Ben M. helped us find an SUV to replace a van that was wrecked. He was honest and upfront. He didn't try to show me anything out of our price range and made sure I got a thorough test drive to see how the vehicle handled in different driving conditions. Ben was great! Provided me with the knowledge I needed and never over stepped his boundaries. Even when I left the first time, he did not bombard me with messages or phone calls to get me to come back to make a purchase. I moved at the pace I wanted to! I came in to look at and test drive a used 2014 Ford Focus SE I found on their website. For the most part, I worked with Ben M. He was extremely helpful, patient, and friendly. He explained everything upfront and wasn't pushy in any way. He does a good job of helping you pick a car you want rather than one that a dealer wants you to buy. In addition, he made the whole process of buying the car very easy and stress-free. If you go here to buy a new or used car, I'd recommend working with him, because it will make the process a lot easier. Aside from that, they do have some really good deals. The car I got had low mileage, was in great shape for a used car, and was fairly priced. Great dealership!

Nelson Mazda's website noted that a particular vehicle we liked was located at the Hickory Hollow location. Although we live close to the Cool Springs location, we drove to Antioch simply to see the vehicle. Ben Mulaosmanovic greeted us and understood why we came. He was so humble, helpful, servant-hearted, and focused on exactly what we came for that we actually were more comfortable going forward with him than trying to have the car taken to Cool Springs, which would've been more convenient for us.Ben is outstanding and a stickler for detail. If you don't want it, he doesn't want to sell it to you. Simple as that. There were 5-6 little things that we did need attended to, and he addressed them promptly and accurately. He is funny, full of grace, and a gentleman.

Met Oren, the sales person, had great experience with him. Told him I was not entirely sure when I would buy, however when I did I would buy from him. Great person to deal with. Stayed in touch but did not bother me or try to hard sale. I was trying to decide whether to wait on the new RF series or just go ahead and get the new 2016 and maybe trade for the RF later when available. Decide to go ahead and get the 2016 grand touring. Glad I did!

I was trading in my 2013 volkswagon beetle with 41,011 miles on it and its paid off, an o2 sensor was out on the car, and i was tring to trade for a 2010 srt8 challenger with 46,000 miles, which my car blue books at $8,200 in fair condition( id say its in good condition which is $9,000 ) so they had the challenger priced at 3,000 above what it blue books ( it blue books at $23,000 so they had it at $26,000 ) and they were trying to give me $5,000 for my car which took the car down to what id have to pay which was 22,000, because of their processing fee is what they said so i would have traded in my newer model for an older model and had a thousand dollars knocked off of the bluebook of the srt8....neddles to say i walked out of there without the srt8.

Ben at Nelson Mazda was GREAT to work with! He was very honest and helpful as we considered 2 different vehicles. He even stayed late the night before leaving on a vacation to work with us. We ended up going back the following week to purchase our beautiful Yukon. We loved the atmosphere at Nelson Mazda. No one was ever pushy and we never felt pressured. It was an all around great experience. When we picked the vehicle up, we noticed that the navigation disk and owners manuals were missing. The dealership agreed to reimburse us for the cost to purchase those items. Great customer service all around! We would definitely make the drive again!

I went to get a car for my teenage son. I wasn't pressured to make a purchase. I was asked simple information regarding what I was looking for and shown several options. I went in knowing what car I wanted and the price I wanted and left with exactly that. No haggling necessary. Everyone was genuinely nice not "salesman" nice. Humberto who was our sales rep was the nicest guy. I trusted him so much he basically picked out the color of my new car for me lol I love my new Mazda3 and I am so glad I went to Nelson Mazda to get it. If you are in the market for a new car go to Nelson Mazda. You won't regret it!

I was in the market for a car but I did not know what type of car I needed; so I logged into USAA's Auto Circle (super easy and so convenient). Within a few clicks, I found the car I wanted, and they linked me with Nelson Mazda dealership in Antioch, TN. I must add, using USAA knocked $1000 off the MSRP and qualified me for an auto loan of .99%. My dealer, Ben Mulaosmanovic, was AMAZING. He would text me periodically to see how I was doing for two months and if I was still interested in getting a car. He wasn't hounding me like you are thinking...he genuinely care about my car purchase. You see, I was living in the DC area temporarily, but home is TN. When I finally arrived in TN, I was in and out in less than 3 hours. Ben was GREAT to include the entire dealership. I have never laughed so hard, I felt like I was with family, truly. Nelson Mazda is a Christian-oriented dealership. I know I have found a friend in Ben and a dealership to recommend to all of my friends and family. Believe me, give them a try. You will not regret it.

From the moment that we arrived at the dealership, we felt valued as a customer. We were greeted at the door with a smile and offered bottled water. No pressure sales associate stayed near by but not to close during our whole experience. We drove over 2 hours to purchase a car from this dealership and would do it again if they had what we were looking for.

I just leased a CX-5 from Nelson Mazda, and it was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. I worked with Ben M. and he was great to work with. He was very attentive to what I wanted from the car and what would work best for me. I even went back a few times to test drive different cars to be sure I found the right one. They made an effort to work with my budget and were not at all pushy about trying to add extra features that I did not need, but made sure I was aware of all my options. It was clear that they truly want you to find a car that is the right fit for you, even if that means its not a car from them. I also worked closely with one of the managers, Al, who like Ben was great to work with and very patient about giving me time to consider all of my options. I would definitely recommend going to Nelson Mazda to anyone who asked!

Upon arrival at the dealership I drove around and checked the vehicles they had on the lot, stopped and looked at few vehicles without anybody bothering me, which this is the way I like it when buying a car. I don't like all those ants(sales people) coming to you at once. After finding a vehicle I would like to test drive, I went into the office and met Sarah Chismar, I asked her that I would like to test drive a CX-5 and she went and got the keys, we went for a test drive and she talked to me about what the SUV had to offer and she let me drive, she was very knowledgeable about all the features on the vehicle, she didn't try to push a sale on me and made me feel welcome. The next day I took my wife to test drive the CX-5 and she also was very impress with her knowledge, she asked a bunch of questions and Sarah responded them all. After leaving the dealership my wife and I decided to purchase the CX-5. Sarah gave us a good feeling about buying an SUV from them. The paper work took about an hour and as you all know a HAPPY wife goes a long way.

I had the opportunity to speak with Ben M. this week. I was looking to buy my very first vehicle. I was in a particular situation since I was about a 4 hour one way trip to the dealership. I asked Ben if he could fill out some checklist for used vehicles that I had emailed him and to also describe the car in full. Ben took his time in explaining the vehicle down to the smell. they had just placed a new clutch and he mentioned that there was still a smell, but it was normal. Ben filled out the checklist within the hour and emailed me back the scanned copy. He was very professional, informative, and had patience with me since im sick and coughed about 70% of the time through our conversations. due to my circumstances i was not able to buy the vehicle but i asked Ben to keep a look out for the type of vehicle i am interested in, i gave him my budget, and he told he would. I contacted Nelson Mazda about a vehicle they had an advertisement for. I had a few questions about the vehicle before driving there. Their salesperson said he would find the answer to my questions. The next day he contacted me back and said that the car had been gone for a few days. I looked to see if the ad was still up, and it was. He apologized and checked his stock to see if he had anything else that met my criteria, but he did not. I would hope they would remove ads for cars they no longer have in inventory in the future.

I am extremely disappointed with the attitude of these people. I was mainly talking to Eron and Al, and both have no knowledge, no honesty, and they showed no intention to be helpful. Because of them, I wasted some time already and will have to waste more. I came in to buy a used SUV. They took me for a test-drive, and it was fine. When I said that I would like to think about buying it, they started pushing me to make a decision fast. It looked pretty bad. The worst things happened later. When I actually purchased this car, they told me how to get the tags. Eron even wrote the instructions on paper. What he wrote was - go for an emission test, then take it to the county clerk. But it was completely wrong: when I came to the clerk, she told me that I actually need a title, and the dealer should give me it. I wasted some time on this useless trip downtown. I should say that, when I came to the dealer, they did not even apologize. Further, 20 minutes after I brought the vehicle home, I noticed that the seat adjustment does not work. Later I also noticed that the small back light is damaged. I am 100% certain that it was damaged before I bought the car. Of course, I had to look more carefully and I didn't; but I still think it is pretty bad and dishonest to sell vehicles with damaged lights, even to over-excited buyers. The back bumper actually suggests that this vehicle was in a small collision, which is not on Carfax. You can predict that, when I asked if they will repair these two things, they said no. They could at least say "sorry", but they did not. Overall, I am pretty disappointed. I will definitely never come there again. I strongly suggest to avoid these people. In case you do want to buy a car from them, take your time and look on every detail, inside and outside. Because you have no hope that they will actually tell you, if there is a minor defect.

I bought a Jeep last weekend and Eron was so nice and a pleasure to deal with. I don't particularly like dealerships and was dreading the entire experience. However Eron and Ken made the entire process perfect. I am excited about my used Jeep but I am even more pleased with the attitudes and helpfulness of both Eron and Ken. I bought a 2016 Mazda 3 5 door. Vince Johnson was my Salesman. He listened to my wants & concerns to get the car I wanted. He came through. Vince knows his products & explains the process clearly for me to understand. Steve Restivo was the Sales Mgr. Steve went long distance to help me get the car I wanted (trim/color). He got to a price I could live with. I met Tom Chanthavong when I went back to for a service advisement. He was very helpful and answered some other questions I had. All (3) of these guys made the effort to come and greet & talk to me when I went back for my 1st service (oil change). I had never been treated like this before. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

Although I did not purchase a car at Nelson Mazda last week, I wanted to take the time to give a thumbs up for my experience with Ben and the Nelson Mazda staff. They were so friendly and not pushy at all. The last time I purchased a car, I felt pressured and hurried. Ben was absolutely awesome, I felt like he truly wanted to get me the perfect car that fit my needs and wants. He did not make me feel pressured at all and I felt very welcome as soon as we entered the door. The test drive was great, with many different types of roads to get the full experience of the Mini I was driving. The non-haggling rule at the dealership made it less stressful. The manager was extremely nice, and although I did not purchase a car there, they made my car search a good thing. I'd highly recommend Nelson Mazda (especially Ben!) to my friends if they're looking for a new/used car!

He was very transparent the whole time and made sure you were as comfortable as possible. He first set everything up so they would work on the payment options while we went out and test drove it. I really enjoyed the test route they had me drive, it gave me a way to see how the car drove in every manner. When we got back the money started. It was a bumpy start at first because my credit was not the best. However, we both came to an agreement that worked out for me and made me feel the most comfortable. Ben, Steve and Ken were all great in making this an experience for my first time buying my own car!

