The sales rep we had, Trey Freeman at the Suffolk location was very helpful and patient with us. He found us the car we was looking for and even though it took hours with the paperwork waiting on my bank, he was there the whole time making sure everything went smooth.

I got my first car here at mike duman and my experience there was the best. The customer service was great. Mervis Knight helped me get into a good car. Mr. Knight stayed in my price range he did not try to sell me a car i couldn't afford he made sure my first car was the best fit for me. I just got my 4th car from Mike Duman Auto Sales. As usual, the dealership made the process of buying a car a breeze. Needed some routine maintenance performed and some work done which was covered by an extended service contract that we purchased when we bought the car from Mike Duman's. All went well, David the service writer kept me updated on the progress of the repairs and when the parts were held up due to the parts truck not being able to make it due to the bad weather (snow) he also alerted me of this and offered an option for me to use a vehicle for a day, which helped out greatly and called the next day stating the car was ready to be picked up.So to sum it up I received excellent customer service from David, and the repair team. thanks. Communication was the key for me. When I picked up the car, I went inside and talked with Mark and made him aware of how I was treated by David, and how his actions made me have a great experience with the Mike Duman Service Team in Franklin.Thanks Again!

I was in the market for a new vehicle preferably a SUV that fit my needs because my truck was no longer able to fit my children, sports bags, and groceries etc. I did my research on SUVs and which one would fit most appropriately i narrowed my search to Toyota 4 runner or Honda Pilot. Mike Duman dealership had a Honda Pilot that hit all the correct amenities i was in search of and a few extras. As soon as walking into the dealership i was welcomed by Mervis and even though I initially went into the dealership to be helped by Justin, Mervis was the salesman who helped me through the whole car buy experience. I didnt feel pressured into buying the vehicle and an questions of concerns i had were addressed. He made sure i was getting the most for my trade, explained the process and was very thorough. I had my head liner replaced which was under warrantity. It took a considerably long time frame for the dealership to get the replacement head liner in. Once it was in, the actual replacement was done in a timely manner and looks great!

Went into this dealership with only a vague idea of what I was looking for. I wanted a used, but economical SUV with turbo charged engine, Navigation, and low mileage. I had my search narrowed down to a Buick Encore, Subaru Forester, Ford Escape, Honda CRV or Toyota RAV4. I had done days and days of research and had test driven all of these cars at different dealerships. I had done so much research that all of the statistics had run together and my head was spinning. When I walked into the dealership, I met my salesman Bobby Kinsey. I briefly explained my research and what I was looking for in a vehicle. He said to me, that's what I'm here for. The next day, he found me a Ford Escape with all of my requirements plus a number of options I didn't even know I wanted like heated leather seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, automatic lift gate and so many others. I fell in love instantly. To make a longer story short, I made my offer, part of which was I wanted an additional key fob with remote start. Since this was a used vehicle, it only came with one key fob. My salesman arranged for me to receive a second remote entry key fob within a couple of days of bringing my car home. The locksmith came to my house and made it for me at my home. I could not have asked for a better, smoother car buying experience. I highly recommend both this dealership and this salesman (Bobby Kinsey). My husband plans on going back to this dealership and to this salesman to buy his next vehicle very soon.

