As car dealers go I never liked dealing with the salesmen. Tim Goelz at Thornton Automotive and the sales team there have changed my opinion. I purchased a 2010 Nissan Murano and they put together an awesome deal for me and handled all the financing as well. I didn't have to do anything. I would buy my next car from Thornton.

My experience with Tim was very satisfying he was able to assist me in making my purchase on my Convertible Mini Cooper. I have never own this type of car before and he was able to answer all of my questions and make me feel comfortable in this purchase. I have had the car over a month and I am completely satisfied with my buying decision. :) Since then I have received a letter from Tim inquiring about my car and asking me if I need any farther assistance. The experience I had at Thorton Automotive was the best I had ever had at any car dealership. Brad and Wayne worked with me to get me where I wanted to be with the price. I have bought many cars form Thorton and have always worked with Brad. The experience I have with him is second to none. I have referred a few people to Thorton and told them to go see Brad. I am 66, so this was not the first car I have purchased. However, I feel if I were 22 and purchasing my first car, I would be treated just as well as I was treated with this purchase. I called Tim on a Saturday when I was online looking for a car. I asked a few questions, and he said he would call me back with the answers. He called me back within 15 minutes answering my questions. I drove over an hour to look at the car. It was perfect, exactly how Tim described it. Everyone at the dealership was friendly, including the owner. They stayed late to do my paperwork so I could take my car home. I would definitely recommend visiting this dealership if you need a car

My salesperson Rick Brackley is a very knowledgeable, easy going guy that truly cared about finding me the perfect car and made me feel like a good friend. Chuck helped tremendously in the process with max trade value for my wrecked mini van and getting the right loan and monthly payment to fit my income. Wes put it all together and worked hard to assure I had 3 yr warranty with gap coverage for only a few buck more per month. Had a wonderful experience and were well taken care of. The nationwide computer systems were down, so the financing the old fashioned way, which made things take a lot longer. Not only did they have toys and crayons to keep our 3 year old occupied, Tim also took her for a ride on the golf cart to help keep her entertained. Since we were going to be there past lunch, and they knew my husband has a sugar condition, they even paid for our lunch. We would definitely deal with them again.

As a former car salesman myself, I'm always a bit skeptic when going to a dealer, and even more hesitant when going to a used car dealer. After going to Thornton Auto, I can easily say that it was the right decision. Tim Goelz not only is patient, friendly, and not your typical car salesman - he's also a car guy and owns a very badass Nova. So if you're looking into performance cars (which they have a lot of) Tim is "the car guy" to talk to. After car searching for 2+ weeks I ended up purchasing a very aggressive Mustang Bullitt from Tim and I couldn't be happier with my selection. Which leads me to dealing with Wes Myers: When I worked at my dealership, I was cool with the financing guys, but most customers usually were not happy with them for reasons being : Felt forced to buy gap insurance, extended warranties, tire and wheel warranties and raising their monthly payments due to bank interest rates. WES IS NOT LIKE THE OTHERS. Fair, transparent, and has a good relationship with banks/creditors. He was able to get me an awesome rate for a FIRST TIME BUYER from a dealership. No pressure sales, didn't sell me anything that I didn't wanted - and he actually LOWERED my monthly payment from what I thought I was going to be paying. If you're looking for a pre-owned car (especially pick ups or sports cars) Go there, talk to Tim, talk to Wes, they are truly there to help you throughout the buying experience. If you look on google/dealerrater/facebook they both have 5 stars across the board - and they've earned it. I drove 2.5 hours from NJ to buy a car and I would gladly do it again.Thank you Tim and Wes

I was a returning customer trading in my car and wanted a small suv. With the help of my salesman and Finance manager they were able to negotiate finally with a bank to approve and got me a 5 year warranty! It was a very long process but they both worked hard to get it done.The only negative was I was a bit upset about the trade in value for my Saturn only being $400 when I had another offer at Susquehanna Auto for $825. I stayed with them though because they had the perfect Suv for me.

My entire experience at Thornton (formerly Brookside) was wonderful. I was referred by two co-workers. From my first call to pulling off the lot, in my new car, was a very easy and smooth transition. I was referred to Carey, but he was unavailable. I was able to be helped quickly by Tim Goelz. He got me a great rate, kept my preferences in mind, and got the deal done while not being pushy or giving me the run around. He showed nothing close to the dreaded car salesman stereotypes! I have faith that every employee at Thornton would be this great to work with. Everyone I dealt with and spoke to was a pleasure and more than helpful. It had been awhile since I last purchased a car, so I was a little nervous about the whole process. A friend of mind recommended Thornton and so I decided to look at their selection. I pulled into the dealership and was greeted by Jason. I told him what I was looking for and he didn't try and push me into something that I didn't need and immediately pointed me in the right direction. Wes, the finance manager, was able to make my payments affordable. Overall, the experience was better then expected. The staff was very friendly and professional. Salesman did the, I got people looking and wanting to buy this car routine, he even pretented another buyer called him while I was sitting in front of him. Me and my husband were looking for a Chevy Duramax. We went to two other dealerships before we ended up and Thornton. Brookside has a vast selection of cars to suit any needs you may have, all of which are in great condition at reasonable prices. Tim Goelz assisted me in my car buying, and ironically didn't even really seem to try to sell the car to me as opposed to simply being sure that it was something I would be happy with from both a financial, and mechanical standpoint. I'd recommend Brookside to my friends and family for the simplest, friendliest car shopping experience I've ever experienced.

I saw the truck one the internet and thought id stop by to take a look at it. Salesman tim goelz meet me at the front door right off. In looking over and driving the truck i was happy with it all. So then came the part where the numbers come in and i was worried they wouldnt be to my liking but i was wrong and they met and exceeded everything. This was my first time buying a car on my own. Tim and Wes went out of their way to make the experience as easy and as less stressful as possible and Kevin came along on four different test drives in 15 degree weather. The guys were determined to make sure I made the right choice of car (which happens to be a 2011 Hyundai Sonata) and gave me a great deal on top of it. They really took the time to make me feel comfortable and made sure to explain everything to me in terms I would actually understand considering I'm not exactly the expert on buying cars. Here's the story: we looked at the vehicle, test drove it and returned to the dealership to make the purchase. beginning at about 5:20 PM. After signing all the paperwork about 8:15 PM including the dealer review, when we were about to leave with the vehicle, we found out there was only one key to the vehicle. After waiting three hours we were too worn down to do what we should have done and decline the purchase, but we really didn't know what was involved in getting another key. We spent one full day in search of another key at local key shops (one was about 20 miles away) before we decided to go to a Ford dealership. The key cost us almost $200. If we had known about one key up front and dealership key monopolies, our opinion of Brookside might be entirely different but right now I understand why used car dealers get a bad rap. They earn it by not being up front with the customers. We do, however, like the vehicle.

