I will never purchase a vehicle from another dealership. Period. Seaport has bought me out of negative equity TWICE! Whether maintenance issues, or poor purchase decisions on my end, Seaport auto has offered me more than fair trade in value every single time. I choose my vehicle, and name a fair monthly payment. Seaport has made it work every time. Staff is friendly, and transparent. Inventory is in factory pristine condition. I’ve never felt more comfortable buying a used vehicle from a dealership. Most recent transaction occurred from a “window shopping” experience (where I told myself I wouldn’t make a purchase same day), after trading in a sports car from another dealer, with buyers remorse. Seaport auto staff was patient, understanding, and supportive. I highly recommend working with Andrew. He listened to my situation without judgement, and found a vehicle with all the features I was looking for, at a price I was content with. I never have to worry about being taken advantage of with seaport auto. I bought a Silverado LTZ 4x4 Dec, 2015. I didn't notice any rust when at the lot. A couple days after I bought it, I saw 2 rust spots started to bubble up. Over the next few weeks several more bubbled. They had kept it "touched" up on the lot. But I have now found out how much they covered up to sell this thing. Trying to grind out the rust spots on the bed, I have found that it has had major rusting, that was covered up for sale. Too bad, as it drives really nice. All I can say, if you are not a car/truck expert beware. Better yet make sure to have arrangements to have prospective vehicle examined at your repair shop. It might have saved me the thousands it is going to cost me to get this to where I thought I purchased it. The least is a new bed for the truck and a complete paint job.

I recently bought an 08' chevy Silverado 2500 from these guys, After I reached a deal with them, they let me go home to sleep on it and were able to honor the deal the next day when I returned to purchase the truck. I am happy with the truck and feel like I paid a fair price.

Seaport and the guy who sold me my car were really nice and made me getting my truck go fast. it looks good and runs good so i have zero complaints about buying from here. i'm taking my sister back to get her car and i hope we get the same good service again

My wife and I needed to upgrade to a larger vehicle to accommodate our family size. We looked at many different places but when we got to Seaport, my wife fell in love with an SUV they had. We took it for a spin and that was it. We began working on the paperwork and sure, it took a while but we're credit challenged, to put it mildly, but they made it work. They got me and my wife into a vehicle she loves, that drives wonderfully, and fits our family. Thank you to everyone at Seaport. When it's time to get another rig, we'll be back!

I would not recommend this car dealership they where very misleading on the correct information about the vehicle I purchased, in the test drive the salesman kept me on the back roads and a short ride, after buying it, driving home the pickup had a shimmy in the front end ,I went to less swab to get the tires balanced they told me the tires are out of round. I called seaport they said bring it in, I did, I took it to there tire guy he said the same thing. Seaport then said to bad truck is sold as is. They also tried to add on extra warrenty on our loan without telling us. good thing I read the contract. Be careful if you plan to buy a vehicle here. they are shister

Looked online to find the vehicle I wanted. Their website was easy to navigate and narrow down my search. I filled out there online form and was called the same day to set up an appointment to come in and look at the vehicle. Cliff, Jeremy and the rest of the team were excellent. No major pressure like I've had at other places. I'm happy to be able to drive out with a 2011 Ford Explorer. I highly recommend this dealership.

