First things first. This is a completely unbiased and voluntary review of Novak Motors. I don't often write reviews but when a company impresses me and treats me well, I want others to know about it. This was the best car buying experience ever. This is how all car buying SHOULD be. We have purchased at least 6 used vehicles from traditional dealerships in the past. I will never go back to another as long as Novak is around. I do all my homework when making a big investment. I research and compare and scrutinize. I hadn't heard of Novak Motors before, but I came across a vehicle I was interested in on cars.com. I wanted to check out the prius wagon and Novak was one of only two places nearby with a low mileage prius v. I went to the traditional dealership first. (What a nightmare. I don't have room to elaborate here.)Then I went to Novak and the difference was HUGE. Novak gets one owner, off lease, ow mileage vehicles due to their partnership with a leasing financing company. (or something like that) All the cars are kept inside a huge showroom. Pricing isn't negotiated, The sticker is what you pay. Again, I do my homework. I checked on their pricing. Good pricing. The whole experience is comfortable and relaxed. There's no pressure or stressful negotiations, only helpful friendly staff there to give you information and guidance. Speaking of "friendly"... everyone there was so kind. They weren't bothered that we dragged our kids along. In fact they went out of their way to make them part of the process. They scored big "parent points" there. So believe it or not we discovered a completely macked out minivan (gasp!) in their showroom and went home to think things over. No pressure to sign anything. No need to put down a deposit. No, "Oh you better jump on this now," schtick. In fact, we were told not to worry, they would hold the prius and the van until we decided whether we wanted one, the other, or neither. We were given a friendly, "Take your time and think about it." We decided to take the plunge and experience the magic that only a minivan can provide: 2 TVs, the abilty to throw bikes in the back, pick up a gaggle of friends, road trips to family in New England, etc. (Side note: best decision ever...don't knock the van.) Then they told me about their extended warranty offer. "Oh here's the catch," I thought to myself. Remember what I said. I research, compare and scrutinize. I researched warranty costs and this was much less than what a dealer would charge for the same coverage. So I asked for a copy of the warranty. I called and spoke to the warranty headquarters. I caled a local mechanic about the warranty. I check Better Buisness Bureau. (An "A" rating.) Then I called a local dealership of this van's make. I spoke to the service manager. We get to talking and he says, "Who are you buying it from?" Turns out the SERVICE MANAGER AT THE DEALERSHIP bought his last car from Novak Motors! He proceeded to tell me that I had nothing to worry about if I was working with Novak. An industry insider uses and recommends them?!? My neurotic, researchy, scrutinizing side is placated. We pick up the van on Friday night, the earliest we could. They were supposed to be closed by the time we could make it, but 4 people have stayed after hours to finalize paperwork, congratulate us on our purchase and shake our hands. So if you see a white minivan on the LIE full of people smiling, it's probably us. Thank you Amy, Frank, and everyone at Novak Motors.

After looking online and going to several dealerships, Novak Motors provided a characteristic that none of the others had...QUALITY. Not only in the conditions of the cars but service as well. Amy made it a quick, easy and understandable process for me to purchase the Jeep Wrangler that was in mint condition (not to mention she helped me find a great insurance quote while I was busy at work! ). There were no "run arounds", or loops and everything she told me was exactly how it was.Couldn't have been any easier! Thank you Amy, and Thank Novak Motors!

By far one of the best car buying experiences I have had. Everything you read in the ad is true. No hidden fee's like dealer prep, buyers fee, mandatory warranty purchase, must finance through dealer, documentation fee, shop fee, key fee, walk in the door fee. NOTHING. Prices are all clearly labeled on each vehicle. you pay that price (no haggle) plus sales tax, plus whatever DMV charges. that's it. no games. Each car is indoors in their huge warehouse, all cleaned up and ready to go. The sales staff are NOT on commission, so there is no pressure what so ever. When it comes time to finance, they didn't add on any percentage points to the APR. I got exactly what the credit union had posted on their website. Very happy with my Volvo S60 and the experience at Novak. Frank Cannizzaro was extremely helpful in allowing me to test drive several cars and once I took delivery, he spent time setting up my Sat radio trial. Two thumbs up for Novak. I wish all the dealers were like this.