I had an old Jeep, needing lots of work and not very good credit. Wes and Jason were awesome in getting me the payment I needed in order to rebuild some credit and the vehicle I wanted. They didn't push a brand new vehicle on me. They didn't try to steer me away from what I walked in knowing I wanted. They were awesome at getting exactly what I wanted and fast. I walked in at 3 and drove my new Jeep off the lot at 7, and only because I had to go home and get the title. LOL. These guys were great and extremely helpful. We were in the market for a used pickup to tow a small travel trailer. We drove in to Brookside Motors to look at their selection of late model trucks. Tim Goelz came out and greeted us and asked what we were looking for in a truck. He listened to what we thought we needed and seemed genuinely interested in finding what we were looking for. He guided us to a low mileage 2011 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman. It was loaded with features that will make traveling a pleasure. Tim was knowledgeable on his inventory and at no time did he try to give us a high pressure sales pitch. We found Tim very personable and we enjoyed our experience purchasing our "new" truck. I can see why this dealership is rated #1 in the whole state of Pennsylvania. I had been exhausted looking for two weeks to find a replacement vehicle for my beloved Toyota Tacoma that was rear ended and totaled out two weeks ago.The five hour ride from Virginia, and five hour ride back was definitely worth the trip. Thank you so much Tim for taking great care of me. Best car buying experience I have ever had. Also thank you Brad for going above and beyond, going out in the rain to record a video of my new awesome Tacoma and e-mailing video to me. I have bought 5 cars from brad at brookside he is the reason we keep coming back, this guy knows what he is talking about and is the most honest salesman I have ever worked with. At this point he is not just a salesman he is a friend to me and my family. Another great reason to go to brookside is because even though your dealing with your salesman the other guys there help you out just as much.we were buying a jeep from brad and Kevin helped us out alot too cause he was a book of knowledge on jeeps you the man kevin!!! The finance manager is Wes who i can't say enough good things about this guy truly cares about getting you the best deal that is right for you. Why have I not discovered this "family" dealership sooner?! I take back the word dealership, because I never once felt like I was at a "dealership"! Hands down the BEST EXPERIENCE I have ever had buying a car! I drive by them everyday and finally decided to checkout their offers. The website was easy to navigate and I filled out the pre-approval application and within 30 minutes Tim called me with some follow up questions. The next day we drove our car off the lot! We went just to see what they had and see what we would need to work up to to get a SUV. We did not think with our current credit situation we would be able to. We thought even if we could we were looking at maybe a 2007 or 2008. They spent their time working to get the deal done for us, in the end they got us a great rate and we ended up getting a 2011 Dodge Durango, that we absolutely love! They worked to get us the great deal, informed us every step of the way, made sure if we needed anything while we were waiting, and even put cartoons on for our daughter and got her coloring books and crayons. Everyone was so nice and helpful, We will definitely go back for all of our future vehicles! We cannot thank them enough for everything!

Tim Goelz was my salesman. When I went in I informed him that I WANTED an SUV but would take anything at a good price that was safe for my babies. I had a 2002 Subaru Outback that was on it's last leg. I researched many dealers and decided on Brookside Motors in Dover. I really didn't expect to have any success and thought I would have to go back to the Buy here/Pay here dealer. I met with Jason and he welcomed me with a fresh hot cup of coffee and a smile. While I walked the huge lot of beautiful cars, Chuck and Jason worked on the financing that would meet my budget. I fell in love with a Jeep Liberty and Jason and I took it on a test drive. After waiting for the banks to do their thing, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the Jeep was affordable for me. Thanks to the hard work done by Chuck and Jason, I drove home in my beautiful Jeep. I never expected that I would have been so pleased or that I would have the Jeep that day. My wife and I stopped in looking for a pick up truck with specific guidelines, Jason showed me what we were looking for and made recommendations. No pressure. We stopped back the next night for a test drive and negotiated a little, done deal! Best of all he listed the things they were going to do to the truck and when I picked it up a few days later, everything was completed and more! What else could I ask for. A few days later, I had a service question, so I stopped at their shop. A mechanic went for a ride with me and assured me of no problems. He then went over the services that were preformed. It's all a great experience.

I'm a first time car buyer who walked in with my dad knowing I wanted to drive off in a Jeep. Jason came right up to us as we walked around the lot and led me to the car I thought I wanted. I test drove it & found out it wasn't the car for me. We all walked around the entire lot trying to find the car for me. Everyone was so friendly and understood I had no idea what I was doing and Jason was eager to help! There were so many great options at Brookside, but the Focus was the one for me. My dad & I drove it off the lot with the great help of Jason and the rest of the staff. My experience at Brookside was the first, but the service will be forever hard to beat! PS It was also the day of the quarterfinals for the Women's World Cup & Jason turned the game on inside while all the paperwork was being completed so I didn't miss a minute!

My experience at Brookside Motors was hassle-free and easy. Brad, the salesmen, wasn't pushy or overbearing at all but was available and attentive with all my questions and concerns. I am somewhat of an anxious person and Brad made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I will be requesting him in the future I am sure. I dealt with Brad Rodgers and he went out of his way and beyond to help me get into my new Mustang!! I would recommend anyone that is looking for a new vehicle to go to Brookside. Brad even went so far as to drive to another dealership to pick up my Mustang before it was sold to someone else when he was told that the dealer there had an appointment later that afternoon with a couple who was planning on putting a deposit down on the car. Well........we got there first!!! Then once we got it back to Brookside he did all he could to get the monthly payment down close to where I needed it to be. I found the vehicle my wife was looking for and thought it was not going to fit our financial plan. The guys at Brookside made it work and without pressure. After shopping most of york and lancaster county I wish I would have just started at brookside. The price was comparable to others but they gave us more for our trade and made the numbers work. I recently purchase a vehicle from Brookside Motors. I found both Carey and Tom to be extremely professional, knowledgeable, and polite to work with. Their honestly and "no pressure" sales approach was a pleasant surprise from my other car buying experiences. Being unfamiliar with the area Cary came with me on the test drive. During the drive Carey made sure that I took several windy, bumpy, roads so I could hear and feel how the vehicle responded under those conditions. I had stopped just to look and was greeted within minutes by Jason! He was so nice and respectful and listened to everything I was looking for, he took the time to go above and beyond! I was looking for a newer vehicle for my kids and found the perfect one. Chuck and Jason took the time to talk to the banks and get exactly what I needed in my budget and with no co-signer!!! I was referred to Brookeside by a friend who had an awesome experience with them. Hoping for the same thing, i went to the dealership sat down with Tim and he listened to what i was able to afford and what i was looking for. After a week Tim and his managers were able to get me in the vehicle i was hoping for, and originally went to the dealership to buy. I was looking for a particular SUV and found it here at Brookside, so, I drove from MD to their dealership in PA to purchase; and it was well worth the drive. Jason and Wes were very straightforward, easy to work with and honest. The whole purchase experience was quick, to the point and no hitches arose. I got my 2005 Rav 4 with the help of Jason and Wes. Since I work out of the emergency room at a local hospital, I needed a car that could reliably get me to and from work, even in winter weather. I had been searching for a newer vehicle for some time. I had seen what several other dealerships had to offer both in quality and price, and was not impressed. Having bought my last vehicle at Brookside Motors and being completely satisfied, it was time to return and check out their inventory. Upon my arrival I has time to look at their wide selection of SUV's before being greeted by Tim Goelz, and that in itself was a pleasant surprise because their was no high pressure sale involved. Tim was very helpful and I took a Jeep Grand Cherokee for a test drive. The Jeep was immaculate and ran great. The price was unbeatable too! Once I returned, Tim sat me down and talked about financing options, took some information and stated he would be in touch. I was not optimistic simply because I had no money down, no trade in, and my credit score was at the low end of fair. A short time later, I received a call from Tim and he had the news I was hoping for; financing that was within my budget, and a nice warranty on the Jeep. I returned the next day, and the paperwork was thoroughly explained and signed. I drove home in a great, clean and affordable SUV. Thanks to Tim and Wes, I will refer anyone who asks where I got my Jeep, and definitely will buy from Brookside Motors again and again.

We had trouble getting a car at first from a different dealership. The employees at the other dealership were rude and judgmental. Here at Brookside we had great service and the price on our new car was outstanding. Brad Rodgers was a great help and he was willing to deal with us. we ended up walking away with a new mustang and I love it. We walked in there looking for a car for my wife. She still owed a lot on the current car she had. Kevin was off that day, which is the person we bought our last car from, but Tim took very good care of us. We didn't think we were going to be able to get my Wife into the 2013 Dart she reallllllllly wanted but Chuck was a quick thinker and said I could use my car which I only had $500 left to pay on it and use that for a trade and when I went back in the summer to look for a truck I could trade her car in since you can usually roll over negative equity into a truck easier. And as it turned out they had the truck I was looking for on the lot as well. So I said Chuck and Wes make me the deal of a lifetime and I will walk out this door with 2 vehicles not just 1. Wes crunched the numbers and gave me a heck of a deal on a power-train warranty and a low monthly payment and the next day I drove away in a new used 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 and my wife drove away in a 2013 Dodge Dart SXT Sedan. I saw a vehicle I was interested at located at one of their other lots and they were willing to pick it up themselves and bring it to the main lot brookside motors. There I dealt with Tim, a previous sales man my family recommended me to, where we talked about the best deal for me. As a ghost in the credit world I was able to take out a loan to build my credit. I was also able to hold my vehicle till I had the time to finalize everything. Overall, I had a good experience with great service and very friendly customer service.

