This is the fifth Toyota I've purchased from Sunrise Toyota, so I guess I would have to be known as favorably biased. Not true however because it should have been my sixth. This latest purchase experience was very favorable. My salesman Ahmed Edwards did a great job in supporting my stated vehicle desires and was always willing to go the extra step to answer my many many questions. The management, insurance and finance staff were all easy to work with and very knowledgable and accommodating. My new vehicle was delivered as promised and in excellent condition. I don't really understand the big Chicken - should be replaced with our Eagle!

Bob Bothmand was our salesman. Our sales experiance was good traded in a Honda didn't think get as much as I thought it was worth but it was pretty used. Bob Bothmann did a great job. We were in and and out of the door with a 2016 Highlander in 2.5 hours.We would recommend Bob.BothMann and Sunrise Toyota anytime.

We had visited several dealerships before coming to Sunrise. We knew the type of car, color combination, and packages & options that we were looking for.We were usually told that the year is almost over and we should settle for what's available. After meeting and talking to Bob Bothmann, we were convince that we found the right salesman. It was a pleasure to talk to him. He was relaxed and took his time to answer all our questions. He knew the RAV4 inside out and was not pushy. He said he would get back to us in a few days. Sure enough, within days we got a call that he found the car and it would be ready in a few days. Needless to say we were quite happy and we love our car. Bob Bothmann is the best!

From beginning to End, Sunrise Toyota provided my mother and I with a wonderful car buying experience. The salesman we worked with, Miguel, helped my mom narrow down her choice of vehicle based upon her needs and from there, the rest of our car leasing adventure was easy. Miguel gave us a full tour of the vehicle and helped us sort out the often complicated and wordy world of Special Packages, Pricing, and Leasing. He identified the facets of finding a new vehicle that were important for our specific circumstances and worked with us tirelessly to secure the deal. He was extraordinarily patient, respectful, and knowledgeable. Above this, Miguel (and the rest of Sunrise Toyota) were highly professional and courteous, and placed no pressure on us to buy. Unlike the traditional horrors of car buying and dealing with shady car salesmen, Sunrise Toyota provided us with a truly pleasant car buying experience. Even a few weeks after driving away in our new vehicle, Miguel is still receptive to questions and concerns that we have. Miguel is the best car salesman I've ever dealt with (and I've dealt with quite a few).

I bought 3 cars from Sunrise Toyota Scion and have been so pleased every time! Everyone in there including the girls at the desk,sales people walking by and even the man cleaning the floors smile and say hello. They put themselves out to make you feel special! I've never seen that in any other dealership. The sales staff knock themselves out trying to give you the best deal possible. I also love the service dept. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else! Five stars is not enough for Sunrise Toyota they deserve 10 all the way!

I came in with my 2013 Camry to have a routine inspection done. While waiting, Efrain informed me that they had a really amazing deal on a trade in on that year Camry. He explained how it would work, and took me to go see some of the newer model cars. I told him which ones I liked and what I was looking for . He came back with some exciting news; he found a car he thought would be perfect and I would still stay in the payment bracket I had set up. The car he found for me was even better than the one I had chosen as my "top" pick. Efrain was so amazing answering all the questions I had. He made the transition smooth and easy. When I went to sign all the papers, I was even more excited to see Jason in finance (he had sold me my first Camry!!) That feeling of seeing the people who had helped you the first time buying your first car, and then helping with your second car will be the reason I will always come back. They are a great team here. Thank you Toyota :)

After many days of car shopping at many dealerships, we came across Robert Parnagian at Sunrise Toyota. Robert was friendly, honest, knowledgeable and patient. All the traits I hope for in a sales person. I never felt rushed or pressured and Robert patiently showed us as many cars as we wanted to see. Even after we had committed to a purchase and were going through the prep and finance phases, Robert did not disappear. He was always close by communicating with his coworkers to make sure everything was moving smoothly. When the vehicle was ready to go, Robert meticulously inspected the car with us and took the time to demonstrate all of the features and controls. When I told him that I had old plates that I had to return to the DMV he immediately offered to personally return them for me.

Came in on a Friday to test drive an FJ Cruiser. I was greeted by Ira F. in a very friendly manner. I knew I liked him right away. I stated I liked the FJ but have never been in one and wanted to take a test ride to see if I would like it. We went for the ride. I loved the truck but it had too many miles for me. He told me another FJ just came in with low mileage and was in service to get certified. He took me to see it. I usually do not like white and I loved it. I came back Saturday to test drive that vehicle. It was beautiful, liked the ride, it was for me. I was very nervous, I never purchased a used car before and for me it was a lot more than I expected to spend. Ira was very comforting, upfront, honest and was not pressuring at all. I told him I couldn't give him an answer that evening,I need to think it over since it was such a big purchase. He assured me that was fine until one manager passed by and said I needed to leave a deposit or the car would be gone the next day and kept walking. That was the first time I felt pressured. Ira went and spoke to manager Brian, they both assured me that I had Brian's word that he would hold the car until Sunday morning. Texting with Ira on Sunday, I told him I wanted the white FJ. I went in and left my deposit. Previous commitments, I could not stay and finalize everything. Ira and Brian again assured me everything that was in the truck was being sold in the truck and would not be taken out.(touch screen stereo, put in by previous owner). I came back Monday and sealed the deal. Ira came in Monday on his day off to make sure everything went smooth and I was able to take my truck home. He stayed with me every step of the way. I was still nervous, he kept assuring me everything was fine. When finance part was done we went over the vehicle. The only problem was the back up camera on the touch screen radio all of sudden on Monday did not work, when it was previously working Saturday and Sunday. Brian and Ira were working with service to fix it. It was getting late and they were not able to figure out what was wrong and fix it at that time. Ira had an order written up that I would have to go back to have it fixed. No big deal. Dispite that, I had a pleasant buying experience with Ira F . This is coming from someone who does not like car shopping. Go see Ira F. at Sunrise Toyota, you will feel like you knew him forever. Thanks again, Dena D.

I was looking for a safe vehicle for my daughter who goes to college upstate in snow country. While ambling through the used car's Mr.Parnaigian approached me and introduced himself and asked if he could assist me. I stated that I was browsing and told him what I was looking for and why. So when I went to Sunrise Toyota I did feel any different when I went there, but with-in 10 mins of being with our salesmen I knew I was going to buy a car that day because how comfortable he made us feel right away. Went into Sunrise with no intention to purchase a vehicle. We were just browsing for a vehicle that will be used for long commutes. Immediately we were greeted by Robert and he offered us some assistance. We declined and he said that is OK and he will be inside should we need anything. Noticing that we were surrounding a particular Corolla, Robert came outside and asked if we wanted to go over the vehicle. We decided sure why not...the online price was good and the car looked real good for the mileage. Long story cut a bit short, we ran some numbers at the online internet price and closed the deal 2 hours later. Very satisfied with the service, the honesty and swift nature in which everyone operated!

I'm very pleased by Sunrise Toyota. Ahmed Edwards was my salesman and he granted every promise he made. He promised I would get the best deal and service. I went to a total of 4 dealerships and Sunrise Toyota beat them all. Not only did they beat them but, they offered extra accessories for my car!Joshua Edwards and Meredith Ventura did the finance and, they gave me a positive outlook to dealerships. They were able to reverse a hiccup I had but, what was very impressive is that it was something other dealerships would have never done for me nor my family. When Joshua tells you he will get something done, he really means it and, he sticks to his word till the very end.I literally have a dealership less then 2 miles away from my home and because, of the great customer service I received from Ahmed, Meredith and Joshua, I will be driving 17 miles every time to get my service done at Sunrise. Easy!My family and I are very happy and I highly recommend Sunrise Toyota.Tip: If you do get a better price at another dealership, let Sunrise Toyota know and, they will beat them in some shape or form. I almost made that mistake but, luckily Ahmed kept in contact with me and, with the help of Joshua they beat a competitors price. My exact words "when can I come in?"