I'm a first time car buyer that was looking for a good condition tacoma. Found a nice one, negotiated the interest, price was set, all papers signed and good to go. Come the next monday morning I recieved a call from Kim who was informing me that they had to change the credit union because I ended up being declined at the first one. My interest shot right back up to the pre-negotiated sticker interest. They tried to quell the situation by telling me that my warranty cost had gone down while keeping all the same coverage. That sounds good. She also informed me that they would be adding theft protection, at no cost. Right on. I asked her multiple times if anything else had changed at all, any price, time-span, anything at all. She said no. Then talked me through the new contract with the higher interest. I heard her mention that my first payment would now be in 1 month instead of the original agreed 3 months. So she did forget to mention something. I asked that since my interest is now much higher if they could get me some newer tires since the originals are pretty bald. She asked and said yes they could get me 50-75% tread tires for me since the situation changed. I kept asking if anything else had changed at all, she reassured me that nothing had. They sent Jason out the next day to sign papers, (Now let me inform you that Jason is a badass, the only person through this process that has been kind, straight-forward and extremely helpful. If you ever have to go here, ask for Jason.) Jason shows up and starts walking me through the signing process. I notice that the actual price of the truck has gone up ~$1380. He couldnt find why, so we called the finance manager, Dave. Dave explains to me that the price went up due to "acquisition" fees and the cost of the theft protection. But wait, wasn't the theft protection free Kim? I quess not. The theft protection on paper cost $1500. There's nothing they could do about any of the new changes. He informed me that my case rarely happens and he was so sorry it was happening to me. He apologized profusely. The $15,000 truck just shot up to above sticker price. Higher than negotiated interest. Lies and run arounds. When I asked if they could do anything for me to help me feel slightly better about getting taken advantage of, they assured me they would get me brand new tires. Alright, there's something. I signed the papers because I really like the truck, I've already put in the time and effort throughout this process, Jason has been so awesome and I'm tired of looking for a new truck. After signing the new papers Jason headed out and I called the boss to let him know how shady this whole deal was. He was very uninterested and unapologetic, atleast Dave repeatedly said sorry. The positives out of this experience are that I got to work with Jason, I get new tires, a full tank of gasand I have this great truck. Everything else was shady and unfair to a first time car buyer. So Seaport Auto, thank you for the truck, thank you for the help, Thank you Jason for all your work and driving out to me, but guys, try not doing business this way. You'll have more return customers, and less bad reviews (Of which there are many.) I am appreciative of the new truck, don't get me wrong, just very unappreciative of the run-around.

I recently went in to the SeaPort Auto Dealership in Milwaukie Oregon. I received pretty spectacular service from the whole staff really and didn't feel like they were jerkin my chain. These guys are seriously awesome. I was in need of another car after mine was totaled and because of that unexpected incident I didn't know know what I wanted exactly or had any time to research cars. I almost didn't even stop by to look because I wasn't prepared yet but it was recommended to me by a friend and I was already in the area. I was very guarded preparing to deal with pushy salesman who would try to hassle me but I am glad to say that is the complete opposite of what happened. I let them know my situation and that I was just going to look and needed some time to research and decide on my own time. They where very understanding and spend a few hours showing me a few different car and test driving some. I left without buying one with a hassle free experience. It was over a week before I was more prepared to finally purchase another car. I had really liked one car I test drove and called them to see if it was still available but sadly it was sold, the salesman that answered remembered me though and let me know they had one a year newer and actually in black which I had preferred to begin with. I came out, test drove it, loved it, the price was definitely fair and I was out with my car in no time. So bottom line these guys where awesome and I highly recommend if you want a hassle free car buying experience!

We found the truck we wanted on their internet site. We took our truck in to trade in on it. Since it was a three hour drive from home we were able to get a good idea of the amount they would give for our truck and leave home with a very good feeling we would be able to make a deal. Our salesman Ryan (Oakie) was very honest with the whole process. No games, no major haggling, we made an offer, discussed it and actually were given more for our trade in than expected. We actually paid less for the truck than we anticipated WHEN DOES THAT HAPPEN???? I would highly recommend Seaport Auto to anyone looking for any type of car, truck, suv, etc. We are very happy customers and would buy from them again.

We came in and thought there was no way to give us 2,000 for our trade 93 ford f150 and thought only 500 travis says well maybe 800 to our suprise we got way more . Best customer service we have had buying a vehicle. went in with bad credit and i mean bad in the 450s and was able to leave with an amazing car they were so nice all of them 100% honest and up front i will never go anywhere else to get a car. brian was my sales man and he was just amazing honest and didn't try to push me into something i could not afford they were just amazing i had a limit of what i could spend and most places will put you right at the limit not here we came in under and with a warranty. to say it was excellent service would be a understatement. thank you sea port

We were totally ripped off. This place is bad news. We purchased a 2001 Ford Ranger and were told that it had been completely gone through by their mechanics. We purchased on 6/30/2014 and on 7/2/2014 took it to our mechanic in Canby, OR because it was driving weird from a stop and to have the air conditioner looked at and were told that this vehicle is junk. He said the ball joints were toast and the list was 2-1/2 pages long. They also manipulated the codes and reset them so the engine light would go off..ILLEGAL!!! When they call us tomorrow, yeah right, they had better come up with a plan to rectify this.....