Was looking for the buy here, pay here up the road and came in here by accident. Explained what I was looking for and the need to get something as soon possible. They looked up what they had available that would be reasonable for me to purchase that was around the same price per month of what I was looking at getting from the bhph. Got set up with a much newer car then what I had originally been looking at with a very nice warranty as well.

My husband had made up his mind that it was time to replace the car he had been driving, so we visited a couple of dealerships. The salesperson was very informative, polite, and answered all the questions he had asked. I have recently moved to Dover, PA and I was looking for a nice reliable SUV. I pass Brookside Motors everyday on my way to work. One thing I had noticed about this place is that when the news was calling for bad weather, they would move all their vehicles in the barn. That to me was a sign that they like keeping a clean lot for people to come and look at their vehicles. Every time I had stopped Jason would come out to greet me and ask me if I needed help. My husband and I were in need of a SUV to fit our family and our budget. Being a Jeep guy, I was dragged kicking and screaming by my better half away from the great models they had available toward something more "economical". I had decided if I was going to get a CAR of all things, it would be a Ford for many reasons. I was initially "focused" on the Fusion, but was distracted by the Focus' higher fuel mileage ratings (35-40 mpg?! great). It was a cold windy night, and we had to use our test drive to run a few errands. We drove two Focus models that were great, but then we drove the Fusion AWD Sport and were sold! It has more room, and (((GASP))) it drives better in the slushy/icy/snowy roads than my last two Jeeps did. Just have to try it in the mud come spring! Thanks BROOKSIDE TEAM for a THIRD win in the car dept for this family!

Our third purchase with Brookside and was our best experience yet..we had tons of issues with credit report and they kept contact daily to see how far we had come the night before with the credit company and to see if they should run my credit report again, they explained to me everything i needed to do to get it off of my credit for my loan and with everything they told me i followed and had the collection off of my credit within a week.. Tim would return our calls within the hour and helped us out more then i could describe.. they held the car as long as i needed and put a sold sign in it although it wasnt completely bought at that point. I would absolutely recommend anyone to go to them even if they arent sure what exactly they want price wise/car wise.. they will go out of their way to help you with everything, definately a satified customer!!

I went into the dealership not knowing much about them and was greeted and helped immediately upon arrival. I knew what car I wanted and was promptly shown the car and they even let me test drive it! They answered all my questions about the vehicle and even gave me a past history for the vehicle. They brought key points to my attention without pressuring me to look at any other of their vehicles and without pressuring me into buying their vehicle. After shopping around for a truck for weeks and working with other dealers and banks for financing it seemed no one had an answer to whether they can help me or not . Some prices were extreme and some sellers were just to pushy to get you in anything but what you needed. So after a long week I was still waiting to hear from a bank about financing on a truck I thought I wanted but I continued to search. After stopping by a few dealers and not approached by anyone for help I finally stopped at Brookside Motors in Dover,PA not knowing it would be my last stop. Jason came out immediately and introduced himself and began to ask me what I was looking for and needed and then took me around and showed me a few trucks . After talking to Wes about financing I was not able to get the first truck I liked but I ended up with a better truck a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. Thank you Jason and Wes, love it! It was a very brisk day, but that didn't stop Tim from coming to greet us as soon as we stepped out of the car. Noticed a low mileage 4runner in a auto locater book. Just on a whim, we went to check it out. I had never owned a Toyota, but being part of a "Toyota Family", I thought I would give one a try. We were passing by on our way to shop for a used vehicle and decided to swing in and start here. Kevin came out to greet us, assessed our needs and offered us the car he felt would be the best value for our immediate needs. We took it for a long test drive. Wow! Our experience from start to finish was like cutting through butter...smooth and easy. Tim started this process over the phone with my husband as we are out of town clients. We spent 2 hours by car to get to the location through fog and crazy traffic but it was worth every minute. Tim greeted us before we could even get into the building. The vehicle we were interested in was sitting in the front waiting for its test drive. No hassle, no fuss. After a fantastic test drive, the true test was to come as we went inside the very modern and clean offices of Brookside to talk business. Tim passed with flying colors. The staff was waiting on us instead of the usual waiting on them (as our experience at other places). He went out of his way to make us comfortable as we confidently walked through the financing process. What has been a grueling process at other dealerships, was more like a pleasant chat with a friend with Tim at Brookside. My husband and I just purchased a 2011 dodge durango from here. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They always did everything they possibly could to get the vehicle we wanted and in our price range too! Our salesman was Jason he was great to work with, we were in and driving off with our new vehicle in no time. We bought the durango before they even had a chance to put it on the lot which ment we had to wait a fay for them to get it ready. When Jason called us and told us that they wouldn't have it done that day, and that we couldnt get it until monday we were a little upset because we thought we would have it for the weekend. Saturday morning we get a phone call saying that the service guy came in and did it before he felt bad for not having it done for us! We have driven by Brookside Motors, noticing a 2 door Nissan for a couple weeks. We finally stopped in and met with Jason. First impressions were great. Not pushy took time to go over all the components of the car. Gave us a great deal. Also, the true test of a sales person is when there is a minor problem how do they handle it. My husband and I were looking at minivan we had seen online for our family vehicle. We did not anticipate to buy it that day but loved it so much we started the process. We live in Norfolk Virginia. My husband had been looking for a very specific truck for a while and found one online at Brookside Motors. We looked on a map and it was almost 300 miles away from us. We called the dealership to inquire about the truck on Thursday. Jason told us that if it hadn't sold by Friday, they would be happy to put a hold on it so we could come look at it on Saturday. He sent us additional pictures of the engine and called Friday afternoon to let us know it was being held for us. My husband and I plus our two kids made the trek up to Dover Saturday morning. Roughly 6 1/2 hours later, we were greeted at our vehicle in the dealer parking lot with smiles and handshakes asking how our trip was. Jason immediately took care of all of us, including our kids. We had a pretty tight budget to work with, but they did everything in their power to make sure it would be affordable for us. We'd never bought a vehicle out of state before, but they all made the process so easy. Once we got everything in order we were headed home in our new truck! Needless to say it was a long drive to test it out, and my husband fell in love with it even more. On Monday, before work, he went to start it and found that the battery was dead. He called up Jason and without hesitation he told us to just get a new one and send him a copy of the receipt and they'd send a check our way. Everything is working great now, and we have no regrets driving so far to do business with them. They were amazing, and Jason just did everything he could to accommodate everything we would need. I appreciate everything they did to work with our family, and now my husband has the truck he's been wanting for so long. Thank you!!!

I haven't purchased a car, from BROOKESIDE MOTORS, but that did not stop them from working with me in having my girlfriends car repaired (which she did purchase from them). I certainly have to give Chuck, the Service Department and the entire staff my undying gratitude! The car, a 2005 Mini Cooper was purchased in November 2013 and it wasn't until June 2014 that we discovered that the tie-rod assemblies were bad causing the alignment to be out and the tires to wear to the steel bands. After making BROOKESIDE aware of the issue not only did the reimburse half of the purchase price of the new tires, they also had the tie-rod assembles fixed and aligned at their expense! I can't say thank you enough! Chuck went out of his way to communicate with me personally, until I was satisfied! I find it very refreshing that the crew at BROOKSIDE MOTORS didn't hesitate to accept responsibility and do the right thing for my girlfriend. They truly to care about their customers and will absolutely go the distance to satisfy the customer! When it comes time for a car purchase for me or my daughter, I know that I will not have to look any further than to BROOKSIDE MOTORS!

