I highly recommend North Coast's Service Department. I am a young woman and feel uncomfortable dealing with anything that has to do with my car (including getting gas). Bob made me feel comfortable and I didn't feel that he was trying to sell me things I didn't need for my car. I will be back for my next service.

everything went just as promised, fair price and made me feel like family. bill was great. I heard the service dept is just as good.

North Coast Subaru was as warm and friendly as you could hope for. The sales manager, finance manager and sales team were patient and sincere. I went to two other Subaru dealers to purchase a car and turned around and walked out after being ignored. In Glen Cove I felt they were appreciative of the business and were very competitive on price.

I have tried multiple times in the past 2 months to contact the owner of this dealership and have been told by the manager that "the file is on his desk." I can only assume that the reason he does not call me back is that he knows his dealership misled us when purchasing a used car for my daughter. After being faithful customers of new Subaru's for 30 years, we were purchasing something used for a new driver. We were told by the manager they had the perfect 2003 Impreza, owned by a couple who purchased it from them so it was serviced there since it was new, had low mileage and had never been in an accident. We never questioned them because of the long term relationship. Shortly after the purchase something major went wrong that cost us $1000 and we were told these things happen with used cars. When we went to sell the car to buy her something new, we finally ran the Carfax to find the car had 4 previous owners and had been in an accident. Needless to say we will never buy a car from this dealership again. I spoke with the (new) manager twice in the past couple of months. He assured me the owner had the file and would call to speak with me about it. He never has. I am now going to send a note to the President and COO of Subaru who has a speech on their website about integrity, ethics, and morals!

Avoid this dealership at all cost. They are totally not consumer focused. First of all my delivery process took 3.5 hours and I was paying cash, They made mistake upon mistake in the paperwork, the accessories I requested were not installed when I came to pick up the car. Never received my Subaru CPO Certification Paperwork until 6 weeks later. They could not find the owner's manual for the car. Five days later the paint on the roof started peeling. I told my salesman Ron Waldman that the dealer should fix this. He said sorry buddy paint is not covered. I told him that I would call Subaru and he hung up on me. The car's fluid levels were never topped off. Scratches on the lower bumper were covered up with wax and Armor-All and were only apparent after the first car wash. I am still trying to get them to come to a resolution on this issue. Water started leaking into my trunk after the first rain. Took it to a dealer in Georgia, where I live, and they noticed that the rear brakes were in need of replacement, the passenger visor clip was broken, the wrong cup holder was installed. The car was not properly certified. They had the audacity to sign off on it and say it met Subaru Certification standards. They never followed through to make sure I was satisfied. I had to get big brother, Subaru, involved to get some of the issues resolved. Sent them correspondence regarding the bumper issue and they have not responded. Am turning to the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau for assistance. Believe me this was a nightmare. The car was in the shop more than I drove it on account that North Coast did not have the integrity to certify the vehicle according to Subaru standards and instead chose to cut corners and be dishonest.

i bought my Subaru Legacy here. North Coast Subaru is the best. Service department is wonderful. I drive out to Glen Cove from Brooklyn whenever my car needs servicing. Totally recommend North Coast for both car purchase and service.

I always dread purchasing a car because of the usual pressure from the car salesperson. Not at North Shore Subaru! The sales experience here is laid back but highly professional. The pricing was just right and my salesperson (Tom) was even able to swap the vehicle of my choice from another dealership. I picked up my new car within days of sealing the deal. I highly recommend North Shore Subaru to anyone looking to purchase this amazing brand. It's my first Subaru and I absolutely love my 2015 Forester. Thank you North Shore Subaru for making my purchase such a great experience!

Just got a 2012 Forester. Get dealer worked with Ron via e-mail. He was great! Answered all questions quickly without any BS. We worked out a price in no time. Did a great job preping the car. Really a very good group of people to deal with!!

I just bought a 2012 Outback from Northcoast Subaru, and it was a great experience. Ron was my salesman, and Loretta is one of the owners. The car was prepped perfectly. Of course it there was a snow flurry on my way home. :) The buying process at Northcoast Subaru was very direct, and without the usual bs at many other dealers. Best way to buy is to go there during less busy hours. But that's true for any place you go.
