This was my 21 yr old daughters first experience buying a car. The saleswomen Keon Thyravong was fabulous. There was no pressure to buy that second. My daughter had a budget and had a model in mind. The manager even worked to bring the price down lower on a 2014 and throw in about $1,800 of extras at no charge that were on the next model up that she could not afford. The only unpleasant part was the finance guy and his high pressure sales of the extended warranty. We said no and he kept pushing it and became obnoxious when we said no a third time. He made it almost sound like Hondas were inferior cars and you must get this or else the scare tactic was terrible. My daughter tried to lighten the mood and said it was her coffee money that would have to pay for the extra warranty. When she was going to leave the dealership with her new car the finance guy came out and was like oh you purchased an Insight they are the most expensive to fix and by the way enjoy your coffee. I was shocked. I have purchased many cars over the years and never ran into somebody so rude. Everything else about this dealership was so pleasant, but this was such a turn off. I will fore warn anybody I tell about this guy it was so unpleasant.

After 10 years, we decided to get new vehicle, we hate buying a car and have been putting it off. After talking to Port Charlotte Honda on the phone we decided to give them a try even though they were about hour from our home..so glad we did. Amazing and incredible car buying experience and customer service! Our salesman, John Sennett,was awesome! He made the whole car experience painless and a lot of fun. Mr. Sennett helped us find the perfect car for our family at best possible price. There was no stress or games.. it was quick and easy. In addition, Edwin Benson, the Business Manager and Al Trudeau, Service Manager continued to make our car buying experience perfect. John, Edwin, and Al truly went out of their way for our family. We are truly grateful to them. Port Charlotte Honda is the only place to buy a car- used or new!

From the moment we walked in the door we were treated with respect and care. Dawson, Josh and Jose were great to work with - they worked tirelessly for us until we got the exact color car we wanted at the right price! They even put cartoons on for our three year old to preoccupy him through the whole process. True professionals and I will tell everyone I know to buy VW and to buy at Charlotte Honda VW!!!

This dealer claimed to have a particular car I wanted and set up an appointment for me to come in and purchase it. I let them know how serious I was and even discussed forms of payment. I showed up two days later as scheduled and the sales rep wasn't even available. I waited for some time in an unpleasant waiting area (dark and smelled badly) only to be told that they don't have such a car. Of course they wanted to sell me another. What a joke. I drove an hour to purchase a particular model and color of car. No surprise finding an untrustworthy car dealer, but this one sank to a new low. This is Dec 2013, so don't buy that line about new management either.

I went to Charlotte Honda of Port Charlotte and was immediately welcomed by a guy outside I asked for Paul Balcomb. I was originally going there just to look at my options I had my first car still I was getting tired of he let me test drive a few and did everything possible to help me. I wanted more of a muscle car because I've always wanted one but he suggested and found one that would work better for me especially on gas. I like that I didn't feel pressured to buy anything or get anything I didn't want he found a car that fits me perfect. The whole staff is friendly and very helpful it was a long process looking at and driving a few cars but I didn't mind spending my time there and leaving with a brand new car was amazing, anyone looking for a car I will defiantly refer them to him and the dealership and when I'm ready for my next car in a few years I'll be back.

I walked into Charlotte Honda of Port Charlotte and immediately I was already welcomed warmly by the lovely lady at the front desk. I felt welcome there when asked who I was looking for. I asked for Mr. Paul Balcomb and he did all he could to help me. I had a beater and needed a nice newer car that was safer and more fuel efficient. He was right on it. Charlotte Honda has a great salesman on their team because I didn't feel like I was being pressured into buying something I didn't want. Really, the whole staff rocks. I would definitely refer anyone I know that is looking to buy a car to Paul Balcomb.

Although John Howard was nice enough, he picked out our CRV. He started out "test driving" the CRV. Never had the salesman "test drive" for us. After a while he pulled over and let me test drive. . He came back at one point knowing I didn't want the silver, the sales manager told him to "make me like it". This is the second car we bought there. We were impressed that we didn't have to wait around for a salesman to greet us, he is a go getter.

I went into the dealership looking for a car. I found a Honda Element that I was interested in. I was there for 1 1/2 hours waiting on them to find the keys to this car. I was waiting inside and saw close to 10 other salesman standing around doing nothing. I went over and asked if they could possibly help the guy that was working with me find the keys. I then went on to explain that I had been sitting here for quite sometime and no progress had been made in trying to sell me a car (the keys hadn't been found and my car that I was trading in had yet to be appraised). The General Sales Manager, Dathan, explained that it was not his problem if they were unable to find me a car and that if I was unhappy with how I was being treated, I could just leave. I have never in my life been spoken to in such a manner. I later called the General Manager. Brian, he explained that he was standing there the entire time and saw nothing wrong with what Dathan had said to me. I then went on to call corporate and they basically said that there was nothing they could do because the dealership itself does the hiring. I'm mortified and will never even think about buying a car from this dealership.

This was my 2nd new Honda Odyssey purchased from this dealership and it was a very good experience again. Christopher Cwik was excellent again in having everthing taken care of for us, he had the van waiting ready out front when we got there and in a very short time we were driving the new Odyssey home even with a full detail done! The customer service here by everyone is not matched by any other dealership in this area in my opinion from the sales group to the service group. I will keep coming back and would recommend Christopher Cwik to anyone buying a new auto at Port Charlotte Honda.