I went in and was met by friendly staff and treated with the upmost respect. Tim asked me questions as to what I was looking for and made it happen. My husband and I decided that we would make our first big purchase together by getting a vehicle. My car at the time was in bad shape and I still owed money on my loan. I didn't think I had a chance of getting approved or finding a car I liked that I could afford. Carey and Chuck came to the rescue! Carey met my husband and I on the lot as we were looking for cars. Normal car buying experiences suck. You should up and wait for someone to come talk to you and then they have no idea what you actually want and they are of 0 help in finding you your vehicle. Not with Brookside!Jason from the start was helpful, I talked to him the night prior about my truck and set up and appointment and he called me the next morning to ensure the appoint was still good. Pulled in the parking lot and got out of the car and he was coming outside to greet me, with the truck already in front of the building ready to go! He answered all questions and worked through the financing with ease for me. Not only getting me a good deal on the truck, but getting me what I wanted for my trade in. All the vehicles I looked at in the lot were top of the line quality, I didn't see a single vehicle there that made me have that "Well this is a piece of junk" view. I would suggest to anyone to go and look at a vehicle here. Its worth the drive! I took a 2 hour trek from Philadelphia out to the dealership and left with the best car buying experience I have ever had! A+ all around in every aspect.

Lets start by saying, I have never gone to a car dealer that left you with no buyers remorse. The service from the time my fiance and I arrived on the lot was top notch. My fiance and I had a few issues between us at the dealership and they were just not trying to sell us a car but wanted us to make the best decision that we both would be comfortable with. We were even told buy Tim "Yes, we want to sell a car but you both being comfortable with this is more important and if you are then don't do this" Well needless to say, any sales person that is going to tell you they want you to be happy even if it means not buying the car......well what do you say to that??? I could write a short novel regarding the great customer service from Tim and Chuck, but I dont want to leave out the finance people, they were great and quick! Can you say in and out in 1 1/2 hours. My sincere thanks to everyone. We have friends for life and a super economical car (we both work in Maryland) My fiance has the chance to better his credit and it was a great experience. I have to say that Brookside Motors was THE BEST car buying experience I have ever had. I have purchased 29 vehicles and love 4x4's. The professional touch that Kevin put into working with me was off the charts. In the past I always disliked buying a vehicle and the tactics used by car salesman. I did not face that at all with Kevin. They were extremely fair, professional, and efficient. I felt like I was hanging out with some buddies making a business deal. My father and I went into Brookside last week looking for a car for me to drive, my expectations weren't too high but we came out with an amazing car. I was working down the road and noticed that brookeside had some very nice trucks on the lot. We stopped on the way home and talked to Tim, he was very profesional and friendly and not pushy like most salesmen. i called back the next day and ran my credit and they got me a excellent rate. I picked up my truck two days later. took the truck bak for brake pads and they gave me a loaner vehicle and even filled my tank up since im almost an hour away. Im very pleased so far with the customer service. Tim has called me twice to check how everything is going an i find that to be very awesome. Also im very happy with the fact that their Warranty company actually covers llifted trucks they even over the lift itself which is un heard of. would certainly reccomend to friends or family.

Jason was helpful when we came onto the lot to look at purchasing a used Jeep. He didn't pressure us at all. When we weren't sure if we wanted to purchase the Jeep because of some body scratches on the fenders, he suggested that we put a refundable deposit down and they detail the car and come back in to check it. He called back a couple days later and said to check it out. They had pretty much re painted the fenders because of a couple deeper scratches. They went out of the way to insure that the one thing we were concerned about was taken care of! Very impressed! The car was very clean and were happy and satisfied with our purchase. We would definitely buy again from them and recommend to friends and family as well.

I drove by Brookside Motors on a rainy day and wanted to stop in to get some information about a car I noticed on the lot. The staff was very cooperative and assisted me right away. They did not try to hold me hostage like some other dealerships that I've been to. They gave me the information that I needed and then I left. My wife and I bought a 2010 Ford Escape in December 2013. It was an unexpected purchase but we needed a vehicle right away due to work. We live in Dover and tried to find a vehicle in this area. We looked around online and narrowed our search to a few vehicles. When we came in to test drive these vehicles we were greeted by Jason. He was friendly and helpful and accomodating considering our situation. We left that night with a new vehicle. When it came time to purchase another vehicle, we remembered how nice and friendly Jason was in our previous search. Once again, Jason was friendly and helpful. We gave him our budget and he worked to get us into a vehicle that fit our needs. We eneded up leaving that night with a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg Edition. Brookside Motors is great! They have a nice selection of newer used cars, their website is user-friendly, and prices and mileage are readily apparent (unlike some other dealerships in the area). Carey Myers was terrific to deal with. There was no pressure from him at all. He showed us the cars we asked to see, went along for the first test drive, and answered all our questions. Then he allowed us plenty of time to make a decision without additional pressure. I have poor credit because of a failed marriage, but Carey and Chuck Warfield (the sales manager) worked hard to find me a lender who would work with me. In addition, I was new to the area and couldn't find my birth certificate, but they patiently held the car for me while I sent off to get it and then get my Pennsylvania driver's license. I was very happy at the dealership's flexibility and patience.I highly recommend Brookside Motors.

Buying a car is a huge thing for most people so it was quite a decision to be made. We made the initial call and Jason reached out to us. He was so great at handling this ..... so stress free and quick. Literally, a lot of people spend hours and hours at a dealership. Not in this case. Jason was able to handle everything! Wes was unbelievable with helping with financing! When I test drove the car, Jason was cool and easy to talk to. Explained the car details to me, at least as much as I could absorb as I was so astounded by the feel and look of the car! (a mini cooper)! Jason Samelko is one of the greatest salesmen I have ever encountered. He was very polite and truly did an amazing job with helping me and my boyfriend find a truck that we were beyond happy and satisfied with. Jason's love for his job really showed as he helped us in every way possible to find a suitable and affordable truck for us. Brookside motors is by far the best dealership I have gone to for several reasons. I've gone to multiple places and even my own bank to get financed but they all denied me and didn't try. Brookside is the only place that actually tried to get me approved and showed faith that it could be done. I have no credit, self-employed and young which makes it really hard to get financed. I showed up at brookside not thinking I would walk away with a new car. When I walked in everyone said hello to me and everyone was very friendly. The one person that stuck out to me was Tim. He was very friendly and very understanding of my situation. I wasn't sure what kind of car I really wanted and Tim showed me a 2009 Toyota Corolla Xle. I fell in love with it immediately. The price was very reasonable and the payments were under what I could afford. Tim also got me an extended warranty without raising my payments. Too bad, they don't have a rating of Excellent, that would be my overall experience with this dealership. I would recommend them to anyone. When I wasn't sure I could purchase a vehicle, Tim and Chuck went to battle for me and got me in, not only, the type I wanted, but the EXACTvehicle I wanted. A bunch of fun and down to earth sales people, that you usually don't run into now a days. Yes, they want to sell vehicles OF Course, but NOT once did Tim come off pushy (Which means alot when you are unsure about things like this).Iwhen needed I will go back to them again and definatley ask for Tim as my sales person. And also thanks to Wes, for having all of the paperwork in order and making it less painful when signing all those papers.

