We had an excellent experience with Plaza Ford, where we purchased a 2021 Explorer. Josh Burrs was a pleasure to deal with from first contact via the Ford web site to our test drive and to our eventual purchase. We appreciate the dealer's transparency and honesty, and our family was treated in a professional and friendly manner throughout the process. At the financial table, they were honest and not at all pushy. Despite the hour-ish drive from home, we would be happy to patronize this family-owned business again! Wonderful experience, and that is definitely NOT a given for car dealers!

We custom ordered a Ford Transit 15-Passenger Van and it arrived within 6 weeks from the date Ford started production. As with all previous purchases, we were treated with great respect and professionalism from the time we walked into the showroom, until the last minute the final deal was accomplished in the finance department. I would recommend anyone go to Plaza Ford in Bel Air, as it is truly a family run business and everyone is very welcoming. Special thanks goes out to Josh, Hue and Tom, for making the buying experience excellent as always.

Had our Ford Escape (which we bought at Plaza Ford) serviced for an air conditioner problem. They suspected a leak but they couldn't find it.They charged $170 for essentially no results. We took it back again when the AC stopped working and they charged us again to charge the AC system that they couldn't repair the first time and we wound up paying in total $500 to have an AC charge and hose replaced... Wow! When I spoke to the service manager he was dismissive and abrupt. I won't take my car there again for service! Fool me once... Update: Plaza Ford made some weak attempts to resolve my problems and then they eventually stopped communicating all together and ignored my repeated attempts to reach out to them. Hugely disappointing!!!! Final Update: Plaza Ford did nothing to help with bad service from their service department (ironically named). We will never buy a car or use their service dept. again!

Used the Quick Lane for an oil change and tire rotation. Very polite, said they were about an hour wait to get vehicle started, offered a shuttle service if I could leave it for a bit. Took the shuttle home, got a ton of stuff finished. When the truck was ready they picked me up took me back. Was a great day.

Go see Gordy Mueller at Plaza Ford. I needed a truck to replace my other. After looking online at available trucks at Plaza Ford I needed to find time to stop by and see the truck in person. It happened to be on my busy day but stopped anyway. Gordy was exiting the building and asked if I needed help which I did. I told him I was in a hurry and would like to start the buying process but come back after the weekend to finish upHe had me out of there in 30 mins with the paperwork to bring to my financial institution. Went back the following Monday pick up the truck within 30 mins and he even included some free oil changes. Never pushy, very easy to talk with and quick. It was finally a pleasure to go to a dealership. If you are in the market for a new or used vehicle do yourself a favor and see Gordy Mueller at Plaza Ford. You won't regret it!

Went in to meet with Frank on the advice of a friend. We had a car we found from a different dealer and asked him what he could do for us, practically handing him the sale if his price was competitive. The first impression he gave us was unwelcoming and that we were wasting his time, even though we handed him the car we wanted and we told him we were ready to sign today. Didn't seem to want to help us. Again, his first impression was unwelcoming, we were not an important sale to him. In fact, he literally did not even sit down with us. Stood the whole time. Our minds were made up that we did not want to work with him no matter what price he came back with unless it was really good. Now he came back with a decently competitive price but rolled his eyes and laughed when we said we needed it lower. As teachers we can't stand rolling the eyes and passive rudeness. Said absolutely not happening. We left. Nothing more to be done. On the way out we met with the GM who also said it wasn't happening. We were done there. We ended up going to Packer Ford a few minutes down the road and the experience was the exact opposite. Sales was very helpful, found the car we wanted, and sold us a better one at the other car's price that we drove home today. Steer clear from Plaza and go to Packer if you want a great car buying experience.

Received email stating my Fusion was due for 30K check up but when I called I was told that was for older cars. My car only needed an oil change and tire rotation. Fine. Service done but paper work not available at that time. I find this unacceptable. Service rep said everything was OK. Today I received invoice in the mail and the tech wrote that my tires had marginal tread and I would need new tires in the near future. This is precisely why I want a copy of my invoice!!!

Three weeks ago we ventured into Plaza Ford looking for a vehicle to replace our Honda Odyssey. We had already been to CarMax as well as some other big name dealerships. My wife was looking for a particular used vehicle with some particular options. We thought it would be a simple process, but we really got the runaround from all the other dealers. When we first pulled into Plaza's parking lot, we were pleasantly greeted by a gentleman whom introduced himself as Gordy Mueller. After a few brief words, he said "take your time, look around and if you see something you like, I'll grab the keys and you guys can take it for a test drive". So after test driving one like she wanted, she was pretty much sold on this particular car. Now all we had to do was locate the exact model with the exact color, and the options she was looking for. After the test drive, we consulted briefly with Gordy, and and at that moment we knew we wanted to buy a vehicle from this guy! Gordy was extremely accommodating, and didn't once suggest we look at another similar vehicle, or another color, but rather suggested that they would locate and find the vehicle we were looking for and one in our budget as well. We are so pleased to say that with teamwork from Hugh Hanley, the General Sales Manager, and Tom Walls, the President & CEO that we have found my wife her dream car! Thanks also to Mike Edzik, the Finance Manager, and the lot service man who were all instrumental in delivering this vehicle after business hours, and for providing a "Super Car Buying Experience"

This was hands down the most amazing oil change i've experienced in my 18 years of driving. The synthetic blend running through my v8 is the stuff dreams were made of. This baby purrs like a tiger after getting a few fresh quarts and those freshly rotated tires are hugging the curves of those back roads on my way to/from my mundane office job. The waiting room had a similar feel to a spa at the Four Seasons and my service advisor provided in-depth, stimulating conversation during my wait. I'd come back every 500 miles if I could...

