I loved my 2014 XC60 but it was missing some of the newer technology features. I spoke with the sales manager Rich and Volvo Village was able to get me into a new 2017 with the exact options I wanted. The purchase was fast and easy - at a fair price, and financing was simple. Delivery was very professional and before I knew it I was driving away in my new 2017 XC60. I cannot recommend they guys enough!

We are vacationing in the area on our way to Quebec from Ithaca, NY. Needed new wipers and went to Volvo Village of Danvers. Very responsive and helpful. Then we heard a rattle The friendly service manager got us in to have it checked. They were totally booked. Turns out one of the bolts on the engine mount was loose. They tightened up all the bolts and identified a slow leak (not needing immediate attention) in the coolant system.. We were on our way in half an hour. No charge!!! We are so appreciative and found the experience so positive in what sometimes seems like a negative era!

I have leased two vehicles from Volvo Village of Danvers (as well as traded in two vehicles) this year and I highly recommend you consider this dealership for your next Volvo purchase. I leased an XC70 for my wife in March and an XC60 R Design (such an awesome car!) for myself this month (December). In both cases, we were very, very pleased with the service, attention, and overall experience we received. The price was right on our trade in's and the new cars. We worked with Driton Aliu and Brian Hester in both instances and they made our experience on both sides of the transaction great from the start. These are solid guys - professional, transparent, knowledgeable, informative and just really good people to deal with . We also interacted with Tom Witham on the Finance side as well as Rich Hamel and Hysen Mehmeti on the sales side. Again, really nice people to deal with and added to our overall great experience at this dealership. Here's some valuable context: I have been buying/leasing cars every couple years for the past 22 years. I've worked with Mazda, Volkswagen, Toyota, Land Rover, BMW, and Audi dealerships as well as another Volvo dealership prior to working with Volvo Village this year. I can honestly say that working with Volvo Village of Danvers has been THE best experience I have had in purchasing a new vehicle. The quality of my experience with Volvo Village has surpassed any of my previous experiences - not to mention the quality of the product that Volvo is currently producing. To echo another reviewer's comment, Driton and Brian made this year's experience painless and yes, I will say it, "fun!" This is the way car buying should be - fun, exciting, with no back-and-forth BS typical at other car dealerships. My husband spent 2 hours test driving and working out the terms for a GMC Acadia they had acquired through a trade in. I came by the next day to look at the vehicle. We made an appointment to come by that Friday to essentially sign the paperwork. When we arrived (with our 3 year old and 2 month old) the salesperson we had worked with, Mike, told us that he had "lost" the terms sheet and we would have to start from scratch. Luckily my husband had taken a picture of the sheet, which he showed him. Mike then claimed that he could not do these terms, that a different manager had been on when they negotiated the first time and the current manager would not agree to them? What? He then said he would go "speak to his manager" in the Hyundai building across the way and see what he could do. He then left us alone in the showroom, with our 2 month old and 3 year old, for 45 minutes. When we finally told another salesperson we were leaving, Mike and the manager suddenly appeared, the manager on his cell pretending to be talking to a buyer for my current car, as if he was trying to get more for my trade in. It was insulting how fake the conversation was. He then said he was trying to get more for my trade in to save the deal and tried another number for our out of pocket that was $2k over what we were told. I don't like playing games and I certainly don't appreciate wasting my time with this nonsense when I have my young kids with me. We had the terms, they called the night before to confirm we were still coming in, we were simply supposed to sign the paperwork and they pull this. Dishonest at best. I would never do business here.

