First of all, great snack bar in sales area, staffed by "Grandmas". Went in really not intending to buy right then. Turned out we stayed a really long time so the food was appreciated. It was a yucky rainy day and a nice young man came out to greet us. He made the whole process fairly pleasant. Good egg. I was distracted and should have come alone honestly. I feel I paid more than I should have. I forgot the golden rule-- Always negotiate price of car first THEN the trade in!!! So I am not completely happy. Prices are higher than other dealers but do your research first! Car comes with oil changes and tire rotations for 2 years.

i cme in to look at a pre owned crv i was not sure if it would be a crv or a ford escape i liked the crv better but it didnt have a power hatch and the crv was a little to high and i could better reach it so mike kates had a leather strap put in so we bought the crv great work mike kates we love it

we came in last week looking for a car big enough for our kids to fit in they are 13yrs old and 6ft tall so most suv are to small i am 6ft5 so my seat goes all the way back victory did not have any thing that would work at the time but mike kates assured us that he would find us somthing that would work in our price range and he did he called us this morning and told us about a hond odyssey in our price range we went to see it and it was perfect for us we love it great interest rate low payment thanks mike kates and victory honda.

I contacted several Honda dealers around the Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati area and decided to expand my search radius to Muncie, IN. This dealership is very responsive. I went in to switch from a lease to a purchase and was able to get it done within 3 hours. Terry was able to get the payments right at my current payment amount. Steve is very personable and a nice guy. They have a great body shop Donnie was very responsive when I had a collision. My wife recently graduated from BSU and fulfilled her lifelong dream of being a BSRN. I thought that due to her monumental accomplishment I would support her wish list desire of owning a AWD EX L HONDA CRV. I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Steve Roberts, who fully explained to me the features of this vehicle. He succinctly suggested that to experience the features of the vehicle, I needed to test drive this vehicle. He immediately pulled one up and gave me a brief orientation of the vehicle. As I drove the vehicle, I knew in my mind my wife would agree with me on the features (bells & whistles). The only remaining factor was the color. She liked a bright red and the vehicle was red pearl. Steve noticed some hesitation on my part so he suggested to let my wife drive it herself.This action would clarify all doubts. So I did. My wife liked the vehicle with flying colors. When I got back to the dealership. I conferred with Steve and all he said was we will try our best to work with you so you can achieved getting your wife's dream car. Steve and Terry Bumgardner assisted me and worked out the financial details.After a credit check and negotiations of what we could afford to pay, it turned out a success story, My wife was very happy to get her grad gift/ main Holiday present. Nevertheless, I am avid believer that what keeps a company above their competitors is Quality Customer Service. Victory Honda Dealership is top notch when it comes to that. Steve ensured I was attended to; provided answers to my queries, allowed me to decide on what model I wanted and most importantly ensured that I succeeded in purchasing the vehicle my wife always wanted. He was amiable, cordial, and stellar in dealing with customer where he listens keenly to their requirements and needs of a vehicle and ensures that in return points out the features of the vehicle that meets the customers' requirements. Our 2001 Honda Accord was recalled so I called Victory Honda the day I got the notice. I called on Saturday, July 25th. Thinking I wouldn't be able to get the car in until the following week, I was quite surprised that they could get me in immediately. I spoke with Mike on the phone about coming in to the dealership to get the defect repaired. He was genuinely friendly and very polite. He was very helpful. I took the car in and spoke to Brady who also was extremely friendly, helpful and quite funny. He directed me to the cafe while I waited. No more than 20 minutes and the car was completely repaired. Victory Honda in Muncie has a sincerely friendly staff. I would highly recommend others to this dealership. You can't beat their service. It was a pleasure to come in! Plus, I got a free car wash when the car was completed. I will definitely be going back there when our car needs serviced.

I came in with an attitude that I really didn't need a new Honda, but after spending much time with Marco and finding out I couldn't get another Accord, I decided to try out a Civic that I really never intended to purchase, but after his convincing, I decided to test drive. It was not what I expected and I would have never known this if he didn't keep on me to test drive. That is my blessed experience with Marco.