I purchased a 2016 F150, 3.5 ecoboost. The staff was very polite (please, thank you, ma'am, sir). It wasn't until we showed them a lower offer from a different dealer that they started to respect my budget and that they were suddenly able to make my budget work on that truck. I know everyone needs to make money (I'm a business person myself) but don't try to pressure someone into buying something out of their budget just because you want to make a sale...that's in part how our economy was destroyed in 2008! With the exception of the budget issue above, they were helpful and nice to work with. I've already recommended them to a friend. N

The only thing I didn't like was that a lady who came in after me for and oil change also was done before me. I had checked in and was sitting there for a few moments when she then came in and they seemed to take her car into the bays before mine. I saw them drive her car in and mine was still out in the parking lot. The wait for my car was very reasonable once they took my car.

Had a scheduled oil change and lubrication. My service included a tire rotation along with a number of other standard maintenance checks such as brakes, all lights and turn signals,4-wheel drive system, belts and hoses, other fluid levels, tire pressure and wear, battery cells, coolant level, and all the items that make for a safe trip long distance or to the corner drug store. I asked for new tire prices while I was there, and was supplied with printouts of three different recommendations based on my driving habits. A great experience with a helpful staff. No appointment necessary. Bring in your vehicle at any time during business hours to Quick Lube at Plaza Ford. Always a pleasure.

My wife and I were considering looking for a new car and because I had a Ford Fusion that we were happy with, that is what we decided to look for. Being content with the service we have received at Plaza Ford, we went there to "look at cars".We went to the showroom and we were greeted by Gordy Mueller that spoke with us. He explained the various options that are available and the model offerings. We looked at the Fusion and asked if we could test drive a Fusion Hybrid. We noted how comfortable and quiet the car was and how much pep the car had without slamming the throttle to the floor.We bought the Fusion Hybrid and are very pleased with the power, performance, comfort and low noise level the car has. We chose Plaza Ford not only for it close proximity to our house, but the friendly staff. Also Gordy Mueller was pleasant and very helpful and not pushy to us in making our decision.The Ford window sticker reads that the Fusion Hybrid averages 44 city and 41 highway MPG. We are getting a combined city/highway MPG of 51.7 It should do even better when the engine breaks in.Plaza had a nice selection to choose from with nice pricing and a friendly staff. Made the decision process easy.If the system allows 5 stars we give them 6 stars.

Everyone knows that when shopping for a car, regardless of the dealer it is usually the salesman who gets all the work done. I'm a college student who went with my mom to look at cars, and while most women would never imagine doing this for fear of being taken advantage of or not taken seriously enough, Gordy made sure we were taken care of. He was beyond friendly, he went above and beyond expectations to make sure I was in a safe vehicle, and he gave off such a good vibe of trust. I never felt like Gordy was just trying to make the sale. We have bought from him at previous dealers that he worked at, and this time was just like all the others-outstanding. Not only did Gordy get the 2013 Ford Escape Titanium I wanted in budget, he also threw in 2 new tires because the back ones didn't look as good as the front and we worried about them passing PA state inspection. Gordy was an absolute pleasure to work with and never pressured us or tried to scam us. You can tell that he genuinely cares about his customers and wants the absolute best for them. A few months ago, I found myself in a predicament where I needed a car and I could not find anything within my price range. I went to car dealerships every day for almost 2 weeks, sometimes revisiting the same dealerships and adjusting my spending to the higher end of my budget. I finally make my way to Plaza Ford, I should have just made that my first stop because I came across Gordy and man was he a blessing sent from heaven! Gordy was the ONLY salesman that did not sit behind a computer AT my entire whole entire visit! Gordy took the time to get to know me as well as exactly what I wanted in a vehicle. Gordy was also the only salesman that kept me under my budget with everything I wanted in a vehicle. For now on, I know that I will only be buying vehicles from Plaza Ford; all of the staff I met were awesome, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We were looking to buy a second Ford Edge but couldn't believe how the prices had gone up since 2012. Gordy showed us an auction car that had just came in that was a 2013 with only 19,900 miles on it. It had a lot of bells and whistles on it but he sold it to us for an awesome price. The visualization someone has of a car salesman is a person that is very aggressive and sticks like Velcro. That is not the case with Gordy Mueller at Plaza Ford. From the beginning I was cheerfully greeted upon entering the show room. Following introductions and an inquiry about how he could assist, Gordy accompanied me to the lot to show the choices available in the model indicated. As I was not dressed in my best attire on that day and probably looked as if I could not afford a bicycle, Gordy treated me with respect. Following a test drive of a selected car. After the test drive, I told Gordy about the necessary options and acceptable color and that my wife would have to see the car. Long story, short. We purchased the car from Gordy. No pressure. We would certainly recommend Gordy Mueller at Plaza Ford as the sales person to request.

I had bought a car from the salesman Keith, and a few months later realized I was unhappy with the car. I tried to contact Keith but never received a call back. I called the sales manager Hugh and he was so upset about this. I was assigned to another salesman and met by both Hugh and the new salesman Gary when I arrived. Both were great guys and super nice. Hugh was determined to do whatever it took to make sure I was satisfied and got a great deal. Ended up trading in my old car and getting a new one. Gary was a great salesman and Hugh was awesome too! Also the rest of the staff was really enjoyable! The woman who helped me finance and even the young man who showed me all the gadgets in my new car. Although my first experience there wasn't so great, the second one sure made up for it.

