Excellent service by the department. I love the guys at the counter, Brian and Ryan people there so helpful pleasant and kind. Ryan kept me updated on the progress and we got everything accomplished Also this is the only dealership service department that I have regularly used. I also take my Subaru to this Nissan dealership. The department has high service and quality. The manager, Randy, is always pleasant. Actually I ran into him at a fundraiser a couple years ago and he came up and created me by name. He wasn’t previously familiar with this nonprofit but based on a Conversation with a customer he came to the fundraiser to support a women’s shelter. I think that the quality and high level of service is a product of good leadership. I regularly recommend this service department to people I am in contact with.

I was surprised that the dealers would even take time to talk to me. I was in just to look, and that's all. So much for that story, but what I found was not only a great car, but also a great group of guys that I would take in to meet friends and relatives. I was treated like a prospective investor not just like a possible customer. They made it easy to talk about my financial ungreatness and still find me terms on a deal, for a 2016 car, that was within my budget and a great car to drive not to mention a beautiful car with advanced features that I would not have expected in a car costing twice as much. My new Nissan Rouge is fantastic, I would tell everyone to test drive one of them before spending a lot more on something else. The features are incredible, the handling is unbelievable, and my sales team headed by Tom Tugman worked miracles to make that wonderful car mine.

From the moment my wife and I walked into the door, Dixie got the ball rolling by researching various vehicles based on the features we wanted. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and determined. She greeted us warmly and had all the information at a computer click. Her explanation was clear and never did she try to sell us something we didn't need. She passed the ball over to Claude to got the vehicle for us to test drive. We fell in love with the 2015 Nissan Rogue. His knowledge of the vehicle was key on our decision to buy. He then passed the ball over to Tom who went above and beyond anything I had ever seen a Manager do to make the deal happen. I was continually amazed by the things he did to ensure our satisfaction. When it was all said and done, we drove away in a beautiful 2015 Nissan Rogue priced just right with some wonderful incentives added. Thank you Dixie, Claude, and Tom. We are customers for life!!!!!

I spoke with this internet sales person on December 14th. I explained my credit situation and was told that the finance company would not finance this 2011sedona because it had over 10000 miles I found that odd but thanked Dixie and ended the conversation. I went on another website and found a 2008 Kia sedona with 10000 miles. They found a finance company to finance me. I have a trade -in to have appraised . Thank you Dixie Pineda!

2014 Nissan Versa under warranty. Would not start. Service manager told me there was no issue including no issue with battery. Told me it was my fault that I must have left the lights on. Next day I was stranded and had to pay $200 for emergency battery replacement. Auto zone tested the battery for free and found it was bad. Auto Zone did a better service job than Southlake Nissan. To top it off the Nissan service manager Randy told me he would not reimburse for the emergency battery cost. They cost me 4 hours of aggravation and $200 for a car under warranty. My advice is take your vehicle anywhere else but not to Southlake Nissan.

The staff at Southlake Nissan was more than pleasant to deal with. I went in as a single woman with a specific truck in mind. I went in for a test drive and ended up buying the vehicle. They did not try to sell me on anything else and really helped me out with warranties and information. My salesman, Claude Abbott was a true professional and more than helpful. He answered all the questions I had and even now, after the sale, is still answering my questions. The salesmen in the past have always just seem to disappear once the sale was over, but this dealership is still right there for me whenever I need them. I would highly recommend them and Claude as well for anyone wanting excellent service, fair pricing and the knowledge that your relationship is not going to end when you pull off the lot.

We knew what model of new vehicle we wanted, and began working with a local dealer here in Wisconsin. The process was frustrating, and I began contacting other dealerships with the vehicle we wanted in stock. From my first phone call through the completion of the sale, Larry was by far the most helpful and knowledgeable sales person I worked with. I'm giving Southlake Nissan a 5 star review because I feel they earned everyone of those stars. From the time I walked on the lot and met my salesperson Claude all the way through to the end of the deal. This by far was the best car buying experience I've ever had. I pretty much knew what I was looking for and Claude helped me along the way to make my final decision. Never once did I feel pressured to buy a car. Also they were very respectful in regards to my trade in and I feel gave the very top dollar for that car. I was told by Marko a red 370 Z with navagation and manual transmission was located for me and I would have a new 370z no later than Saturday. On saturday after having to call my self to see if my car was there I was informed my salesman Marko was on vacation and that a car had not even been located yet. I was assured by Dave he would get back to me on Monday with some answers. Needless to say Dave never called me either! Consequently after realizing I wasn't taken seriously regarding my purchase I traveled to Gurnee and bought the red 370z with navigation from Zeigler Nissan (the same one I was told by Marko and the manager didn't exist!) . I had a wonderful salesman by the name of Hector who gave me the exact deal I wanted...and ordered me lunch!Needless to say I'll make the 2 hour drive to Zeigler Nissan everytime! I've never been treated as if I wasn't a serious buyer in my life until encountering the sales people at Nissan!