Purchased a new 4Runner Limited from Sunrise Toyota recently. Bob Bothmann was my sales representative and I dealt with Meredith in finance. I was given a good price for the 4Runner and a great price for my trade. Not once was I hassled or pressured to make a decision or leave a deposit. When I decided to purchase the vehicle it was brought around for me to inspect to make sure I was getting everything I expected. I was then shown a completed sales form agreement listing the out the door cost of the vehicle. The number on the sales form agreement matched exactly what they quoted me on the phone. Only after I agreed was asked for a deposit. I picked up the car the following day. The car was washed, detailed and fully gassed up. Bob went over the entire vehicle with me again to make sure I was satisfied. I finished up with Meredith in the finance office. Thanks to Bob and Meredith for the best car new car buying experiences Ive had. Cheers!

I recently purchase a 2013 Toyota Tundra at Sunrise Toyota. Ira Feinberg the salesman was very helpful as was Cathy in finance dept. They detailed the truck out like new including the pick up bed. This was my first time at a Toyota dealer since around 1998 and I was apprehensive as I am usually only a Chevy guy. But Ira made me feel welcome right away. I wanted to buy local to support my community rather then out of state and Sunrise Toyota was the right place to pick. Buying a truck is a commitment I have my current Silverado 14 years and I usually hold onto cars and trucks for a very long time. The Toyota Tundra should serve me well for many years to come.

The car is fantastic! We've already taken it on a long trip and were very pleased with its performance.The showroom is spectacular! The building is large, open and very bright. He went out of his way to make sure the pre owned Prius that I purchased had floor mats, which weren't there when I first looked at it. Ben from Financing was also great! Very thorough in his description of the warranty options and loan options. Much better than what I have experienced in the past at other dealerships. I have been attempting to speak with Lisa Lomenzo in regards to a vehicle I had purchased in 2013 in regards to cancelling a warranty. She is the rudest human I have ever spoken to, when she actually answers. I have been attempting to get answers for 4 months now until a phone call today where so told me to go f*** myself. I've never been treated so discrecptfully by a customer service manager, she would be fired. I would advise going to any other dealership than this one because after your out the door they do not care about anything to need.

Steve Giorgio helped my husband and I look for a new Truck. We were a little anxious looking for a new vehicle that was both safe for our family with a new baby but also affordable. This is the second time in the last few months that our family has leased a car from Sunrise Toyota, although our relationship with the dealership dates back to 1990, when we first met Bruce Rabin. I cannot say enough good things about Bruce, who after so many years, feels more like family than a business relationship. We are grateful for the assistance of Mike Coltellino during our last two visits. He assisted not only my daughter with her first car back in November, but myself as well this past weekend, when I leased a 2016 Highlander. He was extremely helpful in familiarizing us with the features of each car, and was kind enough to set up the Bluetooth on both my daughter's and my car. He spent a great deal of time showing us how to use the GPS, as well as the other equipment. Mike made sure that both of us were comfortable with the vehicles before leaving the dealership. We look forward to dealing with Mike in the future.

Everything about my experience at Sunrise Toyota/Scion was excellent. I couldn't believe how easy they made the car buying process. Efrain was great, he was straight forward and knowledgeable about the car while never pushing me into any certain direction. I chose buying my car from Efrain at Sunrise Toyota/Scion after visiting two other dealers. No one made me feel as comfortable while still getting me the car I wanted and a fair trade in value. Seriously highly recommend you go and ask for Efrain though!

I came in with my beat up clunker which was really worth nothing and they still gave me $1000 so that I can use as a trade because I had no money to put down on the deal.They put me in an assume Toyota Prius.So happy because now I can drive on the HOV lane. I actually did not purchase a car. I purchased my Camry from Sunrise Toyota eight years ago and had it serviced there regularly. I just sold it back to the dealer. Bruce was great and made the whole process smooth and easy. Yes, he offered to sell me a new car, but my family is downsizing and did not intend to replace the vehicle. There was no pressure to buy anything. It took less than an hour to get the car tested, appraised, and all of the paperwork filled out. I've had nothing but the best experiences for the past eight years at Sunrise Toyota.

This was my first time buying a new car before this I always had older cars I didn't care about so I was nervous about finally commiting to a car payment and new car.. Also I had heard horror stories about working with car salesman and them being super pushy. I have to say NONE of that happened at sunrise Toyota I had an amazing salesman named Mike coltellino. He was very polite and not pushy at all and he was very knowledgable about all the cars we looked at. He made this whole experience a lot less stressful then j thought it would be. I can say now that I am the proud owner of a new Corolla and I have Mike coltellino to thank for that. I highly recommend sunrise Toyota and highly recommend Mike coltellino as a saleman!!!

Just picked up a new 2016 Highlander Limited on Saturday, 2/20/16. Bruce Levine was my salesman and Marty Cosimo was the business manager I dealt with. From the initial conversations I had with Bruce on the phone, right on through delivery, everything about this buying process was as pleasant and professional as possible. The car was detailed beautifully and was ready for me to review in their indoor delivery area. Bruce provided the most thorough delivery of any vehicle I have ever purchased (I've purchased about 12 vehicles including Audi, Mercedes, Infiniti and Acura and this put them to shame). Marty was quick and efficient with the paperwork. . Thirty miles is kind of a long way to go to buy a car when you are in the New York metropolitan area (there were at least 4 dealers that were closer to my home) but it was well worth it.

Stephen Giorgio was very helpful and not pushy when I inquired about the new Rav 4 Hybrid. Itook a test drive in the gas Rav and really liked it. The new Rav hybrid was not available immediately, but, it would be soon. Stephen said he would get in touch with me as soon as it arrived. Long story short, A Rav 4 Hybrid was being delivered as Stephen and i were discussing my decision. We closed the deal and Stephen showed me the "bells and whistles" on the vehicle. He was a pleasure to deal with!I was actually able to leave the dealership with the new vehicle.

Bruce Levine sold me my new 2016 Camry and he was absolutely great! I have purchased many cars at sunrise and Bruce's service was the best I have every experienced. I would highly recommend him. He was friendly, direct and receptive to what I wanted. I also changed my insurance from Geico to Allstate because they gave me a much better deal and the sales representative from Allstate (Lois) was excellent! The only suggestion I can make to sunrise is to decrease wait time for people purchasing cars. I arrived at 11am and everything was completed at 6pm which ended up being a long day with a 20 month old.

After I decided to purchase the car, they were so careless on my paperwork and on the next steps.Sales guy(Qing)was too busy to sell cars to other customer and did not pay attention to my paperwork. I waited long time for my paperwork to be prepared. Then, when I went there to sign the final paperwork, they made me wait another 2-3 hours even though I told them to prepare everything before I go there because I was coming from Manhattan. It was very late when I was done signing the papers. Well, I thought I am finally done with these people, Last week I received a quick call saying they did make a mistake and put a wrong VIN number on my final sale papers. He sounded like this is not a big deal, sign the papers and send back to us. So, every paper I have has a wrong VIN number, I have been driving with wrong title and etc. Horrible sales experience I had with this dealership and still dealing with all the issues this is causing me right now. I cannot drive the car I am paying as do not have the write papers and will not have at least for 2 weeks. They should pay more attention and care about every each of their customers in every step of the purchase. I remember last time I bought a car, they were calling me even asking if I have any issues or questions on my new car and etc. after months of the purchase. Very very dissapointed and frasturated....

I came into Sunrise Toyota to inquire about leasing a new Toyota Rav 4. I was greeted by Stephen Giorgio. I have to say Stephen is deffinetaly not your "typical" salesmen. Stephen was not pushy at all. He actually took the time to make sure I got what I wanted in my new vehicle. I did shop around a little before going to Sunrise Toyota but I new once I got there and met with Stephen I new that was the place I was going to get my new Rav. We were in the market for a new car that would last 10 years with little trouble. We decided on a Sunrise Toyota since Bob was recommended to us by our mechanic. We were not disappointed! Bob is a great guy! He answered all our questions without any "salesman" talk or convincing. It was a great experience! My husband (VERY tough to impress) LOVED Bob. Was the only person who he would talk to, SO when we ended up needing to buy a used car at the same time we were buying a new car, we went to Bob. Bob was actually on vacation when we decided and we waited for him to return so we could deal with him. 2 cars, 1 great salesman! :) Haven't used service yet, but if it is as great as Bob, we will be very happy!