The gentleman who helped me out in the garage was Brady. He was very kind & helpful. I was walked to the new cafe by Austin who had sold me my car a few years ago & he still remembered me & asked how my family was doing. Great customer service!! Derek Brady did an excellent job explaining the types of services that my vehicle was do for. As I left the shop I had some trouble with my ebrake cable he got me back in the shop immediately and fixed the problem. Jeremy was very helpful in my purchase of the new 2016 Honda HR-V. He is well informed of all the features on the car. He is also very approachable, likeable, well mannered. This was my first experience buying a car from a dealer and it was a great one! I came in a couple of weeks ago to do a test drive. Mike Secules did a great job giving me the time and space I needed in order to make a decision about which car to buy and when. Our lease wasn't ending for a few more months, but our total mileage and needed service were coming up...what to do?? We had leased an Odyssey and a CRV from different dealers prior to our current Odyssey that we leased from Victory. Misleading or false pretenses would be the kinder, gentler way to describe my expereince. I contacted them multiple times about a trade on a used vehicle they had in stock. I told them what the problems were in my car and what I had been allowed at another establishment. I sent them pictures of my car. They basically said they could match the other establisment, but after I drove over 4 hours to get there and said I would buy their car, they offered me less than half of what they had previously indicated. They offered auction price minus $225 for their expenses in taking my car to auction. They would not even meet me halfway. Thankfully, there is a Kia dealer nearby who bent over backwards to let me try their cars. They even offered me a great deal on a 2014, but I didn't like the ride, so I still have my 2000 Grand Prix GT.

The staff was more than accommodating but the salesman (Steve) went over and beyond the word customer service. I had been to several dealers and was not impressed with there style. After purchasing my used vehicle I noticed that the car hadn't been detailed. I requested to have it cleaned, but after being "cleaned" I noticed it was half done. At this point I was ready to go because I had waited 3 hours for them to process everything. Before leaving I needed to set an appointment to have my windows tinted. I was told that they would contact me after speaking with the window tinting guy and seeing when he's available. I called back for two weeks and finally recieved a date when my windows could be tinted. I never recieved my registration papers after a month of riding around with expired paper plates. Went to the dealership to question why I hadn't recieved my papers in the mail and the salesman said they usually call (never recieved a call) before sending them in the mail. No apologies for the lack if communication. I do not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this company.

My husband and I had just totaled our vehicle just a few hours before coming to Victory Honda. We had previously looked at two other dealerships, just to compare prices from around town. When we came to Honda, as a repeating customer I might add, we were welcomed with open arms. Our salesman recognized us from previous buys and remembered our talks. We quickly caught up to speed on our lives and he started asking us what we were looking for. We shared what had just happened and he was beside himself. We showed him pictures, what we had and we discussed our options. I quickly said, I have more pictures at home, let me go grab them. Our salesman said here is my number, send them to me when you get home. I made sure to do just that. However; when I returned our salesman, the GM and my husband were at the business that our car had been towed to. They were all there trying to estimate the total damage of our vehicle so we could get the best possible deal. When they returned I was ready to discuss the pictures, but they said there was no need, the pictures would not do justice for the damage that was done. On the car ride home, the GM looked at my husband and said, "We don't want you and your family to be without a vehicle and since you do not have a rental on your insurance, we are going to let you use one of our vehicles as a rental." My husband and I were shocked to hear that news. We expressed our appreciation to them and said , "You don't know how much of a blessing this has been." They said that was the least they could do for good people like us. As always, Victory Honda in Muncie, IN has given us the best service we could have ever asked for ! We have now purchased three vehicles from them and we will be purchasing another one within the next year :) ! We are truly blessed to have such wonderful people in Muncie to help serve us and not rip us off. God Bless Victory Honda and their families in Muncie, IN.