I was a first time buyer and wasn't sure if I was even financeable but the sales guy (Travis) worked with me and the credit union until we could get a deal with payments I can afford. I completely LOVE my 2004 Volkswagen Jetta and would recommend buying there to anyone!!!

traded my 03 duramax on what was supose to be a h2 hummer with the adventure package found out 2 weeks later it was not the adventure package took it back they got me into the correct hummer h2 with the adventure package but ended up in much worse shape needing fromt end repairs but still charged me the same for as the one i originally purchased even though it had 30 thousand miles more. and they did not give me the bid my ride price on my trade in either. braught back the hummer 14 months later as my needs had changed and purchased a 03 ford focus whitch blue up 3 days later. aalso baught a 05 dodge 1500 4x4 and on my drive home noticed it has a bad vibration in the front end. called the dealer the next day and ws told to bring it to the service department and they would repair it. when i took it there it had all brand new tires that matched when i got it back i was told it was a tire ballance issue. drove it home with no change in condition except that now one of the tires was not the sale as the other 3. odd scence it had all new tires on it. advised the service department and the general manager that the issue still exists told me that the mechanics say there is nothing wrong with it. i told them i am a mechanic and have been for 25 years and there is a wheel bearing going bad, brake rotors are warped and the front axles need replaced. i have never heard back from them. also advised them that i needed a truch that will tow my trailer and this one will barly tow itself let alone a trailer. they are trying to get me out of it and into something more expensive last i heard but reappy they just want another sale.

Went there to get an oil change and met a nice fellow named Eric. He convinced me to trade in my 94 Ford Taurus for a 2012 Dodge pickup. I was able to trade my old beat up car and get into my dream car for only 5000 down and low payments of 655 a month for 84 months. The only negative I can think of is that Eric had to come to our house to resign some paperwork and after he left my wife said that someone had got into her Panty drawer and had taken several of her panties. Strange.

I brought a car from Seaport in Gresham and first of all they sold me the vehicle with faulty tires. The tire place found over 5 nails enbedded into two tires and they weren't even the right size for the vehicle. Then 2 months later the engine light came on and the car cant even pass deq even after buying the new parts!! Seaport swears up and down that thier vehicles are check properly by a licened mechanic. Uhmph! And they cant do any repairs or detailing of the car in Gresham. They will make u drive all the way to Millwuakie...just to find out that they didn't properly clean the car and stole your cds. They only thing that was ok was that they replaced the windshield for free, probably because I said I wouldnt buy the car with a cracked windshield on the drivers side.

We were told over the phone they would meet a competitors price for a vehicle, in the end it wasnt even in the realm of close to the price!!!!!!! Promises, promises, promises!!! Typical car salesman garbage that we should have known better than to have wasted our time to begin with. The deal ended very quickly and we walked out. The car was advertised as in immaculate condition, and it was filthy they hadn't even cleaned it and it was far from immaculate. We felt they were very dishonest. Would not recommend them!!

As a young married couple, we were excited to go look to buy a new car for our growing family. We knew exactly what we were looking for. When we didn't see what we were looking for, at the price we were looking for, we were persuaded to sit down and fill out a credit application to find out what we were able to purchase. We were hesitant to fill out the application because we didn't even see anything we wanted!!! Then the guy helping us asked to take my key and do an appraisal on my car, like they always do, but when he came back, he scolded us for not having the credit application filled out. "If you would have been writing while I was doing the appraisal, you would be done with those already" .... guess what? We know! We didn't ever want to fill them out anyways!! Why would we fill them out if we didn't see anything we liked?? We also were yelled at asking "Well what do you want then?" "Well what IF I could give you $10,000 for your car today..Then would you buy something?" To this ridiculous question we responed "no" because we know that no dealer could give us $10,000 for our car, and in response he answered, "Well then leave and come back when you are ready to buy a car!" However, HE WOULDN'T LET US LEAVE!!! That is exactly what we were trying to do!! On our way out, his last resort was to get us to talk to his manager. We didn't want to and the manager just responded mockingly with, " Awww I can tell they want to leave. Just let them go. AAH get me out of here! I want out of here!" ... Seriously? We are a respectable couple who both are ready to buy a car for the right price and when we feel comfortable, but NOT FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Want to jump through hoops and waste your valuable time and energy? Want to play phone tag for days on end with virtually no straight answers or results? Then Seaport Auto is just what you're looking for!! Our experience began by communicating exactly what we needed to get for our trade in and what we were offering on Seaports vehicle. After a week of phone calls is seemed like a deal had finally been made and we provided our information for credit. After our credit was pulled, they contacted us and gave us even different numbers than what we had last agreed upon (just hours before). Over the course of the week we had been giving the "sales professionals" the benefit of the doubt, and did their dance, because the vehicle was exactly what we were looking for and we realized that negotiating long distance would have its disadvantages. What a terrible waste of time. Don't trust them on their "BidMyTrade" offer, and don't submit your credit info using their online credit tool.