I would first like to say how great this dealership is. When I first went on my search to buy a new "used" car I dreaded the thought of going to a dealership because I knew how pushy some salesmen can be. The environment of Mike Duman is overall pleasant, but I got to speak about my experience with one of the greatest assets in the company, Mervis Knight. When I first met Mr. Knight over 7 years ago, he presented himself as very professional, high quality ethics, and exquisite morals and values. With all of those qualities, this wasn't just for a workday. I discovered that this is what his persona is. He was very patient, kind, respectful and made me feel that I was at a good place to search for the best vehicle for me. And I was able to get a car. Now less than 2 days ago, I've contacted him again because I am looking for another vehicle. What touched my heart was after 7 years later, he still remembered my name, my voice even after not being in touch. Mr. Knight took his level of dedication to help people to another level when I told him my work schedule and he met me at the facility on a closed business day (Sunday). He was very happy to accommodate my needs of car searching. He toured the area just as if he was at work to help me find not only just a car but a dependable car. Mr Knight went beyond even further when he recognized the garage was not secured tightly. This says alot about a person who not only wants to help meet the needs of customers, but demonstrates concerns about the merchandises and other adjoining departments that makes up the business. He could have just ignored the garage door but instead, he went home and got his keys. Whether Mr. Knight is in his work attire or wearing gym clothes, his demeanor doesn't change. He still treat me with the upmost respect. For that I am grateful and its very rewarding to have someone who has no limits into demonstrating customer service. He is well like because he is not judgmental but shows understanding and wisdom through spiritual and natural perspectives. I cannot express it enough that the glow behind the shiny diamond of the business is him. I feel and always felt more than confident that he provides sufficient advices to help improve customers. Another bonus is that he does not just put a person in a car, he educate his customers about the vehicle. That requires time and patients depending on a person's comprehension skills. Deeply when Mr. Knight says he's going to work on getting a person in a vehicle, trust him he is. He looks at each customer's situation, challenges, and barriers individually, but he does not back down. In other words, he is going to go higher heights and deeper depths to accomplish the goals. Just for that, its rare to find all these qualities in a person. With his man of his caliber, no customer can go wrong when you are in Mr. Knight's hands. I am very appreciative of that. And at the end of the day, me as a customer makes me feel that I have made the right choices in my vehicle and with the person who have helped me make it possible. I went to Mike Dumans for a gently used vehicle. Trey Freeman was my salesman and he did a fantastic job with my needs and indecisive decision making. I test drove other vehicles before driving my 2008 Mustang. I was very impressed with the car and price. Mike himself worked very hard to get me in the car I wanted. Bottom Line up front: I would deal with Mike Duman for another vehicle. Car purchased: used 2012, low mileage, to be used as a daily commuter. Salesperson: Mervis Knight Car shopping isn't necessarily fun, but my experience with Mike Duman made the process as good as it can be. At no time did I feel any pressure. When Mr. Knight and I sat down to go over the numbers, and then with Aaron Duman, I told them that I needed to run the numbers by my wife and look closely at our budget. They understood and did not pressure me to make the deal at that moment. Any negatives I have are relatively minor: - no full tank of gas - no second key: now, they are paying for a second key, but the process rests on me to contact the key man and have him come to me, which is proving to be a bit more of a headache than I thought. Overall, a good experience.

Appointment was made, car was delivered 15 minutes before time, was left and requested they call me when it was ready.The reps when I brought the car in were polite and helpful. I left in less then 15 minutes. Later the afternoon I was called and informed my car was ready so I picked it up when I had time to do it. The people I discussed with were very helpful and friendly. My wife and I went out to Mike Duman car lot looking for a car, we had only been there about 20 minutes when we saw Mr. Mervis Knight who assisted us eagerly. We did not care too much for the first car which we test drove, however, Mervis listened to my request and pulled up so more cars similar to the first car we drove,the car was located at the Franklin lot but Mervis gladly went and picked up the car for us to see and test drive that same day. Today was honestly the best experience I have ever had with a car salesman. Mr. Angelo Scott was very, very, patient with me, very knowledgeable, and he was not pushy. The service manager was outstanding and very pleasant to deal with. But after the response I received from General Motors concerning my engine warranty, I will never EVER buy another Chevrolet product. And I WILL NOT advise my friends to purchase one. We drove almost a hour to purchase a new(to me) car. Trey was great, he answered any questions I had and explained everything throughout the buying process and made it easy.... However, I guess I made the mistake of buying a car that had not been cleaned and inspected yet. The car was new at the lot and hadn't been serviced yet. The vehicle was to be cleaned before delivery (trey even drove quite a ways to bring me the car). When I first got in after it was delivered I didn't think it looked professionally cleaned, just the floor mats were vacuumed. I figured I just had high expectations. No, not the case. Later when I climbed in the back to lower the third row I found trash. I hope they didn't cut any corners when servicing and inspecting the vehicle....

Back In Jan i got a kia rio from them i enjoy, all the hard work that my dealer when threw to get me my amazing 2014 kia rio. i enjoy my low monthly payments and really recommend this dealership to anyone who needs a new car. Requested appointment to have my 2011 car inspected.Time was given at 2:00 pm. I arrived 10 minutes earlier.My car was inspected and had windshield wipers replaced because they were "worn out" pretty good.They car was inspected in a very "quick" time while I sat in the waiting room.I was more than very satisfied with the service team as well as the short time the job was done; and it began on time based on the appointment.Would use the service department in the future as needed.