We were looking for a nice car for our daughter to drive while finishing high school and use for college. We checked on line to see what was available. Nelson Mazda had by far the most quality used cars to choose from in our price range. Our salesman Ben M. was very pleasant and helpful to work with, with NO pressure to buy. He had a very good working knowledge of the inventory and pulled up the Car-fax on the one we chose to make sure we had all the information we needed to make an educated choice. I am more than happy with my experience at the dealership. I went in to purchase a car that I had applied for online. My sales person Ben M. called me, and i came in to look at the car. I was in the market to purchase a used vehicle rather quickly. Their website was well laid out and very informative. I contacted them via email and have a response by the next morning. I set up an appointment to view the vehicle and they had everything ready. Including the test drive and paperwork I was in and out in a bout three hours. I recently posted a review on 2/24/16, stating this dealership was a modern day devil,. The used sales manager reach out ro me that night and had me bring the car on for service the next day. But, Ben and the service department staff really did an awesome job servicing the car. It took longer than expected but the service department staff gave me a loaner car after 4 days of having my car in the shop. The service department staff fixed my car and did not charge me any thing, the used service manager wanted me to pay $200 towatd getting my car fixed after paying another garage a little over$200 to try to get the check engine light off. I really appreciate Ben and the service department staff for all they did. I would highly recommend anyone to see Ben only as well as get repairs at service department. Thank you, and may tbe Lord continue to bless Ben, service department staff and all who assisted with this matter.

I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience than what I experienced at Nelson Mazda Antioch. From the Finance Manager to the Salesman to the Business Manager, these guys were on the same page, and to me, that was making sure my wife and I were cared for as people and not just another sale coming in the door. Everyone was polite, welcoming, and genuine, and especially spoke very positively about their workplace. No one was in a rush. Everyone had a smile on their faces. I'm really busy these days. I'd done all my homework late at night and had the financing in place and merely wanted to test drive the Honda Fit I purchased and go. Used car dealers have a poor reputation generally, so I was dreading actually going to get my car. Ben was patient when I wasn't and kind when I was brusque. Really nice guy who did his best to make the experience as painless as possible. No experience with the service department, but I highly recommend Ben and the kind fellow who processed the paperwork. I love the car.

How many times can you go into a dealership and get exactly what you asked for from the type of vehicle to the payment that you want?. This was a no hassle no pressure transaction! This dealership and Ben were excellent. There was none of the pressure usually associated with buying a car. Ben and the team found exactly what we were looking for and for an excellent price. We live more than an hour from the dealership; so, after the vehicle was shipped in from another state, Ben took the time to meet us halfway to finish the delivery. After several calls to the Antioch location for a simple oil change and checkup on my RX8 before leaving on a trip I was told they were booked up and just blown off. I called the Cool Springs location with the same explanation and the Service advisor Devin Rogers told me they were book up but if I could be there at 7:00 the next morning he would do his best to work me in. I arrived at 7:00 and was back on the road within the hour. Devin knows what customer service is all about and could give the "staff" in Antioch some lessons. Thanks again Devin..

I met Ben M. when I came in to look at a used Toyota Sienna that I had found online. We immediately struck up a relationship that made me comfortable. Ben showed empathy toward me and my situation, and I felt very comfortable talking with him. I liked the "no haggle" pricing, because I didn't have to leave wondering if I paid too much because of my inexperience. I was there just to look at a Sienna. There were several online, at different dealers, from which to choose. I would say that it was my comfort level in dealing with Ben that had me driving out of there that night in that car. If you are in the market for a new or used Mazda or any other car for that matter I highly recommend this dealership. While I found the car online, the dealership experience was delightful and enlightening considering I had never purchased a car before. Ben, the employee I worked with was both friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in. I already knew I wanted a Mazda 3 because I loved one in the past and because it was rated highest by Car and Driver and by Consumer Reports. My sales rep, Neal Benson, was great at getting right to work with me and helping me choose between the 4-door and the 5-door and the 3 models. I test drove one even though I knew I didn't need to do so. When I finally decided on a 5-door and wanted the light blue, the manager found one for me at the Cool Springs location, and Neal went and got it for me. We have purchased Mazda's before and decided to compare the CX5 with the quote we received from Toyota on a RAV 4. The sales person was very helpful and the management is very friendly. They were very open to discussing their cars and even had a comparison of my car with the Toyota. The CX5 had very similar options to the Limited with a price similar to the XLS. Also, I got a 2016 and the Toyota was a 2015. Overall, a very positive experience.

From day 1 to the day I bought, everyone was fantastic. They answered all my questions (I had a lot) and spent just as much time/energy on me on day 1 (when I clearly stated I wasn't ready to buy) as they did when I came back ready to purchase. They were straightforward, encouraged me to do my research, and never pushed me to commit before I was ready. I hadn't purchased a car in almost a decade and these guys never demeaned my old car or judged me for being hesitant to commit to something new.

I purchased a used Toyota RAV4 from Ben M. at Nelson Mazda in Hickory Hollow. I didn't feel any pressure and he didn't try to persuade me to buy anything else. I was contacted by Sarah at 8 am and by 4 pm the same day I had a new car. Except for the final paperwork to purchase and finance the vehicle, nearly everything else was done over email. I knew exactly what I wanted and Sarah made no attempt to sway me otherwise. No upselling to a more expensive trim or pressure to purchase optional upgrades such as floor mats and cargo nets. I really can't imagine a more painless experience. Highly recommended.

I have always liked the Mazda CX-7 and CX-9 so when I was looking to buy a vehicle, that's what I put in the search when I started looking. I found one in my price range at Nelson Mazda. Even though they are almost 2 hours from where I live in Alabama, I made the trip for such a great deal. My husband and I test drove a CX-7 and were happy with it. Sarah even sent it through service for us before we left to make sure it was nice and clean to our liking. After a few days we saw a different CX-7 at Nelson that we liked better and went to trade. It was completely no hassle. I was at the dealership for less time than it took me to actually drive there! They worked everything out with USAA with my loan to make sure everything got changed correctly. I didn't have to do anything but swap cars! I highly recommend Nelson Mazda to anyone looking for any kind of vehicle. They have everything and will not give up until you are completely satisfied.

I purchased a new CX-5 and the process was great initially. I had no complaints about their service when they helped me to select a vehicle. I had leather added to the vehicle and was not shown a sample even though I requested to see a sample of the leather. I was not happy with what I received. It took me a week to get them to offer to resolve the issue and then they expected me to pay $250. I also received my permanent tags after the temporary tags expired. Their customer service is only good when they are taking your money. If they make a mistake they are slow to resolve the issue and do not care about making it right. I will not purchase another vehicle from this dealer or Mazda. I will also not use their service department if I can avoid it. I advise anyone else to think carefully prior to purchasing a vehicle from this dealer and from Mazda. Read the better business complaints against this dealer prior to purchasing a vehicle from them.

Tom and the staff at Nelson Mazda were so incredibly helpful and made SURE that we were happy and satisfied with everything about the car before we left. They cleaned it extensively, helped us get a replacement key fob, windshield and 4 new tires in no time. They really went above and beyond for us. We still got the vehicle that we really wanted just below blue book with fees included in that price. We couldn't be happier with our service, the lack of hassle and haggle, and the professionalism of everyone there. I think we were there for 2 hours total, including tires, windshield replacement, test driving and financing. Amazing.

Loved the no pressure sales experience, from the gentleman who took us on our trst drive all the way back to the financing office. I felt like they were more interested in me getting what I wanted rather than someone getting thier sales bonus. I was looking to buy a new MX-5 and there was not many around to drive. Over that weekend, my wife and I went to another dealer and saw that they added about $1700.00 on the list price for seat and paint protection, etc. and we decided not to buy there. On Monday, I called Nelson at Hickory Hollow and they had a Club version (second time I visited there). I really like the Ceramic color and black trim. Ben and I drove it around and then to Smyrna to show it to my daughter and her husband and while we were there, it seemed the neighborhood came out to see it. I was really thankful Ben let me make the drive there. Back at the dealership, I noticed that there was no add-ons to the price and was glad to see that. In fact during the deal, the manager Al dealt was me and the salesman Ben without doing the back and forward thing. Al and I also went out and drove my car to see how good it was for the trade in. Once I got the deal I wanted, I was really satisfied and then off the loan officer. I was pleasantly surprised when he (Ken) did not press me on other items to be added on after the sale. I have had in the recent past, not a good experience with a loan officer that wouldn't take no for an answer for add-ons. The follow up on the sale by Ben was also very welcomed. I think this is the way to buy a car.I really like my car.

I went to Nelson Mazda with the intention of trading in a Mazda for a 2016 Mazda 3 iSport. I had spent a few days communication through the online chat and got plenty of information. Once I arrived I spoke with Ben about what vehicle I wanted and what features I wanted with my car as well. He is very detail oriented and transparent. He wants you to know everything that he knows each step of the way. He knew how to make you smile and laugh while being serious when necessary. Although it was a longer process than expected and the number crunching was stressful, as it always is, Ben AND Steve were able to find a payment that worked for me. I appreciate all the time they put in making sure I was comfortable with the purchase and I am glad I was able to get the car I wanted with a reasonable price. The personality at Nelson Mazda is worth a visit.

Prior to meeting Ben, I never thought a car buying experience could be anything but a frustrating hassle. Ben was the most helpful and friendly salesperson I have ever worked with. While everyone we worked with was very friendly, Ben was nothing short of exceptional. I usually am really nervous when dealing with car purchases because the cliche car salesman has almost always been my experience, so I break out in hives before I ever get to test drive a car under normal circumstances. We had a great experience in our Purchase of a 2011 Toyota Tundra from Ben! No hives! No angry tummy... I kept waiting for the experience to change but was never disappointed, even to the extent that we received a thank you email from 2 different employees after the sale. The only thing I would have changed is that I wish they would have cleaned the truck we bought, It had been in their possession for quite some time and had been driven as a farm truck and obviously not cleaned inside or out. We mentioned it several times, but it was never addressed, however, in the end, we still couldn't resist the deal we got and are happy with the truck.

Went to this dealer after a family member recently purchased a vehicle. I would recommend this dealership to every person searching for a new car. Ben did not try to push a sale, but rather asked questions and figured out the best options for me. He then did all he could to get me the best deal possible, and pushed the process in order to get me out in a reasonable time. Working with Ben was not like working with a salesman, but rather like working with a friend. Great experience all around.

Nelson Mazda was recommended to us, and we were not disappointed. From the minute we met Vince, discussed our needs and wants, took a test drive, located the car we wanted, met Steve, and made the deal, it was professional and friendly. No high pressure, no pushy salesmen. They took our 1997 Mazda in trade, and provided a loaner car till ours could be brought from another dealership. This was our first "new" car purchase in many years, and it was the best.

We went to view the car that was posted on the cars.com website. It took them 10 minutes to find the car, and then it could not be started. You only get one chance for a first impression. you blew it. I would not ever recommend this dealership.