This is my 2nd time going to the Port Charlotte Honda dealer--I bought my very 1st Honda Civic in Florida then. I had been to another Honda dealer to get my 2nd Honda CRV else where. I returned back to Port Charlotte Honda as I had a good comparison with my experiences. I was very pleased to have been greeted by Valerie Charles outside as we got out of my 1997 Honda(It was hard to part with, I must admit) whom I informed that I was just getting ideas as I wasn't ready to part with my car as yet. I remember my 1st experience with Honda of Port Charlotte and I really felt good about that entire experience of buying my 1st Honda...so I wanted to return to having a similar experience. My daughter and I were NOT disappointed. Valerie was easy to talk to with a no pressure attitude...she asked questions and suggested leasing a car which I hadn't considered as I was used to owning. She provided some of the reasons for leasing and they seemed to fit my needs. She seemed to work easily with her boss, Russell and Jose Figueroa, down to the receptionist at the desk which gave the place a team feel...this made it much more a pleasant place to be. I felt that Valerie was there to represent my interests. I really appreciate her, and her boss(who was helpful in making the best deal for both parties.) Jose , in Financing ,was very patient with all my questions and provided me with a better understanding of the leasing process. He went the extra mile to check on something that might've been missed by someone less focused on customer satisfaction My longtime mechanic encouraged me to see the Port Charlotte Honda to check out options in case I did want to sell when I mentioned that I got a flyer for memorial Day deals from the Honda in Port Charlotte. He had heard good things from another one of his customers about this place. With all this, I decided to check it out and the rest is history. I'm still missing my car that served me so well for over 13 years. I leased the same make and model but a different color with all the updated features that makes life so sweet. HOnda of Port Charlotte is MY PLACE to go !! My 1st experience with a woman salesperon proved to be a HUGE success to boot!!

Yves is a great salesman and I recommend him to anyone. He found the perfect car for me and my 8th month old. He was caring, compassionate and remembered all of the features that I wanted in a car. I have never had such a great experience buying a vehicle. Most sales men usually try to give me the run around because I am a woman, but John was very professional and made the whole car buying process a very easy experience. He was very patient with me because I wanted to drive a few vehicles, numerous times (I couldnt decide what vehicle I wanted because they were all so well kept). Everyone involved in the process was very nice. I had the BEST finance manager Edwin Benson, he was just the sweetest man I ever met and did all the paper work lightning fast. They really worked with me and made me feel like I made the right decision.

We had one of the best experiences ever buying a new car! My wife and I found the sales rep, Valerie Charles to be exceptional! She was very knowledgeable about all the Honda vehicles and answered all our quesstions. We had no intentions of buying at this point, just wanted to test drive a few vehicles. We test drove the CRV, viewed the Odyssey and Accord then test drove the Honda Cross Tour. Valerie was very helpful in answering all our questions about the Cross Tour and we were convinced it was the right vehicle for us. Valerie walked us through the entire buying process, no high pressure, no hassles, and we ended up with the deal we wanted, after trading in a 2001 BMW. Valerie and her entire team, made our experience of buying a new car a very pleasureable one! 32 days from buying a 2011 used car from there it left my mom stranded in Miami an we had to have it towed back . we later took it back to them an they said it was my moms fault why it broke an she would have to pay for it her self,so we tried to see if they could just put her in something else equal or less value an they said they couldn't. so now shes not only stuck with a undependable car we found out that the loan they have her going thro is some type of 2nd lender which has an even higher apr then normal and now shes underwater with her car loan

Bought a certified Honda Accord had a great experience. John Howard and Zack worked very hard for me and were happy to explain things in straight forward terms. The guys went above and beyond and even got me a better rate on my loan. They gave me payoff on my trade ( even though it was upside down) and were able to get me an extended warranty without going outside my budget. And to top it off both these guys are Military Veterans. Do yourself a favor and go see these guys if you are in the market.

My husband and I went to Port Charlotte Honda merely to look at the Honda Accord and the Volkswagen Passet. Christopher Cwik was our salesman and had us test drive both vehicles.. If it were not for Chris, we would not have purchased our 2013 Honda Accord. Chris was very polite, professional, and very knowledge about the car we were interested in. Dustin Smith was recommended to me by Jean Boussicot. I met Jean the day before and he was quite professional yet friendly as we looked for a used car. I left and returned the next day to find that he was not in and went to Dustin-Jean's recommendation. I wanted to compare new to used. Dustin was most knowledgeable and polite as we looked at, test drove and purchased a new Honda Civic. He explained everything I was signing and negogtiated the final price in my favor-several times. I will return when I need another car.I will definitely steer my friends toward Dustin. Dustin is a definite asset to the business and if all salesmen were like him you would sell more cars.

I started out with a Civic Hybrid, traded in a Ford. Good deal for sure, heard me out on what I wanted. I was pleased enough I came back when our other car was ready to be traded. Any and ALL issues at all were handled like pros, not presured "into" anything. This was true with both of our sales.
