did not hear back from the dealership when i made an offer for the black amg mercedes the prices that this dealership has is not better than they are in georgia so you have to make it worth while to travel out of my zone. the last offer was the price would be ok as drive out price, before we can haggle a price you want to run a credit application i need to know the price because if its not right for me , then there is no reason for an inquiry on my credit report.

This is an easy place to buy a car but after that it is downhill. To get to talk to service could take 45 minuets of a recording saying you have a two minute wait. This is not the place for service there must be something wrong when you pull up and see 100 cars coming for service. Stay away or suffer the horrid time waste of their service and your time.

All went well except a few days later the red engine light came on and said to bring car in. I did so and too much oil had been added when the oil was changed. It was immediately taken care of. Judy was particularly attentive to me and my issue.

Had a "check engine" light appear on dashboard. Made appointment to have it checked out. Had to replace a sensor, and did that as I waited. Car seems fine and the dealer performed a multi point inspection to assure that everything is functioning as intended. The service coordinator was informative and courteous.

He is extremely knowledgable about the product and very good with the demonstration of the features prior to the test drive. You could tell that he really believes in the product that he is selling. Another big plus for Mr. Rybak was that he fully understood that this was a car being purchased by my wife and fully engaged her versus deferring to me. We purchased a gl550 a week or so ago and the car buying experience was the most enjoyable one I ever had. This was largely due to the outstanding service by our sales rep -- Brian Tinsley. We were introduced to Brian on the Internet when I was performing initial queries about the vehicle. From the very start Brian listened attentively to what I wanted instead of just trying to sell "what he had" He was very knowledgeable about his product line (something I find rare in purchasing cars) and he was very responsive to questions about the vehicle. He also has a very warm and personable professional style about him. Once we decided on the car we wanted he participated in the negotiation process to arrive at a number, for which we both were satisfied. After the deal was done, he followed up to insure the installation of some dealer options that needed to be added and even threw in some matts. waiting room has 12 or 14 comfortable arm chairs. ONLY 2 small side tables for coffee or purse or paper placed at END of row so only two chairs could be serviced by tables and those were always occupied..Coffee was good and hot and I had no place to put down and did not want to leave on floor and tip or make a mess. Ended up going for a walk to drink coffee and had to carry my paper with me.Suggest many more same size tables between chairs so all have access to space for articles etc. Not a major expense and cannot believe not corrected as yet as the facility not new. Only 7 there waiting but 5 were wandering or drank coffee and then sat down to read or watch TV.. Service was fine and I was on a strict time frame and all went well....

When I picked up my car from the Service Department late last Saturday afternoon, there was a problem with their key security system that resulted in an unusually long delay in retrieving my car. I was unhappy with their response and so informed the Service Director. Monday morning, I received an unsolicited call from the General Manager. He not only explained the problem they had experienced and apologized for the inconvenience, but went out of his way to make it right. It's good to know that management at the highest level takes customer satisfaction and care so seriously. I am completely satisfied with the response, and will continue to patronize and recommend Mercedes Benz of Sarasota.

I wanted to get a recent S model to replace one of my 420 which ran well but was 18 years old. I got my eye on a "12 CLS550 on line. When I went to Sarasota Mercedes I was blown away by the courteous and efficient reception I had. The car was prepped perfectly and looked like it just came out of the assembly line.I have been visiting Mercedes dealerships for 50 years but this one takes the cake!They did everything to please me and some. I drove every Mercedes I owned for at least ten years but this one I'll keep (hopefully) forever as long as I service it at Sarasota Mercedes.

This was my first experience taking my GLK in for a one year maintenance service. From the minute I drove up to the service area, there was someone there to greet and direct me to the service person that I was scheduled with. I was offered a loaner when I first called to make the appointment, but I asked instead if they would drive me to a local mall. They were promptly ready to drive me after showing me where all the refreshments were. I was told that my car may take 2-3 hours. It was only about 1 1/2 hours when they called to say it was ready. A service person was ready to come for me then, but I asked for a little more time which was fine. For my first experience, everyone was polite and very accommodating. I bought my GLK through this dealership one year ago and they did a good job in locating a GLK with features that I was interested in. It did take a couple of weeks to do this.