I needed a new car for my family. Two years ago I bought a Mazda2 that I loved, but when my family grew I realized we needed a bigger car. I wish I could say that I looked forward to buying a new car but the truth was I would have rather have had a root canal. Being a single female in search of a car is definitely its own type of hell. (Ladies you know what I'm talking about. Men be grateful you will never know!) I inquired about a car online and received an immediate response. I set an appointment to visit the dealership, and cue the ulcer. When I arrived I was warmly greeted and introduced to my sales rep Ben M. We sat down and discussed what I was looking for and needed. He had a genuine and heartfelt care in helping me find the perfect car. He was sincere and helpful from start to finish. This is the first car buying experience that I had where I felt I could relax because Ben had my best interests in mind. He is amazing!! This was not only the best car buying experience but best customer service experience of my life!! I also want to say the Finance Manager was awesome!! I went into this Nelson Mazda location yesterday, not to purchase a car (though I wanted to), but to ask if it were even possible due to my low credit score. Vincent Johnson greeted me at the door and was incredibly kind and helpful. He offered to help me find a way to finance my vehichle. In conjuction with Al Henson they listened to what I said was good for me. They found a way to get me an upgrade from the car I originally wanted and were able to make it do-able for me. I can't express how great my experience was. I felt like I was working with people I could trust and people that genuinely cared that I left with something I was happy and comfortable buying. They truly are incredible and I LOVE MY NEW MAZDA!!!

We drove an hour and a half to visit this dealership. The prices listed on the internet seemed to good to be true but we decided to give it a try anyway. Thank goodness we did! Our salesman was like no other, he was incredibly friendly and down to earth. He told us everything up front,and explained everything in detail. He took his time with us and was never pushy. Ben even stayed after his shift was over to see us off. I normally do not write reviews but I know how aggravating buying a car can be. Let alone finding a dealership that is trustworthy. I would recommend this dealership and most importantly Mr.Ben M to all my family and friends.

We found a 2009 Toyota Rav4 on CarGurus last night. It seemed like the exact car we were looking for. I called the dealership, because there was one fact important to us, but missing from the internet ad. We needed to know if a smoker had owned it, because we have a severely asthmatic son. To most people, the "sniff" test would be weird and we would've been blown off. However, it is a crucial part of our used car buying process. We didn't want to waste our time driving to the dealership if we knew up front he could not ride in it. The lady that answered was named Nicole. She was kind, informative, and gave my request to Al. He went to the car himself and called back with the clean air results. I told him we would be there this morning. The manager Steve met us at the door with professionalism and friendliness. He introduced us to our salesman Elijah. Elijah had the best car salesman approach we've ever experienced. He was honest, helpful, never pushy, and so kind. The car was exactly what we wanted and he made the transaction so easy. Throughout the process, Elijah, Steve, and the finance manager made buying a car enjoyable. They are honest people and do incredible jobs. We are thrilled with our car. Thanks again!

At my age, I have bought a lot of cars. The sales manager remembered our name after the last buy being from 2003! Ben M. met us in the parking lot with no pressure and an acute awareness that we were not sure of our intentions. We drove 3 or 4 cars and spent most of the day in comparisons. My Wife and I had full intentions of buying a previously owned vehicle. Ben seemed pleased to pull out any vehicle we had an interest. Conducted enjoyable test drives, with an unbelievable knowledge of each brand that we tried. We got to know and appreciate one another and developed a fun and friendly rapport. Randy, a Manager, is always ready to do whatever makes us happy, as He also was in 2003 with our first Mazda. This guy has an inherent knowledge of people skills that are far above the average. Ben and Randy alone are enough to make any buyer want to deal with Nelson Mazda aside from the fantastic products. We bought the model off the showroom floor, that far exceeded our intentions, but in retrospect would not have had it any other way. This dealership and the wonderful Mazda products will truly "make a believer out of you." Go to Nelson Mazda in Hickory Hollow, give Randy a hard time (you will have fun) and then ask for Ben to complete the transaction!

The values that Ben and this dealership demonstrated are to be commended. Everyone seemed genuniely friendly with warm welcomes. The test drive was lengthy and comprehensive in a good way and the entire environment was no pressure from beginning to end. These people live out their values in the way they treat their customers. I appreciated their boldness with their values and ethics. They aren't afraid to be different as they are closed on Sunday and play uplifting music. The place was clean with a comfortable environment. Ben is the one to go to if you are looking for a vehicle. And when you leave you will have made a friend too.

This was my first time purchasing from a dealer and I was pleased to see that the process was much less complicated than I expected. The salesman Ben was great and very patient, he spent the whole day working with us. Randy and Kenny were awesome as well. Where we were a little let down at was when we were waiting on our counteroffer to be accepted, we were ushered into another room by the finance manager and was asked to start signing paperwork. We hadn't agreed to anything or been told what the final numbers were yet, even Kenny was a little surprised that we didn't know what our numbers were. We eventually agreed with the final numbers but would have liked some time to think it over before we were put into that position. Also we bought a fairly new car, it only had 15k miles on it, but did not receive complimentary services that usually come with car buying (i.e. full tank of gas and car detailed). Instead the car was a little dirty and the fuel tank was under half full. We were told that that the detail shop was closed for the day (understandable considering it was after 5pm on the fourth of July) and that fuel was for new car buyers. I have gotten both of these services anytime I have ever bought a car, even from a buy here-pay here. These are really minor complaints though in comparison with the service we received but useful criticism if you want the car buying experience to be truly exceptional.

Our 2004 Ford Taurus finally succumbed to the beating of 330k miles with a transmission failure. We immediately started looking for a replacement and landed at Nelson Mazda looking at used SUVs. After test driving many used vehicles I looked at a Mazda3 hatchback. This seems to fit our needs so we went with that. O'Bil Perez was our product specialist. Bil was very helpful and patient as we test drove several vehicles and asked a lot of questions. He respected our budget even when I asked about other vehicles that were outside of our price range. Bill would let me know that the vehicle price was outside our limits and not pursue it further. Ultimately, we drove home with a new vehicle with full intentions of wearing it out! This car buying experience was as good as it could possibly be.

My daughter had literally, that day, moved to the Nashville area and I went with her to purchase a car (her first time purchasing on her own). I had a wonderful experience at Nelson Mazda. My budget was between 4-8k and I didn't know too much about cars and I was also in a hurry because I'm moving and starting school really soon. Needless to say, I walked in a little stressed out and wary of being ripped off or feeling uninformed, but Ben immediately reassured me that everything would be okay. He really got to know what my specific needs were and what would work for me. As soon as I saw the red Toyota Matrix, I thought, yes this will be perfect for me. If I am in Nashville by the time I get a new car I will definitely visit Nelson Mazda and seek Ben's awesome help again.

My experience here was unlike any other I have ever had buying a car. These guys really seemed on the level and I feel perfectly comfortable with my purchase. I wish I had found this dealership years ago. They have certainly earned my repeat business. I went in to check out a low milage used Mazda6. When I checked it out, I discovered that it had not been well taken care of by the previous owner. I told the "product specialists" (not salesman as he is non-commission) that the car did not meet muster. And that was that. He engaged in no gymnastics nor employed any sales tactics to try to sell me the car. He just said, "sorry the car did not work out." What a relief. No hassle. As I was leaving the sales manager came over, of course, and asked if he could interest me in anything else. Ultimately, he offered me a solid deal on another car, a new car, and a bona-fide solid deal (confirmed by my car-freak, habitual car-buyer/seller brother). No pressure, no non-sense, just, "this is what we've got, are you interested?" THE PROBLEM: As we did the paper work, a runner went to fetch the car from their downtown location. I signed on the dotted line and handed over my down payment. The new car arrived and the sales manager came to me profusely apologetic. When it arrived he saw that It had a dent. A dent I would not of seen as it was dark by this time, and even after he pointed it out to me I still could hardly see it. He could have watched me drive away in that car, but didn't. THE FIX: He is going to replace the car, not give me a repaired car (he had me write down the VIN# so I could be sure that what they bring is indeed a different car). I live about 140 miles away from the dealership so coming back when the replacement arrives is a bit inconvenient. So, he handed me the keys to a comparable car (different color/same model) and sent me home. In a few days when the replacement arrives he will have it delivered to me 140 miles away. All I have to do is walk out my front door and swap keys with someone. Now that is a stand-up businessman. I was particularly impressed at 2 points: a) the loaner car had only 3 miles on it. By the time they get it back to the lot it will have over 300miles on it and they did not even hesitate to do it. b) they were genuinely concerned and very upset that this snaffu had occurred and stepped up in grand fashion to make it right. I will absolutely buy my next car from this dealership and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is about to buy. The survey asks if I'd recommend this dealer to a friend, heck, I'd recommend them to my mother. Plus, I love the car! My first Mazda and it is GREAT!

I went in there with poor credit and $500 for a downpayment. I saw they had what I wanted for a fair price and that was all we focused on. Nobody tried up selling me, and they made sure they'd be able to work with me before coming in. Ben M was an exceptional salesman and was very easy to talk to. The finance department was able to get me a much better APR then I expected. I would recommend this dealership and would advise anyone to talk to Ben M.

I stared the car buying experience expecting the worst!! Everything from pushy and irritating to arrogant liars. Thankfully Nelson Mazda was nothing like that!! This was my second purchase from Nelson Mazda my first was a CX-7 while I was happy to have a good reliable car I was never comfortable in the car it just was not the car for me but I drove what I could get. I voiced my concerns to Tom and went above and beyond to help me get into something I was comfortable in and would enjoy driving. Now this did not happen over night it took work behind the scenes to get the numbers right but they worked diligently to ensure I was satisfied. I do not think I will be needing a vehicle anytime soon but when my daughter is ready to purchase her first car in a few years we already know where we will be going. The team at Nelson Mazda has converted me from a Chevy girl to a Mazda woman! Zoom Zoom on over to Tom, Al, Ken they will take very good care of you car buying needs.

Bought a used car today and was very impressed with Product Specialist Elijah Taylor and the rest of the team at Nelson Mazda HH. Elijah was courteous, informative, prompt, organized and a pleasure to work with. He asked all the right questions and was able to meet my needs. Aside from all the paperwork and the usual (boring) business that goes hand in hand with any major purchase, he actually made my morning fun! All in all, it was an enjoyable experience. I wasn't pushed or oversold and, as a female, never felt condescended (you know what I'm talking about, ladies). Al was straightforward and kept things moving right along. Ken in Finance wrapped things up perfectly! I would have liked to see a better detailing job on the interior of my car, but no other complaints. Go see Elijah and give Nelson Mazda a shot!

Thanks to Ben M. for all his help and making the process painless! When we went for a test drive, i mentioned to my friend "i wonder how you set the clock?". I didn't think anything else about it. When i went back in to pick up the car, Ben had set the clock! It seems like a small detail but it meant a lot to me. He pays attention to details, even the small ones!

I had read positive many positive reviews online about Nelson Mazda, but I never expected it to be such a pleasant experience. Tom Chanthavong was extremely knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun! He seemed passionate about Mazda and excited to show my husband and I all of the features of the car we were interested in purchasing. After test driving the car and looking at options, he looked up the model we wanted and it was at one of Nelson's other dealerships. Tom personally went to pick it up and even though it was closing time he took the time to make sure we were comfortable with the car before we left. He went above and beyond what I consider excellent customer service. The manager, Al Henson, was also very helpful and worked diligently to get me the best interest rate possible. I felt like I was able to make an informed decision and couldn't be happier with my new car!