When I first came in and looked at the truck I had saw in an ad, I was told I wasn't going to be able to get it due to financial reasons. Two days later I called back about a different truck and Chuck, Wes, and Jason did everything they could to get me the original truck I wanted within my price range. The next day I was driving home in my new Dodge Ram SLT. I have never seen a dealership work so hard to help someone out, everyone there was truly amazing. They went above and beyond every one of my expectations and I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

Carey was so great! He was very friendly and comfortable with us. He really showed that he cared. He seemed very at ease and knowledgable about the vehicle we were purchasing and with the whole process. He made the whole experience very pleasant. He answered all of our questions and made sure that we received all the benefits we could purchasing our Yukon. He even called to make sure to thank us and make sure all was well with the vehicle. I had a problem with my heat about a week after we got the truck and Carey made sure to walk me over to service and talk to the service guy. About four days after it was fixed..(and it was fixed fast), he called to make sure all was working well. I would recommed Brookside to anyone without hesitation. Buying a new vehicle is very stressful for me, Brad made the process much less painless. I was not really in the "market" to buy a new vehicle, but after an accident I had no choice. After much searching on the internet, my husband and I just decided to start driving down Route 30 toward York. While just making a "circle" around we saw this really nice F150 truck. We pulled in Brookside Motors took it for a test drive and ending up buying the truck. We will recommend Brookside Motors to our family and friends. Not only was Brad helpful and professional, but everyone we encountered there was just as great. There were a few little things that needed to be fixed on the truck and Brad was great at getting those things fixed and he also got us in the monthly payment range I was comfortable with. Chuck was very professional and very friendly. This dealership goes the extra step and double checks over the used car. The inspection sticker was almost expired so they inspected the car and renewed the sticker before we pulled the car off the lot. The whole buying process and negotiating was the smoothest we have ever experienced. Worth a visit if your ar buying a car!!

This was just like buying a car from your best friend! The entire staff at Brookside is absolutely incredible! My wife and I had such a wonderful, stress-free day buying this car. I have driven past this lot many times and liked the inventory from the road. I thought about actually stopping on occasion but figured it would be like most Dealers in the area and I would be bombarded by the salespeople. Not so, at this Dealership. This process of purchasing a vehicle was the easiest and most enjoyable experience I had while shopping for vehicles. I was not pestered by phone calls from Carey or Wes. I was treated more than fair and they worked hard at getting me an affordable payment with an above average interest rate for a used vehicle. I did not roll onto the lot with the intent of buying that day, but more so to explore the inventory, and options i had available to me. Jason Samelko made things so easy and possible right now that he just made it all fall together as it needed to. When ever a problem arouse during the buying process he was quick to resolve the problem. Jason was very aware of the resources available to him, and with the assistance from Wes Myers i was the proud new owner of my 2010 3500 Laramie Mega cab. Like i say the inventory is incredible. There is a lot to choose from, so when i wasn't sure about a certain vehicle, we just moved on until i was completely content with my choice. I would and will definitely go back if and when im ready to trade up. Don't know that i will ever have to do that, this could possibly be the end all for anything better. I would recommend you go there and see what they can do for you. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Our experience at Brookside Motors was by far the best I've ever had. Beginning with our salesman Carey, a very professional, courteous, kind gentleman and his knowledge of cars and trucks was amazing. Wes was also a contributing factor to our delight with this dealership, he too was knowledgable, not only with his expertise but he knew the stock as well. I was searching for an 2006 or newer chevy 2500 hd diesel with an 8 foot bed with under 100,000 miles, which is not an easy truck to find and Brookside Motors had an 07 with 83,000 miles. I had spoken to Tim Goelz about the truck and told him I wanted to see it. It was an hour and a half drive from my home and was dark by the time I got there and when I parked Tim immediatly parked right next to me in the 07 chevy wasting no time which I liked because it was too far to drive to waste time looking around for Tim or the truck. The truck test drove nicely and I told Tim I wanted to inspect the truck further and he had me pull into the service garage. He even found me a floor creeper so I didn't have to roll around on the concrete. I'm not a mechanic but the truck looked rock solid compared to some of the other trucks I had seen at other dealerships. Inside the dealership Tim and I discussed price and trade in. Tim and the finance manager "Chuck I beieve his name is" came to me with straight forward prices that were very reasonable. I expressed that I wasn't sure if I wanted to trade in my truck because a friend of mine was interested in buying it. They said no problem, bring my friend in and I could trade in the truck and receive the tax credit and they could turn around and sell it for the same price to my friend. Now I don't think that is a common business practice, these guys were really trying to help me. I told them I needed to think about the whole deal I still wanted to shop around. Tim knew I was really interested in the truck and offered to put a sold sign on it for a refundable deposit which I did. I have never had a dealer do that for me. Unfortunantly for Tim I found another truck that had a few more options that I decided after seeing it I had to have. Upon contacting Tim about my decision he was gracious and refunded my deposit. Besides the quality vehicle, the excellent pricing and polite service Tim and his associates were honest and worked in a family friendly environment. In most cases I walk away from a dealership with a feeling that they know something I don't know. But not at Brookside. I will recommend Tim Goelz and Brookside Motors and the next time I'm in the market for a vehicle they are my first choice. Sincerely, Max Timberlake

Brookside was the first dealership I visited recently when I decided to at least consider trading my last car for something else. I had purchased from them years ago and had a very good experience. Apparently, time has done nothing to change the level of service. I was greeted, immediately, by two people who allowed me to explain my situation at which point Tim was tasked with helping me find something that worked. Tim was very helpful and was willing to show me everything that might work for me. When i found a few things that interested me, i dealt with Wes who, i believe, handles the financing. Wes was also very helpful and explained to me in great detail my options. Once I had enough information I was actually encouraged to take some time to think everything over, and come back if I thought there was something that might work for me.(Not the norm at other dealerships, in my experience) I did some research on my own, thought about everything that was said to me and I bought a 2012 chevy cruze LT that I really like, and am completely satisfied with. Tim and Wes saved me some money and I have a car i continue to be pleasantly surprised by. Outstanding service, good selection, great prices. Can't see why one would go anywhere else. If you're in the market for a used car, visit Brookside. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Normally when rating something I do not give perfect scores but in this case my wife and I cannot find anything worth demoting the Brookside team on. We went to many dealerships new and used looking for a large SUV. After testing driving and running the numbers with most of the dealers we were not impressed and were considering not get anything for now. That all changed when we started working with the Brookside team. They were all polite and professional and very patient with our four energetic kids! Brookside was not our first stop when looking for a vehicle but after getting this vehicle they will be next time.

About 4 months ago I started the process of looking for a used truck. With this being my first ever truck purchase I was not very knowledgeable regarding trucks. I was very skeptical going to some used car dealerships wondering if I would get a quality used truck at a fair price. I was referred to Brookside Motors by a friend. Initially I sat down with Brad Rodger to discuss the make/model truck that would best suit my needs. At this time I was not very serious about buying a used vehicle but was just exploring my options. However a few weeks ago I was sure I wanted a truck and was positive it would be from Brookside Motors. After missing out on a truck at Brookside that I thought was for me Brad and Jim continued to keep their eyes open for the right truck for me. Jim gave me a call on a saturday afternoon to say "Your truck has arrived to Brookside Motors 2 minutes ago." Immediately I drove to the dealership and fell in love with the truck. During the test drive Jim was very friendly, honest, knowledgable and experienced regarding the features on the truck. Two days later I purchased the vehicle. My experience at Brookside Motors was absolutely awesome. Brad and Jim were very friendly and I felt comfortable asking them questions regarding the truck. There was no pressure they let me take my time because as Jim said "I want to put you in the right truck at the right price that fits your needs and budget." They were very honest and open with me regarding my purchase. They bent over backwards to assist me with any concerns I had. Jim Cunningham was our "tour guide" who assisted us in finding the right used vehicle a little less than a month ago, and he provided white glove service! The service was great. I wasn't even looking on buying a car that week i was gonna wait a few weeks. Then Tim approached me and told me about the first time buyers program. Then showed me cars in my price range and the scion caught my eye. I test drove it and couldn't resist the car. I went to look at different dealerships but no one else could match up with brookside's motors program. Every other dealer ships had insane interest rates and cars were way over priced. We went in looking for a truck to pull our camper. We where thinking about diesel but after talking with the salesman they said that for the weight and size we would be good with a v8 rather than diesels. They showed us a few trucks that would fit what we wanted and even a few diesel just do see the difference. The treated us fair from the price of the truck to the price of our trade in. The extended warranty is very nice they didn't try to just sale us one to make money they acutely use it there self on there own vehicles. Would defiantly go back for service, to buy another vehicle and will recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a fair deal and a good sales crew.