Purchased a Toyota Highlander from Sunrise Toyota. We came in in August to purchase a 2015 model. Unfortunately, delays in production meant we didn't get our car until mid November. The dealer was very apologetic and made every effort to keep us informed. Ultimately, we received a 2016 model year vehicle for no additional cost. We also enjoyed working with the finance manager, Josh Roberts, who helped us get the best possible rate, as well as the in house insurance agent. All over a fantastic experience.

Two months ago I purchased a used Tacoma from Neil Weissman at sunrise toyota. When we made the deal the tacoma's the tailgate was supposed to be repaired and the pin-striping removed. I called the day I was to pick up the truck to confirm that it was ready, but when I got there neither of the two things were done.Even though the truck was not ready I foolishly believed Mr. Weissman when he assured me that " he gets them in all the time and he would replace the tailgate as soon as he get one that matches"That changed to "it may take a few weeks" when i asked him to put it in writing.But Mr. Weissman did not want to put in writing because "even though he does stuff like this all the time it would cost him his job if the owner found out" so we went back and forth for almost two hours. Finally Mr Weissman did write me a note and I agreed that I would give him up to two months to fulfill his promise.I tried calling him a few times, and when I did finally manage to catch him, he explained that he had " no reason to return my calls because he did not have any news"After two months I gave up and had it repaired locally. I then sent an email to Mr. Weissman, copying Bruce Rabin the general manager. Mr. Rabin called and told me he was very upset and would come up with some type of resolution. He promised to call me back on 9/24, he did not. Then he was going to call me on 9/25, he did not. Finally he was going to call on 9/28, he did not. Sunrise toyota is exactly what we think of when we hear the term used car salesman.

Bought a new Highlander from Sunrise Toyota, and after the hassle of going through the buying process one headache after another. Went to pick it up car, was still wet from a terrible wash job , inside windows were never cleaned, little stickers all over, looked like a rush job to get it delivered and off there lot. You would think after spending 45k on a vehicle it would be in showroom condition, well that's what I would think.

We settled on Sunrise Toyota after endless days of combing New Jersey and New York City for a Toyota dealer with a good deal on a Camry lease. After much trial and error, we decided to give up on NJ and NYC, and drive 65 miles out to Oakdale, Long Island, to see if Sunrise Toyota would really make good on a lease deal advertised online. While the other dealers treated us impatiently (like we are difficult people to deal with -- simply because we're interested in understanding how pricing is calculated), all of the personnel and managers we dealt with at Sunrise were patient and supportive, and more than willing to work with us to ensure we understood everything. Everyone was respectful and willing to go that extra mile to make sure we were comfortable with the vehicles available on the lot, and with the offer. This is our first Toyota, and after this experience with Sunrise, we plan on staying with them forever; it was an amazing one-stop-shopping experience. Thank you, Efrain, David, Erik, and Mr. Rabin! Ive been doing business with Sunrise Toyota for 38 years, since my first new automobile purchase in 1977. After all these years, Im disappointed in my recent experience in purchasing a 2015 Toyota Highlander. Its obvious that now, as a large dealership, they no longer care about customer experience. Their number one goal is sales volume, so if you don't like the bums rush or if you want something thats not ready from the sales floor, there are plenty more suckers behind you. This is the attitude.The salesman, Sergio Eguiarte, never followed up or returned my calls. He lied about options and delivery dates and generally couldnt be bothered. I guess he doesnt understand that the automobile business is, like most businesses in the new economy, customer driven and based on referrals, loyalty and customer experience. You can buy cars through COSTCO or through any dealership you want. Why settle for an inferior purchasing experience?I only heard from the General Manager (Bruce Rabin) after I wrote a letter to Toyota Headquarters describing my experience at Sunrise Toyota. After yessing me for the whole conversation, he said, I will take care those issues, right now. I visited the dealership interested in a used Toyota Tacoma, the vehicle is full of scratches, interior smells bad ( smoker), dirty( outside). Vehicle had a list of recalls , replaced chassis and leaf springs, rust Saleman (Will), treat me like a I was his buddy from High School, condescending ( No respect) and then they t lowball me in the trade in. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish that I could give this dealership 0 stars. Nevertheless, I want people to be careful with the dealership. They are frauds. My sales person was Jason Jautze and the finance manager was Lisa Lomenzo. They both seemed very nice that first and I was content with the car. However, a week after I got the car the defogger was not working and the passenger airbag light came on. I contacted the dealership and they advised me to make an appointment with the service department to get it fixed. I made the appointment, took a day off from work to the car to be fixed. When I got there they said because the car is a Nissan and they are a Toyota dealership, (Lisa said) they would have to send it to a Nissan dealership for it to be fixed and it might take up to 2 weeks. Lisa advised me that I should take the car directly to the Nissan dealership and they would be able to fix it. I figured that it makes sense since I would be able to get the car fixed faster without waiting and I was not going to drive back to the Toyota dealership since it is very far away from where I live (50 Miles away). I took it to Nissan dealership on Northern Blvd. (they were very nice and professional), when I got there the, the service department said that my factory warranty expired at 38,000 miles and I would have to pay for the service by the hour ($275.00 per hour). I took the car and they fixed the problem but I had to pay to get it done. 3 months later, the car have been giving me some trouble that even the dealer cannot fix because they cannot detect the problem. I got so tired of trying to fix the problem that I decided that I will trade the car into a dealership that I live next to and get another car that is not a LEMON. I took the car to get appraised by an Acura dealership since I was trading in to get an ACURA. The guy appraised the car $3,000 less than what I bought it for. I figured that it was a good deal and I didnt mind losing the $3,000 because I didnt want to spend a lot of money every day trying to fix a problem that no one can fix. HERE IS WHERE THE REAL PROBLEM CAME IN THAT MADE ME WRITE THIS REVIEW, the ACURA dealership decided to pull a Carfax for the car. The car faxed showed that the car was owned by two owners and had two prior ACCIDENTS. The Carfax that was given to me when I bought the car had one owner and no accidents which made me buy the car. However, this is when it all came back to me, when I had asked for the Carfax at Sunrise Toyota, they said that their system was down and was unable to retrieve the Carfax. We came up with the agreement that since they couldnt get the car inspected because it was Sunday. Jason volunteered to drive the car down to queens where they have another dealership in Forest Hills and we will finalize the paperwork so I made a down payment and again took another day off to pick up the car. When I got there he left the Carfax in the backseat of the car. Either the Carfax had been tampered with or it was an incomplete Carfax (which I was unaware of until now). Please keep in mind that this is my first car that I am buying at a dealership!!!! I have proof of phone calls, voice messages and emails requesting the car fax and the problems the car had when I had to make an appointment with the dealership. This dealership does not care about the buyer once they make a sale. I was given one set of keys for my car. Jason said that he would check to see if they have another and send it to me. I have made multiple attempts trying to contact the dealer. However, I always get the receptionist and she always tell me that Lisa and Jason are busy with customers or Jason is out in the lot and she cannot locate him, the receptionist said that she will give him the message and he will contact me. I have copies of all email, phone call, text and voicemail. I am now taking this to the next level and consult a lawyer in this matter since I have all the proof I need to start a case since I am stuck with a lemon and the car is not worth much.

I had shopped around but went back to Sunrise to make the deal. Mike Coltellino was our salesman and he was very nice, patient, knowledgeable, and not pushy. He gave us a great deal. When we went back to pick up our Sienna, it was ready to go. Leigh in financing had all the paperwork ready for signing and we were out very quickly. We never felt pressured or rushed. I brought my 2007 Tundra in for warranty service. The gas pedal needed to be changed. They put the wrong pedal in twice so this took three visits. The first visit also resulted in my bumper being dented which they tried to deny.After much fighting they finally replaced it. Later on the truck died in my driveway. After keeping the truck for twelve days they tried to bill me almost $600 for a warranty job. Again after much arguing they gave me the truck back at no cost. This time they damaged my brush guard and refused to accept any responsibility. I will never use this dealership again and I strongly recommend others stay away.