I initially came to Plaza Ford about nine months ago to test drive cars. My intention was to narrow down what type of car I'd be saving for to purchase in the future. I ended up working with Gordy, and he seemed genuinely okay with sharing information, letting me test drive cars, and leaving it at that.As fate would have it, I showed up this week with a car in mind and an appointment with Hugh. Hugh was kind enough to pass me back to Gordy when he realized my father and I had met with him previously. Gordy again was knowledgable about the vehicle and gave me space to consider the option of buying. When I realized a new car could be an financially reachable for me, he was so patient in helping me to navigate through what I wanted (and didn't want) out of the car and helped me find the perfect vehicle. He answered every question I had, even the obnoxious ones that were basic but I didn't know as a first time car buyer.Even better was that there was never any pressure to buy, from Gordy or Hugh. They let me stay past closing time and take a few walks around the parking lot to let the idea simmer. Never once did they seem annoyed or put out by any questions, comments, or need for time to consider. What a blessing that was to know I was in no way forced into a choice but it was purely mine. They were constantly reassuring me that they wanted me to be confident in my decision, whether it was to buy or sell, and I believe they were each genuine.Gordy was also incredibly knowledgeable and patient in explaining the numbers part of car buying. It is a huge commitment, and I feel confident that I have made a wise (and exciting!) choice. He even took the time to again reiterate what I was getting into and showed me all of my options as far as monthly payments go. He showed me exactly what my money was paying for, and I got a great deal that was fair to both parties.I am so pleased with my experience with everyone I encountered at Plaza Ford. They made this task an easy and enjoyable one.

plaza ford didn't have the used car inventory some of its competitors have but the quality of their used cars was excellent. I felt confident I was getting a mechanically sound car for a reasonable price and if I had an issue they would make it right. I dealt with salesman Gordy Mueller and would gladly recommend him to any potential car buyer I'd come across. He was courteous, well informed and got me the best deal and financing available for my credit status. Since purchasing the Ford Escape I've had a couple questions, emailed Gordy and he got right back to me. This is the first American car I've purchased since 1972 and hopefully I won't be disappointed.

Last visit the tech did not reset the oil change reminder so I had to deal with that for 7500 miles because when I called the service writer he said to bring it in and wait or drop it off. I was not about to do that just to reset a reminder that should've been set right the first time. This time I went thru QuickLube where I have always had the best service. So far, no light.

My experience with Plaza Ford body shop was as painless as possible, considering dealing with the insurance company of the person who hit me was pretty terrible. I was kept up to date with the work being handled at Ford, and was very happy when I picked up my car after it was finished. From what I can tell, the work (including body work and paint) were both perfect. I bought my car new at Plaza, and am happy to take it back for service, and will certainly take it back for any future body work if the need arises.

From first contact, we were afforded all information and answers that we needed in order to make a decision on purchasing an Escape. All personnel were friendly, helpful, informative and did not exert any unwanted pressure to buy.All went well with the paperwork and leaving with the vehicle was without problems.Our only concerns were related to the training about the features of the new vehicle. Due to not being up on all the latest technical aspects of the vehicle, we felt we needed more assistance in that area. The time spent on this area was not sufficient for our comfort zone.

I have a 2013 F-150 that was having a braking issue. The vehicle was left with Night-Drop and the envelope was missed. The service department offered me a rental car when the truck was not brought in for service. The truck was ready the next day. Tasked with the search for just the right vehicle that I wanted, they never gave up. When things didn't look so good for getting a vehicle they had found at another dealership, they said they wouldn't mind if I went and got that vehicle even though they had done a lot of work for me, but they still didn't give up looking. We talked for a bit, and I told him what I was looking for. There wasn't anything on the lot at the time, so Gordy went to work looking for what I wanted. Overall the staff was helpful. The work took all day because of the carry over from the day before however I did get my vehicle before the shop closed. One suggestion I have is that if a vehicle comes in for service or repair work and there are bulletins or notices for that vehicle the service writer should bring those bulletins to the owner's attention to have a conversation with the owner to determine if their vehicle is experiencing the issues outlined on the bulletin. The owner should not have to ask about the bulletins or request that work be performed.

Have always had very good service. However I needed a small part for my 2015 Ford Escape. I had some road debris break a light and sensor. The parts department gave us the wrong part. When we went back to get the correct part they again gave us the wrong part. Decided they didn't have it and would get it from another dealer. Waited an hour for the new part and it was wrong too. Wasted an entire morning.

Vehicle I purchased was on the dealer website at a lower price than I paid. I would have expected the dealer to point out. The staff was otherwise helpful, and transaction ran smoothly. I did get a good price in the end, but in this day of increased transparency, I would expect dealership to present information on sales up front. Not depend on me finding the sale.