After FOUR trips in THREE weeks!!! and having the Service Department's Mgr "Ed" give me a hard time saying their mistakes were NOT THEIR FAULT!! and said I could use my extended warrenty (while the truck was still under their DEALERSHIP WARRANTY!) and then PROMISED!!! I would be reimbursed for the money I spent taking my truck to another shop after the THIRD trip to get a second opinion. (GUESS WHAT, NEVER RECEIVED THAT EITHER!!!). Then the FOURTH trip they had my truck for over a week in which they couldn't even get the correct part needed and decided to fix it?? Ohhh, the owner was soooo nice and promised (AFTER I ASKED!!) to extend the dealership warranty for another two weeks since I didn't have my truck for 2 out of the 4 weeks on the warranty. NOW!!! I have only had my truck for 50 DAYS!!!!!!!!!! and it now, AGAIN!!!, haS to go back into the shop for SOMETHING ELSE that is wrong. (WON'T BE TAKING IT BACK TO THIS SHOP!!) I guess that's what I get for buying from a LEMONADE STAND!!

Spent 8 hours searching for a new van. Started the day at Brookside and then ended at Brookside. Jim was friendly, honest, personable, and not pushy. Let us test drive as many vans as we wanted all with a smile on his face. Didn't even mind our kids tagging along. Bent over backwards to make sure we got a great deal and a great van for our budget without looking down at us for not getting something newer. He kept good contact with us and made sure to get the van serviced in a timely matter. It got detailed and inspected to where everything in the van worked. It's not a Sold-As-Is company. If something needs done or fixed it will be fixed. I've never seen a used car company like this EVER. They make sure you are happy and you drive off the lot with a fully functional vehicle that feels and looks like it's BRAND Spanking NEW. VERY IMPRESSED all around. All the people we had contact with at Brookside from sales to the service dept. were a joy to work with, and very organized. You can see they LOVE what they do and they KNOW what they are doing. Enjoyed this buying experience so much better than any we have ever had in the past. We love our new to us 06 Dodge Caravan.

My husband & I were very pleased with our 1st buying experience at Brookside Motors! Our salesman, Carey, and the whole team there, were so friendly and helpful. What a great selection fo vehicles they have on their lot! We found the exact truck we had been looking for: a 2001 FORD RANGER SUPERCAB XLT (to replace our previous truck which had been "hit and demolished" a few weeks earlier). After weeks of looking and comparing vehicles, we knew it was a pretty fair price they were asking too (however, they still worked with us knowing what insurance had offered us in settlement). Carey was SO organized and KNOWLEDGEABLE, it made the whole process simple! The dealership made sure the truck was serviced & any items needing addressed were. We could tell they took pride in only placing well maintained & serviced vehicles on their lot. They treated us like family, and we were very satisfied. Thanks everyone! The reason why I gave Brookside Motors a GREAT rating in every category is because Carey, Jim and Chuck ALL were GREAT. I was in a very tight spot to be financed for any kind of car let alone the very nice, close to brand new car that they were able to get my fiance and me into. I gave the following rating because Brookside Motors made it very easy to buy a truck and the salesmen do NOT pressure you at all. All of the staff members were very friendly and made you very comfortable while you were at the facility. I had a great buying experience at this dealership. Not your typical dealership. I didn't feel pressured or annoyed by any of the salesman or dealers like I was finding at other dealerships. As a matter of fact, I feel bad that I wasn't my friendly self when I initially walked through the door...but I was already in the defensive, don't -feel-like-dealing with another car dealership mood. My mood did turn around immediately when I realized I was dealing with a totally different kind of dealership. I was in the market for a used Jetta TDI and had done my research and visited other dealerships in Baltimore, MD, where I live. Brookside had the car I wanted and for a good price. I originally spoke to Carey Myers on the phone and told him I was on my way up to see it. When I walked in, I was greeted by a bunch of people. Carey was already busy with a customer so Tim Goelz worked with me. I would like to point out that even though Carey was not the one who eventually sold me the car, he made a point to stop and talked to me many times, offered my fiance and I drinks, and genuinely cared about my buying experience. Tim was great to work with as well. We took the car for a quick test drive...he wasn't try to "sell" the car, but rather made sure it was the right car for me. Totally genuine. I was completely honest that I already knew the car was priced very fairly, but asked Tim if it was possible to come down to a certain price pretty much just to make me feel better because I knew I was also purchasing an extended warranty. I figured it was worth a try...they agreed to it...no haggling...and I felt good making the purchase. All and all...I would recommend this dealership time and time again. I had to leave my car up there to get some work done to the AC. For the inconvenience and because I was bummed that I couldn't bring my car home...they gave me a loaner car until it was done. As soon as it was done (like within two days), they washed it and vacuumed it again and drove it all the way down to Baltimore to me...like an hour and a half drive for them. The service department has exceptional customer service as well. Thanks again Brookside!

I have rated Brookside Motors very high because of the great prices, friendly atmosphere, and absolutely hands down the best service I've ever received on a used vehicle from ANY dealership.I have bought and/or traded 10 vehicles plus 2 motorcycles in my lifetime. I have had horrible experiences and good experiences. Kevin Shiffer and Brookside Motors have changed the car buying game! They have created an Ultra Friendly atmosphere! We were left alone to explore their lot. All the vehicles were unlocked with keys in the visor. This concept made it easy and comfortable for us to make a decision. Plus their prices were unbeatable. There was no reason to haggle, we did our research and knew right away that no one could beat the sticker price.Kevin and the entire staff were absolutely great people. Next time I am in the market for a vehicle, I will only consider Brookside Motors. If they don't have what I'm looking for, then I am sure they will help me find it. There is no reason for me to go anywhere else.

Jim greeted me as soon as I got on the lot, and really helped me get an awesome truck that also worked for my budget. After 5 minutes you would have thought we had known each other for years. I really couldn't be happier with my purchase, especially considering how easy the process was and without all the pressure and aggressiveness you might find at other places. First let me say, this is an easy one! After buying used cars as long as we have, it's does our heart good to know that there's a dealership that actually does what it advertise, Provides great service! this is our tenth used car purchase! As a first time Brookside motors customer it was truly a wonderful experience. Starting with the initial call when we first saw the Cadillac Escalade on cars.com. Though we made calls to four other dealers, getting on the phone with Carey Myers gave us a feeling of comfort. After a two hour ride to the dealership, Carey Greeted our family like he's known us for years. From meeting the manager/owner to the finance manger to the other sales team, everyone was polite, professional and again treated us like we've been customers for years! i enjoyed the friendly environment while shoppping for a new vehicle thanks to brad. i was not hurried into my truck that i chose unlike other dealers. my only dissapointment is i had to change a starter and tire that should have been caught while being serviced but i was refunded just a hassle that shouldnt have happened.overall im very pleased with brookside just not the shop who inspects and works on there vehicles. thank you brad for all your help and hard work keep it up. YES MY NEXT VEHICLE WILL BE BOUGHT AT BROOKSIDE!!

I was looking to get into a new truck and looked for months and just couldn't find the right deal and other dealerships just didn't seem like they had any interest really in wanting to help. So I stopped in at brookeside just to check a couple trucks out and Jim came out and greeted me. In my head I thought the same normal thing was gonna happen where I find a truck I like but I can't get anything for a trade in or they don't wanna work with me. We'll I was wrong! Jim really surprised me he really seemed like he cared and actually wanted to help. He faught hard for me got me a great deal on my trade in where other dealers could have cared less and I got the truck I really wanted and made it afordable for me. The entire team at Brookside is great to work with! When I arrived at Brookside to test drive a 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab it was 7:15p.m. We got back to the dealership from the test drive and the salesman, Tim Goelz asked me "Are you gonna take it home tonight? It was now about 7:40pm and I thought how in the world are they going to get finacing and everything done at this time of night! Well I left with my truck at 9:05pm and they close at 8:00pm, done deal! When I took the truck home the "Brookside Service" and inspection hadn't been done yet. I called the next day and set up an appointment, when I dropped the truck off I was set up with a loaner car. I feel that the Brookside Service team over and above what most used car lots would do, especially considering the truck was already sold. When the time comes for me to buy another vehicle it WILL be bought at Brookside Motors.