My second car which I had for years decided to die on me so I was in need of a new car, so I went car looking. My first stop was at Victory Honda of Muncie with plans to go other places before making a final decission on buying. However Steve Roberts, and Terry Bungardner informed me I would not need to go anywhere else, because they were going to take care of me! Take care of me, they did, I left there in a 2013 Honda Accord, very PLEASED. The following week I had thought about my other car which was a 2007 Saturn, and decided to go talk to Steve/ Terry about trading it in for another Honda and left there with my second New car in a week, this time a 2012 Honda Civiv. I have never gotten the kind of treatment from any other dealership that I got from them. Victory Honda had the lowest out-the-door Internet price on a new 2012 silver Ridgeline Truck in Feb. 2012. The buying process was made very easy by the professional sales staff.The other Honda Dealers I contacted in the area stated they could not match Victory Honda out-the door price!

I had been consediring trading my Chevy van for about a year when I heard a radio add from Victory Honda talking about they will give more than anyone for your trade. So I talked my wife into going there to check it out . We went in on a Saturday and were surprised at how nice and friendly everyone was . Our sales rep Austin foster was very polite and friendly . He showed us the Odyssey and we were impressed at the knowledge he has of the vehicle. He showed us the ins and outs of the van and what we had been missing all those years driving a Chevy. Overall it was an amazing experience and we left with our new Odyssey that day . I believe we got a fair deal and the folks at victory really care for there customers . Jon H. Anderson in.

We just purchased a new 2012 Accord EXL (our 4th new Honda from Victory). We had an appointment on what appeared to be a very busy Saturday. When we got to the dealership every salesperson was with a customer. We were greeted by a manager who got us drinks and chatted with us till Steve was available. Steve was great. The whole process was very smooth and easy. We were there about three hours total and left with our new car. Every person we interacted with was very pleasant and professional.

I was looking for a specific car for three months and happened to find the car I bought on there website late one evening. I emailed the dealership and they called me first thing the next morning. The salesman Donald answered all my questions and assured me the vehicle was well maintained by the previous owner. When I arrived at the dealership everyone was very nice and professional. They had the vehicle pulled up and ready to go. They showed me the car fax and explained everything about the vehicle in a way me and my wife could understand and felt good about. I feel they went above and beyond the call of duty and were truly concerned with our experience. We met one of the managers (Ken Litner) when we arrived and he assured us he was there to help and see that everything went smoothly. He was great and made sure we were treated fair and got us a great deal. Overall I have been buying cars now for over 20 years and feel that this experience was great and would defiantly return to Victory Honda of Muncie. This dealer cares about there customers and is great to deal with!!!

I went in looking for a quality used car with a trade that had roughly $1200 over black book value remaining as a payoff. The sales person was extremely pushy and the first 'figure' he brought out was suspiciously high. They were going to tack on the full remaining balance for my trade onto the end of my loan and give me nothing for it. When I said I wanted some time to think about it, the sales person told me the deal was only good for the day. Like calling the bank is oh so stressful. Now I know why I was the only customer in the building.

OK, here goes. I bought a used 2005 Saturn from Victory Honda that was being brought from Tennessee. The salesperson told my financee that there would be no charge to transport the car that it is a part of the sales price. Well, he lied. They charged me over $300.00 because the car wasn't even worthy enough I guess to drive back from Tennessee. I've had problems with the car since I drove it off the lot. It was under a 3 month warranty so I had to take the car back in and they cleaned the throttle body instead of replacing it the first time. The car was having the same exact problems a second time around so I brought it back in again and they kept the car for over another week and ended up replacing the throttle body this time. The same thing happened again with the car with the engine light staying on continuously so I brought the car back in again this time with the CAR MD report saying that it needs sensors replaced. The refused to replace the sensors of course so I gave up and decided well I need a car to drive and they didn't offer a rental during this big inconvenience so I replaced them myself which cost about $288.00. Another thing they did was lose the title to my car and I constantly had to go back to get a card plate so I wasn't driving it illegally. I had to wait a total of about two months to get my title and they screwed that up as well and I had some problems getting my plates because the new title didn't have the proper information on it that the BMV requested. So I ended up paying the late fee because Honda was late giving me my title. Now I find out that my fuel tank has been patched up since the tank just started leaking and I have to buy a new tank. No, I would never ever recommend anyone buying a used car from Honda unless you like dishonest companies that like to rip people off and get the big bucks for it. Update: I complained about the fuel tank to Victory Honda and the manager said they are putting on a new fuel tank for me so that makes me a little happier, doesn't x out all the other stuff but it's a start. I plan to discuss having to replace the sensors and the freight charge as well so hopefully they'll try and work some of those issues out too.