I went in to the Quick Lane for an oil change. While there I inquired about getting help for hooking up my new phone, as I was not having success. The gentleman at the service desk offered to help because it would be a few minutes before the car was taken in to be serviced. The phone got connected. Two small pieces of metal from the car's exterior came loose. The car (a Ford Fusion) is still under warranty, so Plaza Ford replaced those pieces very cooperatively. I'm very pleased. However; on another subject, I'm concerned about two separate recall notices that I've received during the last several months. It's been a while and no one has called me yet about getting the parts replaced. When I questioned someone at Plaza Ford about this, he gave to me his business card and told me to call him personally near the end of July when he hopes the parts will be there. So, I was grateful for that response of his and intend to take him up on that. I think that he may be the service department's manager, but I'm not sure.

I was just starting to look for a new vehicle. Stopped in at Plaza on my way to Walmart. I walked in and was looking at the yellow mustang in the showroom. This large grumpy older man asked me if I wanted some help. Not sure I wanted to say yes, because I definitely wasn't going to click with HIM. Apparently Gary was up, for the next customer. I explained to him that I was just starting to look and my first requirement was I needed space in the vehicle for my Mom's walker. We looked around the showroom then he walked me outside. We checked out a few cars, and I asked if I could drive one. He got the keys and off we went. I liked the feel and ride of the Focus and when we got back to the dealership I asked if he could run the numbers for me. Long story short I bought the 2015 Focus hatchback that I drove. Gary was very easy to talk with and he actually listened to what I wanted and could afford. I couldn't have asked for a better salesman. The young man Ben went over the car with me explaining all the features. I was his first customer and he was great. I LOVE my FOCUS and I will recommend Plaza Ford and Gary to all my friends and family.

However, I have to give credit to Gordy (our favorite sales person ever!) and Hugh (the GM of the site) for going way above and beyond any person's expectations. The two of them have worked with me on three separate occasions (two in sales and one in service) since July of 2014 and I can not say enough great things about how they have handled each encounter. They have worked with me to secure the best possible value for trade ins to the best possible interest rates to get me the price that I have needed, all while remaining kind, caring and helpful. Everything was great! ,if I have to say anything negative, a quick wipe down and vacuum would be nice. WhenI pick up my wife's maxima across the street at Nissan they always give the car back nicely cleaned. I personally could care less about the detail,I just hate hearing from the Mrs how much better Nissan takes care of her car! :-)

We went to buy a new F150 and we had a very tight budget and a long list of demands and Gordy Mueller found exactly what we needed overall fastest and most pleasurable experience I've ever had buying a vehicle. But Gordy wasn't alone the entire staff at Plaza Ford were amazing starting with Elliot being extremely helpful and polite setting us up with Gordy and then the Gen. Manager Hugh Hanley finding every incentive he could for us and giving us the absolute best value for our trade! And last but not least the financing man who regrettably I've forgotten his name but he assisted us even further in saving a few extra dollars a month and got us an extended warranty AND a better interest rate !!! All and all an amazing expeirence !! Oh and I almost forgot one of the owners came over and spoke with us and helped get our bored lil 11 month old cheered back up and distracted long enough for us to finish our paperwork!!

We purchased a 2014 Ford Escape on 05/15/15 from Plaza Ford in Bel Air, MD. We contacted our insurance provider on 05/18/15 to transfer insurance, only to find out that the vehicle we purchased, specifically because we were told (by two different Plaza Ford staff members) the vehicle was 4-wheel drive, was actually front wheel drive. Prior to visiting Plaza Ford on 05/15/15, we contacted the dealership two times, double checking to determine that the vehicle was definitely 4-wheel drive. The Sales Manager assured us that the vehicle was, in fact, 4-wheel drive. We (husband and I) took off a day from work to test drive the vehicle and complete the purchase. If we had known the vehicle was front wheel drive, we wouldn't have driven over an hour to visit Plaza Ford.After speaking to three different staff members, one of which denies telling us that the vehicle was 4-wheel drive, Plaza Ford only apologizes for the inconvenience. They are currently working to void the vehicle purchase and loan processing. However, no action or effort has been made to get us another, comparable vehicle. We pointed out that they have a comparable, 4-wheel drive vehicle on their lot (same year/comparable extras/even the same color), but they will not honor the price we paid for the other vehicle. They would have to take a $2500-$3000 loss and they are unwilling to do what is honorable and offer the vehicle in place of the one they sold us.

Plaza Ford does their job well, though diagnostic costs are too expensive in my opinion. It is Ford which I rate very low for quality of their product. Our 2011 Explorer has had multiple issues over the years, most recently with 2 major problems; Power Steering error and error indicating the car not knowing it has been shifted into PARK. Both issues together would have cost over $2k to fix which is outrageous and unacceptable. Could not justify spending over $2k for issues that should NOT be issues after only 3 1/2 years with less than 50k miles. We did not have the repairs done, rather traded the Explorer in for a different make/model. Will never purchase a Ford vehicle again, no offense to Plaza Ford. Also which is ironic, we received a recall notification the same day we traded the Explorer in! Recall is for yet another problem, a door hindge! And the list goes on and on! Therefore, how can I recommend Plaza Ford to others when the product is aweful? Sorry gents!

The entire staff went above and beyond during our sales and purchase process. Gordy was excellent and very helpful as well as respectful of our time. After our visit and during final consideration of purchase I had a few questions about the new powerstroke model and I received a very informative and courteous phone call from the head of their service department. Damaged my car while in for warranty work and the owner would not talk to us about making an offer now that it is damaged - what a joke! They drove my Expedition under a Box truck up on a lift and got it stuck and messed up my roof line. When we asked to talk to the owner and or sales manager they blew us off, would not return our calls, and were rude! When we went to buy a car from them 3 years prior they told us they were too busy and they would get back to us - never responded - we bought at another dealer.