Steve was great! We couldn't be any happier with a sales person. He's honest, trust worthy, very helpful. As long as he's at Sunrise Toyota, he will be our sales man. He checked on the vehicle during the cold spell and noticed a crack going up the window and had it replace. When I got home, I noticed that there were new tires on the vehicle. When my husband and I first went to Sunrise Toyota, we had a bad experience with Kevin Giron. He is cocky and not a good sales person. I think his cockiness was brought about because of his recent promotion. He didn't let me explain what we wanted and he keep saying "then go with your bank" because of what my bank told me we should expect and accept during the negotiation for the new car we wanted to purchase. Isn't the customer always right?When we walked out the door after I refused to speak to the supervisor because Kevin Giron probably gave him his story, Bruce Rabin came out to us and apologize and told us that he would take care of us. Bruce is very nice and professional. He introduced us to Steve Gonzalez to help execute the sale. LOVED Steve. He is very knowledgeable, honest and a great sales person. My husband liked him too. It was easy to trust him.We were also introduced to the Finance Manager Benjamin M. Cella. A very nice, knowledgeable person.I am a nice person and my husband is much nicer than me. If I feel you are treating me the wrong way or disrespecting, I am going to let you know. Unfortunately, Kevin's attitude was the wrong attitude and he was not nice. My husband who is very laid back and super nice and patient thought that Kevin was being very annoying by repeating what I said above and being arrogant.I would have rated everything GREAT if I had dealt with Bruce and Steve when we first visited Sunrise Toyota!!!!

The sales person that I worked with was wonderful. The finance deal we agreed at our initial meeting was not what we got in the end though. The finance person I dealt with initially was professional and seemed to know what he was doing. During the "paperwork" meeting I pointed out an error he had made which was in my favor. He reduced the price of the car by an amount he shouldn't have. i told him there was an error but didn't tell him what it was, but he couldn't figure it out and I said fine, let's sign the paperwork. We did and I left happy. All's fair in love and war, they aren't gonna tell me I'm overpaying right and I was able to recoup the $400 they tacked on for registration so I was content. A week or so later, I got a call from the finance person I dealt with saying there was a problem with the paperwork and that I needed to call. I returned the call twice and never heard back. Then I received a voicemail from Lisa Lomenzo asking I sign and return paperwork cancelling our initial deal which increased the residual value of the car. I immediately called Toyota credit to verify everything was OK as I'd already paid my first month's payment and they said it was. Wanting to find out what all the calls were about, I finally got Lisa Lomenzo on the phone. She lied and said the finance person entered the depreciation twice therefore reducing the residual value(pay-off at the end of the lease). She basically tried to confuse me with a bunch of garbage and it didn't work. I told her this was crazy and she accused me of calling her crazy and stupid and claimed she couldn't be stupid because she was the finance director at two Toyota dealers. Uhhh...Since when does your title make you smart? I would have re-signed and cancelled the initial paperwork, but she not only lied to me about the reason (they clearly messed up) but she insulted me as well on the phone and then hung up after spewing multiple profanities and basically telling me I was a bad person for getting a good deal. I would NEVER recommend anyone ever buy a car from this place and specifically would never deal with Lisa Lomenzo. I was amazed how unprofessional she was. I am a professional with my own business and if I ever treated a customer or client like that, my business would be done. I'd be kicked to the curb like the trash I was. If anyone that worked for me ever treated someone like that, they'd be fired on the spot. If I were her boss, she'd be looking for a new job. I also called Gary Farley, the GM of the dealer, and left a voicemail complaining and never heard back. It makes you wonder if there is any accountability in their management structure. I researched who the owner of the dealer was and contemplated contacting them because I was furious. I hope the good people over there find a better place to work as I can't see them doing much business. I couldn't stop thinking that if the tables were turned and I realized that I over-paid for my Toyota and called them a week later trying to get money back how badly they'd probably be laughing at me. When you go in there and buy a car, just make sure you realize they'll be laughing at you when they are done ripping you off. Score on for the little guys here. That said, I love my Toyota, but I'll never step foot in Sunrise Toyota ever again. These people were so angry, it was amazing. If anything happens to my car or my residence after this note is posted, I'll know where to point the authorities first.

Overall 11 hours experience from inquiry to purchase was horribleMake sure if you go then your Sales manager should not be Kevin Giron,, who do not know anything for each question you ask he just go out to check with seniors and take too much time..and not have good behavior to talk,,,Finally they taken approximately $2000 extra than what was the published deal for Lease on Toyota site due to misinformation on tradein,, and told unable to cancel the deal.. Never do Trade in with them,, other wise they will misinform till final purchase,, and will keep your car without adjusting anything from final purchase,,,,and will not return,,, It was a mental harassment till 1 and a half month even after purchase..they taken out the Toyota Financial Services review before I responded.. Finally I have much regret how can I finish this very bad deal...

I was regretting the dreaded process of purchasing a car. I anticipated dealers being pushy and overwhelming. We'll thank goodness that was not the case. Our car dealer was Eric Kandler and he was informative, patient and very friendly. It took several weeks for my husband to actually purchase the car, as we made countless calls inquiring about the specs of the car and financing options. But Eric took the calls, never putting us off. We finally made the purchase and again Eric came up with a great deal. Needless to say we are very happy with the car and our experience with Eric. We will be making another purchase within the year and plan to contact Eric.

Although the car I wanted wasn't at the dealership he tried to assess my needs in a car and suggested i take a look at some other and possibly better options within the same and even under my set budget. He was very personable, kind, professional, and very knowledgeable; when it came to all the cars on the lot. He didn't push me into buying anything that i didn't want. knowing the caliber of joe casano as a person, and his morals and ethics, i felt very comfortable coming to him to purchase a new vehicle. i have already recommended multiple friends who, they themselves, have been shopping around. I'm usually the troll on review sites, so when I have a positive review, it's for true purpose. I'm an auto-technician by trade and know my way around a car, so needless to say I know what I am looking for. Mr. Casano was not a typical "salesman", he asked questions instead of giving me answers and honestly cared about the love between a car and it's driver. Bob Bothmann was terrific to work with when buying our new car, even when we presented a challenge ourselves! We first thought we wanted a certain car in a specific color and package that was hard to come buy. Bob worked with us to search the tri state area and was able to locate it and have it brought to the dealership only to discover we had changed our minds. Without blinking an eye, without any complaint, he said no problem, he just wanted us to be happy with our choice in the end. Again we sent him on a search for another model, a specific color and package hard to find. Bob came through for us again. Even after agreeing on a price, we came back days later with a lower price from an online source and Bob was able to match it. We were also surprised that we had asked for mud flaps on the first car, but had not remembered to mention them when purchasing the second car, to find the car arrived with mud flaps courtesy of Bob. Amazing customer service! He really went the exta mile.We also want to commend the young guys working to put plates on the cars each time we took a test drive. They were always so polite and professional making you feel it was their pleasure to set the card up for you, never an inconvenience. Thank you for a wonderful car buying experience Sunrise Toyota!