My initial contact was with Dixie, the internet sales manager,whom I had spoken to over the phone. After our conversation about price I went to the dealership and met Claude Abbott who became my salesman.We discussed specifics and began negotiating over my trade-in as I had been given a great price over the phone by Dixie. I purchased my vehicle on 12/13/14, and received pretty good service from my car salesman, sales manager, and finance manager. I even got to meet the owner of the dealership the night I purchased the car! When I got the car, the dealership was supposed to fix my inside overhead light before I left, but they forgot to do that - but my salesman told me to just mention it when I came back to pick up my plates, and that they would take care of it then.On Monday, 1/5/2015. I called the dealership to inquire about when I would get my new license plates. Considering that I purchased the car on 12/13/14, I was concerned. I was informed by a woman (I don't recall her name) that my paperwork has just been sent off for my plates the previous Friday (1/2/2015). I mentioned that I was concerned because my temporary tags would be expiring soon. I was told that I shouldn't worry, I'd get my new plates before my temporary tags expired, and that I would be contacted by the dealership when they were ready.Fast forward to this morning, Monday, 1/12/2015 at approximately 8:18am. I called the dealership because my temporary tags expire TODAY, and I have YET to receive any communication about picking up my new license plates. I had the unfortunate pleasure of speaking with MARISSA, a very rude sounding cashier. I asked her what does the dealership typically do when, at no fault of the customer, they run into the situation when a customer's temporary tags are about to expire and the license plates still haven't come in. In a nutshell, she said that there are multiple ways that type of situation are handled, and it would be at the discretion of the finance manager. I asked her AGAIN to be informed specifically of what those various ways were - which she continued to respond in a rude (in my opinion) fashion by saying, "that's up to the finance manager." I then asked her to speak to a manager since she didn't seem to want to respond to my question, and she told me the finance manager wasn't in. I clarified that I wanted to speak to ANY manager since she was being rude about a situation that was no fault of my own. She responded by saying no managers would be in until 9am. I let her know that I would be calling back at 9am, and that I would be speaking with a manager about the issue of not receiving my license plates in a timely fashion, and I would be informing the manager of her poor and rude customer service!MARISSA needs customer service training ASAP!!!Regards,Monique Caston

Haven't bought a vehicle since 1992. I stopped at the KIA dealership in my area because I was very interested in the KIA Sportage. My first impression was how clean and how big the dealership was. My salesman was a very nice gentleman buy the name of Kim Roberts. I asked many questions about the KIA Sportage of which he did not hesitate at all in answering. I was shown all I wanted to see both inside and out. Not once was I pressured in any way with a sales pitch. I bought the floor model which was the 2014 KIA Sportage LX. Its color is called "Sand-Track" and it is a knockout. I love the styling of the vehicle and my wife loves it also. It has an almost amazing zero turn capability.

I called in to get more information on a Hyundai Elantra and a Kia Forte.The Elantra I was inquiring about was no longer available, but there was another one listed online so I asked about it. Michael was the first person I spoke to on the phone, told me the Elantra was being negotiated. He said he would hold the Forte until I made it to the dealership, I told him I really wanted to compare the two cars and would wait until the people looking at the Elantra made a decision because I was driving 2 hours to see it. About an hour later he lets me know they left and didn't purchase the car. I call back and ask him if he can hold it for me. He says he can't do that. Why could he hold the Forte but not the Elantra? This came off as strange to me so I decided to call them back. I called the dealership and spoke with a different salesman and he told me the Elantra had been sold yesterday. I don't think there ever was a Hyundai Elantra available for me. ...I understand car dealerships are meant to be a little pushy, but to flat out lie is just wrong. avoid Michael