This was a day we will never get back . The sales folks were friendly and worked with us for several hours unitl we agreed on a price for our trade in and the used vehicle we wanted to buy. We asked for and received what we read as a clean Carfax record for the rig we wanted to buy at the beginning of our visit. At this point it was represented as being in excellent condition with a good history. The Carfax showed a "vehicle serviced" record line item along with several other benign entries. Given the low miles and good record on the vehicle we wanted , we were paying top dollar for it. We were in the process of closing the deal when we were brought a stack of papers from Auto Check and we were asked to initial each page. This report looks a lot like Carfax but is more detailed. The same line item date and mileage from the Carfax report "vehicle serviced" showed up on the Auto Check report as "Collision Repair Performed , Body Service Preformed" from a repair facility in Chicago , IL. We stopped the initialing process at this page in the Auto Check report and started asking questions , the tap dance began , we became upset with the misrepresentation and the inability to answer the question as to what happened to the vehicle in Chicago. It was when we became visabily upset in the showroom that the salesman abrupty went into the sales managers office , returned with our trade in title , and hurried us out the door. This was a horrible waste of our time and the salesmans time. If we had known the vehicle had been in an accident or incident , we would have either rejected the sale or requested an adjustment to the sales price depending on the details of the repair. In conclusion , beware of Carfax , it does not tell the entire story . We cannot recommend SeaPort Auto as a reputible place to work or purchase a used vehicle. Don't waste your precious time here.

By far the worst customer service I have ever received anywhere. They were rude, childish and insulting. I live several hundred miles away and wanted to contact this dealership about an SUV I was interested in. I asked for more pictures than were online, twhich they said they emailed me (never received them). The SUV was listed well above competitor rates and well above Edmunds or KBB values. I attempted to engage in an honest conversation about whether or not they were willing to move on their price. They immediately took the defensive and said they didn't want to "waste their time" with me. Mind you I hadn't even offered an amount I was willing to pay, I was simply asking if they were solid on their asking price. I received short 1 word answers from the first individual, and when he became flustered the sales manager (I suppose) came on the IM window. He was even ruder, saying I knew nothing about the auto industry and then proceeded to be a childish jerk by asking me what I did for a living and taking stabs at it. Again, all this without me ever stating what price I was willing to pay. Stay away! stay far far away from this dealership. If they are too simple minded to understand that by offering an online chat with a sales representative is the same as me standing on their sales room floor, then they don't deserve anyone's business. Just look at all of the other reviews, and know this place is shady and you will be treated like crap for wanting to spend money here.

Soooo fishy! Check out their "positive" reviews online and you'll see they are about one sentence long. I'm guessing they got their friends and family to write them.The negative ones are a lot longer, with specifics, like this one. They listed a car we had been searching for so my husband stopped by on his way to work. First guy told him it was at the Gresham lot, second guy told him it was already sold, third guy said it was in the shop. They continued to list it on their website and on craiglist. A week later my husband called to see what the latest answer was. One guy told him it was "in the shop waiting on a part". On a lark, he called the Gresham lot and the salesman he spoke to said he was "looking at it out the window right now."A few days later my husband rolled through the McLoughlin lot just out of curiosity and saw the car. It had a plate from another dealership in town that is known in Subaru circles for taking in wrecked cars, repairing them, and selling them as "clean title". Then the thing showed up the next day for sale by owner on craiglist. Not worth your time!