Took my 2012 Expedition EL King Ranch in for warranty work on the radio, the dealer caused major body damage, they fixed it, but was unwilling to either buy us out for the value of the car before the damage or trade-in at the value, in fact the owner Tom Walls went so far as to leave town so as not to talk to me. This is my second Ford Edge...very satisfied! Brant was very helpful in getting my vehicle serviced in a timely manner. He is by far the most experienced tech at Plaza Ford. He is also the only tech that I will allow to work on my 2001 Mustang Bullitt. While waiting for my Edge, I went to the showroom to look around and Hugh Hanley greeted me asking if everything was OK with my Edge. purchased a 2013 xlt ( the owner's wife was driving this vehicle )on 1/9/15. Once I got the vehicle home, my lovely wife indicated that she did not like the color and it was fwd. I called Brian on 1/10/15 and advised him of my situation, he told me no worries, he would take care of me. On 1/12/15 I returned to the dealership and picked out a 2015 xlt ( silver ). The payments are $60 higher but the wife and I are happy. Keith Hinder was my salesman, excellent. I received better than average trade in value for my pathfinder which was a nice veh by the way. Hugh also called me on 1/10/15 to let me know that everything would be worked out. I have three Ford dealerships that are closer to my home, but Plaza Ford is where I will continue to do business. I had a chronic slow leak from the power takeoff unit in my Ford flex for almost as long as I've owned the car. I had it to the dealer a few times for the same problem.I was always told it was a vent weeping. This time it was a bit more serious. I think they got it this time. The guys we're great, they even hooked me up with a rental car while my car was being repaired. This is really the only mechanical problem I've had with the car since I bought it. I love the car! The dealer has always been very good about services and maintenance. I would like an invoice for my records though. When I picked the car up they had no paper work regarding the repair. I was told they would mail it to me. As of today I still have not received anything.

My vehicle was towed to Plaza Ford for service as it broke down when I was on my way to work. When I called to discuss what needed to be done, the service department was very helpful and responsive. My truck was looked at and a quote was provided. I was notified shortly after what the exact cost would be and it was explained to me what all needed to be done. The gentleman that I checked in with was courteous and efficient. I waited 30 min for The Works at Quick lane, which is what I was told in advance. The only negative comment I would have is the waiting room was not clean -trash can filled to almost overflow , coffee area not appealing. The only reason I bring this up is in today's competitive world with car washes/manicures while you wait the waiting area at least needs to be tidy and comfortable.I have been buy or leasing cars with Plaza ford since 1999 and have been pleased with the service.

Gary was extremely helpful arranging for my vehicle repairs. Vehicle functions flawlessly! To earn the fifth star he should improvehis repair estimate process. It is my understanding that the TSB performed in my vehicle was unfamiliar to both him and the technician (apparently my car was the first). As such they did not correctly predict it would take 2 full shop days to complete. After Gary told me it was 1/2 shop day job I made arrangements. I was inconvenienced making plans to be without my vehicle for another day when informed at 1600 hrs.

I've never had a bad experience at Plaza Ford since I bought my 2012 Ford Fiesta. So far I've only needed basic maintenance (oil changes, tire rotation, brake inspection, ect.) Service staff have always been very approachable.

I was in a tricky spot...traveling from my home in Williamsburg VA to West Chester PA. I stopped at the Maryland House to refuel when my car lost power, would not accelerate, was bucking and not driveable. I called my home Ford dealership, Williamsburg Ford, and asked them to find the closest Ford dealership. I spoke with Chris in the Service Department before having the car towed there late on Friday afternoon. He was polite, patient, understood my problem, and reassured me Plaza Ford would take good care of my car. Also, he arranged for a rental car to be delivered to the dealership so I could continue on my trip that afternoon. Chris called me on Monday, as promised, to tell me what the diagnosis was on the problem with the car. Gave me the correct price and an approximate time to make the repairs. On Wednesday, he called to say the car was ready. My husband drove the rental car back to the dealership to pick up my car. Chris took care of getting the rental car back to the leasing company. My husband and I love Gordy. We actually nicknamed him Gordy Ford!!! That's how he is in my phone contacts. We began researching cars in August. My old car was a 2003 Ford Escape with over 206,000 miles (I loved my Escape). But, it was time to move on. The Edge caught my eye and I am extremely picky. I wanted All Wheel Drive, which is virtually impossible sometimes to find. Gordy has been with us for about the entire month process. We've been texting back and forth. We even walked away from a car that we (I) loved. But, last Friday I texted Gordy about an SE model in Silver for the Edge. Without pressure, he texted me back and forth and last night -- FINALLY -- I was able to buy a 2014 Ford Edge with AWD!!!!There were no games. No hassles. And overall respect from Gordy. We met a lot of dealers who completely played the car buying game, but not Gordy.We liked him so much, my husband -- who is not necessarily a Ford person (he's crazy I know) -- said Gordy would be seeing him again. We ordered a new truck to be built through this dealership. They agreed that, at the time of trade in, they would match another dealership trade in value. (We have this deal sent to is via text message so it is in writing). Well, truck comes in and we go to the dealership with a trade in offer in hand. Plaza ford then tells us they won't match it despite the previous agreement and offers us 4,000 less! We wanted to trade it in at the ford dealership for the tax benefit. I feel like they agreed to the deal just to get us to order the truck and then said "oops sorry". There is nothing I detest more than people and businesses who lie and don't stick to agreements. I will never do business with this dealership again and highly suggest that other people go elsewhere.