I bought a used BMW from this dealer, and the battery died the next day! They gave me a 90 day warranty, but when I called to make a claim, they refused replacement. They claimed that battery was not covered. That's not what is written down. If their lips are moving, they are lying!

I recently traded my car in for a 2008 used Honda Civic. From day 1 I had issues with a sound coming from underneath the the front hood that they could not identify. Even the head service mechanic heard it and couldn't figure it out. They kept giving me the runaround, saying that it was "probably just a piece of plastic" or maybe "something was just loose". I finally sucked it up and went in to exchange the car for another 2008 Honda Civic, in which I was told by the sales manager that they were going to raise the list price of the car I was looking at on the lot because of how much money they had in this deal so far. The day after I took the new Civic off the lot, I noticed issues with wheel alignment. I took it to a local full service garage in which they told me my front toes were off significantly. Of course, when I call back to Victory Honda to see if they will fix it, I'm talked down to, being told, "oh, that's not too bad and is probably just the wind", when in fact, I have to turn the wheel almost an inch to the left to keep it going straight. The specific readings were LTOE -.18 RTOE - -16. After getting my alignment fixed, I will never take my car to be serviced at Victory Honda, will never purchase a car from them in the future, and will absolutely not EVER recommend them to anyone I know.

After purchasing a set of 4 tires with alignment for almost 600$ from Victory honda in Muncie, my honda accord 2007, V6, started shacking on acceleration and pulling to the right. The pull to the right was so bad, it was hard to keep straight. I took it back twice, and every time they were telling me that this is a special type of tires that follows the road, "slightly to the right". Each day, Mike held the car for 10 hours before calling me with such a conclusion. Finally i checked with another dealer in Fishers, IN. In less than an hour the guy called me and told me that they put wrong tires on my car. When I checked with victory honda again, they told me that they will not replace those tires (Triangle talon TR968). I will never ever go back again.

Talk about arrogant, selfish and pure creap. I had the displeasure of purchasing a Honda Odyssey from Victory. The origanal sales person was polite enough but when we wouldn't agree to the over 800.00 payment they sent in Mr Personality. After being brow beaten to no end we walked. They sent the origanal sales person out with a 100.00 less payment. We came back in signed up and gpt home. We reviewed our paper work and payed almost 2000.00 for a warranty we were not told about nor ever wanted. So not only were we dumb enough to sign anything under duress but we left without them fixing the scratch they put in it while cleaning it up. Brand new car with a huge scratch that looks like it was keyed. Too bad that 2000.00 unwanted warranty doesn't cover it. Victory honda should be shut down they are jerks who laugh in your face and abuse you the entire time. Sad that people treat others like that.