We had been shopping for a new car for the last several months but were disappointed by all the announced new articles and recall notices in the newspapers and on TV. Since we are both in our senior years, we wanted a luxury car this time around. He was never rushed, and he spent a long, long time to work with us, let us take time to think and decide. He even called us at home during his days off after our purchase to make sure we are happy with our car and we have no questions about the car. I am very pleased with the whole car purchase process and with my visit to the Mercedes- Benz of Sarasota, great experience, and excellent Customer Service. I chose my vehicle from home in my computer and begun the purchase process through their Auto Nation Direct Program. Then, I was contacted by Ms. Montez Valentine who was very courteous and Knowledgeable and who sat up much of the process for me so when I would arrive to the dealership, the car would be ready waiting for me and Mrs. Peter Bolduc ready to assist me. I went from Tampa to Sarasota to buy my first car on public transportation. I was so scared to drive back to Tampa because I had not driven for a long time and also because I had never drove by myself for such a distance. To my good fortune, the sales agent who received to me at this dealership, Mrs. Peter Bolduc, was so gentile and patient. I explained my situation to him and he immediately took action to help me. He drove the car for me a few miles and showed me the car functions and took me to a big lot so I could refresh my driving skills. He also showed me how to come back to Tampa. I got used to drive again thanks to his patient and good teachings. He went above and beyond and made me feel that I was a very special customer. At the time of closing the business, he was very professional, knowledgeable, and patient too. I wish there were more people as Mrs. Peter in this world because life would be easier for people like me who are not fluent in English and need a lot of help and patience. Thank you all!

This is the second car we have purchased from MB of Sarasota. First time was a BMW and the experience and service we received from Roger Kumapayi was outstanding. My wife and I came to the Mercedes Dealership in Sarasota to look at a new Mercedes SUV. James Easter met us there and provided all the information and data pertaining to the vehicle. He was extremely courteous and knowledgeable and willing to offer a fair price. I feel he went above and beyond to be sure that we were satisfied. We then purchased two new cars; a GLA 250 and a GLK 350. After the deal was made he even offered to drive home with us to pick up the second trade-in to save us a long trip the following day. This is the second car we have purchased from MB of Sarasota and it won't be the last. Everyone on the sales floor was very pleasant and helpful. The finance manager had an excellent attitude even though we were there after hours on a Sunday (they were quite busy!). Rick Chang was our sales person and he could not have been more helpful and was a joy to work with. The dealerships service area drop-off is covered and well protected from the Florida weather. An assistant service manager pleasantly greeted me for my scheduled service appointment. The waiting area and restrooms were clean. Complimentary snacks and beverages were provided. The service bays are visible from the waiting area through a glass walled partition for those that wish to keep an eye on their vehicle. I had a seat problem diagnosed and I decided against having the dealership perform the repair. There was no pressure from the staff over declining the repair and quite remarkably they discounted the replacement parts price so that I could make the repair myself. Additionally the fee for the diagnoses was more than reasonable. I also inquired about the dealership performing an oil change with the oil and filter that I had provided to which they quoted a very fair price. This was a job that I had intended on doing myself but instead had the service technician perform. The service staff at Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota was very accommodating to my needs. I would recommend their services to friends and family.

My wife and I were visiting Sarasota from Williamsburg, VA when we had a concern with our Mercedes-Benz C-300 lighting system and drove to this dealership. Upon arrival we learned the problem was our - not understanding one of the system's features. We were very embarrassed but the service manager politely explained it to us, offered a car wash, and gave us a tour of the waiting area. When informed our vehicle was ready he further told us a complimentary car wash, tire pressure check, and fluid top-off service was available to us any time we were in Sarasota. This outstanding customer service experience to an out-of-town visitor earned this dealership my business should I ever need service while in the Sarasota area.

