I recently purchased my third vehicle from Ridge Road Imports. They're fair and easy to work with, making the buying process quick. The first vehicle I purchased from Ridge Road Imports I had for 13 years, so it was definitely a quality car. They were the first place I stopped when it was time to replace that vehicle, and I signed the paperwork for a newer vehicle that same day. I just traded that for something larger, and it was another pleasant experience with Ray and Elliot.

I came to Ridge Road many years back looking for a quality used vehicle. Ray, the owner, found me just the vehicle I was looking for. The vehicle needed routine service once in a while, and I went to Ridge Road Imports Service, which is on the same premises. Being a female (accountant), I had been "fleeced" before, and was always wary because I know next to nothing about cars. EXCELLENT service, mechanics talked to me with respect, good explanations, accurate estimates, and timely completions of work. I have purchased every single one of my subsequent vehicles since then from Ridge Road, because they can always find me what I need. At times, I have had some very specific requests, like the vehicle must be a stick and be able to fit four Greyhounds in the back for one example. Recently I totaled my car, that I had purchased from Ridge Road. I was very upset and also heartbroken because I loved the car, and really demand a stick as opposed to an automatic. Elliott and Ray took SUCH good care of me. They found me the SAME model of car, (in a nicer color!), much newer, and it's a stick!!! Everyone at Ridge Road that I have dealt with over the years is both professional and friendly. They are eager to please their customers, and have gone out of their way to find me and friends the cars they want and need. I wholeheartedly recommend Ridge Road Imports without reservation to anyone looking for a quality used car and/or excellent and reasonably priced and honest servicing of your car in a timely manner.

I had been looking for months for a Subaru Baja. They are pretty rare. These folks had a 2005 that looked good, so after some emails and calls I drove 100 miles from Rochester to take a look and possibly trade my 2001 Outback. The Baja was as clean and ran as well as I had been led to believe by Elliot, and I bought the Baja. At home I discovered that the driver's side door lock didn't work. I took the car in to my local Subaru dealer to get that fixed and have some routine maintenance performed and have the car checked out in detail, even though I was pretty sure there was nothing seriously wrong with it. The dealer confirmed that the car was in good shape, and estimated the lock repair. This repair would not have been covered by Ridge Road's warranty and I knew that, but I thought a call to them was in order anyway. Elliot offered to split the cost of the lock repair. So I had the repair done by my dealer and sent Elliot the bill. In a matter of days I received a check for the agreed-upon amount. It would have been easy for these folks to walk away from this, but they didn't. Over the years I've bought LOTS of cars from lots of dealers. Some of those experiences were good, some not so good. From beginning to end, this experience was one of the good ones. I would deal with these people again. You should too.

We needed a car that would be within our budget. We wanted a safe car (we have kids and other kids in the car often), that is good in the snow, gets great mpg, and is super reliable and high quality. We came and test drove the Honda Fit and Prius C, cuz we wanted a small, hip, multifunctional car. Elliot also suggested that we test drive a Honda Civic, as he thought it was the best fit for our needs. He was right! The Prius was too small, and our kids voted for the comfort of the Civic, and it got the same gas mileage as the Fit, but the Civic was a better value for us. We bought the car feeling totally reassured that everyone we know swears by the integrity of Ridge Road (I called our trusted mechanic to ask if we should bring the car to have him look it over, and he said "Don't even bother bringing the car in, everything we've seen from Ridge Road is great"). Great deal. Totally satisfied. Rock on Ridge Road.

In stark contrast to the other local dealerships, these folks were helpful without being pushy. They were friendly, accommodating, and gave me a very reasonable offer. They readily agreed to have my mechanic check it, and it passed easily without any surprises. The one little thing my mechanic found, Ridge Road fixed right away, without being asked. The paperwork was handled efficiently, and everyone was very knowledgeable. Based on this experience, I recommend them highly.

We were very pleased with our purchase at Ridge Road.....it was the best car buying experience we have ever had. We did not feel pressured, the price was fair, once we purchased the car all the paperwork was done very quickly. We love our new, used car - it is in terrific condition!

I am very pleased that I made the drive to check out Ridge Road Imports in Lansing. I am from Corning and had been searching for a car for a few months. I knew what I wanted but didn't like any of the models that I test drove. I found Ridge Road Imports online and liked their inventory. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The car I was interested in looked better in person than online. I was greeted with friendly staff and was test driving with in minutes. Elliot and Ray were wonderful to work with. Very knowledgeable and not pushy. We agreed on a deal that afternoon and they took care of the rest. I will be purchasing all my future vehicles through them and I highly recommend others to do the same!

I have been a customer of Ridge Road Imports and Ray Tuhro, owner/operator, for over 28 years purchasing a Nissan Sedan, Subaru Legacy Wagon, BMW 325xi and other older vehicles. Ray and his staff are courteous, honest, affable and price their inventory fairly. I have never had an experience where Mr. Tuhro did not honor his clearly stated warantees subject to his dealership. I highly recommend Ridge Road Imports to customers seeking an honest dealer with excellent quality vehicles for sale.
