Martin made this buying experience comfortable and fun and was very personable. He didn't high pressure us, but he did point out all the wonderful things about the Toyota we were interested in. He was patient in answering all of our questions and treated us like we were his only customers. He did not get in a hurry and stayed late the day we bought the car so we could finish the deal and drive it home that night. David in the finance department was also very pleasant and friendly and extremely efficient. The manager introduced himself to us and made sure we were having a good buying experience.

We purchased a Certified Toyota Highlander from Aaron Peters a few months ago and could not have been more pleased about our experience. Aaron was helpful, friendly, and got us a great deal that we couldn't refuse. We will be coming back to Shottenkirk Toyota and Aaron again for our next vehicle!

We bought a GMC Terrain from Aaron Peters and couldn't be happier with how we were treated. He was able to get us the payment we wanted on the vehicle we loved within 20 minutes of being at the store, and treated us like family. Started another day of car shopping when we met Kevin Bussey who was extremely patient and very helpful. Eventually found the truck of our dreams after aproximately 8hrs ov looking at the wrong ones. Kevin didn't give up on us or rush us. Great experience all around. Special thanks to Kevin Bussey. If your in the market for a car stop in and look him up, you wont find another salesman like him.

Fast and friendly service with a smile. Kelly Kay went above and beyond my expectations coming in after her shift and on her day off to help us out with the purchase of our new van! She even worked it out to get the vehicle on the lift for us to look at the under carriage. My 3 year old said the new van smells great! Thank you so much!

They are very slow and gives you a go around over and over again!! I drove a hour to pick up the car after they said it was ready then to find out that the check engine light is back on!! And I didn't know it took 20min to copy the insurance card and bring it back out!!!

We bought 2 brand new vehicles from them. Each time they reviewed what we were to receive as far as car maintenance goes,etc. My husband and I actually bought the 2nd car b/c we loved their maintenance package. (The person going over the finance and car salesman said that wouldn't have to cover anything for the life of our loan...including oil changes.) Once again, it was reviewed to us and it was exactly like we had heard it the 1st time we bought a vehicle. When the time came to use it, apparently the car salesman (both times) and finance person exaggerated the maintenance package. When I called to inquire why there was a discrepancy, we were told that xxxxx car salesman no longer worked there and the finance person had been there for 5 years and they would never make that mistake...b/c "like we would never offer anything like that". So much for keeping a dual buyer happy (who referred a person to buy a vehicle from toyota). You say that your people would "never make that kind of mistake"? Well, I will never make this kind of mistake again. NEVER....ever will I buy from Shottenkirk. Typical car salesmen.....

Just bought my second TUNDRA , The first one in 2004 which was a 2000, no problem. went on line and found this one at Shottenkirk. There was no pressure from the salesman.I was able to drive serveral without a salesman which was stress free. Great location and was easy to get to. would go back again.

We drove 3 hours to Shottenkirk in Quincy to purchase our 2011 Toyota 4runner. The vehicle was as described. We dealt with Lance Uhlmeyer and "Stu". They were both very easy to get along with, not pushy and let us take our time. They either answered our questions or found the answers. We were able to reach an adequate agreement and came home with a vehicle the wife was excited to have! We will definitely consider making the drive again for a future purchase. Thank you Shottenkirk staff!

Being an oldtimer, I consider my self pretty experienced in buying cars. Been doing it for 40+ years, but I have to tell you these boys ( OK and Girls ) at Shottenkirk really made my buying experience the best I ever had. Most impressive is the patience they showed as I was trying to make up my mind if I was serious about changing cars and then which of their cars I wanted. A couple of my neighbors had recommended this outfit and I'll tell you I'll do the same! Drove out with a great car and a real good price. Can't imagine a better place to make a deal!

I drove 4 hours to buy a vehicle at this dealership. They called me when I was 6 minutes away to inform me that they had sold the vehicle. Instead of asking how he could make things right, when confronted the manager was arrogant and accusatory of me! It turned out they had not sold the vehicle I wanted, but by then, I saw what their dealership was about. What a bunch of buffoons!!

Went to purchase a car with my mother in law but was not sure what kind of car would fit her needs. We wanted to set in different cars to see which one she could easily get out of. The young sales person did not want to waist her time looking at different cars. We had Monet in had but with that additude we left. This car lot needs to train their sales people in customer service and empathy to the elderly.

I have purchased several vehicles from this dealership and have referred many people to them as well. NEVER AGAIN!! I told them I had my own financing set up and they told me that they work with that bank that to make it easier we can just do the paperwork there. I just talked to my banker and he informed me how they raised the interest rate higher then what he told them! I trusted these people to handle my paperwork and ended up getting screwed! I would not purchase another vehicle from them nor refer anyone to them!!!!

I drove over 120 miles to buy my new 2012 Camry from Shottenkirk. After being snubbed by other dealers in the St. Louis area and dealing with Shottenkirk for service in the past, I decided to try purchasing from them. The experience was the best and easiest car purchase ever. Rick Mewes did not use high pressure tactics and Kathleen Boone walked me through the purchase process answering my questions. Both made me feel as a valued customer. I would recommend Shottenkirk Toyota in Quincy to anyone looking for a car. The drive is well-worth it!

First off the service manager is a two faced liar!!!! He flat out told me a lie after my service advisor had come out and told me the truth about my car. They throw parts at your car in hopes it fixes it. Then the service manager will come out and tell you some lie about how your car needed this part first to see if it fixed it. I would not recommend Shottenkirk Toyota service department to my worst enemy! I am absolutely disgusted with the way I was treated by John Magliocetti. Must be nice to have his job and not have to answer to anyone when you get called out on being a bold face liar.

After some disappointing test drives we drove across the state Illinois to test drive a 2005 Toyota Sienna at Shottenkirk Toyota. I would do it again and probably will when my boys are ready to drive. The price was reasonable and my contact Annette Bruns was extremely helpful and professional. She had the van ready to view. Shottenkirk and Annette obviously take pride in their vehicles. It was one of the nicest used vehicles that I drove. The pictures looked good, but the van totally exceeded my expectations. I have purchased new and use vehicles and this was one of the best car buying experiences I have had. Thanks Shottenkirk Toyota and Annette!!!!!

I recently purchased a 2011 Toyota 4Runner from Shottenkirk Toyota in Quincy, IL. The entire process from start to finish was absolutely wonderful and they actually made purchasing my new 4Runner a lot of fun which is important to me! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and friendly customer service. I never felt pressured into any of the "extras" that can come with buying a new car and they explained everything thoroughly until I felt comfortable knowing that I was leaving with a vehicle that fit my every need and want, both in style and reliability. Matt Luhn was our salesman. He was awsome. We had a very bad experience at another Shottenkirk dealership, and everyone at Shottenkirk Toyota made our experience there a great one. Sarah Dodd was the best experience. I also have to say that the reason we bought the Toyota Camary was my husband. He has had a Toyota for several years.