What a great experience! Rich Hamel was so informative, so helpful, so kind, so personable, and so fair. Every part of this process has been enjoyable and I cannot recommend this dealer high enough. Rich and the team at Volvo Village did a great job getting my wife and I into a new V60 Cross Country. The entire process was handled via email and over the phone and the car was ready for us ahead of schedule. I signed the final paperwork and drove off in minutes. I will begin this review by saying I've worked in customer service and retail for over 4 years. I currently work for a company that values the customer most. A little background on my car situation and why I made the decision to lease a new car. I was coming to end of my lease with a Ford, I loved my ford and it was my first new car, But after two years I wasn't in love anymore with the car. I saw the new redesigned Sonata and I was hooked. I was buying it no matter what, I just need the right dealership. the national average states, that the average consumer will visit 1-3 dealerships before buying a car. I visited 5! 4 out of five of these dealerships had one thing in common, they misunderstand what important to customers in today industry. one salesmen even said "price and car" are the most important. NO! valuing your customer is. Hyundai Village provide that at every level and even when there were some missteps, they owned up to it and worked hard to fix it. Customers as well need to understand its a two way street. I go into dealerships with a level of respect I expect in return. they will respect you and work with you. I don't often say this, but I'm proud of my purchase and I'm proud of my local Hyundai dealership. Thank you.

I knew I wanted a Tucson, but I wasn't sure if I should go new or used, and was hoping for some direct and straight-forward advice. That Sunday afternoon Dave showed me several new and used models that were available. I went back Monday evening to take another look, and found a perfect car for me - a 2014 Tucson in Garnet Red with low mileage. Dave answered all my questions with ease, never tried to push me into any deal, and went out of his way to make the delivery very smooth and easy. I called him a few times with questions and he was always available or quick to return my message. I had a bad experience at a previous dealership with a salesman that was more interested in telling me how great he was, rather than how good the car was. Dave was friendly, professional and to the point, exactly what I wanted. I am absolutely delighted with my car, and will recommend Hyundai Village to anyone and everyone!

"Never go car shopping with your girlfriend RIGHT???" Since I had a great experience there already, I gave it a try. She was disappointed with the local Toyota dealership. There were two vehicle I was interested in. I was looking for a used SUV. I looked around, met other dealers. they had the best price and treated me like more than a deal that needed to be made. I worked with Hysen, he was very helpful, nice and accommodating. On the day I went to put the deal together, I came in early and walked in their company thanksgiving lunch. Not only did they share their feast with us, after we sighed the deal the manager walked in and gave us an 18lb.Turkey. Every person we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Volvo Village. The service and prices were great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for vehicle.

When I went to this dealership I wasn't exactly sure which model of Hyundai I should get. I wanted to take a look at a 2013 Hyundai Elantra with low mileage and a great price. It got sold - just my luck. However, with only a few questions my salesman Jose was able to find a perfect car for me and my 3 month old son. Very reasonable price for a new car. I have never had any positive experience with previous dealerships that I went to. I could have never imagined that I could own a brand new car. Hyundai Village of Danvers not only made that happen but also made the whole process a very easy and pleasant experience. We will definitely come back for Hyundai Genesis for my husband. Ed Grady and the entire staff always go out of their way to make my visit as smooth as possible. From sales to service they have their act together. I contacted 3 dealerships to find out about Volvo's current lease and competitor Conquest incentives. I got no response from one dealer and a robo response from another. Volvo Village's Sales Manager Michael Ackroyd called me immediately to discuss my situation and my interest in an upgrade to a Volvo. Our conversation was cordial and professional and we shared specifics about my current vehicle via e-mail. He called me back later that day with a very attractive offer on an upgrade to a 2015 S60 AWD lease. We visited Volvo Village the next day and Michael arranged for his associate Hysen Mehmeti to present the 2015 S60 and demonstrate its features. Hysen did an excellent and thorough job. The purchase decision , the completion of requisite paperwork with Business Manager Vadim Kelly, and the actual delivery of our Volvo took place in a very cordial and relaxed manner. This is the way that the car business should always work. Thanks to everyone involved in this transaction!