It was easy, fast, very pleasant and fun buying a car at Nelson Mazda Antioch. Elijah Taylor was very attentive to our needs. He is very friendly, very professional and very good person. He helped us a lot during the process of choice, he didn't push us towards something we didn't like. Big variety of cars. Their "test drive route" is just awsome. It helps to see all pluses and minuses of your future car. Also can recommend you Elijah Taylor, really great man who gives adequate advices. And what also plus that whole process of financing of a car took two hours and not 5 days like in other dealerships.

This was simply the best car buying experience we've ever had. The friendliness is second to none, the attentiveness to my needs and wants was far more than ever expected. I truly expect to be lifelong customers of Nelson Mazda. From Ben in Sales to the finance team and the managers we met I can honestly say they take great pride in taking care of their customers. The best part of it all is that it feels authentic and not like salesmanship or just company policy. Everyone I encountered took pride in making it the best possible experience. Ben went out of his way to find the perfect car for me (even going to another location and bringing a car back for me to test drive, that I didn't even purchase). I always have a great experience at Nelson Mazda at Hickory Hollow. Lonnie works in the service dept. and he is another person I trust with my cars. He is very friendly and always takes care of me in a professional way. Lonnie always lets me know what my car needs to have done to it, and I get it done because I know Lonnie would not tell me that a part needs to be replaced if didn't. Lonnie is another person that is a asset to your company. Thanks Lonnie.

Nelson Mazda at Hickory Hollow has "made a believer out of me!" Every member of their sales staff is wonderful! The general manager found me the car that I wanted and I was in and out in a jiff - smiling the whole time. Wonderful people who really want to make sure that you get what you want at a price that you can afford. Mazda's are great cars and when you combine that with a great staff who just wants to make you happy, you can't ask for anything better. I love my Mazda CX-5 and will continue to buy from Nelson!

This is a first class dealershup. It's all about the customer with no pressure. Tom was beyond amazing helping with ever step of the process. Being a Christian man this place was the best because that is what they are based on. They even played Christian music in the showroom. This place was so great that I hated leaving and with Tom I felt that I was talking and buying a Car from a best friend. I can tell you this if are looking for a first class friendly place to buy a car this is the place. There are just too many words to discribe this dealership.

Absolutely elated with my purchase, more so with unbelievable customer service, Ben and the staff were dared to get the payments to my wife's (business mgr.) budget, after she shot down any chance of doing so, especially having a chapter 13 discharged 8 months ago expectations were met or exceeded, Ben was outstanding accommodating the most fowl weather happening. Anyone interested in another vehicle will be pointed to this dealership.

All dealerships could learn a lot from this dealership. From start to finish first class all the way. Normally you expect as soon as you walk into a dealership the pressure to buy or hurry up begins. Not there it is simple tell me what you need and we will do it. Not even knowing who I was or what I was there for I was met outside asking if I would like something to drink. This is an outstanding place to go. Me being a Christian man and a big believer of God was totally surprised at this place because the whole place was centered around this. They where even playing gospel music tell me where in car dealership can you find this. Tom was more than amazing we shared stories about our faith and daily lives. It felt like I was talking to a best friend so much I didn't want to leave. I will tell you this there no dealership anywhere that will spend the time with you or make you feel more at home than this place.

My old Saturn finally died on me. I didn't want to spend money getting her fixed so I began to look at buying another car. I did not want to go to a "buy here pay here" plus I knew Nelson Mazda had excellent reviews for their customer service. I checked online for cars that looked like they would be in my budget. A young lady name Nicole contacted me right away when I had placed a request about a Chevy I was interested in. She set up an appointment for me to come in and look at the vehicle. I was beyond impressed already. I went in the following morning with one thought in mind. "If these payments aren't what I need I walk away". I was greeted when I walked in by Manager Al Henson. He proceeded to introduce me to one of his sales staff, Elijah Taylor. Me and Mr. Taylor went over to his cubicle and got down to car business. I told Elijah what payments I needed. I said I was not here to waste my time or theirs. We did the paperwork and within a few minutes they had numbers for me: $223 a month at the most. I said that this was acceptable and that we could proceed. Me and Elijah went on a test drive that was quick but efficient. I told him that the car was practical but I wasn't in love with it. I new that the car was perfect for what I needed for me and my family. I agreed that if they cleaned it up and fixed the yellowed headlight I would buy it. We finished up with more paperwork so everything was in the hands of Careginal, finance manager who finalized all the paperwork. My payments ended up being $190 so SWEET! This is an amazing dealership I would recommend anyone to come here and deal with Nelson Mazda. I'm a new customer and probably will be one for as long as I am in Tennessee.

Wow, this dealership and their employees are phenomenal! Truly! Vince my sales rep was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable in the truck I wanted. He found one at a perfect price! And didn't stop working until I got approved! He went above and beyond! I've never felt so valued as a customer before and I was treated like family! Everyone from the finance manager to the services guys to the sales people everyone was amazing. I will be back for my next vehicle!

Glen O was a great sales representative who took us from first test drive to purchase of my husband's and my first vehicle purchase. It was a used vehicle with a wholesale price so not a high profit vehicle, but we were treated spectacularly regardless. Glen truly modeled and extended a high level of customer care unlike a few other dealers we visited in our vehicle search. While at Nelson Mazda everyone was kind and ready to assist. We did not feel pressured and were encouraged that our vehicle needs from price point to reliability were truly taken into consideration even in the finance office as we met with Careginald. We will keep Nelson Mazda at top of our list for future vehicle purchases for sure!

I really can't say enough about how much these guys took care of me and made me feel very super comfortable with the entire buying process!I wanted to take a look at a certified CX-9 they had on the lot. I walked in and met Ben, and told him my situation, and he pulled it around, let me take a look, and then took a test drive. Ben listened to what I was looking for in the car, and let me just drive and form my own opinion of the car. He did not try to push it on me, or point our features that I already knew about, he just let me drive! Thank you!! When we got back to the dealer I met a few other of the guys that I would be working with, asked me how I liked the car, and again made me feel at home, with no pressure. It seemed clear that they wanted to help me find the right car - not just sell me that car! Turns out, that was the right car. Once I decided to purchase, Ben and the team got to work, and explained every step of the process which was very helpful very much the way I like to conduct business. Ben made sure that the entire process was as open and transparent as possible. The trip to the finance department was painless as well. They explained to me a few of the additional services they offered, I refused most of them with no problem, but did agree to purchase an extended warranty.Within an hour or so, all the paperwork was done, the keys were in my hand, and I was driving away! Not only happy with the car, but also happy with the experience!Update: Once I got the car home I noticed two very small things (windshield wiper and and second remote battery) that needed to be replaced. I took the car in, and both were replaced very quickly with no charge. NELSON ROCKS!

This past weekend I came back to Nelson Mazda Hickory Hollow for my 2nd time in 7 months, and worked once more with Ben M. This was such a great second experience built on an already awesome foundation. I recommend Ben and the team (Randy, Ken, all) to anyone who is looking for a car. These guys are so fantastic that I drove 2 hours to buy from these guys instead of the Mazda dealer in my hometown. I had worked a deal with Randy over the phone before getting there, and Ben was there to greet me. Ben is a very friendly and interesting person to talk with. Both he and Randy are genuine people that worked through every minor question and concern. In the end, I bought a different car for a much better value, and I will not hesitate to refer my friends or drive the distance for another car.

This time purchasing was much better than my previous purchase of my Mazda3, which was with Alexander Mazda in Cool springs....thumbs down for sure. The purchase of this Mazda6 is very impressive and has all of the bells and whistles. Again, I wasn't looking for a new car, therefore, I didn't come pre-approved, nor any research, so again, I got caught in their financing, not bad. I wasn't sure and I'm still not sure of the Soul-Red color, but it's catching...I kind of miss the storage space from the hatchback that I had. I finally took my long drive to the southeast and my neck and back are still in pain. The headrest does not rest properly on the back of the head of someone who is 5, 4 and under. I'm not sure if it's the bucket seats or what that caused the back and neck pain, but definitely the headrest. The ride was smooth, but the headrest could use some work, really bad...For some reason, the TPM (tire pressure monitor) comes on quite often, even in the nice weather, which is odd?? However, the tire pressure was always correct. The oddest thing was the gas cap, which had been on for miles and all of a sudden the warning light comes on for no reason... Maybe I hit a bump? This car really showed it's Salt on my way back on our 1st snow day driving in the snow...the front wheel drive did all the work. It handled pretty good in the snow, sleet and rain. While driving in curves, the high beam do not appear to be very high, not sure why, but the lighting doesn't cast very well. The windows are much better with the windows in my old Mazda3, you don't hear the 'road and tire noise;. The back seat rider, mentioned that the seats are too far back, you need a pillow to sit up or you will experience back problems. If I plan to keep this car, I will need to get custom slimline headrest???? for my new car. Overall experience was good and I feel like I got a lot of car for the $$$$.

I came in on a nice sunny day to purchase a car. My brother and I waited for a least 30 minutes looking around and not one person came to ask us if we need help. Let me start of by saying this was my first car buying experience. All my life I have heard stories about the "awful" car sales men. I went into Nelson Mazda with the mentality that having a root canal would be a better situation than what I was about to go through and then I met Ben. From the first initial contact I made with Ben to the time I was driving home in my new car it was nothing less than an exceptional time. He answered any and all of my questions, addressed all of my concerns and didn't have to bad of a sense of humor I might add. Tom was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was so patient and kind. As a first-time car buyer, I wasn't sure of exactly what I wanted in a car. Ben helped us find a car that fit our price range, had all the bells and whistles I wanted, and never pressured us into any car we had no interest in. He allowed me to test drive multiple vehicles and even helped me set up the bluetooth in the car I ended up choosing! Very happy with my new car!

After my insurance totaled out my vehicle, I had a limited amount of time to purchase another vehicle. I went online completed the application with my specifics. I received a call from Nelson Mazda and was immediately put in touch with someone. This process was painless. I knew what I wanted and they saw fit to make sure that I got it. I am now a happy driver of another CX-9 with all the bells and whistles. Although the vehicle was not at the location I purchased the car from, they went to the next level to secure my purchase from another location. Thank you for assisting me with this process.