I never owned a Toyota before, so deciding to get my Prius was not a spur of the moment decision. I've always hated the whole car buying process because I always feel I have to be on guard with salespeople and the dreaded sales manager just trying to get a fair deal. I began visiting other dealerships to see if a Toyota could be in my future, and unfortunately those visits validated my earlier fears of distrust. I started reconsidering getting one until I walked into Sunrise Toyota Scion in Oakdale and met Steve Ciattei.Steve was very patient and accommodating when I ended up wanting to test drive a lot of the various models in the lot. He was extremely personable and didn't make me feel there was any pressure to buy anything during the entire process. I felt he really listened to me and gave truthful feedback on the pros and cons I brought up of on the models I was considering. This made me feel very at ease and I felt I could trust him, and that made me feel comfortable wanting to do business with him, which then led me to doing with the dealership.Fortunately, the rest of the process with the dealership backed up the same trust Steve first generated with me. Everyone there made me feel they were very professional and really meant what they say.The whole process from filling out the paperwork through taking delivery was effortless. Several weeks out of the showroom, I had an issue with an alarm on the dashboard. When calling up the Service department, their approach to me was like I was the most important customer to them and they could accommodate me immediately to resolve the issue. When I brought the car in, I was greeted by their service team, went in and was taken care of quickly. Fortunately the problem was just a quirk which was easily reset and has never occurred again. I also brought the car in for its 5000 maintenance, and again felt very good about the process and was treated very nicely.All in all, I am happy with the car, their service, and especially with the treatment I got by Steve and the staff at Sunrise Toyota. I would recommend others to go there and give them a try.

i bought my 2013 scion frs a couple months ago. When i went to look at the new frs I first spoke to Ryan. He was such a great help with everything. Showed me all the ups and downs the features of of the car and why its such a great car. I went to other dealers before this and no other dealer would let me test drive one. Ryan had one to test drive so i test drove the frs. Right there made up my mind on who i would be buying it from. we talked numbers and came up with prices in my comfort zone. I bought the car the next day. everything went smooth and was very impressed with everything i would so buy another car from Ryan. by far best salesmen ever to deal with. Thumbs up

I went with my daughter when she was looking for a new car. She had gone a few times to other places but never found the right car. When she went in Dan listened and found her one that day! I recently bought my first car at Sunrise Toyota. I had previously visited a different dealership and done some research on what kind of vehicle I wanted on my own. The first dealership I visited took a pretty aggressive sales approach, which made me uncomfortable. I came to Sunrise Toyota to take a look in-person at the car I thought I wanted. Eric was friendly, patient with my first-time buyer questions, and made sure I was going to be happy with my decision. When the dealership didn't have the car I wanted in the color I wanted, they found one for me within a week. When I got my car, they made sure it was in good shape before I took it off the lot and called a while later to check up on how I was doing with it. Ultimately, I am happy with my car and I feel that I had a very pleasant first buying experience. Everyone at Sunrise Toyota was friendly, helpful, and generally pleasant to deal with, which was a breath of fresh air after the first dealership I visited was so pushy. I would definitely recommend Eric, and the dealership in general.

Ms. Thomas I recommended you to my friend Rich Heath to take a close look at a left over Prius. He had a bunch of questions that I could not answer before he would go to any dealer. He was very happy with your explanations on the different Prius models offered. Every Toyota dealer he had called before speaking with you, did nothing but try to lock him into an appointment without answering his questions ahead of an appointment. He is determined to sell his Jeep and once he has a down payment, he will call you for an appointment. Thank for making me look good with my friends. I will always recommend you. You are the reason why I bought from you. Those pushy unfriendly ABC days are not convincing educated buyers but a friendly person like you will always leave a good feeling when calling your place.If this ever hits the internet, I want people to know that I myself have walked out of every Toyota dealer in Nassau and Suffolk due to arrogant sales people who either were pushy or made up answers. But Sue Thomas made me feel like a long lost friend, if she didn't have the answer to something, Sue called me back with the right answer. My overall experience there was very pleasant and felt that they were there not just to collect my money but to make sure that I would not want to go anywhere else for my next vehicle. I called in to Sales regarding the 2007 Toyota Rav4 I saw on the website. Really low miles, good price, great photos. I'm thinking to myself "too good to be true, right?" Well, I gave the web ph# a call and Sara took my call right away. She answered all my questions in a confident and educated manner. I totally appreciated her patience and I decided to come in to look at the car up front.So I meet with Eric at the used car area and he had the Rav4 out front waiting for our test drive. I've done a lot of research on that particular car myself, but he didn't act like a know-it-all at all. He took all questions and criticism and was very polite. I have had poor experiences of being pressured at other dealerships in the past, and there was none here. I got what I paid for - great car, great service.I have no problems with my car, it drives like a dream. And, I know, if I have any problems at all, I can take it back to them with confidence that they will resolve my issue.

Bruce, Claimed he was letting me try the sequoia and he would negotiate so money was not coming out of my pocket since one of the main reasons I bought a new car was for the hitch and my hitch drags on the floor and bottoms out when I leave most parking lots or drive-ways. Bruce hounded me after he said he would give me a vehicle for a week or two to see how it worked with the hitch and my children. He wanted the vehicle back right away, I was in the emergency room and he would not stop calling me meanwhile he never returns call or answers his phoneHitch is still useless, they actually never hooked the hitch up, so the lights do not work and it is so far under the car a hitch piece does not even fit, not that it would work as it bottoms out without additional insert..I bought a brand new Toyota sienna ordered it all factory, with a hitch and additional items. The dealership decided to put an after market hitch on and I have not been able to go in and out of driveways without bottoming out. I bottom out going out of parking lots and Bruce the manager claimed corporate was doing something about it, he had me come in to take pictures as the 2013 is about two inches higher plus the factory hitch is two itches higher so with that clearance I would be able to drive every where. I can not even use the hitch as I would not be able to drive in and out of anywhere with an additional piece on the vehicle. Bruce stated corporate was handling it. I called corporate and they said he did not talk to them or put any request in to help me. Than he was rude to me and yelled at me for his inefficiency. On numerous occasions he also stated I could borrow a vehicle with a hitch to put my trailer on, and when I would go nothing was available as per him or he would not be at the dealership. March 12, 2013. Bruce called me to come in to measure the specs of my cars hitch. He said corporate requested it. So I had to drive 20 minutes to go there and have the height measured confirming the 2013 has a higher bumper. The factory hitch would also be higher, so he claimed they were going to do something. Let me start out by saying that your dealership hit the jackpot with Saranne Potter. She is not only professional, courteous, and extremely conscientious but she always gets back to me immediately to answer my questions. Whenever I called she made me feel that I was in Disneyland because of her uplifting personality which gave you a sense of, "You're my only customer and I will try to do whatever it takes to make you want to buy from our dealership." When I first met him three and half years ago, I felt that I was definitely dealing with a professional. Here is someone that during our negotiations, it wasn't bantering back and forth. He made my wife and I feel as if we were discussing our options pleasantly and without pressure as far as price, etc. He also made us feel comfortable as he was doing his best to help us. Now, going forward here I am again dealing with Mr. Lamonica once again, except this time we felt even more comfortable with him and our purchase. I was currently leasing a Mitsubishi Galant. I was in a 5 yr. lease with just under 2 yrs. to go.Mitsubishi contacted me about buying my 2010 Galant and putting me into a new car. But upon learning they no longer made the Galant I was disappointed since I have been a customer since 1996. I went there anyway to test drive the Lancer. It was a nice car but not for me. My son convinced me to visit Toyota. I didn't think I would ever get a Camry. I still had 21 months left and I was sure the price would be too high.I called ahead and spoke with Amanda. She was very nice and said call after you visit Mitsubishi and we'll be ready for you. When I arrived I was greeted by Amanda and then the Manager came over, shook my hand and assured me they will make this possible for me to get out of the current lease and into a new Camry. I was introduced to Rick Russel who has been there for 29 yrs. The manager said if anyone can do it, Rick can, and he did. I now lease a beautiful red 2013 Camry LE. I will be a customer with Toyota from now on. I love this car.The experience at Toyota was amazing. Rick set everything up for me, showed me all the features which this car has many. And he made it easy to understand.The team that cleans the car did a beautiful job. It was also filled with a full tank of gas which I never had at Mitsubishi.When I test drove the car it was covered in plastic showing the care they keep with their cars and it was obvious I was the first one to take this car for a drive. It only had 8 miles on it!