Good communication with Service Advisor (Gary) on this occasion. Fusion was repaired quickly and so far, correctly. Number one complaint regarding any repair that's been completed at Plaza is that the interior ALWAYS comes back with greasy hand or finger prints throughout the driver's area caused by the mechanic. Removing grease from the seat fabric is next to impossible. On one occasion when the Sync System on our Fusion was serviced, it was returned with console screws on the floor and the console around the gear selector was scratched (I assume the gear selector had to be removed for access to a part pertaining to the Sync System.) The disposable mat is always used, but a lot more care and attention should be used to keep the interior surfaces, especially the fabric, free of grease.

We ordered a truck through the dealership. At the time, an agreement was made that ford would match another dealership trade in offer once the truck was delivered. (This was via text message so we have it in writing). Once the truck arrived, we go to the dealership with trade in offer in hand only to be told that they changed their minds and can't match it. In fact, they offered us 4,000 less. We never would have ordered the truck in the first place if they hadn't agreed to match a trade in value because we wanted the tax benefit from trading in at ford but they had been low balling the trade in value from the beginning. I feel that they made the deal just to get us to buy the truck. There is nothing I detest more than people/businesses that lie. I will never use this dealership again and I highly recommend that no one else does either!

it seems as soon as my extended maint. plan expired that I received notice that my brakes need replacing, according to the notices I have received. it almost seems that engineering has calculated exactly how much and what the extended maint. plan will cover. the extended maint. plan was not cheap. so naturally I am not satisfied with what my cost of the extended maint. plan and what it has done for me on my f150.this has nothing to do with the service I have received, which for the most part has been very good.

I have been dealing with you since 1995. I have to say this visit I was not very happy. In the past I dealt with Donna then Pat and Charlie, they would always keep me updated. The service was very good. However, when I came in to pay and pick up my vehicle, there was no key. Since it was a Saturday, it ended up being locked in the technician's tools, so I was not able to get it. Thankfully I had a key with me so I took my car and came back on Tuesday to pick up the key. It all worked out fine for me, with the exception of making an extra trip to Plaza. I only mention it because had it happened to someone who had not brought an extra key, it would have been a very different story. They would not have been able to get their car until Monday. (And this was Saturday at 3:45 p.m.) So, my thought in telling you this is that you can look into what happened and fix that process a bit.

I emptied out all of my stuff from my 2002 Explorer and was looking for a fair deal on a 2012, or 13, or 14 Explorer. I tried a well know dealer in Baltimore city and asked if there was a little flexibility in the asking price of a 2013 model. The salesman's answer was " the price is the price". After thanking him for his time I left - of course. That same day I saw online that Plaza Ford in Bel Air, MD had the color exterior and interior that I was looking for so I went there and that's when I met Dave Shapiro, the sales guy. Dave, in my mind, is best described as 3 parts Woody Allen and1part Johnny Depp. Dave and the sales manager got me the deal I felt was fair. After checking with a car sales relative I found out that I indeed had gotten a better than fair deal so I'm now a customer of Plaza Ford. Elliot, Brad and Hue were complete gentlemen. Hue gave me a great deal on my trade in vehicle. Elliot was very knowledgeable and helpful in the mustang. Brad was great with the financing. I feel I was treated like a family member and not like a regular customer. I drive over 3 hours to purchase this car because my local ford dealership in New York wanted to rip me off and left a bad taste in my mouth. I wanted a 2014 mustang and plaza ford made it happen.

If you want the truth, a good honesty deal and are tired of dealing with greasy car sales people telling you what you want, you need to stop by & speak with Kieth Hinder he will truely help fit your needs, just a good hearted honest sales person "Keith Hinder". Once you decide Kieth & Finance will take good car of you, I was done quickley, tagged and out the door in no time at all. Then came Zac Ritter, a young tech guy to show me how to get the most out of the features of my car, I said to myself yeah, right. Zac showed me things on my Taurus I had never used or realized even exsisted, Zac you are the man, you go with your bad self. Overall reviews only contain the bad stuff people experaince. I will return to Plaze Ford simply because what I experainced at Plaza Ford is the culture of the Dealership and that culture will always be thier.

An outstanding, low-pressure, painless buying experience because of Gordy Mueller's friendly and professional sales tactics. Gordy worked to provide us all the facts associated with our new Explorer. He was truthful, provided valid answers to all questions and was so friendly yet professional. We've bought numerous vehicles over the years and have always dreaded it...our fear quickly disappeared once Gordy took over. VERY knowledgeable. Also, Zac Ritter provided an good tutorial on the electronic "gadgets" and I would recommend ALL dealerships get a "Zac" to provide this service. GREAT EXPERIENCE. We WILL return. Go see Plaza and ask for Gordy!

I had been to several different dealers looking and new cars. Explained from the beginning what I was pre approved for and wanted to stay in that price range. Not one of the other dealers was up front and straight forward with numbers... I walked into Plaza Ford in Bel Air just to see what they had, told the sales guy what I had to spend and what I really wanted as far as features in the car.. Four hours later I left with a year newer car than I had anticipated getting along with all the features and the color I loved.... I could never get past the numbers game at the other dealers. Frank listened to what I told him I wanted. He didn't try to convince me to purchase a package that I didn't need or want, but assisted me in knowing what the differences were so I could make an educated decision. He went out of his way to find me a car that fit my specifications and meanwhile was able to show me the features I would have on my car using other models that had the same features. He was open with me pertaining to my trade in and the pricing and I was happy with the final outcome. He noticed a blemish on the car that I didn't see and pointed it out to me and promised that it would be repaired and I would have a loaner until it was remedied. Every contact with Frank was a positive experience and I would be happy to deal with him again in the future.