I bought my car on October 24th, and I just love this place. My process was quick and simple, the easiest ever. I thought I was going to have problems because of my credit score, but they were able to still find someone to finance me. I went online filled out the application, I was contacted a few minutes later by Justin in finance. Justin was very friendly and nice. I was delighted to have met him. When I got to the dealership it was an hour til close, Bobby Kinsey (Salesman) and Justin (finance) was great with helping me find the cars I wanted see. I was not pushed to look at anything past my set budget and these guys were great about everything. Aaron (finance manager), former veteran as am I), was also great. He worked his magic for me to get me as close as possible to my spending limit, which I really appreciated. I recommend everyone to shop here for their car. When I am ready to upgrade on my Escalade I will be going back Bobby Kinsey. I have to absolutely say that Bobby Kinsey (salesman) went above and beyond to help me and he is very informative and knows his job well. Angelo Scott is a superb professional salesman at his finest. My experience with Mike Duman started in 2004 with my first vehicle purchase from a dealer and will forever be my go to dealer. Mike Duman and his staff are not your typical dealers who smell you pulling into the parking lot and follow you around. The staff is fabulous when it comes to letting you browse the isles. We met Angelo 2 years ago when I was in the market for a new car. Needless to say with the excellent deals and customer loyalty we drove off the lot that day with two Chrysler 3oos. Due to promotions at work and wanting to upgrade we came back to visit Angelo. After test driving what I thought was my new dream car and realizing it was not what I was looking for, Angelo put his knowledge of cars and my wants to work and suggested the Lexus RX 350. When he pulled the car up front with the A/C blowing he told me to take my time and to be back before closing time. Needless to say we got back about an hour before closing to make the deal. There are not too many dealers who will put in the long hours and stay after closing to seal the deal on a Saturday afternoon ensuring everything was taken care of before I had to fly out of town on Monday morning. If you pass up a purchase from Angelo and Mike Duman you will be kicking yourself in the rear in the near future. Once again, Angelo Scott, thank you for your suggestion and professional service.!

The Sales people were very welcoming, patient, and helpful. Mervis Knight found exactly what I was looking for. I went there searching for one vehicle and asked him about something along the same lines. I took the vehicle I went to purchase for a test drive and when I returned, Mervis found the vehicle I was meant to have; as a result, I didn't purchase the intended vehicle but the one I was meant to buy :-). He was a heaven sent, thanks Mervis, keep up the good work!

We have had many positive buying experiences from Mike Duman! Bobby Kinsey has sold us multiple cars in the and each experience seems to get a little easier. No pressure sales. I have both from other dealerships and the process is like pulling teeth. Bobby makes the process so easy and effortless on the part of the buyer. Bobby is a very personable sales man and we have referred many clients to the deal ship. When we arrived Bobby had all of the details in order, along with all of the paperwork and we were in and out within 1 hour. That is what I call top notch service. As we signed the paper work Bobby changes out the plates and made sure vehicle was in tip top shape. I would highly recommend Bobby Kinsey and Mike Duman for your next New or Used vehicle!!

We purchased a vehicle with Mike Duman several years ago and it was an easy, positive experience. Within the last year we purchased three vehicles at three different dealers and each experience was a stressful nightmare even though the cars were what we were looking for. We had an urgent need for a new truck on a Thursday, and were forced to trade one in with negative equity. Duman's had the perfect truck and they smoothly and quicky worked out the trade-in and the financing. By Friday afternoon we had the truck in our driveway with the sale complete. Our salesman each time was Jason Schramm and we will return to him for all future car needs, even if he has to find what we want from other dealers. The manager, Justin, was exceptional in guiding through the initial difficulties with our old truck, as well.

I was looking at a used auto. Told the manager I was willing to spend blue book value and would pay with immediate funds. And did not want to bocker back and forth with manager....well I did for three days, dealership only came down 600.00 on a car they told me they couldnt afford to take the loss and the car dealer kept telling me, "i need to make my commision, come on help me out" i waked away and tried to cal back the next day and dealer told me he would take 100.00 off...really?!!! Very disappointed and they do not offer any military discount....

This place received my new tags at there dealership, and supposably sent out a post card to let me know that they were in. Which I had never received. I live 45 minutes from the dealership and had already been there multiple times for issues, 2 times for something that should have been fixed the first time I was there. I won't get into that right now. But back to the final issue that I had with this place. My tags were getting ready to expire in three days so I called the dealership to find out where the license plates were at. (I have purchased 4 different vehicles in the past from dealerships and the plates were always just mailed to me.) So when I call they just said, "Oh we have them sitting here". Now I don't know how long they were just sitting there but I would imagine that coming down to the last week knowing a customers temporary tags are going to expire you would try to call that customer and let them know that you have there plates. We'll I didn't receive such courtesy. So when I was on the phone I requested that they send them overnight since it was coming down to my plates expiring and they clearly didn't care about making sure I got the plates before that. So Frank Jones (management) agreed that they would send them to me next day. well its been three days and still no tags. My tags expire at midnight tonight, I guess I won't be driving my truck tomorrow, thanks a lot Mike Duman. I would be very careful making any deals with this place, you would be better going to one of the other 1000 dealerships in the Hampton roads area. They obviously will tell you one thing and do another. This was just the final issue that I had with my experience and I wanted everyone know how they will treat there costumers post purchase.