I couldn't be happier with the way my car buying experience went. From the moment I walked in, Ben made sure to listen and find out what I wanted and needed in a car, and then let me pick out cars to look at. At other dealerships, I have felt like I was being pushed toward what the salesperson wanted to sell, but at Nelson Mazda I felt like they were honestly trying to find what worked best for me. I bought a car from them a few months ago, had some issues and was able to get into a brand new car. They were able to work with my credit even though it wasn't the best, and there was no pressure.Ben was very laid back and was able to find a couple cars in my range and was able to stick with my monthly payment. Hands down the most enjoyable buying experience ever. I have bought many cars over the years, but I will say that Ben M at Nelson Mazda, Antioch was the most enjoyable and product knowledgeable man that I have ever purchased a car from....No pressure at all. Told him upfront what we were looking for and what are budget was, and off he went.....Unfortunately for him he had to endure three different test drives before my wife and I were both happy and in agreement.....We purchased a used 2012 Mazda CX-7.. ,and couldn't be happier......The whole process was auctually a breath of fresh air...than to top that off, the finance agent we had the pleasure of meeting, Mr. Allen just put it over the top with his professionalism and light humor to make the processing of signing the many papers required, an enjoyable experience also.....would recommend this dealer to anyone that asks....Hands down

From the get go, everyone was incredibly helpful, up front with me about the buying process, and very friendly. I am a first time buyer and was looking for a new vehicle that I could drive "until the wheels fell off" for a reasonable price. After test driving a CX5 and a 6, I decided to go with the Mazda 6, and couldn't be happier with the vehicle. Throughout the process, Ben was very kind and was sure to answer my many questions adequately or find the answer if he was at all unsure. When it came down to pricing and numbers, Randy was very helpful and informative on any topic I broached, and found any and all discounts that were applicable to me. In fact, he offered more for my old car that I would have been able to get by selling it privately. I was shocked and so pleased that everyone there was willing and able to help me at every turn. After purchasing the vehicle and being assured that an after market remote start would be put on the vehicle (my choice), it was discovered that it would not work correctly on the 2015 Mazda 6. So, instead of just leaving me without a remote start, Ben immediately placed an order for the factory version (much more expensive, but was made for that vehicle) and had the remote start system installed there at the dealership with no extra charge. I was given a loaner car when I needed it, and Randy even approved use of it out of state for my travel. I was impressed by the level of commitment to a good buying experience for their customers and their willingness to be up front and honest about everything that was happening. I never felt that anyone was trying to pull one over on me, or that anyone was pressuring me to buy like I expected would happen. Once it came down to financing, Careginald was great and took his time to explain the numbers, warranties, and the financing process to me as needed. I really appreciated his help in what could have been an extremely confusing conversation.Overall, I really enjoyed my experience, and should I need a new car in the future, and if the same set of people are there, I wouldn't mind coming back to them.

I have nothing but adjectives to speak about Elijah Rashad Taylor, product specialist, and the best compliments to describe the wonderful experience I had Saturday morning at the Mazda on 5300 Mount View Road, Antioch, Tennessee 37013. Mr. Elijah was very professional from beginning to ending. After leaving the Kia dealership I decided to just take a trip to Mazda before my next appointment with Chevrolet. Mazda is where I should have gone first because of the details to meet all of my needs. Assuring me that the car I drove off the lot with would be the right car for me. I love my New 2014 Mazda 2. Its at a price I can afford, the color I wanted, and with a good interest rate. The whole experience at Mazda has completely changed my mind about any other make or model of cars. My buying expearance was great its what happens after that sucks I have a car that no one at mazda can fix and that is how it was sold to us broken, check Eng light is on and even after being in the shop four or five times they still can't fix so now I am stuck with a $12,000 hunk of crap. They sure made a beleaver out of me.

Nelson Mazda exceeded all our expectations for the purchase transaction of our car! From the initial call to inquire, the reception when we arrived (with a signed note greeting us in the front windshield with our names - Wow! great personal touch!), the cordial no pressure atmosphere, warm & hospitable, car ready for inspection, salesperson assigned to us was super nice, offering to take an incredible country curvy road test drive (this was the absolute best part!), to the decision to purchase and final transaction with the finance guy.....the best car buying experience I've had in my lifetime. I'm 58 years old and have bought numerous cars....this was the best experience ever! I highly recommend Nelson Mazda. One other neat part about buying from them - they play music in the sales area and work area that is amazing! You'll be impressed with the faith, integrity, honesty, and straightforward way they serve you. My wife and I loved the whole process even though we were rushed. They accellerated the process to get us out and driving away quickly without trying to oversell. They focused on "us" and our needs the entire time. Could it get any better? Improvement areas - need to upgrade the facilities, bathrooms, showroom, etc. Could use a little make over. However, the staff and their attentiveness more than made up for the older showroom facilities.

After having tried every car lot in the area and being actively refused to be sold to, I eventually found my way to Nelson Mazda. Didn't have much hope as I had zero credit history and first time buyer with no money down. Nelson Mazda and Ben were the first and only reps to even try to work something out. We tried the first time to no avail, had to have a down payment. After a few days, I got some financial assistance from work, and was able to make the deal work. Ben was absolutely amazing to work with and the site. Please fact that he was willing to actually do his job and even attempt to make a sale work impressed the he'll out of me. Came in on short notice to get the deal worked out 30 minutes before closing, and even though it had been a long day for everyone involved, everyone needed in the process stayed hotel the details were worked out. The terms were lower than I expected, and while not ideal (due to my credit siuation) Ben got me a car in my price range and with what I needed. Nelson Mazda and Ben will have a customer for life.

This was by far the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. Ben took the time to really find out what our needs were, what we were willing to pay and what we weren't. There was no haggling, trying to talk us into getting more than we need, etc. The selection process was easy since Ben knew what we wanted, the test drive went really well, with a long enough drive in different driving environments so we had a good idea of the cars handling. We were provided with a CarFax report on the car along with all the previous service records from the previous owner. We had limited time to shop so we really thought it would be a multi day process, but the staff was so friendly and efficient that we were able to complete everything in one evening. Highly recommend Nelson Mazda and Ben especially!

Had a good experience here...was haggle free and they did not try to change my mind like every other place I've been to. The detail person didn't do the best at cleaning the car, however, it was used so maybe that is the way it is suppose to be. Ben was very nice, not pushy and took care of all he said he would. The title clerk took their sweet time in getting my title work to clerks office when it was a cash deal it should not have been a delay. Overall tho it was a good experience.

Thankful to Ben M. for an awesome experience. Before the Nelson Mazda in Antioch, I had visited the dealer in Cool Springs, Franklin TN and my experience their was sub-par to the point that I had almost written off purchasing a Mazda. However, I gave another try to the Antioch dealer and Ben M. was very friendly and honest about everything Nelson Mazda had to offer. Definitely recommend Ben M. for anyone that places importance on car buying on how a dealership treats them. Will definitely buy from here again.

The people who helped me find my car were fantastic. Especially Vincent, he was very helpful and kept me company through the long buying process. The only negative input is that the process was very slow. However I was told upfront that they were short staffed. All in all it was a great buying experience and I would highly recommend Nelson Mazda for New or used vehicles.

Just bought a Mazda 3 s Grand Touring from here, the people I met here were genuine and hardworking; test driving with Romaine helped us confirm the Mazda 3 was the right car for us, we had test driven a Nissan Altima the night before, but it was meeting Al Henson that sealed the deal for us, you cannot ask for a more helpful, genuine, hardworking person to make sure the whole process was smooth and easy for my wife and I to get the car with the color and trim we wanted. The car is just beautiful, we love everything about the car, and we appreciated the service that came with it.

June 11, 2014I visited my local KIA Dealer 5 years ago because I really wanted a Kia Forte. They treated me like CRAP! So I went to Nelson Mazda of Hickory Hollow instead, and they gave me a GREAT DEAL on a Ford Focus and treated me with nothing but kindness and respect. After that one sale, they earned my loyalty for good! I started looking for another new car this month, and I found the PERFECT one for me at Nelson again -a 2010 Kia Forte, which I have wanted for 5 years now. However, the one I had my heart set on, had not arrived at the dealership yet, when I visited on a recent Saturday. I spoke with Ben Mulaosmanovic that day, and he assured me they would inform me as soon as it came in and would do everything they could to get it all ready for me as quickly as possible. When it arrived there 3 days later, Ben, called me right away to let me know, and as of that moment, he (and the rest of the Mazda staff) did an absolutely WONDERFUL JOB to get that car through the safety inspection, and get it all cleaned and shined up for me as quickly and thoroughly as possible. They did not "pressure" me at all, or try and get me interested in something more "high-end" or expensive that I couldn't afford, or that I didn't need. They allowed me to set my own pace, and when they understood I knew what I wanted, they helped me come up with something that was in MY best interest, not theirs. And THAT one key quality, truly earned my RESPECT for THEM, as a great local business. One I will return to again and again. The entire staff at Nelson (and Ben, especially) went entirely ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations, to do everything they could to get that car into my hands quickly, and to get the right payments worked out for me, and that very night I drove it off the lot... a VERY happy customer, once again! I would like to THANK the entire Nelson of H.H. staff, (and salesman Ben M. in particular), for not only valuing my patronage and my loyalty to them, but also for treating me with utmost respect, valuing my business, and for doing everything they could to cater to my needs and wishes as a customer who know exactly what I wanted, and they did it with the highest level of excellence and commitment. I am advising anyone who is going to buy a car from this dealership to go over and over again in detail about their 90 days warranty. My experience is very bad with them. They couldnt change a headlight and fix a circuit problem on ths front light. All they care about is lying n selling cars period!!!

After bought a car from this dealership what I encountered was unbelievable. I was told I have a 90 days warranty and after that I have the option of buying an extended warranty. Again I was told time and again if I have any problems with that car in 90 days just to bring it back and will be taking care of. But guess what..I was having a front light problem with this car from day 1. I brought it back a bulb was changed and still have the same problem. Second time I went back to this dealership before the 90 days of warranty..I was told a different story that I have to pay..I asked to speak with a manager called Tim. And he was rude, very unproffessional and hung up the phone with me. This was how bad this dealership. I am no longer carry on their logo on my tag plus I wouldnt recommend anyone to have the same experience I had. All the sweat talk you get from this dealership is until you buy the car and then bye...

I came into Nelson Mazda (Hickory Hollow) as a first time new car buyer. I was hesitant to work with a dealership, as I didn't want to be pressured into buying something out of my means. I encountered quite the opposite with Nelson Mazda. I was treated with respect through the entire process, and all of my questions were answered thoroughly, no matter how silly they were. There wasn't a person in the building that didn't take the time to make sure I was being helped, and ask if I wanted water or anything else to make this process for comfortable. Beyond the courteous staff, the sales manager took the time to work and get me the best deal possible on my new Mazda CX-5.

Although it took me awhile for me to get leave the lot, not because of anything the workers were doing, everyone was friendly and kept conversation with me as time went by. First I would like to say that I own a Mazda Miata and absolutely love my car. My husband started doing research on the Mazda 3 and fell in love with it. We went to the downtown Mazda dealer but they didn't have the hatch back in stock and didn't know when one would be in. A couple of days later we went to the Hickory Hollow Mazda dealer and they did have one we could test drive. They also found one that could be shipped to them (My husband had to have the red one with black interior). We made the purchase on President's Day and they actually let my husband drive his truck (which he was trading in) home because it would take a few days for the car to get to them. My husband did not want them to drive the car to Hickory Hollow, he insisted it be trucked in. They called us a few days later and said the car was there and we picked it up on a Saturday. My husband was like a little boy with a new toy, he was so happy. The only hiccup we had was the open door light would not go off. He called the dealer and got the technician who told him that was a warranty problem and my husband started to panic, thinking that any small problem would be a major problem. After several angry calls from him we discovered that the hatch back has to be firmly closed for the light to go off. I would just like to say that Al and his whole team showed patience and courtesy through this whole ordeal and that this was never their fault. Aaron (our salesman) was very new but extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I believe he's found his niche. I would highly recommend this dealership and encourage anyone to do business with them.