I worked with Zac Ritter, he sold me my used 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe and I couldn't be happier with it. Being that it was my first time buying a car and without a co-signer he made the whole process really easy. Car had low miles and was/is in great condition. I haven't had any issues with it, except for a small window issue. We took it to Ford Plaza and they fixed it right away. Haven't had any issues since. Everyone there is friendly and willing to help. Would definitely recommend this dealer to a friend or someone looking to buy a car. Nothing but good things to say about this dealership.

I worked with Keith Hinder and purchased a 2012 Ford Escape. Keith was very easy to work with--no games, just bottom line pricing. Buying a car is my LEAST favorite activity, and he, and Don in financing, made it as painless as possible. When discussing extended warranties, Don complied with my request for the Reader's Digest version--it wasn't my first rodeo and I didn't need the sales pitch (I did end up buying the warranty). Recently I contacted the Internet sales department to inquire about possibility of purchasing a 2014 Ford Fiesta. I received a quick reply form representative Gary Abrams. We spoke mainly through email, with a few phone calls. We resolved all issues auto and financing through this method. To my surprise Gary also brought the paperwork and auto to me. I am currently unable to leave the house. The auto was in my driveway within 30 hours. Is this service, or what?

Because I ask who was sales mgr.I had known Hue's father for over 50 years ( great guy),these to gentleman treated me like I was family .when we got to the price and payment I was pleasantly surprised .The price was fair these people were friendly and the car was exactly what I was looking for.they meet my wants and needs spot on.WHAT WAS I WAITING FOR? They presented it all to me right there and then. No pressure to buy they were helpfull and friendly ,price was fair.Needless to say I am a owner of a 2014 mustang because of these folks and will return down the road for a new SUV for my wife.

I had previously purchased two Explorers and had them serviced at Plaza over the past 18 years. Until my most recent purchase, I was very pleased. I recently (April, 2013) utilized them to factory order a new Expedition. Considering that it was a factory order, the negotiation process was arduous. Upon delivery, the prep was incomplete - special order floormats were left in the luggage area and not installed, the trim on the roof luggage rack was of two different trims and they had not noticed, I had to point it out to them. When it was time to pay, and I was paying cash, they refused to take my check and would only take my wife's check since the truck was to be registered in her name. Finally, when I tried to contact the owner by phone and e-mail, he never got back to me. If the owner doesn't care about his customer of 18 years, why should his employees be different?

My fiance and I went in looking for a car and we met Mario who was extremely polite, helpful, ready to find any answers he didn't know himself. Overall I was very pleased with the service we received up until it came to the point of talking numbers. After waiting in the lobby for someone to acknowledge us for nearly an hour, we were simply trying to get information on APR% before we signed any buyers contracts, or anything at all for that matter. They told us that salesmen weren't allowed to discuss finances, which I found a bit odd but dismissed it initiallly, and they couldn't give us a straight answer as to what any rates might be. Finally Mario asked us if we didn't trust him, and very much so jokingly I said, "well you are a car salesmen." And that's where things went sour. One of the men in the corner of the lobby became very upset and belligerently rude to us. After mentioning that they didn't have to sell us a car if that's all we thought of them he then demanded I apologize to Mario, which I did because I respect Mario and his professional attitude. The man continued to give us a hard time and be extremely rude to me so we walked out on the sale. Which is really a shame because Mario was a very helpful and I would have been happy to buy a car from him. But when it came down to it, they wanted us to sign legally binding paperwork without us knowing any specifics other than the monthly payment of the car. Which isn't enough to commit to such a huge sale

I purchased a Jeep Gr Cherokee on Jan 18, 2013 from Plaza. After my test drive and paperwork I drove off the lot and to Wawa about 1/10 mile and the Jeep wouldn't restart! They took it in and said it was the battery/wiring to the battery which was repaired & battery replaced. Then soon after that the engine light came on. I brought it back in to Plaza and my sales guy said "its just a button that needs to be reset." On my drive home after they did not locate a problem the light came back on. Then it was off & on numerous times along with the oil light and another light. I have been in contact with the manager Al McCaffery and he has assured me they will fix the problem. He even gave me a warranty that Ford will cover 12,000 miles from the purchased milage that any Ford even out of state will acknowledge. I brought it to them on Tuesday (today is friday) and I called them to check the status twice. They sent it to a Dodge/Jeep dealer due to the engine light and they are replacing the torque converter. I have expressed my concern of this vehicle to the manager and my sales guy numerous times. They both have known that for the past month I have been looking to get out of that troublesome vehicle and into something else, however, they do not have a comparative SUV on the lot that is in my price range (since I do not want an Escape). I asked if they could trade with another dealer to get me into an Envoy which was my last truck that I had for 9 years & loved, but apparently they do not want to lose $ on that kind of trade. Unfortunately, I am now waiting to see what happens next. I will write a review when our transactions are completed.