My wife and I got sucked into one of those weekend sales extravaganza ripoffs back in October and went to Victory to buy used vehicle. After trading in my 2005 Dodge Charger (KBB value was over $10,000, the dealership offered me $7,800 trade value, and then turned around and sold it off for almost $14,000 somehow), we purchased a 2006 Chevy Equinox but they didn't have the title in hand. Long story short, after 4 full months of constant pleading, we still had not received the title to our vehicle, and the dealership continued to do nothing but make excuse after excuse. Never one time in our dealings with the salesman, financing director, or Sales Manager/Vice President were we given anything close to an apology for our inconvenience or for Victory's inability to procure the title. Eventually I contacted a local attorney who told me that it was illegal for the dealership to string me along for more than 30 days waiting for a title, and that even though Victory had given me 5 separate temporary license plates, they were only allowed, by law, to give out one. There are laws within the State of Indiana that state that if a dealer is unable to provide a title within 21 days of purchase, they are obligated to offer a full refund of the purchase price, plus all taxes, fees, insurance costs accrued, and any amount of money that had already been paid to the bank. In learning of this law, I contacted Terry Bumgardner (Sales Manager and Vice President of the dealership) on multiple occasions requesting that he obey these rules and give me the refund to which I was entitled, but Mr. Bumgardner told me over and over that he didn't care what the laws said, and that he was not going to sign any legal documents I presented to him, and that if I wanted to get my refund I was going to have to hire a lawyer of my own and take him to Court. Infuriated by Mr. Bumgardner's cavalier attitude, I proceeded to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Indiana Attorney General, and the Secretary of State for Indiana, as well as starting an online petition to boycott Victory Honda, all of whom determined it necessary to fully investigate the case.The whole situation came to a head when Mr. Bumgardner began ignoring my telephone calls, and when I had finally had enough my wife and I travelled the 40 miles from our home to Victory Honda to confront him in person. As soon as my wife and I walked through the doors, Mr. Bumgardner again tried to deflect us on to other members of his staff, and when we told him that we wanted only to speak with him, he fed us a line of bull that the person we needed to speak to was Susan in the title office because "she has more power and authority than" he did. When we made contact with Susan, she adamantly denied the fact that she had more authority than the VICE PRESIDENT of the dealership, and we once again were bounced back to Bumgardner. I had had enough and told Mr. Bumgardner that I wanted my money back, that he needed to sign the legal affidavit stating that he would return my money, and I presented him with an itemized monetary figure that laid out every last penny that I had spent on the vehicle since the date of purchase. Upon hearing this last request, Mr. Bumgardner told us that not only would he not give us the refund, but he told my wife and I that we were "the criminals here, not him" and that we "saw an easy way to try to make money off of the dealership, and that's the only reason (we) were making such a scene!" Let me tell you, if I was a simpler man, I would've asked Mr. Bumgardner to the parking lot (if you know what I mean), but instead I called him a "liar, coward, and a snake" and he became offended (as if "snake" was the worst thing a career used car salesman had ever been called!) He then told us that he would get the title to us whenever he had it, but that we were no longer welcome in the dealership and that we were to leave.Almost 2 weeks later, on the very day that the Secretary of State's office made a visit to the dealership, they "miraculously" were able to provide the title that we had been waiting 4 1/2 months to get. Surprise, surprise, you get the government involved and all the sudden the job got done. It was unreal, and still, no apology from anyone. Please avoid this place at any cost, they are crooks, and will not think twice about screwing you or your loved ones.

While everything started out ok, and the salesman was very friendly, at the point in time the papers were signed, suddenly all promises made were forgotten. Repairs that were to be made for free were not performed or billed. The dealer then went further and became verbally abusive. The general manager witnessed this and that salesman still works there so one can only assume this type behavior is condoned from the top. Though the location of this dealer is convenient, I will certainly never use this 'convenience' again. Too risky. These guys seem like a bunch of crooks hiding behind the Honda name. On one particuarly memorable call with the sales manager he said, "I've been doing this for 10 years ..." when he described why I needed to pay for repairs that before signing he said were to be done for free. One other interesting point is I needed a tow kit and they agreed that if I paid for parts they would pay for the rest. Of course after signing they admitted the install would be done by UHaul not their own service department. So when I asked why wouldn't I just go to UHaul directly they said then I wouldn't get the discount they would get through UHaul. Upon getting the bill, I called UHaul and asked for a quote got one 10% less than the dealer was attempting to bill for. Bottom line ... STAY AWAY!