I had two cars in mind of purchasing the 2014 Altima or the 2014 Rogue and I decided with the Rogue The purchase goes by fast and my sales lady Sue Davis explained everything about working the car all the equitment. My Husband and I already purchased a care from them in 2012 and thats the only dealership I will be getting anything from new or used. So my experience with Southlake Nissan from the internet to the store was amazing! My situation was bad, my credit was less than perfect, and after explaining this to Dixie she convinced me to come into the store and bragged about Allen Moody being able to work wonders! I was upside down on my car and honestly had to stay within a budget but I wanted what I wanted, and Juan and Allen understood that. After looking over my credit, determining what I could qualify for and showing me a car I never thought I could get alone, Allen the finance guy went to work while Juan and I test drove the car! While driving Juan mentioned that if he wasn't certain I could get this car he wouldn't have had me test drive. Because I was concerned that the test drive was a waste of time! "Come on have a little faith" is what Juan said to me! When we came back Allen had everything worked out, and an unbelievable interest rate, financed through Nissan... The best part of my experience was that got what I wanted, and they weren't greedy, getting me into a car in my price may not have been the most money they've made off a deal but they definitely earned my trust and loyalty!! My husband and I decided it was time for a new car. I am extremely put off by the usual high pressure car buying experience. After visiting a few dealers, I didnt want to go to any more. The problem was that I still didnt know what car I wanted. So, we went to the Chicago Auto Show, where we were able to identify the exact car we wanted. We came home and looked up the closest Nissan dealer to our home, but they didnt have the car I wanted. So our search spread out, farther and farther away; calling more and more dealers trying to find my perfect car. Finally we called Southlake Nissan in Merrillville, Indiana, and talked with Dixie. Dixie is amazing. She has and incredible amount of energy. Her perseverance in finding us the perfect car was unmatched. While other dealers tried to steer us into settling for a car that they had in stock, Dixie made it her mission to find us our perfect car. She even got her dealerships manager involved (who worked some magic) and secured the car that no other dealer in the entire Chicago metropolitan area could. Not only that, but she made sure that we got all the advertised promotions that were running at the time. She was a pleasure to deal with. Once we came to her dealership to purchase the car, Dixie passed us off to regular sales person, who was very helpful in completing our new car purchase. But it was truly the effort, energy, perseverance, and cheerful can-do attitude of Dixie herself, who turned us into satisfied customers of Southlake Nissan. I would not hesitate to seek out her assistance for buying a new car . In fact, she is the very first person I would go to. Dixie is wonderful, and clearly she has the support of an excellent dealership behind her.

We returned to this dealership because of the great customer service we received when we purchased from them several years ago. I came in desperation to Southlake Nissan to see if they could help me with a paperwork issue I was having with another dealership, Glendale Nissan in Glendale Heights, IL. I needed a simple VIN form filled out for a vehicle I had purchased from Glendale Nissan and they had been ignoring my phone calls and emails for over a month. My dealer plate was expired and I could not drive the car I purchased until this paperwork issue was taken care of for the Indiana BMV.Sue Davis at Southlake Nissan was wonderful. She listened to my problem and discussed what they could do about it for me with the business manager, Allen Moody. He was great and agreed to help resolve this situation. They got on the phone with Glendale Nissan and my form was completed and faxed to them in a half hour. I don't know why Glendale Nissan gives such terrible customer service, BUT THE PEOPLE AT SOUTHLAKE NISSAN GIVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE (even for people who are not exactly their current customers). LOVE my new vehicle but will not return to this dealership. My salesman was great, friendly and I thought helpful but after the purchase, I learned the hard way that this was all an act. I wanted remote start on my new vehicle and was told by my salesman I could have it installed there. After purchase, I called to make an appointment to have this done and was informed they do not do it. Called my salesman back since he told me it could be done and he apologized he misinformed me. After talking to the sales manager, Dan, I was informed my salesman straight out lied to me because they do not do remote starts and he told me my salesman was well aware of that. So he lied to me to make the sale. The sales manager was not willing to do anything to help me even though it is illegal for a salesman to state wrong information to make a sale. I contacted Nissan's corporate office and am having my remote start installed through another local Nissan dealership where I will be taking my vehicle for service since they were so much more helpful. Having remote start may not seem like a big deal (it is to me but the sales manager also told me he doesn't think it's that big of a deal for me to want this) but when I've had it on 2 older cars, spent a pretty penny, and bought a BRAND new car - a LIE is a LIE and that's what they do here.... LIE.