We went to purchase a C-Max that was in stock that we had initially seen with a different salesperson (Mario) about 10 days earlier. Mario was not there the day that we went to purchase the vehicle, and a different sales person (named Frank) worked with us. We found him to be rude, arrogant and petty. I stated that we would do the deal if a certain amount was taken off the bottom line price, he appeared to agree, went off to do the paperwork, and when he returned the amount in question was not taken off the 'finalized' paperwork. We had to bring in the manager to straighten out the mis-understanding and even so, they did not want to honor the commitment. The dealership as a whole may be ok, but this particular salesperson (Frank) is impressive (with the exception that he did have a reasonable knowledge of the vehicle.)

TOOK MY VAN IN FOR A RECALL SERVICE FOR A REPLACEMENT TORQUE CONVERTER, WHILE IT WAS THERE ,THE MECHANIC BROKE BOLTS ON THE VAN CAUSING THE REPAIR TO DELAY 2 EXTRA DAYS. WHEN IT WAS DONE I ARRIVED TO PICK UP THE VAN AND IT WOULD NOT START. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS GOING TO HAVE TO GO BACK IN THE SHOP FOR DIAGNOSIS. LATER IN THE DAY PLAZA FORD CALLED TO TELL ME THE MECHANIC LEFT A TRANSMISSION SENSOR LOOSE WHILE PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER. ALL IS WELL NOW AND READY FOR PICK UP AGAIN. I TOOK VAN HOME WHERE IT SAT FOR ONE FULL DAY , I TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL STORE AND WHEN I WENT TO COME HOME IT WONT START AGAIN. I HAD TO GET A TOW TRUCK TO BRING HOME. I SHOULD OF HAD IT DELIVERED TO PLAZA , BUT I DIDNT HAVE ANY TYPE OF PRIOR COMMUNICATION SO I DIDNT. I CALL THE DEALERSHIP ON THE NEXT DAY AND GET A MANAGER ON THE PHONE . HE LISTENED TO MY STORY FOR ABOUT TEN SECONDS BEFORE INTERUPTING ME SAYING THE DEALERSHIP DID NOTHING WRONG AND THIS WAS MY PROBLEM. EVEN THOUGH IT WOULDNT START AFTER THE REPAIR WAS DONE 2 DAYS PRIOR. NOW THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO ASSIST IN ANY WAY . HOWEVER THEY WILL LOOK AT IT AND DIAGNOSE FOR A FEE . THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF MILES DRIVEN SINCE I PICKED UP THE VAN IS LESS THAN 40 MILES. WHY WONT THEY TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY TO HELP. THE VAN HAS NEVER EVER NOT STARTED THE ENTIRE TIME I HAVE OWNED IT , AND I PURCHASED NEW. THIS GROUP OF GOOD OLE BOYS WORKING AT PLAZA LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER BIG TIME , AND THEY HATE THE CUSTOMER WITH A PASSION. I AM SICK OVER THE TREATMENT I WAS GIVEN. SHADY SERVICEYesterday we took my truck in for some routine maintenance. Today, I have no breaks and after being towed to them they say we need a new brake booster...$800. I didn't need a new break booster yesterday when they looked at my breaks. You think that is a coincidence, an accident created by them, or just fraud? I am just thankful I realized I had no breaks this morning before my children and I were on the road with other innocent people.Also, Salvo auto parts has brake boosters for $85 and the shop down the road says they will fix it for $165. I can help but think I am purposely being overpriced. Plaza Ford has lost our business.

I went in to the parts deparment to purchase parts for me 2007 f-250 and I spoke to the parts Manager Mike about what I needed. After I gave him all the info he quickly said they were not available. I asked where I may get the parts I need and he said he didn't know and " it is what is" you are going to have to go else where. No help on parts or where I could get an aftermarket part. How do they get the parts for the service guys? This guy is a joke and I will go else where from now on. Al Packer here I come.

I purchased a new truck here from a long time friend, well I thought so. Got charger $3k extra for the same truck that another dealer. I cane in for aftermarket parts after I priced them at the parts dept. They were marked up even more because I was having them installed there. The markup was 25% more than the walk up parts counter.

Great selection and prices. Lousy service after the sale, they take your money and forget about you. Service department is horrible, NTF No Trouble Found is thier favorite writeup regarding warranty repairs. Buy here, go elsewhere for service.

I purchased an F-150 in 11/04. Within 2 weeks the vehicle started having engine and transmission problems. Plaza could not duplicate the problem. It was taken to another dealership. They could not duplicate the problem. At that point I decided to file a Lemon Law complaint. Ford fought it and I won, as the vehicle was unsafe to drive and even Ford admitted in a service bulletin that a series of their vehicles were having engine and transmission problems that they could not correct. During this process the dealership did not help at all during this entire process. In fact they stated "We only sell vehicles." During one of the service visits, in which they had the vehicle 5 days, a "lot boy" took my truck home over night and put a dent in the front bumper.The day I returned the vehicle and was to receive a check for the difference that Ford owed me. Steve Lineweber refused to give me my check until I gave him a check for a small dent in the tailgate. It should be noted 2 dealerships gave a 90-100 dollar estimate for the dent. He gave an estimate nearly 600 dollars. He then began to curse and yell other profanities about the truck. At that point I decided this was not worth the aggravation and wrote him the check to get my check. It should also be noted he assaulted my wife by throwing the truck keys at her.I DO NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. The other dealership I dealt with was much more helpful.
