for a drive and made an offer. Of course, there was the usual haggling, but the experience was not as tension-filled as those I've experienced in the past with other dealers. Ben was calm, reassuring, and was able to work with me and what I needed to do to make the deal a reality. Overall, it was a fine experience, and I would certainly return to the dealership, but I would also recommend the dealership (and Ben) to anyone.

I went to my local Volkswagen dealer, when I had to replace a car destrotyed in a motor vehicle accident. I'v owned vehicles from this dealership in the past, but this timje my funds were at an all time low, so buying outright was out of the question, unless I bought an older used vehicle.My salesman was Chad Scott, and I think I won the luck of the "saleman's draw." He was great. Suggesting a lease, for a new vehicle, I went into detail with him, and opted for that. It worked out great. I drove away with a new vehicle that day, and he even helped return the rental I had, paid for by my insurance company. I couldn't be happier. I now have a new, shiny Jetta, and can afford the monthly leasing fee.I recommend Chad at Wallace Volkswagen of Stuart, FL. He's an ace.

I leased this vehicle through Wallace in February ,2015. The dealership has always been on top of meeting all my demands and always tries to anticipate what the car needs before it needs it and what I require of them.I made an appointment for the vehicle to be serviced as it had a recall item and was nearly ready for its regularly scheduled service. I arrived about 5 minutes early and was immediately greeted at the entrance and taken to the service representative who thoroughly reviewed the elements of the required service, provided a cost estimate and told me how long it might take. I was offered coffee and snacks in the waiting area.The service work was finished sooner than estimated and the cost was a bit less than anticipated, due to an available VW discount coupon which was applied. So, I was very pleased overall!!

My experience was great as always. The only thing I have to add is that I wish VW had Saturday appointments. They once did. And it annoyed me that all the other car brands offer Saturday appointments (Dodge, Chevy, Mazda, Volvo, Hundyai (sorry about the spelling). That is the only negative about owning a VW.

Ryan Stromik, the Sales Manager of Wallace VW in Stuart, was excellent and very kind. He helped us get the transaction completed ASAP. The finance manager was off that day and Ryan took care of us. It was a lot better than when I purchased my previous car. In the letter I received I was promised a Visa Gift Card which I did not receiveAlso the story you gave me about the 2 different screws in the fender I think was made up by you. since the car was never repaired for any dents. So all I can figure that this happened in the assembly plant in Mexico.You did not at all take into consideration the low mileage on the car.These are the reasons I did not give you 5 stars,SincerelyAlfred J. I have had my Volkswagen serviced here for over 5 years (and note I did not purchase it here). They have always been very fair and helpful. They always look out for me and advise when there is any type of savings via a "coupon" that reduces my costs. During my last service/repair they made every effort to make it painless (loaner, great communication during the repair, and saved some cash taking their advice, thanks David!). David and Andy (Service Advisors) are top notch! I am in the market for a new car, and though none of the VW's really excite me, I am still considering one due to the service here. As a side note, I previously owned a Volvo that I serviced at Wallace down the street. They too had excellent service advisors, showing that it appears to be company culture to provide a high level of service.

Took my mother-in-law's 2013 VW Jetta in for 30k oil change at Wallace VW Stuart. After the oil change, went on a 3k trip. During the entire trip, the car smelled like something was burning. Opened the hood several times during the trip, checked the oil, did not find anything unusual. Upon returning, checked the oil again, and it took 3 quarts to get the dipstick to "minimum". Returned after the trip to Wallace VW Stuart to let them check the smell. Turned out, the mechanic that changed the oil, did not run a bead of new oil on the filter gasket; the thing that every "back-yard mechanic" learns on DAY 1! SO, the oil leaked out slowly over the 3k miles. Their answer was, "sometimes the gasket gets kinked". Well, I don't think so, not if you are a professional and know what you're doing! VERY poor customer service, wasn't even offered anything in return.

After have ignition replaced my key fob did not work correctly. After I notified them they ask me to return the next day and they took care of the problem of the programming of the key fob. Service was done very fast and everyone was very nice. They said the programming was done by a computer and the job did not finish completely. I have had them service my VW for 3 years and they have always done a good job.

Exercised lease end purchase option. Despite the lease clearly stating the fees and amounts I would be responsible for Wallace increased the fees and would not honor what was clearly spelled out in the lease agreement. Spoke to VW Credit and they said it was a dealer issue. I currently own 3 VW's and have owned others in the past. These are my last three and my last dealings with this or any other member of the Wallace Automotive Group.

Wallace was successful in getting VW to refund my mother for an expensive repair that was previously not covered. Thanks for all your efforts and excellent communications in resolving this problem! We are once again a very satisfied customer! Thanks Jeff and Angela !!

I helped my 75 year old mother lease VW passat with a 36mo term. The car was covered under a bumper to bumper VW warranty for the term of the lease. In 24 months the brake rotors needed replaced and they took advantage of my mother charging her $900.00 for the repairs that should have been covered under the B to B warranty. I found out about this after the fact, so I called the service manager, Jeff.in which he was very rude to deal with. He said that's too bad, and that's the way it is! I do not recommend dealing with the unfair and rude Wallace group of dealershipsPOOR SERVICE AND RUDE PEOPLE AND THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF a 75YEAR OLD WOMEN!!