I ordered a 2014 Toyota Tundra, the store manager Bruce Rabin was so helpful to make sure i got the exact truck I wanted. I went to Sunrise Toyota to look at the RAV4 inventory. I had been to other Toyota dealers but did not get the same attention as I did with Sunrise Toyota. First, I have been a Sunrise Toyota customer for many years. I've bought 3 new vehicles from them, and all my service is done there, despite the fact that I live almost 25 miles away in Nassau County. I was willing to go there even though there were closer dealers because they always did good work, and I was always treated fairly. About a week ago, I dropped off my 2011 Toyota RAV4 Ltd because the radio wasn't working properly. They quickly diagnosed the problem, and told me they would order a new radio. About 3 days later I was told the radio was in. They replaced the radio and it works great. There were a couple of issues that they completely and quickly resolved. Linda, Jeff and the rest of the staff were great. I would definately recommend them.

He really knows his stuff about cars. He wasn't well versed in the paperwork but the other salesmen pitched in when he asked and seemed happy to help. I had a Mercedes 350ML and a Ford Expedition and sold both and bought a 2013 4-Runner. The quality far exceeds that of both the Ford and the Mercedes. I have not had my 4-Runner in for service at all during the first year I owned it. I had the Mercedes in at least six time in the first year. I feel that the quality of the 4-Runner far exceeds both the Mercedes and the Ford. When I drive the 4-runner, I feel like I have total control of the car. There is little sway in the car when turning or drift on the road at highway speeds. In fact, I feel safer in the 4-Runner than the Jaguar X-type that I once owned. Additionally, I feel that the sales team is extremely professional and knowledgeable and is totally above board on the quality and features of the vehicle. I knew exactly what I was buying and was completely satisfied with the purchase and the price of the vehicle and pleasantly surprised at the trade in value I received. I don't think I will ever buy a car built by any other manufacturer than Toyota and if it's a Toyota I'm buying, I'm buying it from Joe. By the way, I own a Lexus, also built by Toyota, and am completely satisfied with that vehicle.

I was delighted to find a salesperson/s who were low key and just plain accommodating. None of the running back and forth to "discuss this with my supervisor" and all that nonsense. Because I had done some research, I told them what I was willing to pay for the car after receiving prices elsewhere and was delighted when, within minutes, the response was, "Yes. We can do that." No fast talking, high pressure sales here. I told them of the low interest rate I had found elsewhere and they immediately went to work coming in slightly lower. They did not try to mislead me into believing that I would be purchasing the vehicle with incentives that were active on other models, but not mine. The dreaded manipulations to which I have so often been subjected by car sales people seemed to never rear its ugly head. More than any other reason, that is why I chose to purchase my new RAV here.........which, by the way, I LOVE!

We were looking for a new Toyota. We had been shopping around, and knew what we wanted.A neighbor, who has dealt with you for many years, made a recommendation. We visited the showroom, and met with Asdubral, a sales associate there. We told him what we were interested in, model, color etc. As it turned out that vehicles was not in your inventory, nor could one be located in the immediate area. He agreed to continue a search in an effort to find such a vehicle nearby. We negotiated a price etc., should one be found, and left a deposit . We were unsure it would happen, however a few weeks later, we received a call that he had located the vehicle we wanted. It was in New Jersey. He made arrangements to have the vehicle brought to Oakdale. My wife went to view the car, and it was what we wanted. A few days later we completed the transaction.Asdubral was a complete professional , knew his products, and always was courteous and helpful in helping us make our decision. I was told by the manager and finance individual I spoke with when buying the car that I would get a loaner when service was required. When I called to make an appointment for the first servicing I was told the dealership ussually does not provide a loaner for the initial servicing because it takes only 90 minutes. After lots of conversation with the service department I was given an appointment and told I would get a loaner. That appointmant was scheduled for tomorrow, so I thought I would call today and confirm tomorrow's appointment and the avaialability of the loaner. Good thing I did as the service department acted as if they had never agreed to provide the loaner. I contacted my sales consuktant, Sheerie Moustakas, and she not only got me a loaner, but drove it to my place of business to save me the trip. Sheerie was awesome and I certainly appreciate her going the extra mile for me!

Kevin was awesome. He made the entire process pain free and stress free. I never once felt pressured or obligated to buy; I was just informed completely and felt like I was able to make an informed and confident decision. I especially appreciate the time that Kevin took with me to explain everything; especially for the audio and navigation system. I left know exactly how to work the vehicle. (I also had an opportunity to work with Anthony, whom Kevin was training at the time. He was also pleasant and friendly. He and Kevin together were an absolute delight and a considerable factor in my decision to purchase a vehicle from this dealership)Cathy was also great. She too took plenty of time to go over everything and discuss the options I had. I especially appreciate the recommendation for the custom detailing. The suggestion led to touches to the vehicle that I wouldn't have know about otherwise and truly made my vehicle perfect and even better than I could have otherwise imagined. My only complaint would be the delivery process. I was told I could pick the vehicle up at 6pm, and showed up at that time. The vehicle wasn't ready and I didn't get the keys until after 7:30. While I appreciate the time that was taken in getting the vehicle ready, I would have been less upset had I been called in advance to be informed and asked to come in later. Instead, I spend an hour and a half waiting when I could have just as easily gone in at a later time.

The entire staff at this location were exceptionally friendly as soon as we walked in. They were quickly able to locate a car that was exactly what I was looking for, and the entire test drive experience was more like a drive with friends than anything else. Even when we were purchasing the car and had an issue with our insurance company they were extremely polite and understanding, this was the only snag that we had the entire transaction. Overall it was a great experience and I'm definitely suggesting them to anyone else I know in need of a new vehicle.

I purchased my Camry at Sunrise and always have had wonderful service. My Camry unfortunately had a little front end collision and my shield was dragging. I pulled up to the service lane to be greeted by a young man whom introduced me to the service manger Linda. She immediately sat me down with Steve and reassured me they would do what they can to reattach this shield. After about 30 minutes I was on my way back to work. I have lost all confidence and faith in Sunrise Toyata Service Department as I feel they rip you off on repairs and the price of the repairs. Every time I go in for something basic I end up with something far more expensive. I recently went in for an oil change and radiator flush and ended up with a new water pump as they said it was leaking. Meantime I never lost any antifreeze and had no leaks on my garage floor. $400.00 plus on that one.Then I went in for a recall fix of the steering column and NYS inspection. They wanted to sell me new tires that were at 4/32nds and still going, and also wanted to do a flush of my battery inverter for another $250.00.I have a 2005 Prius with 152,000 miles and have been afraid to have it serviced out of the dealer, but I'm done with SunriseToyota Service, they are really ripoffs. Their service manager Linda is a doll, but also a shark. I learned that the service writers work on commission. How can you not get ripped off at a place that has commission incentive to sell things you don't need at inflated prices.I decided to take the advice of a friend and went to MTA in Holbrook on Union Avenue and they did an oil change, inverter flush and trans axle oil change for under $175.00. I discussed my concern of servicing my Prius at MTA with the owner Richie and he said: it's still a car and yes the Hybrid sysytem is special but they can handle it if need be, that's what professional mechanics do. I kind of figured that after being on the makret for 10 years an ASE certfied mechanic can handle it so I took the shot and so far really pleased as they did rioght by me. Bye Bye Sunrise

I usually find car dealerships not to be welcoming or comfortable places to visit. I appreciated that I was not pressured into anything and we were able to discuss the option that best worked for my situation. I was in need of a new family vehicle even though my other Highlander (2001 - 148,000) was still running great. Kevin was the main salesman for my new 2013 Highlander. Kevin was absolutely great. He was honest, extremely knowledgeable and affable. I explained to him that I had bought my 2001 Highlander and my 2006 Corolla at Sunrise Toyota and wanted the best price. He gave me a very fair price for the vehicle. I also had the pleasure to negotiate with Brad - the sales manager - another great guy. He double checked all the numbers to ensure that I received the best price available. When I picked up the vehicle Kevin had it all ready for us and explained every detail. Asdrubal made the buying process very easy and was very helpful in picking out a vehicle. He had me drive 3 different vehicles so that I was certain that it was what I wanted. I purchased the vehicle on a Tuesday night with a after 6pm pickup the next day. I called Asdrubal at 9am the next morning and told him that I had changed my mind and wanted to pickup the vehicle in an hour. I got there signed off on paperwork and the vehicle was ready.