My over all experience was good. But I did think the car I purchased was way over the price it should have been so they did come down after I mentioned it. If it was an excellant dealership it would not have been priced as high as it was. The sales person was new and tried very hard.He was not responsible for the cost of the car and did speak to his manager to bring it down. I felt that the financial department was a little pushy and really didnt want to listen to my questions kept hurrying me along. Just because they know what they are doing they could make the customer feel alittle more at ease.

we owned a 2008 mazda 5 and wanted a smaller car with better millage. tom greeted us at the door as we came in and went rightto work to help us find the right car we wanted. we didn't get the color we wanted ,but the color we got is beautiful, I love it. tom wasvery helpful in getting what we wanted on the car. such a very nice guy with a great smile. so glad we came back to mazda itsa great car. we gave the top rating because mazda is a great car,i would not buy anything else. the manager and every one there was so very nice. offered us coffee or water. we had to come back the next day for the car as it was at another dealership ,but we didn't mind as we wanted the car. they felt bad because we had to come back and was so sorry they didn't have the car there, but we were ok with that. we hadan appointment to have the low jack put on the car today but the people who was to put it on said they didn't know about the app. sowe have to come back tomorrow to have it done. but that's ok its not their fault things happen and you just go on from there. all will be better tomorrow. so thanks to a great sales person and all who work at this dealership we had a great time and laughted a lot. this dealership is the best and I will tell everyone I know who wants to buy a car to come there, even if they are not looking right now threy can keep this dealership in mind ,and tell everyone they know about it also. thank you so much. carol deneen

This is my second purchase of a Mazda vehicle - my first being 2011 Mazda2. I was immediately greeted at the door by Mr. Chanthavong and politely asked about my purpose for the visit. I did not feel pressured or was intimidated. Although the vehicle I wanted was not there, the entire team listened to what I wanted and matched me with a vehicle which would fit me and my price range. Mr. Henson worked with me on the price and my trade in value - to which I am very happy. He was quick, focused and made decisions regarding his dealership's offer to me. Mr. Chanthavong explained all benefits and features of owning a Mazda vehicle and provided me with a list of available models. He drove me to the secondary location to retrieve my new vehicle and made sure that all my belongings were transferred from my old Mazda and to the new one. He even took a second look, and discovered that I left my garage opener, which he promptly returned to me as well. I bought my first vehicle at a different dealership in TN where I felt as if I was in a poker room with professional players; it was an uncomfortable experience. Not at Nelson Mazda HH - there, the entire experience was pleasant and I feel that I received a great price for a quality product.I will definitely recommend this dealership to all of my friends and co-workers.

I am a little late with my review but I went into Nelson Mazda Antioch Nov 29th 2014 with no real hope of buying a car but Tom and Al Changed that they worked hard to find affordable financing and got me approved for a certified Mazda CX7 I am very happy with my car and if the time comes I need to purchase something else I will take my business to them and recommend them to any family or friends looking to purchase as well the overall experience was not scary they made it very easy to do business with them (great team) I didnt feel like I was having a car forced on me they wanted to make sure I was in the right car for me and my family..Thanks

Honest, patient, and friendly. Helped us find the right car, and explained every step of the way. Our 3rd vehicle bought from Nelson. They didn't play the dreaded "let me ask the sales manager game." Some of the surprise dealership perks helped add peace of mind in the purchase. Not everyone at the dealership was great, but Mike and Careginald were two of the best I've worked with in any transaction period. I grabbed a stack of Mike's business cards to pass on the good word about him.

I went to Nelson Mazda to look at one specific car. He took me right to the one I wanted and we looked it over together. Then we took a test drive. The car drove great and it was exactly what I was looking for. In a short period of time I paid cash and he had it ready to go for me. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car. Best experience I have had when buying a car.

Just wanted to praise and say thank you for an outstanding job well done! Lonnie Stevens was the standout today but the whole service dept. is great. I had a problem w/ my battery and after calling around found that it would be around $150 which given in the throes of the holidays I was not excited to spend however upon contacting Nelson Mazda and Lonnie specifically..he told me because the car is only about a year old the battery may be covered under warranty and upon further testing it was! so my total bill was $0.00! Thanks again guys I will be back.

We were looking for a SUV. Had been looking for several months. We stopped into Nelson on a whim to look at their inventory. After being VERY disappointed w what was in the general market we were not expecting much. When we arrived we were given a few minutes to look around and Tom came out. Very friendly but not pushy. Very knowledgeable about the cars in stock. We immediately saw 3 SUVs on the lot we were interested in. Tom knew what our needs were and pointed out the mazda 6. Very low mileage and only 2 years old. As much room as some of the smaller SUVs we had looked at. Gas mileage is excellent. We left and went looking some more but at the end of the day came back and test drove the mazda. We ended up leaving with the car. We are very happy with our purchase. Not only did we come across a great deal it qualified for a bumper to bumper. BONUS!!! I would and have recommended Nelson to our friends and family.

I had searched the used car inventory at this dealership online prior to going there. I was interested in purchasing one of their newer used Mazda 3's or Mazda 6's. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted with a genuine warm smile and handshake by a young salesman who introduced himself as Derenik. I explained to him what I was specifically interested in. The 2012 Mazda 3 that I was looking for was on the front lot. We spent a few minutes looking at it and talking about Mazda cars. I realized that the back seat of this Mazda 3 was smaller than I wanted. I told him about a 2010 Mazda 6 that was listed in his inventory that I would like to see. We found that vehicle in the back lot. It was the size and price I was looking for with low miles. We took it for a leisurely test drive, I liked it, and decided to take it. The price listed was already well under suggested retail for that vehicle so there was no "haggling" needed. Derenik's sales manager was also very helpful and friendly. He worked out a fair trade on my 2007 Chev SUV and the deal went together very smoothly. The entire visit and transaction from salesman, to sales manager, to finance manager was very pleasant. I have driven a 2001 Mazda Protege the past 4 years and gave that one to my daughter. I have learned to like Mazda cars and I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new or used Mazda.

My wife and I arrived at Nelson Mazda looking for a larger vehicle for our growing family. We had done a bit of research and had a couple different vehicles in mind when we arrived on the lot. Straight away Humberto greeted me and was very helpful in my car search. I was referred from another young man (Trevor) from the Broadway dealership because they didn't have the particular model I wanted. Humberto took me in to talk to Al, who was super friendly and informative and we went on a test drive. Humberto had a fantastic personality, not pushy but helpful. After my test drive Al asked how I felt about the car and I loved it. He went above and beyond to create an above fair deal for me. He was authentic and honest and I was him which made for an easy working relationship. I appreciate the attitude of everyone I came in contact with at not just the Antioch dealership but the downtown dealership as well. I would highly recommend someone purchasing a car from Nelson Mazda not just because of the reliability of the brand but the style of selling they exhibit.

"Make a Believer" and "No Haggle/No Hassle",,,,,,The only thing that I now believe is that a loyal customer means nothing. I went to this dealership having already purchased 2 other Mazdas and having referred a friend who also purchased a Mazda, so when I wanted to look at the CX-5 of course I went back to them. The game playing of what your trade is worth, the sticker price, the MRSP etc drives me insane. We went back and forth for an hour with the trade in, initial here, sign there, let me take to the manager, etc.....then when I asked about the price of the vehicle, all I was offered was the $500.00 manufacturer rebate and was told there was no negotiation on the price. So there in lies the "No Haggle" as there is no leeway on the price, then I asked the salesperson did that make any sense not to do anything for a loyal repeat customer and then was told well they gave me the special financing. Well I have excellant credit and would have qualified for the special financing so once again they did nothing for a loyal customer. Getting a Mazda in my future is apparently out of the question unless I want to travel up to Clarksville since Nelson has the monoply. So if you are looking for a Mazda, go with your eyes open and expect nothing, believe nothing and remember No Haggle...as you will pay the sticker price.

2nd experience with the Nelson company, they have always been helpful and competitive. They have truly earned our business with their non-pressure sales process and outstanding approach to customer service. I've never felt like they want to just sell me a car, I always feel like the staff at Nelson is legitimately interested in what is best for me. I called on my way into Nelson Mazda of Cool Springs and talked with Anna...I told her that I was ready to get rid of my car of ten years and wanted to do it that day. I added that I didn't want to haggle, get the run around or deal with any regular dealer antics during the process. I knew what my car was worth, and just wanted to trade. I didn't want the hassle of selling it myself. Anna explained that Nelson Mazda of Cool Springs had their Grand Opening the previous day and the model I was interested in was on the lot at Nelson Mazda of Hickory Hollow and asked if that would be convenient for me to visit. She told me she would have Al, the sales manager, meet me when I arrived. I said "great, I'm on my way".A couple of hours later, I was on my way with a loner CX-5 to drive until "my car" could be delivered from another dealer! Absolutely a wonderful experience! I could not have asked for a nicer, more patient, friendly sales consultant than Tom Chanthavong! He made the whole experience fun and stress free. Tom answered all of my MANY MANY questions in a sincere, honest, and informative manner. I had visited several other dealerships to shop the multitude of options for a small SUV and Tom, along with the his sales manager, Al, were outgoing and very personable from the first moment I met them. Tom even came in on his day off to personally deliver my car to me when it arrived at the dealership. That is service and commitment in action! On a personal note, I was especially impressed when I realized that the soothing music playing in the background of the showroom was a praise and worship station.Oh, and about the car...I LOVE IT! Drove it to Atlanta two days later and got about 30 miles to the gallon. Drives and handles like a dream and is about $20,000 less than it's competition with the same amenities!! Then, as a follow up, Anna called me to congratulate me on my new car and to see how I liked it. From the time I step a foot outside my car, I was greeted openly. I was not rushed to make a decision and I was treated very fairly. My wife and I decided it was time to trade in our smaller cross-over for an SUV that would accommodate our family and long road trips. After spending several weeks looking online at autrader.com, we came across a vehicle that we decided to pursue. Immediately upon arrival at Nelson Mazda, we met Tom Chanthavong and I can honestly tell you that he was extremely friendly and easy to work with. After looking the vehicle over and a test drive, we found a few areas that needed attention before we would finalize the deal. We left the dealership skeptical that Nelson Mazda would actually fix the problems and thought they would sell it to someone else versus fix the problems for us. Much to our surprise, over the next week, Tom and Al Henson worked to get the vehicle fixed as we asked. Tom spent the whole week calling and texting me to keep me posted on where the car was in the repair cycle. After finalizing a price on the car, we drove back up and bought it. Our experience with Nelson Mazda and their No Hassle attitude made our trip to the dealership worth it. If I know of anyone looking for a new or used vehicle, I will certainly send them to Tom and Nelson Mazda!