Don't purchase from these people!! If you must, take the vehicle to a mechanic!!!!! I bought my car 10 days ago, since then I've had to get new tires, alignment and balance, and just found out the brakes and rotors are shot! 500.00 repair! They refused to fix any of it!Read reviews, bad reviews are all over the web on how seaport sells vehicles that people later have to put more money into! Seaport acts like they are doing you a deed and a good deal. They're not! They changed the deal we agreed to, changed the selling price to 2500 more! We found out our car was in an accident , all they said was the carfax didn't show it. No crap! Carfax only reveals totaled cars or cars with certain amount of damage, it doesn't reveal fender benders. I thought I was getting great service until a few hours passed and I realized the reality. Youd be better off going to the cheap car lot next door ..we looked at one of their cars and within 5 minutes they said they'd put new tires on and dropped the price 2 grand. Just because a car lot sales higher Valued cars doesnt mean they are better!!Seaport doesn't work with you!Research them, you'll see for yourself. I wish I researched first!!

My name is John Smith, and when I stopped by to take a look at cars I expected what we all do. The endless back and form and you can't get a straight answer. That just could easily end with out completing a purchase only to have to do it all again. We'll I'm a big enough guy to admit when I wrong and I was. The sales person (Chuck) that helped me was very knowledgeable and sincere, not only that one the guy we all hate. You know the one that runs back and forth and talk to the guy behind the door. or the window can rate out asked a couple of question the bank had and the next time I saw we were shaking hands and I had the Truck and The Deal I wanted.. Great Job Guys!

Should have checked out the ratings before we went there on 12/1/12. They gave us crap $2000) for our 2001 Dodge (which was in great mechanical condition and well cared for) They then listed the Dodge for $5800 and sold us a tired truck that needed work immediately. Price? 11500 for a 2003 Chevy Silverado 3/4 ton with a duramax diesel and 171k miles on it. Worn out tires, no spare, no jack and one key with one key fob. Within 1 week we found several problems that could have caused major disaster. Since purchasing this piece of work we have spent close to $2000 in repairs, (have the receipts to show for it) on the following expenses:Enclosed are copies of expenses I had to pay for repair on the vehicle you sold to me on 12/1/2012 after I placed my trust on the line with you regarding the state of the vehicle. I requested and was told unequivocally that this vehicle had undergone a safety check of its state of repair. This has been proven to be a LIE. To wit:12/2/2012 Purchase 2nd coded key and key fob for spouse - $97.0012/12/12 Inspection by NW Auto- Surge tank has oil residue, removed and cleaned, suspect oil leak on right side head gasket. Other items needing repair listed on invoice: Cost $105.00 Pitman arm has play, likewise for idler arm.Rear brakes and rotors badly worn estimated life 25%. (replacement planned for March)Power steering Pressure line from pump needs replacing. 12/17/12 Power steering pressure lines replaced by NW Auto. Cost $149.70Transmission cooler lines are leaking, need replacing, and possible pump seal replacement. 12/26/12 Inspection by Cottman Transmission in Vancouver, WA revealed leakage on Front pump seal and transmission cooler lines. Was not covered under limited warranty Repaired on 1/9/12 Cost $781.87.Tires have weather checks cracking. Suggested no additional weight until replaced. REPLACED 1/19 WITH 4 USED TIRES AT COST OF $400NOTE: OIL HAD NOT BEEN CHANGED SINCE UNKNOWN DATE, LIKEWISE FOR AIR FILTER. BOTH WERE BLACK WITH SMUDGE, OIL LOW VISCOSITY Cost $65.7412/17/12 Oil Filter $12.34, Air Filter (plugged) $15.99 Fuel treatment $3.99, purchased 3 gallons of HD diesel motor oil Cost 33.42.12/20/12 Purchased spare tire and rim as one not provided with vehicle, (provided own jack) Cost 84.501/4/13 Engine light on. check engine codes reveals EGR valve is bad. Est 605.00 to repair/replace.NOT completed repairs: Heater control unit is bad, digital setting will not stay set, replacement 80 to 100$Replace Drivers side mirror as defrost sensor inoperable Approx cost is unknown.Replace AM/FM/CD as Cd is inoperable approx cost is 180Find and fix leak on drivers side floor, possible in cowling vent Estimated cost is 250.00Replace carpeting in truck estimated $200 (due to mildew and mold)Additional repairs are shocks, struts and pittman arms.While we are aware that some of this is buyer responsibility, we were not only dismayed to see that Seaport dealt out such poor quality and repair, but that they did not step up to the plate and offer to do something. They did keep calling us to "see if we had purchased a vehicle from them" and when told of the complaint and issues we were facing with the unit, we were told "well, we will see if there is anything we can do for you" and never heard from them again. They did this 3 times, Jeff was so upset that he lost his temper and yelled at one of the guys, later he apologized for it. Seaport advertises that they sell quality trucks and cars. I for one can tell you they don't. Buyer Beware is more apt a slogan for them. I make sure to tell anyone I speak with not to go there and why. BAIT AND PROMISE, DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE BUYER. NO SCRUPLES AT ALL! If I could manage to convince anyone not to go there it would ease my mind.