They were not able to beat the offer that was like 10 miles from their dealership. I was recommended to Sunrise Toyota after a friend of mine had a horrible experience with a totaled Toyota and not having the necessary funding to cover GAP insurance, as well as put money down on a new lease. After her accident, she was referred to Sunrise Toyota, by Toyota Financial directly. Not only did they create an easy transition into a new lease for her, but truly treated her like family.Since my Camry was up for lease from another Toyota dealership, I decided to take my business down to Sunrise Toyota because of the way they treated my friend. I could not have made a better choice~!I was assisted by the dealer manager, Bruce Rabin, and was treated with kit gloves. He is a very kind, genuine man and as a single woman leasing a car on my own, gave me the courtesy and respect other dealerships never had. I was handed over to August Hochenberger who is a wonderful person. He guided me through the paperwork and always had a pleasant smile on his face. Diego Rivas in Finance was also so kind and professional. Everyone that I dealt with at Sunrise Toyota, from the girls answering the phones, to the fromt desk, all the way to the back service guys, made my experience just pleasurable. They all made you feel as if your business was the most important transaction to them. What other dealerships treat you like that??!?!?!I could not see ever bringing my business to any other Toyota dealership. Even if you're still unsure, just go down and talk with these guys. I Bought my custom ordered 2006 Limited Avalon from Sunrise Toyota back in the end of 2005. I have had my car servuced there ever since. Once the Dealer was sold they took away my Platinum Lifetime benefits (free oil changes for life, 15% off any service, parts, or accessories, pluch more) Ok so I sucked it up to new ownership. Then I brought my car in for routine service. When I got the car back, my "good Luck" money that was put in it when the car was new was all gone. They scraped up one rim and left rags in the engine compartment. After a fight they replaced the rim but would not budge on my money being taken out. Now time has passed...I recently (9/10/12) brought my car in for an oil change and to have the Factory Remote Start looked at(VIP RES). They are under new ownership and even worse. They changed the oil, and then when I got there they told me that the remote start ECU was shot and they don't know how to fix it!! They offered to add another aftermarket one to they car. My car is under warranty so I said NO!. When I got in my car the power windows did not work, moon roof did not work, rear deck was taken off and hanging, seat memory lost, and the radio presets were lost. Now pissed, I went back in there to tell them and they said it was not their responsibility to reprogram the car. WHAT!! I never had this happen before. So I asked about the rear deck - they said they don't know what I was talking about. when I showed them they tech finally admitted he was looking at the rear sunshade and could not get the cover back on properly. I had to initialize the windows and fix the panel myself.Poor service!! I am now taking my car to Smithtown Toyota - so far they fixed everything and everything was still working. They said they have to plug in the techstream into the ODBC then disconnect the battery and that will keep the memory of everything.

I recently dropped my car off for servicing, when my car was returned to me items were missing from the center console. It's not the value of what was taken that annoys me, it is the unprofessionalism that something like this would happen at a "reputable" dealer. I take responsibility for leaving valuables in the center console but I believe this still should not happen. I will not be returning here under any circumstances.

My husband and I were in the market for a new SUV. We were interested in the Toyota Highlander and the Honda Pilot. We had met with Tom Sweeney at your dealership. From the moment we met him, We liked him immediately. Tom is the most down to earth sales person we have ever met. The gentlemen could not do more for us. Unfortunately, I liked the Pilot a little better because of the cargo size difference and the 3rd row seats. Having purchased new Toyotas since 1986 I think I had a reasonable expectation of a car buying experience havinge "made the rounds" on Long Island.....boy, was I wrong. Sunrise Toyota has totally reset my thinking about dealerships and the whole car buying experience. From the ladies in reception to the salesman (Auggie) to the service tech who helped me navigate the coffee machine, to Russ who handled the paperwork and right up to the experience of new car delivery, (don't recall the gentleman who helped me empty my old car stuff into the new car but he was very helpful) the whole experience was a 10 ! I can say without hesitation that I Sunrise Toyota has made a repeat customer out of me. As a Sales professional, I can appreciate what a first good impression means to putting a deal together. From the initial phone call with Brad to the final pickup with John and Cathy, Sunrise Toyota provided the best possible car buying experience. The employees were accessible and kept me abreast of any changes. They were helpful, informed, flexible,accommodating friendly, and worked as a team. The car we purchased was made to spec and financed with an auto buying program. The price was extraordinarily fair and laid out in advance. I would recommend Sunrise; it was worth the drive from upper Westchester County!

Our lease was to end in four months, so we took advantage of toyotas early lease termination program, which eliminated our remaining payments. Our sales consultant was Asdrubal Pichardo, who right from the start made us feel very comfortable and at home, as he explained the details of how the program worked. After exploring our options, we decided on leasing another toyota camry, but we upgraded from the 2010 LE to the 2012 SE model.Asdrubal helped us narrow down our choices between two colors and other options. He pointed out the advantages the camry's new aerodynamic design and advanced safety features. He actually went out of his way to show us cars of two colors we had in mind by driving them from the lot and parking them side by side so we could compare. (not just showing us pictures). He actually took his time and wound up staying a half hour after closing time, until we were comfortable with our decision. Asdrubal is most certainly one of the most loyal and knowledgeable sales consultants that we have ever dealt with.

Melvin was very helpful with assisting with the sales process from start to finish. It was a very busy Saturday and regardless, he gave us excellent service and we never felt as if we were being rushed so he could get to the next customer. With that being said, it must have been a stressful day but he keep a cool level headed attitude, and was happy to answer any questions we had about the car. Will definitely recommend him to anybody I meet who is looking to purchase a new car.

Based on this he brought up a couple of options which really helped our decision and we purchased a car on the spot! My salesman Tom Sweeney immediately made me feel extremely comfortable with my purchase. I was considering purchasing a Ford product but the professionalism and attention that Tom and Bruce Rabin showed me made the decision to buy my Tundra easy. I had never met either before and by the time I picked up my vehicle two days later they were like old friends to me. I have been talking about how great the guys and the deal was at Sunrise Toyota since I left the showroom. I have probably purchased 15 vehicles from dealers in 22 years and these guys are top of the list. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and I plan on returning soon to get my fiance a new car. I have recently owned a Scion and wanted to see if i could trade it in (2004) and hope to get into a new car, I went and spoke to Tom with my husband told him where I wanted to be price wise and what I was looking for. After test driving the Rav 4 I fell in love with it! Tom let us know that there were having promotions on the Rav 4's and I knew I was sold! Tom told me what I would get for my Scion and I knew I could not pass this up. We started the paperwork almost immediately,and my payments now are less than I could have expected so after 9 years I have my new car!! and love every second of driving it. I will never go anywhere else.

I priced out a car at another dealership before returning to where I bought my 2008 and was treated rudely there. I'm glad I returned to Sunrise because Tom made it happen for me ... Thank you. But I did sense a negative change in courtesy when I met with Russ in finance and refused his 0.25% higher financing (I already had a loan secured privately).