I went to Nelson Mazda expecting to only be able to purchase a used vehicle and left with a brand new car at the price that I was looking for. The sales persont Tom that I worked with was wonderful and took the time to talk to me about what i was ooking an was gnuinely concerned that i had a great buying experience. The Finance dept did a fantastic job of going over all of the paperwork so knew what I was signing and what all of the numbers meant. I had been online car shopping for months. I did not have a particular make or model in mind. I just wanted a nice looking, low mileage car within a price range I was comfortable with. I also did not want anything with a light interior. I somehow came across a Mazda2 listed with Nelson Mazda that fit all my wants. I called them first to be sure they still had the vehicle. I spoke with Lindsey and she was very nice. I told her I was coming by to take a look at the vehicle. She took my name and number and said she would let someone know I was coming by to see it. I know Mazda is a well built reliable car and I usually put over 200k on anything I own. I also listen to the Fish and know that Doug is a big fan of Mazda and Nelson Mazda. When I got to the dealership I was greeted by Lindsey and David Rashaad. My overall experience was great. Everyone was very nice and I don't mean nice like we have to be nice because it's our job. I mean they were genuinely nice people. I could not have asked for a nicer salesman than David. My husband and I both enjoyed working and talking with him during the sale. I would highly recommend Nelson Mazda and David Rashaad to anyone. ZOOMZOOM!

On 05/03/13, I went into Nelson Mazda to look at a $5000 car. I was quite skeptic as 1) I am female (so I brought along my brother), 2) previous interaction with others in sales came across pushy, 3) my credit history. Well, all I can say is that Nelson Mazda was the COMPLETE opposite! I called first and spoke with Al (thank you by the way) who said to come on it regardless of what I thought may hinder me...so I did. I had every intention of getting no more than a 2000 Honda Accord for $5000 seen on their website, and no one was going to talk me out of that (so I thought). I had previously prepared myself for what I thought (with no history of financing and cars) I could get. Well, after my extremely astonishing service I walked out of there with a 2010 Toyota!!! Nelson Mazda employees are one of a kind (Tom/Manuel/Chris??)!!! Thank you for taking a chance because now they are stuck with me FOR LIFE!!! Their service is so amazing, my brother who is also in sales (like seriously can sell YOU your own bath water) traded his car and purchased a BMW. Words cannot explain the experience so I will just recommend that you go; try them and see what they can do vs guess. After all, they are the experts!!!

I am hugh on a companies ability to give exalent costomer servise. When it came to buying my second mazda I went back to Nelson Mazda hickory hollow because they gave what I think is Great costomer service not to mention a really fair deal on my trade and a fair deal on my new car. David my sales man had helped me buy a mazda 5 in the past, and worked hard to help me buy the replacement for the 5, the new cx5. I have all in all purchased 5 vehicles - all new - from different dealerships throughout Tennessee, and this experience at Nelson Mazda at Hickory Hollow was by far way above and beyond what I have experienced at any other dealership. My car buying experience began while looking online at Nelson Mazda's web page. I submitted a credit application online and also requested an e-quote for the vehicle that I wanted...the next morning I received a call from David Rashaad needing a little bit more information and asking if I would like to come in and get my trade-in valued and get into a new car. At first, I dreaded this experience because of the past experiences that I had had at other dealerships. I am currently sick with the flu and knew that I did not want to spend a lot of time at a dealership haggling with pricing, getting my car evaluated, etc...I needed to be at home getting better. I reluctantly got ready and went into the dealership. I was immediately greeted at the door and told them that I had been talking with David. David came out to the showroom and greeted me and my partner with a warm smile and friendly handshake. I told him that I really didn't want to spend a lot of time there because I wasn't feeling well and he told me that he would get me in and out of there as soon as he could. My trade-in was evaluated and not only did they pay off the loan that I had on it...they gave me more to use as a down payment - which is something that I did not expect. I test-drove a car and decided on it...and that's when the "behind-the-scenes" experience happened. The first deal that they brought to me was out of my price range and I would not have been able to make those payments. The second deal was a lot better! The whole experience took about 3 hours, and was painless. David and the finance manager worked with me on getting me into a car that I both liked and could afford. I have some credit problems and was amazed that they were able to get me the deal that they were able to get me! After I accepted the deal that they gave me it only took about 20 minutes to get all of the paperwork signed and get everything done. This was definitely a GREAT EXPERIENCE, and I am extremely thankful that the employees that I dealt with were compassionate about my situation and did not pressure me into buying...I felt that my partner and I were the ones that made the decision to buy - not them. I highly recommend this dealership for their professionalism...and I will definitely return to them to get another vehicle! Thank you so much David for making this car-buying experience a pleasant one - very professional!!!

I just bought a 2012 Mazda 3 at Nelson Mazda, and I am pleased to recommend this dealership. I received excellent treatment in terms of customer service, and their price was outstanding. I am the kind of guy that does a lot of research before I purchase a new car, and Nelson Mazda's price exceeded my expectations. They were very fair on the price they gave me for my trade-in (a 2007 Mazda 3), and they worked hard to get me the best deal possible on financing. Rusty and Al worked very hard to get me the price I wanted on the mustang I was buying. They kept working on the deal until they got me the price I wanted. They made the whole process enjoyable. When I first walked into the dealership, I was worried I would get the typical sales pitch and droning back and forth that we all dread when we are ready to buy anything that requires a salesman. Fortunately, my experience couldn't be further from that. I worked with Jim and Al, and both of these gentlemen were straight and honest. They worked with me to get me a better rate than the pre-approved rate I walked in with. With the money I saved, and the experience I had, I could not recommend this place more. Ask for Al or Jim when you go in. You will be well taken care of, as neither of them are your traditional sales people. Had the chance to get to know Al a little better than most, and I can tell you that he is legitimately a great guy. If Mazda is the brand for you, this is the dealership to go to.

Overally a great first experience buying a car. Sonny was great! Friendly and more than willing to make sure i had a great experience. The car i wanted wasnt available at any of the local dealerships, so they said they would have to send someone out to get it. Friday, i went to the dealership to sign papers and finalize everything so i could hopefully receive the car monday or tuesday the following week. turns out, as soon as they found out i would be coming in, they sent someone to pick it up and it was there before signing all the papers. i drove it home that day! Rob, in the financing department was also great! even their free coffee is fantastic haha.

I was greated at the door by a friendly gentleman. Very laid back atmosphere. My sales associate was David Rashad. He was very nice. I know it's a sales job and that's how they make their money but I did not ever feel pressured to by a car by him at all. He was very understanding when I told him I expected and wanted more for my trade. Unfortunately we could not do business that day. He worked hard and was able to get me what I wanted for my trade. Now my wife is driving around in her Nissan pathfinder. Make sure you ask for David Rashad.

This review is a tad late; I was too busy enjoying my new 2012 Mazda 3! Negotiations were done through email, as I live in Chattanooga, but Jim was very patient and very helpful with providing me with information that I needed. At the dealership, even though it was pretty busy/hectic(they were apologetic about not being able to spend more time with us), Al and Jim took care of everything and made sure that we were informed at every step of the way.

My daughter Jackie Dickson, brought her car in for repair,she told them to fix what every was wrong because she had been to several auto repair shop and they could not fix it. When she went to get her car {10/05/11} from Nelson Mazda. paid them $1264.00, her car would not start. The service men could not get the car to start. They then told her that the fuel pump had gone out,or went to sleep!!!! They also told her it would cost another $700.00 to fix. This was after they had worked on the fuel infection, changed spark plugs ets, . The services workers made remark about how long she had left her car and that she only payed $1300 to get it fixed. Oh! by the way it wasn't fixed. She had to pay a wrecker $70.00 to tow her car to her home. Something is wrong with people that rip you off.. She still does not have a car that runs. She has had problems with this car from day one. Would I buy a car from any Mazda dealer? No I would not. I will tell everyone I know how they treated my daughter. I have purchased many vehicles over the years and have had numerous experiences, one worse than the other! This is my first time purchasing a Mazda and unfortuantely was my last ditch effort since visiting other dealerships. What an amazing experience, not to mention a fantastic car. I have never had such a pleasant experience with a car dealership. DAVID RASHAAD was my car salesman. There are no words to discribe David other than he completes Nelson Mazda! Thanks You David!!

I really liked the fact that they were patient with me and how much they tried to help me get the best deal possible for my situation. If I ever need another car I'll probably head back to Nelson Mazda in Hickory Hollow, because they don't try to pressure you into buying something you can't afford and just tell you to sign all these papers and briefly explaining what it all means, they took their time and answered all my questions and explained everything that needed to be explained. So thanks again David you were such a big big help. Very Very Great Experience!

I have to say that this is the most friendly helpful dealership I have ever been to. They are compassionate and knowledgable and the most important thing is they dont play games with their customers. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had!!! I left a voice message at the dealership on a Friday night. Al Henson called me back and the rest is history. I drove from Huntsville, AL the next day to look at a 2007 Mazda CX-9 that was priced "just right" online. After going for a test drive, I quickly decided to purchase the vehicle. I knew it wouldn't have stayed on the lot for long!!! Al answered all of my numerous questions without any problems and made the deal HASSLE FREE. I definitely plan to do business with Nelson Mazda in the future and I'm going to send all of my friends to AL HENSON!!!Jerry C.

Everyone was very friendly. We came to look at a used vehicle, but it was sold minutes before our visit. Josh did a great job finding a similar model that happened to be new. The staff was very aware of the reason for our visit and worked well with us to get us home I'n the new vehicle.

This Service center is a joke, Brought my wifes rx8 for repair and I left with nothing but a headache and good story to share with my friends and family. Instead of invesgating or researching my complaint, all I got was an earfull of cant dos' and the privilage of watching what an unorginized service center looks like. As a former service advisor for General Motors and Ford/Lincoln/Mercury This center has a recipe for disaster. No rapport, no follow-ups, no service! To conclude this review, thier 20+ year veteran quoted me $1400+ to replace 4 plastic lines at 11 hours labor! Drove stright to The other Mazda Dealership and had the service recall check done no charge, had the oil lines fixed for $120!!! Good Bye Nelson. Hello Cool Springs

Just an overall good experience! No pushy salesmen. Mr. Dotson took the time to really listen to what I wanted out of my new vehicle. I actually had fun buying my new car. The whole process was pain free. I had fun taking all the cars out for test drives. Thumbs up!

When we first got to Nelson Mazda we were greeted almost immediately by Tony Suggs. He is a very nice man. He was very helpful and kept in touch with us about finding our perfect car. When we went back to see about others we were introduced to Nate Phillips. Nate is awesome! We spent hours with him discussing options and there was never a dull moment. He was very honest and answered all of our questions so that we'd understand. When it came time to sign the paperwork Rob Trotter handled everything nicely. He explained all costs to us and made sure we understood everything we were signing. Even after we bought the car they have stayed in touch with us and have helped us with everything we've needed. We love Nelson Mazda Hickory Hollow and would recommend them to anyone. In the future we hope to buy all of our cars there. Our experience was amazing. We not only got a great deal on a car but struck up great friendships as well.

By far the best overall car buying experience I've ever had! David Rashaad greeted us as soon as we pulled up and spent the WHOLE day securing financing for me, yet he always kept me informed as to what was going to happen. My father was looking for a 2010 Mazda CX9 and we found the one we purchased online. We drove from Evansville, IN to Antioch, TN on Saturday, 2/19/11 to purchase this vehicle. Robb Medonis had the vehicle cleaned up and ready for us to drive home, which we did. We would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone! Everyone at the dealership were so friendly and helpful! I have purchased a lot of cars over the years and this was by far most pleasurable purchase I have ever made. Our salesman, David Rashaad was outstanding. He was always there to answer any questions that we had and even came in on his day off so I could show the car to my husband. We purchased this car for our daughter who lives out of town and David even sent her a nice note to tell her how much he enjoyed working with us and to give him a call if she ever needed anything. David is very knowledgeable on the mechanics of the car. I was also very impressed with Randy Dismang the General Sales Manager. He was there every time we visited and at no time pressured us to purchase anything more than what we needed. I would definitely recommend this dealer for your next purchase.