Unable to begin negotiations with this dealer. All they wanted was for me to come in and testdrive the vehicle. I live 400 miles away so I expected to be able to negotuiate over the phone. I made a cash offer, but they would not act on it. Just kept asking me to come in.

This dealership did the old "bait and switch." I saw a great car online, called them and asked if it was still in, I was told that they still had it, within an hour I was at the dealership, and was told that the car had been sold a half hour before. Against my better judgment, I took a look at a different car there. The price was about $3,000 more than I had in my budget, but I was told that the price was negotiable (again, I should have known better). I had a salesman who was relatively helpful during the test drive, then I had to wait around for an hour before another salesman (the "closer") came out and told me that my budget was way too low. I stood by my budget, and after about an hour the owner came out and yelled at me that there was no way they were selling the car for that price. I left the building, and was chased out in the parking lot and told that maybe if I came back in they could work with me a little. I ended up paying $2,000 more than I had budgeted, but at least I had a decent car, right? I took it into the auto repair shop and was told that it was a miracle I hadn't been killed since the brake pads were bare and there was almost no transmission fluid! The whole experience made me feel dirty (also, there are signs up in front of the building letting you know that the tables are bugged so that they can listen to you when they are not present).

Shame on us. We purchased a truck and it didn't run right we took it back three time with in a 24 hour period. Purchased the 2nd truck that also broke down and sat four hours on the side of the road. As they said they went above the call and sent us a loaner truck to pull the 27 foot camp trailer we also purchased from them. Would fix this truck for us again remember this is in less then 6 hours of purchasing the 2nd truck. After thinking about it over the weekend we decided we shouldn't buy any other vehicle from them.and would just get the trade in back a 2010 mazda. After talking with the GM he told us how he had put allot of time and money into the first truck and that he would stand behind the work and that we should buy it. We like fools did purchase it only on that he had fixed the problems if one came up with the fuel. Well three weeks later the same problem is back and when we took it to another shop they cant seem to see what they had fix. In-fact they didn't change the oil, needs a tune up transfer case fluid is bad ECT ECT the list goes on. This is what we should have done in the first place We don't except them to fix everything just what was wrong when they sold it to us and said they had fixed it. Remind you that they said they would stand behind there repairs. When asked to furnish the records of all the repairs they did, well guess what they don't have that! I would never tell anyone to go to these guys I am sorry that we believed they where good people. The bid to fix the truck that drives me to work is $ 4214.00 and I haven't even made my first truck payment. Scott said they would look over the time line of when it was in the shop and see if they can help. We haven't heard from them yet. go figure

so i found a vehicle online and called sea-port and got all the info. i than proceeded to do the online financing, explained to them about my trade. And the finance person told me they would be able to get the financing done. So the next day my girlfriend and her three little girls drove the 3 hours to get there. They showed me the vehicle and than it happened. Apparently the vehicle i wanted could only be financed at 80% and the day before it would be fine. and they had a bank who would loan on an older vehicle but just not the one i wanted. so they tried to get me to buy a newer vehicle for more money and of course way more money down. Besides the vehicle has several recalls and the manufacture has several law suits against it which of course the salesman on the test drive told me about.