My experience with Brookside Motors was the best experience EVER. I have been driving for 30+ years and have lived in Dover for over 20 of those years, and I can't believe that I have never bought a car at this Dealership till now. I purchased a 2007 Toyota Solara convertible from Kevin, and he worked the deal to what "I" was able to handle, and what "I" would be comfortable with; from the monthly payments and terms of the loan, to the warranty coverage and customer service follow thru. I was scared to death to go into a new car situation since I haven't had to do that in over 10 years, but Kevin and all of the guys at Brookside helped me to feel so secure on my decision, that it all just felt soooooo right!! This was honestly by far, the best experience I have ever had buying a car! When I first began looking for a clean used suv,for my wife. I narrowed my search to a specific year, make and model. I stuck to the state of Pennsylvania. Admitedly, still a large search when your looking for a Jeep Grand Cherokee! After several weeks of looking at literally hundreds of Jeeps, using all the typical searches one would use in the used car market, I found Brookside Motors in Dover PA! This,for me,was over 200 miles away...But the Jeep was So Clean...I mean, Absolutely Perfect! The next step was to call...This is usually where the pressure begins. I paused for a moment and mentally considered the possibility of the conversation leading me to Dover. I've got to make the right decision here!... So,I dailed the phone...Carey Myers answered, within a short period of time I could feel something very genuine about Carey that made me comfortable. I knew then, this was the right choice! Honestely, the rest of if was easy and it was fun. Brookside Motors even paid our hotel expense to come to Dover! Upon our arrivial,Carey came outside to greet us. The Jeep was sitting in front of the dealership. It was everything Carey said it was and even prettier in real life. During the test drive, my wife & I shared a nice conversation with,our tour guide/salesman. It was quite apparent that Cary is very knowledgeable and experienced and a great reflection on Brookside Motors. Everyone there was so friendly and we had such a positive experience, we were both a little sad leaving Dover... Guaranteed, The next time we need to replace a vechicle, I will "ABSOLUTELY" not waste any time searching the internet, I will call Brookside Motors First!

The experience I had recently with buying my car from Brookside Motors was amazing! Everyone there is so nice and welcoming, they talk to you like they've known you for years. Best of all though, Brad was the Best salesman that I've ever dealt with. He went way above and beyond to help me get this car, and was so helpful and patient. I loved that he took the extra time to make the whole process goes as smooth as possible. He told me from the beginning that the car he would put me in, would be one that I love, and he was right! I purchased the vehicle I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. There was no haggling on price or my trade-in. The transaction was efficient and professional and my salesman was curteous and knowledgeable. Just walking on to another car lot in the area I was approached by a salesperson by the time I closed my car door. I said I was just looking and the salesperson just kept after me,asking me specific questions and when I said I wasn't sure what I was looking for he just kept after me. To the point I was quite annoyed. His tone was not friendly and even slightly rude. My experience at Brookside was totally the opposite.I stopped by Brookside to simply look to see what was on the lot. Wasn't sure that I wanted to buy anything yet. Jim approached me and asked if there was anything that he could help me with. I explained that I was just looking to see what was there but not sure what I wanted or if I was even looking to buy just yet. Jim said that was fine but he would be happy to show me a few vehicles so that I could maybe get an idea of what I might like. He showed me a few of the vehicles and asked me a few questions but did not pressure me in any way. Jim has a very friendly and easy going way about him. Jim took my phone number so that he could follow up with me in a few days. He followed up but I was still not sure what I wanted to do and Jim was very understanding and again no pressure. When I finally decided I was ready to go look at a specific car and take a test drive Jim was a great help.The rest of the staff at Brookside was a great in helping me get the vehicle. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a car.

Jim was the best salesmen that I've dealt and I would have no qualms with returning to Brookside Motors to buy my next car. He made us feel like family and was extremely receptive to our wants and needs. He has in-depth knowledge and was not 'pushy' like other car salesmen that I've dealt with. I looked at two vehicles while I was there and ended up buying a great truck. Jim gave me many options on extended warranties and explained all the paperwork to me with ease. Second time purchasing a vehicle from Brookside Motors, just like the first time everything was great!!!! customer service here is by far exceptional, really "down to earth" people, everyone we spoke with there was very pleasant. very friendly people all around, if they weren't they wouldnt have the turnover they have. i do a lot of driving for my job and no matter where i go i see their logo on a vehicle. I loved our sales person whom went above and beyond to get us the best deal and when i started looking he picked two vehicles and flat out told me i would like them and i did!!!! they have car faxes there and will answer every question you have.They even go over the car a second time to make sure everything is in good order. My overall experience with Brookside has always been excellent and i would recomend them to anyone, good or bad credit they do everything possible to help you out. If i had anything bad to say about this place it would be the picture they take at the end...lol. all in good fun. i have nothing bad to say, THEY ARE GREAT EVERY TIME I GO, I WILL BE BACK.

The dealer even gave me gas for the drive, a set of brand new tires, detailed the vehicle and the best deal I could find on an extended warranty. If it's Brookside Motors, it's a good deal. My wife & I went to Broodside to look at a used pathfinder. I had spoken with Carey on the telephone earlier that day to get some more detailed information. When we arrived at the dealership Carey meet us outside the dealership shortly after getting out of our vehicle, this was impressive since we had never meet in person before. Just a note during our phone conversation we did discuss the possible trade of the vehicle we were driving when we arrived, never the less he came to us and introduced himself & offered his assistance. We drove the pathfinder we were interested in, then proceded to discuss values. They drove our vehicle, then we discussed trade in value. We came to an agreement on price, by now it was getting close to closing. Carey asked if wanted to take the vehicle along that night, we stated we would return the next day to pick up the vehicle. Both Carey & Wes stated they would stay & complete all of the paperwork that evening if we would like so it would take less time when we came to pick up the vehicle. We agreed that would work out much better. They stayed as addidional 2 hours to complete the paperwork & Wes worked throughly to get the payment in the range we advised him we wanted to be, & was able to include a additional warranty package.During our time there all of the other sales reps. were very nice & communitive, discussing other vehicles & informative when we had any question. The co-owner was there & thanked us for stopping by & checking the inventory of the lot, {prior to the agreement of the sale}. During our wait we were offered beverages, & snacks while we were waiting for the preperation of the paperwork.When we returned to pick up our new/used vehicle everyone was as plesant as the previous night & aided in transfering items from our trade vehicle to our purchased vehicle, [such as license plates & any ohter items we wanted assistance with]. We also discussed another vehicle on the lot & test drove it at that time but the tow capacity was found to be a little light for our present needs. So they will let me know if they get something I am looking for in inventory.An added note, my wife & I went & looked at the vehicle the night before when the dealership was closed along with several others at other lots. So we already knew which dealerships we wanted to visit. Also I have alread checked the values through Kelley Blue Book of the vehicles we were interested in as well as the trade value of our vehicle. I was impressed that when it came time to discuss price they were comparing they value of our vehicle & theirs using the same book. Not like alot of dealerships they use one book to get the value of their vehicle & then another book {ex. Black Book to get the trade in value}. They were very straight forward on all points of the sale vehicle & our trade.I have already recommended Brookside to our family & we will buy there again. I had a great experience with Brookeside motors. They are really friendly, make you feel comfortable, and let you test any vehicle you see on the lot. Jim is the gentleman I recommend. Well he is really the only one i talked to, but he did a great job finding the car for me. I would recommend everyone to Brookeside for a vehicle. When you walk into the sales department you get greeted with smiles and hellos. As your being helped they offer you a variety of sodas and water. Im very impressed. Being a widow, I appreciated the kind and professional attention I was given, before and after the sale. The additional warrantee that was made available to me gave me a great sense of security knowing if any thing went wrong I would be protected. David is a very thoughtful and accomodating person. Going the extra mile for his customers is the norm for him.He always takes the time to explain and answer all of my questions no matter how silly they may be. Kevin made this the easiest car buying process I have ever been through. This is my 8th vehicle believe it or not and the first to ever be bought at a dealer. He was friendly. I have recently bought 2 cars from Brookside and after buying the first car I was a little less than satisfied. Not because of the car itself as it was in excellent condition, but the first car just didn't give me the feel that I wanted. Afterwards I went back in and asked if it was possible to trade back the car. (full well knowing the real answer) What I didn't expect was the fact that they did in fact bend over backwards to make me happy. They agreed to take the car back in trade with the fact known that I would take a loss on it however I had another old car back at the house that i took advantage of getting rid of and walked away with two cars at a very reasonable price. Long story short I walked away very happy. I would suggest this dealership to anyone.