Peter was very helpful assisting me with some concerns I had had that I thought needed service attention. I've owned Mercedes for decades and purchased some from the old Glauser dealership. But frankly I went away as I'd become a bit disenchanted with both Mercedes and the dealership. But I'm back and glad of it. I've just traded and my experience was absolutely first-class all the way around. Bill Ussery and Ernie Withers made me feel like I was in one of my wife's day spas! And the car is simply magnificent. Customer-orientation is big in advertising today but too often leads to over-expectation and under-performance. We came to Mercedes Benz of Sarasota to inquire about a new ML 350. We bought our 2012 ML350 here but now it has 51,000 miles on it so we were interested in trading in our car for a new one. The service here has been impeccable. We spoke with sales associate Laura Lockwood. After assessing our needs she felt it best to consider a certified pre-owned Mercedes. She spoke with us length about our preferences for color, options and model. She would let us know if something came along in this regard. A few days later Laura called to let know a silver 2014 ML 350 with 1,400 miles would be coming in soon. When it arrived she called us that same day. I have never been enthusiastic about shopping for new cars principally because I anticipated the hard sell that I'd receive from many new car salesmen was endemic to the profession. Prior to shopping for my new Mercedes Benz I bopped around on the Internet and developed a fairly good idea of what I had hoped to find in equipment, accessories and color. Knowing I was going to spend the next seven months in Florida, I phoned Sarasota-Mercedes Benz from Chicago and over the phone was introduced to Tom Clancy. That was my lucky day. I looked Tom up shortly after I came to Florida. We spent a very productive time together. The inventory this company had on hand was remarkable. A very complete selection of models and colors giving me a very easy way to make my final choice. Tom was extremely helpful in pointing out features, answering questions and setting up road tests during my selection process. I bought a car that day from him. Since then he's been in touch with me a few times already to be sure I was happy and had all my needs taken care of. Sarasota M/B is a swell place with a terrific team of people.

This is our fourth new Mercedes purchase from Mercedes Benz of Sarasota in the last five years. This by itself speaks volume about the dealership, its staff and facilities. In our latest purchase just a week ago, our preferred sales contact - Christopher Fulton - went above and beyond of what one can expect of dealership's sales representative. Prior to delivery he understood exactly how and where I wanted the car delivered - in my driveway as a birthday present to my completely unaware spouse. When my wife went outside that morning, she was completely stunned by a look of a gorgeous MB car with huge bow with keys inside. I had a wonderful experience purchasing my ES350 convertible! As soon as I walked in I was treated with the upmost respect and straight ahead sincerity in helping me find my dream car. Chris Ranney is my salesman who answered every question to the best of his ability. If he wasn't sure he would track down the best person in the dealership to get me the correct answer. He didn't attempt to make up something up just to please me. Chris and I did several test drives. He drove me around the grounds in a golf cart pointing out the differences in the various models I was interested in. Chris has a great pride in this dealership and truly Loves and believes in the Mercedes benz product. I was well educated on not only the product but also Mercedes and the dealership. I certainly feel welcomed to the Mercedes family and am very comfortable asking for service, knowing that I will be satisfied. I recently bought a used KIA Optima from Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota, not only did I get a cherry of a car in excellent condition, the experience from start to finish was the best I've ever had. I live about an hour away and Cary Smart worked with my schedule, offered to come in on a day off, and stayed very late to help make sure I didn't have to make a second trip to finalize the details. I was treated as if I bought the most expensive car there, everyone was courteous, friendly, no pressure and even worked with me as my credit was less than perfect to find the best possible deal. E-Class from Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota The car has been pure joy and the right fit for me. Thanks to Rich Chang for researching and finding this car among the many available. That in itself is true talent. I laugh each time I swing my leg under the trunk and watch the trunk magically open. It still is a little unsettling to allow the car to self park yet, I am confident this will continue to be an enjoyable experience for several years.