A friend was driving my Volvo and was in an accident and my car was towed to this dealer. The repair was done quickly and I was very satisfied with the service I received. When it came time to buy a new car I went back to them and I ended up buying an XC60 from Rich Hamel. This is the 7th car I have owned and the 4th Volvo. About 3 years ago I had to get a car in a hurry and hadn't planned on buying one. I looked for the cheapest lease I could find and found one for an Accent at Hyundai Village. I had never considered a Hyundai before so I figured I'd give it a try and I really liked it. With the lease running out, both Michelle Fitzemeyer and Preston Hawkins contacted me about what my next plans were. Michelle handles situations with leases running out and Preston is in sales. There was never any pressure or hard sell but rather striving to help me get what I wanted - which this time would be the purchase of an Elantra. I continued watching the web site and one went on sale so I started the process rolling with them. Not only was I treated very courteously and professionally throughout but the advertised price was the actual price. I test drove the car, liked it, we quickly came to an agreement and I took delivery 2 days ago. We had a very positive experience with Rich at Volvo Village. We never felt pressure. Specifically, we had a color in mind and weren't in a rush. We were not pressured to buy something they had in stock to rush along the sale. Rich was able to find what we were looking for and we came to look at it and drove away in the same day. I actually brought my car in for a service and wandered into the showroom while I waited. Found the perfect car fit for me as my wife kept pointing out. Met Rich Hamel who facilitated our purchasing the car. It was a very pleasant experience and Rich and other staff members could not have been more helpful. Rich very patiently went over the workings of the dashboard when we picked up our new car and we were encouraged to return at any time if we had more questions. Needless to say, I love the car.

I was in the market for a reliable used car. Since I did not particularly like dealing with car salespeople,, I was hesitant about where to go. I checked out cars.com, and a used Toyota Camry caught my eye. After checking out all info about this brand or automobile, and the year that it was made, I decided to go take a look. I must say, I was pleased with the car itself, and equally pleased with the staff of the Hyundai Village dealership in Danvers Ma. Was treated with respect, was not pressured and all questions were courteously answered. I made a purchase, and am going to pick up my car in a few days. I am one happy lady. Will recommend this dealership to friends.

Throughout the entire process, I was treated very well. Richard educated me about the Volvos that suited me best (XC60 and XC90) and helped me find one equipped with the features/style I wanted. My experience at Hyundai/Volvo Village of Danvers, MA was absolutely amazing. When buying or looking at a car, every dealership should be like them. Steve was tremendous and filled my car's tank to full when he didn't have to and went through all the features my car has the night I picked it up. Unlike other dealerships I've been to, they treated me with respect and made the whole experience of buying a first car comfortable. Volvo Village has consisitently serviced my vehicle since I purchased it there in March of 2012. I alwasy feel that they provide the best price and alternatives. I was there last week after hitting a pothole, which resulted in a blown tire and bent rim, although I did nto know about the rim when I brought it in.They were able to have a rim specialist look at the rim to see if it could be fixed versus buying a new rim, and kept me informed along the way!it is a great team and excellent customer service across all levels of the team!

I leased a 2014 Volvo XC70 from Volvo Village in Danvers. I had intended to lease from 128 Volvo because the dealership is closer to my house, but I went with Volvo Village instead because their lease price was better, the gave me much more for my trade-in, and Vadim was fantastic - knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Management was also considerably more reasonable than 128 Volvo, where the manager took on an antagonistic style. My experience was really fantastic, I'd stick with this dealer without hesitation.

I would definitely recommend this dealership. I found Volvo Village on-line with great prices for a C70. When I e-mailed the dealership, JC called me right back to answer a few questions I had - like what is my trade-in worth? Were there any hidden costs? JC was upfront with the C70's price and was within a few hundred dollars on my trade-in when we made the deal (which he hadn't seen before). The most impressive part is that Volvo Village is so truthful from the beginning, that I made the 400 mile trip (one way) to see if the deal was really possible. When I arrived, the C70 was already to go, they looked at my trade-in, Khann confirmed all the numbers with JC and Jayme started right away with the final paperwork! The whole purchase process was very professional, fast and friendly! I originally thought I would have to stay over night because when I've purchased vehicles at other dealerships - they either take 4-6 hours to do the paperwork or tell me to come back the next day and everything would be ready! Again, JC, Jayme and Khann were so efficient that they had me on the road back home within 2 hours! Thanks you JC, Jayme and Khann for making my C70 purchase a very pleasant experience!M. Chura