I was lucky enough to speak with Dave when I came to brookside. He was very easy going and not pushy whatsoever. He looked at things from my point of view, not just trying to make a sale. Buying a vehicle at Brookside is as easy as 1.2.3. The guys are great to deal with - very friendly without the typical car salesman pressure. The inventory is always top notch and you can review the inventory online if you don't feel like driving over. Kevin and Wes made it possible for me to purchase my second vehicle from Brookside and I couldn't be more happy with my new Nissan! My dad introduced me to Brookside after making a purchase from them and I will be introducing my daughter to Brookside when she's ready to purchase a vehicle. It's a family thing! I visited Brookside Motors looking to purchase one car and ended up buying two. Jim Cunningham was very helpful working the deal as I had very little time to discuss the details the Saturday I visited the dealership. Since I was working out of town at the time he contacted me the following Monday morning with a price and delivery that was acceptable to both me and my wife. I was able to take delivery of the vehicles the following Saturday with the help of Wes Myers and Jim. Jim even delivered one of the vehicles to my home. I went and found a great looking Hundai Sante Fe in my price range so I met with David Ishler and told him that I was looking to trade 2 vehicles for a nice SUV and that I really liked the looks of that car. At the time, I was driving a Ford Explorer 4WD and really didn't have a need for it besides the fuel economy was really poor. I just pulled into Brookside Motors to see what they had on the lot that I might like to trade for. Almost immediately Mr. Cunningham asked if there was anything in particular that I wanted to look at. He showed me a few small cars then a two-door Nissan Altima that we took out for a test ride. It was really nice but I'm 72 years old and decided that a 4-door would serve my purposes a lot better. We went back and got another 09 Nissan Altima 4-dr sedan and went out again. That sold me right away. An hour or so later I was on my way home with the Nissan. Its really a nice car, so easy to drive and my fuel mileage just increased two and a half times. Mr Cunningham was very professional and courteous. He answered all my questions about the vehicle, explained the warranty items and maintenance requirements.

My husband and I were looking for an SUV .My options were limited as far as what we were looking for and price.When we arrived James couldn't have been more freindly.Wanting to put us in a car that we be happy with.I liked the Dodge Durangos and drove them both.Before we left that evening James came out to tell us that the one had some rust underneath.So he talked to me the next day via text and said that one was 2 bad underneath and wanted to know what we thought of the Chrysler Aspen.i told him it was nice but out of our price range.He was going over some other options so when we came up later we had some more options to look at.By the time I arrived it seemed my husband had driven the Aspen and loved it.James spent hrs w/ us both nights and kept saying I want to put you in a car you will be happy in.Brookside has a great reputation from people I have spoken to.I will definetly recomend to anyone that is looking come there first and see my buddy James of course.!!James you are a great salesman and right away felt like an old freind we had lots of fun dealing w/you.By the way we love the Aspen and better yet so do my kids.!!!

My fience and I have bought two cars from Brookside now. They are so pleasant to work with and honestly do care about you more than the money. Bought an 07 Grand Cherokee Overland Edition. After 10 weeks of searching high and low as well as test driving dozens of vehicles at multiple places, Brookside made it incredibly easy. My husband and I saw a vehicle we were interested in but it had been sent out to get repaired. We waited almost 2 weeks until another almost identical vehicle came in only this one was a year newer with 10,000 less miles. David worked with us to get this newer one at a price we were comfortable with. He seemed very knowledgeable about the vehicle and was very down to earth, not pressuring or pestering at all. The evening we took it home we had a "dashboard malfunction" but we called the next day and they took care of the problem right away. Even the service guy was nice and helpful. We were so happy to get this vehicle and David and Wes were super to work with. We feel they went above and beyond to make it happen. We would definitely buy another car from them and recommend them to everyone.

He had the most friendliest personality and I felt like....Yeah, this guy has a warm & concerning personality. This was a no BS low pressure friendly sale. The sales lot was very clean and organized with every vehicle open for inspection. Every person I had contact with was friendly and helpful. Kevin was in no hurry and tried to answer all my questions to the best of his ability. I ended up driving away with a very nice loaded 2007 Trailblazer at an extremely good price.

We live about 4.5 hours away from the dealership. Before going, David sent videos of the two trucks we were interested in. David and Wes went above and beyond. We took our daughter and her 4 year old son with us. Our daughter test drove a vehicle and purchased one also. During the paperwork phase, the other salesmen actually got down on the floor and played with our grandson and put cartoons on the TV for him. The entire staff was extremely helpful and friendly. One of the salesmen looked up directions for me and printed them off!! We highly recommend this dealership!! It's well worth the drive from anywhere. THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.

My driver side window broke over my lunch hour and when i called they got me right in checked my car out to see what was wrong and if the problem was covered under my warranty. within 10 minutes i had all my questions answered. i was treat great and my services was done perfect. they even got me back to work till my car was ready. i had all repairs done within 2hours. couldn't thank them enough.

I had brought my trailblazer in to have its brakes fixed. When I arrived I also had my sienna with me so my mom could get myself and my children back home. A salesman, Jim, had come out of the sales building to see about sell me a new vehicle because he noticed the sienna did not have working air conditioning. To his dismay I was not interested in trading my sienna in. However, instead of leaving me to go back in the sales building because he couldn't make a sale,he asked me if I wanted my air conditioning. When I said yes, but I was going to put it off for now, I asked him what they would charge me. Not only did he get me a price, but he found that they could get me in right then and there. He also made sure I understood what they were doing and was very patient to explain it to me. The service department was great. They got my trailblazer and my sienna done that same day. I didn't even have a scheduled appointment for either vehicles. Their customer service was outstanding as well. I was also given a loaner car to use since both my vehicles were in their shop.Brookside Motors has excellent customer service in both their sales department and their auto repair department. I would highly recommend Brookside Motors to everyone. Thanks for everything Brookside you were wonderful!!!

I was shopping for a nice used SUV and seen the 2001 ford expedition advertised in a auto shopping book. I stopped by with my trade in vechicle knowing what I wanted to spend we worked a deal fairly quickly. Follow up service after the sale also great I had a problem with powere mirror not working all the time,called and explained my problem was advised to bring Expedition back and they would look at it, which they did and have not had a problem with it since. Still own the Expedition will look to Buy from AGAIN

I always use and refer brad as the salesman that has always been there to help me or anyone that I send there. I make my appointments with Robin as she always gets me in on a timely manner when I need service and Sam always fixes my vehicles and charges me a fair price. They were very friendly and never pushy when it came to our purchase of a vehicle. They even helped us locate a vehicle at a neighboring dealership (Thorton in Manchester) which had what we were looking for and we were given a Carfax as well. It was very thoughtful of them to send out birthday cards, a nice touch. One of our vehicles needed to be serviced and I thought it was going to be rather expensive, but it turned out to be a lot less than I expected.

Friendly and welcoming business. Nobody was pushy and pressured us for a sale. Dave worked with us to find the right vehicle and price. He also helped us out after the sale with getting a second key at no cost. We got phone calls and letters after the purchase to see how we liked the car.