Took my VW here because the battery had drained down to nothing overnight and the engine light was on. I was told by my insurance company to take it to a VW dealership, (it was in a fender bender last week, and they thought that maybe something was missed in the recent repair). I replaced the battery in Port St Lucie and left for work...it started dying on my way to work in Stuart. I pulled into the WALLACE VW Dealershiip and ask when they would be able to take a look at it. Their soonest appointment was 3 days away. No problem, but could I leave it their since it wouldn't hold a charge and I was 35 minutes from home? They would not allow me to leave the car on the lot. I had to take it and bring it backare you joking? What are you suppose top do with a car that dies as soon as it is turned off? When they tow a car unexpectedly for repairs, wouldn't that be the same thing? It would set on the lot until they could get to it? What happened to "service"?

Took my TDI in for simple oil change and had no reason to think it would not be performed properly -- so had no reason to check the oil level when my car was ready. I simply drove home. My driving has been light, since I work from home -- no commute. Weeks later, after I took a road trip, I checked my oil level, and to my surprise, I discovered that the oil level was far too high on the dipstick. Well above the Max mark and extending up onto the thin metal dipstick. I carefully checked it 3 times -- same result. Since too much oil can damage seals and oil pumps, I needed to correct the situation ASAP. It was a Sunday and the Local Jiffy Lube agreed to drain the oil to the correct level, and they did not charge me. Something as basic as an oil change was botched by Wallace VW. Jiffy Lube in Stuart has gained a customer and Wallace has lost one.

Went in for a basic oil change and assumed it would be done properly. When my car was ready, I didn't check the oil level before leaving the dealership. Weeks later, after a 400 mile road trip, I checked the oil and discovered that the oil level was way above the Max mark on the dip stick. I carefully checked it 3 times -- wiping the dipstick before each check. I estimate that there was 1 quart too much oil in my engine. As everyone knows, too much oil in the engine can damage seals and oil pumps. I took my car to Jiffy Lube and they drained the oil to the proper level free of charge. If Wallace VW cannot perform a simple oil change properly, I would be concerned with any type of complex engine repair or vehicle service issue. I cannot recommend Wallace VW service.

I had a bad experience at Wallace VW of Stuart the general manager is very rude and unprofessional he should be fired immediately I was very unhappy when I left there not sure if Mr. Wallace knows what kind of General Manager he has working at that dealership. Needless to say I will never go back there or any of his dealerships ever.

Then the next day I get 3 calls from the sales manager asking if I bump up my down payment from 1K to 1.6K they could do a deal , I agreed as we are on our way to the dealership we get a call and was told that finance or someone had messed up and they could not do the deal. Two days later I get a call telling me they have worked it out and could do the deal, I told them that if they had they not played games they would have sold a car that day

Returning from an overseas assignment, I contacted this dealership about purchasing a used vehicle they has posted on the internet. After flying into Orlando, I called the dealership and verified the vehicle was available. They said it was. I told them I was withdrawing cash from my bank and driving to them early the next morning. I asked if I could put money down over the phone with a credit card, they said it was not necessary, that due to our previous email traffic, they said they would hold the car for a day. I stressed that my only ride there was my daughter with a very young baby, that please make sure the vehicle is available, also I did not like traveling with that much cash on my person. They assured me the car would be there the next day to purchase. We drove two hours down with the baby, and upon pulling in the dealership lot the next morning, I received a text message from a salesman that said "sorry, car is sold". They did not even have the decency to call me, they broke their word, and put my daughter and the baby through a 4 hour round-trip for nothing. I am very disappointed in the lack of morality and integrity displayed with my experience from this dealership. I feel that it worked out for the best, if they were not willing to keep their promise, or take my down-payment, what kind of values do they have? I would caution anyone considering entering a contract or purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to get everything in writing and don't trust them as we did.

Back in July 2012 I was looking for a new VW Passat TDI and sent out requests by e-mail to several dealers with a 200 miles radius. VW Wallace came back with - by far - the best price. I was skeptical on what to expect and drove up there which was about 98 miles away. I am that kind of person who do not like dealerships due to their sales persons. Just to walk in there and get greeted by the sharks gives me goose bumps. But not this time. Wow, what a great experience. Why? - the price was as promised, no hassle of trying to add some additions - very professional - no pressure - really took their time explaining the features of the car - not pushy while selling additional services such as extended warranty, gap insurance etc. One no was needed. Other keep on pushing even after saying no. - overall a great experience, incl. the finance department It was definitely worth the time to drive up there. Can highly recommend them. Thanks to Sam Kinter and all the others.

Went to the dealer looking for an affordable car with good mileage and still somewhat sporty. I chose the Jetta TDI. great mileage and still very fun to drive. I called around to find out the prices to see what I should try and work with. The cheapest I found for the same exact vehicle was 23300. I told the sales person that I would like to buy from them and asked if they could beat the price. He assured me multiple times that they would. After 3 days of waiting on financing it came to negotiate price. They opened with 23995, not the 23300 I wanted. I made an offer of 23000 and then was told that they couldn't do any better then 23850. When I said I could just go to the other dealer the sales person said" how do you know the vehicle is still there, this one is right here" I said I couldnt afford that price and had to leave. On my way out I said to the sales person to call me if they can come down on price. The sales manager behind him then said with a smart attitude " NO you call US" so I walked out and got the exact car I wanted for 23000.I highly recommend never using this dealer, they strung out the process and lied through their teeth multiple times. I even asked earlier in the process if there was any other cars like it but in a different color, they insisted not one in the state and that if I found one that the other dealer was lying. I found 2 myself and even test drove one.