I had been looking for a car for over a month. As a single woman, car shopping (salesmen) was a complete nightmare. As soon as I walked into Nelson Mazda of Hickory Hollow, Josh pleasantly greeted me, asked what I was looking for and proceeded to show me the options that he had available. Josh was the FIRST salesman I had dealt with (and there were several) that didn't try to sell me something that didn't meet my requests. I would recommend Josh Armstrong and Nelson Mazda of Hickory Hollow to anyone that is looking for a vehicle, new or used. Actually, I have already suggested Josh to a friend that is looking to purchase a vehicle.

This is my second time to buy from Nelson Mazda. While trying to decide where to purchase my next vehicle, I considered the Honda dealership and the Toyota dealership. However, after a visit to the Honda dealership and being treated with disreprespect, I hurried back to the Mazda dealership and was assisted by Joshua Armstrong. I can honestly say that I have never had a more joyful experience buying a car than I did with Johsua. He was kind, considerate, patient and knowledgeable. After waffling on my decision to by a Mazda 3 4 door, I asked him about any another models that I might be qualified to buy. He checked the different models and came back with the perfect answer. The Mazda 3 5 door had everything I wanted and more for almost the same payment. I was thrilled so, not long before closing time, we went for a ride in a sporty RED Mazda3 5door!! About 15 minutes after returning, true to his word, I signed the paperwork and drove it home. The Mazda3 5 door is a truly amazing car! I've had so much fun driving it! Zoom Zoom! If I could give them 6 stars, I would.. Wife and I recently bought a 2011 Mazda CX-7 from Nelson Mazda and had a great experience. We started at Alexander Mazda in Cool Springs and received HORRIBLE service and a pathetic offer on our Mazda trade-in. Nate, Rob and everyone else at Nelson Mazda took care of us. We got the car we wanted, great financing (with an add-on warranty) AND a free lunch (they cater in on Saturdays)!Nate was beyond helpful, taking us for a couple great test-drives and then working with us to get a very fair deal on our trade and car purchase. Next time we need a new Mazda, we will be back.

I have had a Miata for the past twelve years , with very little probems. I have always been impressioned with Lonnie in the Service Dept when I had to come if for work. He always remembers me, and some times its awhile in between visits. I was very happpy to hear that he was still with the dealership. Thats impressive.I came in the week after Christmas as I saw a hardtop Miata on the web site. I really felt that my current car would last me several more years but I wanted to check out the hard top. My sales Rep was Rob Medonia and he was great! I was expecting some pushy sales guy and he was not. I felt like I was talking to a friend. He went out of his way to help me get a good price on a new car. He also should me how to work blue tooth and other items on the car. ( I spoke with a friend who had just bought an Accura and she said they didnt help her with any of that)I have already bragged about him to several people in my office. He also told me he has been there for 8 years + and that says alot about your dealership. He also said he would send me info on coupons as far as oil changes etc. So, I will start coming to the dealership for these services now.I was thinking about getting a bug or BMW, but Im now a Mazda girl for life! This car buying experience was the best I have ever had. I called Chad and told him what we were looking for and the next day he had a vehicle that fit our needs. Everyone was extremely professional and very helpful and we got a GREAT deal. We will defintely be using Nelson Mazda for both our service and future car purchasing needs. Today my husband and I purchased a 2010 CX7 Mazda. I was so impressed with the staff and the way we were treated. I had earlier compared purchasing a vehicle with going to a dentist. I must say the experience today was great. Everyone was friendly, helpful. They made me feel that what I had to say was important. I have traded with Nelson Mazda before. They have always treated my fairly & honestly. i highly recommend them and Benny Dotson. After the deal was made they finalzed extras very quickly and promply set up appointment and continue to show me that I had made a great choice of dealer.

Al was incredibly helpful the day i came in and told him what i was looking for. He gave me some great choices and when i told him what i wanted he did what he could to make it happen for me. Also the finance man Randy i think, did everything in his power to get me approved for my 2008 Mazdaspeed 3. I love the car! Loved the service! And am going to recommend to anyone i run into. I was thoroughly pleased with our experience of buying a new car at Nelson Mazda. A business is only as good as the associates that work in it and Al Henson, with whom we purchased the vehicle, is a a great face for the Nelson Mazda business. He is honest and straightforward to deal with and efficient in getting things done. No question or detail was too small for Al, and I would recommend him to others.

Excellent dealership! I have purchased 4 vehicles since 2002 from Nelson Mazda at Hickory Hollow consisting of two new auto's and two used autos. I have always been treated extremely well. Each experience has been great, but this last purchase made me realize how they went over and above on making a sale. Very courteous, great price, and very friendly. The finance department was very informative and advised what was available to benefit the customer, but wanting to do what was right for the customer. I would definately purchase from them again.

I had an excellent experience at Nelson Mazda, the salesman, Al Henson, was very attentive and he made sure i was comfortable while waiting and also that i knew what was going on and not just sitting there waiting. I also had a very enjoyable lunch there which made things better. Al Henson explained the questions that i asked him thoroughly and i felt like i was getting the best deal and that i wasn't rushed. I didn't feel as if there were so many customers and he was just trying to hurry up to get to the next one which is always good. Great dealership, this is the second Mazda I bought there and I will definitely come back.. I was also servicing my previous Mazda at this dealership and was always very satisfied. I was a Toyota driver for a long time but Nelson Mazda helped me in getting Mazdas to know and they are a great driving experience.

I considered Nelson Mazda because of their advertisement on a Christian radio station believing they would be trustworthy and found my decision to be a good one. When I went in and gave my price range they offered cars in and below the range which other dealerships pushed my limit or went over. My salesman, Al, was patient, courteous, and knowledgeable. He knew exactly what was in inventory (even cars that were brand new to the lot in the back parking area). I had my 15 year old daughter with me and he acknowledged her, treated her with respect and answered her questions as well as mine. My husband was unable to come to the dealership and they let me take the car to him for consensus. An action that was more helpful than they could ever have imagined. Working with the finance department was a pleasure. They found the bank and lined everything up quickly and in a responsible way. Rich, my finance agent, was courteous and explained things in an easy manner. The upsales of extended warranty and scotch guard for the interior were presented well and not pushed. I scheduled additional care for my used vehicle and they gladly took me over & picked me up from the mall for the 3 hour service time. My experience with Nelson Mazda was exceptional and I would highly recommend the dealership. My interaction with the staff was pleasant and respectful. The cars offered were of good quality and the interaction with the service department proved to be exactly as they said it would be. I will definitely go there for the next vehicle I need.

Nelson Mazda is a great dealership to work with on buying a vehicle. The staff are personable and friendly, and make you feel like they want your business. They're the kind of guys you could hang out with after work. They don't pressure you, and make suggestions based on what you tell them you are looking for.

My family have bought 3 vehicles from Nelson Mazda. The salesman asked a lot of questions to find out what my needs were. He actually suggested a different vehicle than what I was looking for because he thought it would fit my needs better. He was right. Since then I have bought two more vehicles from them. They were great in helping my daughter pick out her first car. They were very patient and let her test drive several cars till she found the one she wanted. Great customer service each time we have been there. I have always left feeling like I got a good deal. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used car.

I have serviced my car for years at Nelson and would never dream of taking my Mazda anywhere else. We bought our last 4 cars there as well. It's nice taking my car to people who actually care. Coming from a woman's point of view, that actually means something.

I went to Nelson Mazda because they had the car I wanted ready to test drive. There was an incentive posted online for a 2.9% interest rate for this vehicle. After getting them to give me a discount on the vehicle and beginning the paperwork signing, I found out that they had upped the interest to 7.49%! This stopped me in my tracks as I had opted for a new car instead of a used car due to the interest rate incentive. The financer (I can't remember his name) wrote up two different financing contracts at the price we had agreed on, one with the 2.9%, one with the 7.49%. After signing that (and with the understanding that they were just checking to see if I qualified with the company that was offering the 2.9%) I was told that they would not sell me the car at the price we had agreed on and at the interest rate advertised online. Despite having signed paperwork on this agreement, they sent me home telling me they would get back to me on Monday. The car I was looking at is in high demand, and the dealership seems to have the attitude of "we don't care if you're happy because if you don't buy it we'll just sell it to someone else." I have had friends that really loved their Mazda's and I was looking forward to this car, but due to my experience with this dealership, I would be hard pressed to ever buy a Mazda again. If this deal does go through, I will certainly never buy another Mazda from this dealership. Apparently when Benny told me "We can give you this price. You may not qualify for this interest rate." I was supposed to take that as "Because we gave you this price, you will not be eligible for this interest rate." The interest rate being raised makes my payment HIGHER than it would have been without the discount, and they end up with an extra $1200 in their pockets.

I dropped my van for servicing after confirming that the part was "in stock" with Woody. Get a call from Chris that the part is not in stock and needs to be ordered. ( Already I've been inconvenienced at having to leave my car over night, have someone follow me to drop it, and then having to borrow a car the next day. Lastly had to go home (Murfreesboro) to pick up someone and drive back to Nashville to get my van.) I asked Chris to see if he could get the part locally from another dealer (should I have had to do that?) and so he did and was able to get the part. The 2nd thing I requested was that they check out why my key is sometimes sticking when I turn the ignition off. I got a call from Chris that it would be $79.00 to fix ($45.00 to diagnos). Reluctantly I told him to go ahead. Chris called later to tell me my van was ready and I made arrangements to pick it up and pay for it after 6pm. I asked him for the total, he quoted me a price of $1548.__ When I got there to pick my van up, the total was $1691.39. Chris hadn't included the tax. (big difference. I paid my bill and drove off. Stopped to get my supper and couldn't get the key out of the ignition. Had to wiggle the gear (like I had to do before I brought my van to Mazda)to get the key out. Went back to Mazda, stopped my van and again, couldn't get the key out. So I left it, to show Jim, showroom manager. I expressed my dissatisfaction and inconvenience and requested my credit card be credited the $79.95 charge for the key issue. Jim was not authorized or empowered to provide such a Customer Satisfaction request (surprised me!)and told me to call Tom, Service Manager. Now, I've just gotten off the phone with Tom and am even more upset. He is in the wrong position (service?). His response is "if I gave everyone back their money, site unseen, we'd be out of business. He's not willing to refund my money but wants me to bring my van back (even while I've explained the inconvenience,and now wants me to make sure it's on a day that he's got time in his schedule. Are you kidding me? What happens if I bring it back and again, it's not fixed. I'm done. I'm dissatisfied. I will never bring my van back to Nelson Mazda for Servicing and while my experience in purchasing my van from them was good, I'm not likely to buy another vehicle from them as I service my vehicle regularly and won't deal with this type service again.