First I would recommend them. You're dealing with a car dealership, but overall they try to be as transparent as possible. I was not unhappy; like your typical buyer, I wish I could have done a bit better pricewise, but emphasize that I would recommend. Def no pressure......128 did a lot of fast and slippery with their numbers so I would not even have considered them when making my final decision.I'm one of those people who expect perfection; if I recommend someone, you know they are good! :O)

Great Internet deal being offered- all rebates and incentives were applied to the vehicle. Initial contact with JC was low pressure and informative. We visited the dealership with no intention of buying a new car, we were just looking to see if we liked the S60, as my Saab lease was expiring in October. We sat down with Mish and he started to work the numbers with us for a lease, we informed him that our lease was not up until October-so he sent the used car manager out to look and he returned saying it was in great shape. I went back the next day and worked out a deal with JC. They made it very easy to do the deal by getting us out of our Saab lease early. This dealership treated us so well, and now my wife is thrilled with her new S60 Volvo-she had never considered a Volvo, and because of the great customer service from this dealership, is driving one and will probably be a loyal Volvo driver, as she had been with Saab, for many years. Recently my husband and I were in the market for a new car. Having previously owned Volvo cars we knew we wanted to stay in the Volvo family. Our previous Volvo's were purchased from Stutz Volvo in Danvers. I spoke to a friend who said that Volvo Village had aquired Stutz and the people there were very nice. My husband and I decicded to visit the Danvers location and our representative William was very accomadating and knowable about the Volvo XC60. My husband and I were very specific about the features that we wanted and William was able to find us two models that fit the criteria. During our visits to the dealership all of the sales representatives were very attentive and friendly. My husband and I could not be more pleased with our purchase. My wife and I had an excellent experience and will definitely be back again when we look for our next Volvo! We are from about 3 hours away in Western Maine and picked a couple dealers in MA because of their expanded inventory. I emailed the dealer to verify pricing I saw on their website and set up an appointment with Alfonso. Once we got there Alfonso introduced us to William who showed us several cars we were interested in. Past experience with other dealers, is the high pressure approach. Not here, they were all great and didn't make you feel pressured. We had such a good experience we never left the dealer to visit the others on the list, we just signed on the dotted line. A great price and outstanding service, what more could you ask for. Vadim did an excellent job going over the car with us and answering any questions prior to us leaving in our new car. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give them a 10+

After visiting 128 Volvo in Wakefield and receiving sub par service. I decided to give Volvo Village a call. I was instantly pleased with the service and straightforwardness of JC. He quoted me the price I was looking for right over the phone, and when I got to the dealership it was no nonsense. The price I was quoted was the price I paid. JC also worked late to ensure the vehicle would be ready for pick up when I needed it, and my sales adviser Fred was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable about the vehicle. It was literally night and day from 128 to Volvo Village.

I went to have an oil change on my s40 and ran into Fred P. who had sold me my car and the one before it at Stutz. As usual Fred was fabulous and by the next week I was signing papers for my new S60! Fred as usual was extremely knowledgeable and above all extremely patient because, I am nothing short of neurotic when it comes to my vehicles. He and JC (the sales manager) worked hard to find me the S60 that fit both my criteria and my budget. And I LOVE my new car!! But it didn't end there, Jayme (the finance manager) was just as fantastic. She was pleasant, fun and as hard as it may be to believe made signing the paperwork a true delight. She was also very informative and knowledgeable and didn't pressure me into any add-on purchases. And I will admit I did add some because for the value it would have been crazy not to. Last but not least Jim in service and Dean in parts two more thumbs up. I ordered the winter mats for my new car and Dean new exactly which ones to match my new interior and he had them in by 9:30 the next morning. When I picked them up up they had them ready for more and check out with Jim was a breeze and they even took my car and hand washed it for me since it was raining the day before. I then ordered the rear mud flaps and the same speedy service. While I had to cancel my first two appointments because of a family emergency when I was able to reschedule Jim fit me right in the same day and was kind enough to inquire about my family. I know I will be with Volvo Village of Danvers for many, many years to come as this is my fifth Volvo.

These guys are always able to sqeeze me in last minute! They are willing to drive me where I need to go once I drop my car off, and they'll pick me up when my car is readey. These guys are very friendly, and very accommodating.