Last year our daughter bought her Chevy from Novak and she was very pleased with the whole process of dealing with them. When we were ready to purchase a car for ourselves, we went to Novak. She was right, no one is breathing down your neck while you're looking, and when you are ready for a test drive, it's so comfortable. We did wind up buying a Jeep. And, the whole process was so easy, Amy was wonderful! Even the gentleman who detailed our car was awesome!

I had such a great experience buying my car that I brought my son there the next week and he traded his old car in for a beauty too! After I wasted my time with other sneaky, fast talking dealers (who are listed on this site!) I did not need to look any further than Novak Motors. It was a comfortable and no pressure environment, a great hassle free price, courteous professional staff, immaculate vehicles, and a beautiful indoor showroom. Frank and Amy were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about every different vehicle in stock (other dealership salesman didn't know half as much about his own brand!). The office staff were also friendly and attentive. The men in the shop were very experienced, answered all questions, and did a fantastic job of prepping & detailing the cars. I wouldn't want to to see my family or friends suffer a bad buying experience, so I definitely will recommend them to Novak.

great service and staff. car was listed on their website with the carfax report and plenty of pictures.. the price was fair market, APR was spot on for what i expected and the car is in great condition.. no hidden gimmicks or scams.. We worked with Amy and she made buying this car pleasant, the shop guys were friendly and cleaned the car with care and detail. The rest of the admin staff was polite as well when my wife stood behind when i took my test drive. i recommended this dealership.

I bought a 2011 Camaro from Novak Motors. I owed more money then my previous car was worth. They worked with me and got me out of my car and into my Camaro with a lower payment. The salesman Frank was extremely helpful, and the Finance manager Amy was very patient and got me within the payment I wanted to be at. Overall an incredible buying experience, one that you would never get by going to a regular dealership.

Flew in last Thurs from Buffalo NY to pick up my 2011 Subaru Forester for which I made all purchase arrangements by phone. Amy Doberman could not have been any easier to work with. She arranged very low rate financing and helped me to get a fantastic extended warranty at a very affordable rate. This was an important factor as I drive apprx 30k a year. Frank picked me up at the airport which is 15 minutes from their facility which is very modern and spotless. My Forester was spotlessly clean and ready to go...20 minutes of signing and I was on my way. Amy was thoughtful enough to check that I had made the 7 hr drive home safely, which I did. All in all the easiest, most pleasant laid back car buying experience ever...very refreshing. Very Very highly recommend

Wow! what an experience. It was excelent! in all my years of buying cars and with all the run arounds from shady dealers this was like a breath of fresh air. All the cars were imaculate and clearly marked and no presure to buy at all. Very proffesional and very informative. Amy not only knows her stuff but she was very helpful, up front and made the buying process painless. Frank was very knowledgeable, friendly and I was at ease through out the process of checking out the car. He showed me everything and he let me take out the car for a test drivecar by myself. This is the way to buy a pre-owned car. Travelled 2+ hours from NJ for a Mazda3 with no regrets. Amy was fantastic, and the vehicle was better than described on the phone. The atmosphere was very professional with no pressure of a used car dealership. The car's speak for themselves and if you make it there, you are pretty much there to buy and you will leave with a car. With their indoor facility, cars are in immaculate condition. All vehicles are low mileage off lease and it was like getting a brand new car, although it really is used. I am very happy with my new car. Did tell Amy that they needed to open a NJ dealership, but until then, don't mind the drive, as the cars are more than worth it.