I shopped numberous dealers and came to my 4th Toyota store.I was greeted by the receptionist and I explained I am interested in a new truck an FJ Cruiser.They called a salesman named Louie to the showroom and his initial greeting was hello welcome to Sunrise Toyota, Im Louie and how could I help you today.Pleasant I began to tell him why would I buy a FJ over a Jeep Rubicon,the salesman new so much about his product as well as the Jeep.I was impressed do to know other dealership new half of the equipment and options in the truck as well as he did,a-trac,differential lock,vehicle stability and more,I had to ask if this guy was ever a mechanic.He was very knowledgeable and do to the test drive and all the re- insurance of this truck,I began to work my deal with him.I got prices all diffrent, but Lou was very imformative and got me my best deal.I shopped 2011 and he got me a beter deal on a 2012 as well as the highest appraisel for my vehicle.I made out on both ends.There was all questions answered, not a lot of back and forth and no need for another person to come in and try to make the sale do to poor salesmanship that all other dealers did to me.I would recommend if your in the market for a vehicle to go to Sunrise Toyota and ask for the salesman Louis D.He called me and followed up after the sale and gave me advice on how to adjust the roof racks and saved me money again.This experience was the best I ever had and I buy vehicles every two years,never found a saleman like this ever.I felt like family.The dealership has to commend this guy..A+ LOUIE

After visiting several Toyota dealers, all of which did a great job in trying NOT to sell me a used 2008 Rav 4 either because of rudeness, price trickery or not disclosing Carfax reports, I finally met a salesman and dealership who did EVERYTHING right! Dan Gladd was as easy and thoughtful as any salesman I have ever dealt with in purchasing a car. He found the car I was looking for, offered me a very fair price and it took us 10 minutes to wrap it up. With 33,000 miles, it had new tires, clean as a whistle and ran beautifully. There was absolutely no pressure from the business manager Jeff who wished me well and off I went. The parts manager Rusty was also part of this great experience. Sunrise Toyota is the best place when looking for an honest deal. Dan Gladd is your man.

...How did I bring myself to meet someone named Tom Sweeney? I mean, ok... If I went to school with this guy, I'd be nice to him. But seriously. That's so typical. A guy named Tom Sweeney that works at a Car Dealership. There's enough bad omens when I first pulled up into Sunrise Toyota's Dealership.The place is pretty sweet looking. They keep it clean, the cars themselves are good looking from a distance. Some notable scratches but... I'm not a picky person. I'm not looking for a brand new car, I'm looking for a used one.Tom Sweeney let me drive it, he was friendly even when I was concentrating on the car itself. The car itself was in fine condition as well. At least from what I could tell from a single drive. Tom Sweeney is and was a gentleman and he did not condescend me in anyway. But he really really wanted me to stay. And I'm a polite person. If a person tells me that he just wants me for a few more minutes I have problems just walking away from someone whose talking to me.The price wasn't right. I was looking for a good deal, and what they were offering was marginal. Tom Sweeney brought in his manager and his manager. That's where the true dickery came from Sunrise Toyota. This guy, tried to convince me that he only had one day left to sell the car. Yet wouldn't lower the price. I quoted prices that came from Kelly Blue Book, and he replied, "Well you know what? Kelly Blue Book doesn't sell cars. We do"After a while I just started quoting inane retarded prices just so that they would get the message and let me leave. I don't like being an asshole and wasting people's time. I really don't. But Sunrise Toyota requires of me to be an asshole just to be heard. He was extremely condescending. How the hell did he think he was going to get the sale after treating me like a child?Also, I've heard from friends (take with grain of salt) that whenever they brought the car in for their so-called "Warranty" they never left without having to pay for -something-. Have these guys ever heard of what a Warranty was before? Seriously.

He answered all our questions and was very pleasant and patient. Great experience. MUCH RATHER HAVE A FEMALE AS MY SALES PERSON!!!!!I had gone to other dealers on the island and the men that I dealt with at other dealerships were extremely pushy. Dealing with Debbie was a great experience!!! I felt confident making my purchase with with her!!! In fact I was given a cheaper price else where and still went back to deal with her because I felt that she treated me like a costumer not a commission... and being treated well is always worth the money!

I was welcomed when I first walked in the door, extremely friendly staff. Debra was able to work around my budget and knew exactly what I needed. She was able to get me a great price and a nice lease plan. I was so pleased with the service I recommend my mother. Debbie helped find the car she always wanted and an excellent finance plan. Since she has purchased the vehicle in July 2009 she has referred many of her co-workers to Sunrise Toyota and to Debbie. Overall we are definitely satisfied with our end results. My lease will be up next year and I plan on purchasing a car from Toyota.

My family and I have been buying and leasing Toyota's from Sunrise Toyota for over 20 years. We always are greeted with politeness and respect. They balance the consumer's need for vehicle information and time, to think out the numerous issues a family goes through when deciding to buy a vehicle. There is never any pressure mounted by the sales staff, only a helping deference. If you were to identify the perfect car dealership and perform a "Google" search, Sunrise Toyota would be the first "hit". Kudos to Sunrise Toyota's sales staff and management for a job well done. They have been doing the same job for over 20 years!!

We had an absolute horrible experience at this dealer. Spent 3 hours there, got conned into giving a $500 deposit and were not even able to meet with the financial advisor to confirm the rate promised by the salesman. They wanted us to come back with our trade in & then we could actually meet with the finance guy. After sleeping on it, we decided to cancel our so called deal. Well, that is when the fun began. The salesman said I would have to speak with a manager to cancel the "deal" and get our money back. Well, the sales manager, was the RUDEST man I have ever met! He insisted on us coming back to the dealership, which was not at all convenient. This man proceeded to threaten me and inform me that I would NEVER receive my $500.00 back. I did manage to get the salesman back on the phone & he reassured me that if we came down the manager would have to issue the refund. So, we went back to the dealership and after talking to the salesman and a different manager who offered us a "better deal", we told him that we were simply not at all interested in doing business with them. It took some doing but they eventually did refund the $500.00 deposit back to our credit card. Please save yourself - GO ELSEWHERE!!!!

My husband and I went to this dealership today to see about getting pricing on a new Toyota. We walked in and expected to be greeted by a salesperson. Instead, one girl at the counter asked if she can help us while the other one was too busy texting on her cell phone. Salespeople walked around and just looked at us. After paging a couple of salesmen, one finally assisted us but we seemed more of an inconvenience to him than a sale. Instead of sitting down with us and working on some prices, he showed us the car in the lot and that was it. We went to a Honda dealership and were greeted by a very friendly salesmen who sat down with us and went over pricing, rates, etc... he was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I will never go back to Sunrise Toyota and I'll be sure to steer my friends away from there as well. Apparently, the economy isn't hurting them where they actually need customers.

I bought a car from them in 2004 and even though I knew someone who worked at the dealership (in prep) they were lax in returning phone calls, promised the car a certain date and didn't deliver, frustrating to get a hold of, and always seemed to be rushing you off the phone or out the door.I recently started looking for a new car again and returned only to discover the experience has gotten worse. Even though I had given our salesman approval to run my credit report in the first 30 minutes we were there and the Saleman was quick to charge my credit card for a deposit, it took 2 1/2 HOURS before I was informed of what my interest rate would be (which would have been way too high). When I told him I wanted a refund he proceeded to keep me there another hour trying to convince me to buy. Finally, when he got the point I wasn't going to buy ANY car at their interest rate (and that I needed to think about whether I was going to buy with cash or my own financing) he processed the refund on my deposit but refused to give me a formal receipt. A week later when I still didn't have my money back I had to go down there to demand it back and a manager wouldn't even come out to see me, take care of it, or apologize (and I had ASKED for a manager). I had to deal with the same salesman, who proceeded to charge my credit card ANOTHER $500! In the end I finally got all my money back but I will NEVER return to this dealership.This is a BIG mistake on their part, being it could have turned into a 3-car deal (mom, husband and I are all in the market). They ASSUMED because I didn't like their interest rate I wasn't going to buy at all. Well WRONG. My mother and I ended up getting a much better deal at another dealership, and I paid CASH for my car. When we go to look at cars for my husband, it won't be at Sunrise Toyota.Under "Quality of Work" I did give them a 4 -- this is only because I haven't had any problems with their service department. They have always been pleasant and efficient. It's quite a shame the sales department is so far behind in the times that they keep potential customers there WAY too long before getting them price and financing info. In todays day and age when we can all go online and price out a car, look at interest rates and check our credit all in a matter of 10 minutes, there's no reason it should take a salesman 3 hours. And in all my other shopping experience in looking for a car I didn't come across ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP that was a time-consuming, pushy and unprofessional. To the contrary, most others were just fine.