I must honestly say that this was the best car buying experience I've ever had. From beginning to end the process was impeccable. The moment you walk into the establishment you feel the professionalism and attention. My car sales person was Laura Hingle. She was so professional and knew her stuff. She answered all my questions and at no point did I feel any pressure of any kind. It was a such a beautiful clean showroom. All the cars were so shiny and beautiful. I knew right away which car I wanted Bc I used this site to find my car. She showed me it right away and I knew that it was the car for me. It was such a quick and easy process. I chose my car test drove it right away. i must say i love my truck i bought a jeep Cherokee Laredo 2010 with only 19,110 miles and I am the only 2nd owner. I highly recommend Novak motors if you purchasing your car. I bought my car cash and honestly it was so easy and simple. No dealer fees no hassle nothing. I give them two thumbs up ;-). We had such a positive experience with Amy and everyone at Novac that we returned a few weeks later and bought a second car. They make it so easy and stress-free. Upon pick-up they noticed that the tiny little plastic cover on the door lock was missing, we never noticed it. They noted it and said no worries we will get you a new one. Amazing customer service, which in this day and age is very rare. Thanks for everything, we could not be happier!

Amy (and her lil' dog, too) was phenomenal. I went to the shop maybe 4 mos prior to purchasing. I wanted to buy a car but was not serious yet. My sister recommended me to the place and, I have to say, I am thankful she did. It was close to closing and we had no appt but Amy walked us through the facility as if there was all the time in the world. The quality of the cars was amazing and it instantly gave me a 'gotta have it' type feeling. But I wanted to be smart so I went to the dealers of the cars I was interested in and was quickly disgusted. I was pre-approved but all over customer service was appalling. I walked into Novak (again with no appt) and toured the cars once more. Amy got me lower % financing and my pre-approval was already low. She handled everything for me and did it like were old friends. It was the best car buying experience I've ever had.

There are not enough words to describe our AMAZING experience with Amy and Novac Motors. We went in on a Saturday and drove 3 SUV's. Amy was very patient and answered all our questions. She made herself available to us when we needed her, but more importantly gave us the space to look freely. After driving we sat down for all of 20 minutes with Amy and she ran some numbers and presented us with all our options, we decided which one we wanted, she ran the credit and approved us and we arranged pick up of our new SUV for Tuesday. On pick up we were in and out in less than an hour. So simple and easy, we kept waiting for someone to jump out and yell it was a joke. It was that pleasant and who can say that about buying a car? WE CAN !!! Amy got me an AMAZING rate (over 5% LESS than what a big dealer approved me for) and with no money down. And they gave me an amazing price on my trade-in. This was my 8th car purchase and by far the easiest and most pleasant. I will NEVER buy another car from anyone else. We will sing Amy and Novac Motors praises to anybody and everybody who will listen.

I have always felt anxious, nervous and honestly not happy when we wanted to buy a car. We found this website, drove over last Saturday, looked at the car that was exactly as described in the description, took a test drive. We picked up our 2010 Lexus RX 350 today, and we could not be happier. Amy...you are the best!!!! Professional, yet so down to earth, I feel like I made a new friend! Not only does just about everyone in our family use this dealer, but I will continue to recommend in my professional life to everyone..There services and patience is admirable and above average compared to anyone's. Not only did we have a great experience with Amy the saleswoman but we were also greeted by the owner himself.. He gave me $3500.00 more than any dealership on the island for my 2010 Toyota and also beat out the largest used Honda dealership on the island when it came to price.. I went to Honda the night before and gave them an opportunity to sell me a Honda pilot but they were shy about $4000.00 and the payment was $150.00 more a month and they were gonna give me $3000.00 dollars less for my trade.. Also when it came time to finance they shopped for my best rate and found me a cheaper rate than I got myself through my credit union.. Don't skip this dealership they are by far the best all around off lease used car dealer on Long Island.. From exp of buying ten cars over my lifetime this is where my search will stop Bovak motors is number one on my eyes..

Novak Motors of Hauppauge was our best car buying experience ever. Cheryl was amazing to work with and found exactly the vehicle we needed. Amy was also amazing putting together the financing and warranty package. There is no pressure and no "I have to check with my manager" games. All the vehicles are in pristine condition. I recently purchased my third car from Novak Motors and they have consistently exceeded my expectations. From my first encounter two years ago when I picked up a Honda Civic Si to my purchase a couple of weeks ago of a Volvo C70, I have been impressed with the quality of the vehicles they have on display and their dedication to customer satisfaction. The Volvo felt almost like a special order because I had been exchanging email with Laura Hingle at Novak, letting her know I was in the market for a new car and what kind of vehicle I was looking for. She let me know as soon as this model came in and I could not have been happier with the car, the price and way that they took care of the transaction: easy, fast, and hassle-free. Laura extended a level of customer service to me I had never experienced at car dealers. I have to say that all three of the cars I have purchased there have been in tip-top condition and Novak really did a great job fixing even the most minor details. Joe runs a great shop and is always willing to make the right 'fit' for prospective clients. Amy, who handles the financial transactions was very thorough and very accommodating to make things work. She is extremely knowledgeable about the automotive industry. I feel very certain that my next car purchase, whenever that may occur, will be from Novak Motors. After all the cars I have purchased and owned, I wish I knew about Novak Motors earlier!

I was not looking for a new car, My wife was. I had heard of Novak motors and all i heard were good things. My wife needed a car and did purchase one but while i was there i saw this 2009 Infiniti G37x and started asking questions. At Novak there is no pressure. all cars are pristine and the process is so easy it makes you wonder why you have ever gone elsewhere. They cared and didnt just sell me a car. I appreciated the entire process and love the car.. Way to go NovakMotors. It may be a few years but i will return. First class experience

What an incredible experience working with Novak Motors. I was in the market for a pre-owned car and when I saw the automobiles at Novak, they all looked brand new! I couldn't believe it. I had seen three or four vehicles that I really liked, so I went to their website and they had about 30 or more pictures per car. The service staff was extremely knowledgeable and I worked directly with their finance department on getting the right deal for me. Joe, Laura, Amy and Joe all went out of their way to provide an incredible car buying experience for me. No hassles and no pressures along the way. Their show room was immaculate and I didn't have a need to shop anywhere else. I have already recommended Novak Motors to friends, colleagues and family. They delivered on all accounts and made my car buying experience seamless and easy. I can't say enough about their professionalism and helpfulness. Thank you Novak. I love my new car!

Just wanted to thank Amy for being such a a pleasure to work with! I traveled 5 hours from NH to Long Island to pick up my Volvo XC90 today, it was well worth the trip. What a great experience from start to finish. I have never been so impressed, with a dealership before. I called Amy on Tuesday and told her I was very interested and wanted to talk numbers. She even worked with me over the phone to come up with fair price for my trade. We were able to make a deal over the phone. She even called us later that day to make sure we love our new volvo to follow up :) She is super easy to work with and has a great personality! I will definitely send my friends and family her way... and if I ever decide to upgrade to a newer Volvo I will most definitely go see her again :)

I am 24 years old and was looking to buy my first real car. I had a very specific car and budget in mind, and I took my ideas to countless car dealerships. I left most of them feeling confused, stressed, and ready to give up. When I discovered Novak Motors it was like a breath of fresh air, a huge weight was immediately lifted off of my shoulders. Not only did they have exactly the car I was looking for, but they explained everything to me patiently and precisely. There were no tricks, no scams, no teeny tiny letters on the paperwork, and the entire staff was beyond friendly. I had never financed a car before and believe me, I had a lot of questions. All of them were answered until I understood them. Buying the car was quick and easy and I did not feel pressured at all. I am an extremely picky and indecisive person, but not once did I regret buying my car from Novak. The whole experience was pleasant and practically stress free. Their excitement matched mine and they celebrated with me when I drove off in my new Nissan Versa. I'm loving my new car thanks to Laura and everyone at Novak.

Novak was excellent! I did not want to deal with the hassle of negotiating with a dealership. From the moment I first walked in there they were honest, friendly, and told me they did not haggle. This made the whole experience that much easier because I knew exactly what I was getting and for what price. I had been researching the Jeep Wrangler for quite a long time and the quality of the car that they sold me was fantastic! From start to finish I am very satisfied with Novak. I dealt with Gino from start to finish. In fact my first phone call to Novak was on a holiday weekend and Gino answered his phone while he was with him family. It is nice to see the dedication not always found in this business.