I would highly recommend this dealer. I had a couple of issues when I purchased a used vehicle from this dealer, however they went above and beyond to take care of the issues and resolved them very quickly. We recently bought a new Mercedes from the Mercedes Benz of Sarasota. I must say in all honesty that this experience was highly pleasant. From the sales associates Peter Bolduc and John Zuccolo all the way to the administrative staff made us very impressed with the quality of care that the dealership extended to us. Peter, in particular, spent a good amount of time in introducing the different Mercedes models and in answering our questions. He went out of his way in finding the desired car for us. John was also very efficient in going through the final stages of this sale while Peter was on leave. All in all, I highly recommend this dealership and its sales associates.

I am the owner of 4 previous expensive German cars which were not Mercedes. I have a lot of experience with auto dealers and my overall past experience with those dealers was that they would always try and rip you off one way or another. My experience with Mercedes of Sarasota was awesome and a very happy one, not because I bought a vehicle from them but the way they treated me. The sales person Roger Kumapayi went above and beyond his duties as a sales person to help me in every way in picking out the right car for me. The finance manager Brad got me the best interest rate that anyone can get, and the general manager of this dealership was very friendly and also very helpful. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone of my friends or family members that need an auto. There aren't too many dealerships like this around with the honesty and friendliness that they offered. Thanks Roger, your a great sales person.

We recently bought our first Mercedes from Mercedes Benz of Sarasota. I have to say that our experience there was beyond compare. Everyone that we spoke with was helpful and caring. John Zuccolo is a very good salesman and we would recommend him to anyone. He worked very hard to make our sale a positive experience. Since the sale, I have been in the service area for some minor details. Again, everyone is incredibly helpful. My service representative is David Gaulman IV. I highly recommend David as well. He stays on top of things and alerts me as to the ETA for my repairs. As you can tell, we have nothing but good things to say about Mercedes Benz of Sarasota. It is well worth your time to check them out.

My wife and I went to Sarasota to have a look at the SmartCar. We could not believe that any car agency would treat us so nicely. We wound up going home in a new SmartCar. We have been married 50 years and have traded cars every two years. I can honestly tell you that we have never before been treated so nicely at a car agency. Everything they did was far beyond our expectations. We know exactly where we will be getting a new car when we are ready for one.

I found the perfect vehicle online - though 900 miles from me. After an online inquiry, I got an immediate call from a sales associate, Sean. Long story short, I now own the vehicle. I could not have asked for anyone more responsive to my many inquiries and helping me navigate the waters of this long-distance transaction. He always returned my calls promptly, even on his days off. Most importantly, there were no surprises when I took receipt of the vehicle.

In Nov. 2012 I was in the market for a used car. I found a 2002 Chrysler Sebring Limited with 36000 miles on the internet and had a friend in Sarasota check it out. George our salesperson knew nothing of the product. We were told the Smart car could be towed. WRONG they slip into neutral and catch on fire. They sure don't tell you that! Ernie Withers the Manager was happy to take the car back at a $6,000 loss to us within the first 6 months. the car itself rolls back on hills, slips into manual gears and is a road hazzard. Don't walk away from this dealership, RUN.

My boyfriend and I went to test drive the smart fortwo. We did not call ahead but we were immediately approached upon entering the dealership's doors. George came over and introduced himself. He asked our names and we responded. George was courteous throughout the entire interaction. Both my boyfriend and I sat inside the smart. We love it. I am 6'2 with long legs. I fit comfortably indie the driver's side. I am impressed with the room and overall safety. George told us all about the standard and optional features. He also mentioned the cash back offerings available until the end of May. I asked george if I may drive the vehicle. He said he'd need to make a copy of my Driver's License. The smart fortwo rides smoothly. For it's small size, I was surprised. The automated manual transmission took less than 5 minutes to adjust to. I am looking for a manual transmission for my next purchase. I would gladly take the automated manual without the clutch becuase I love this car. I also found that for $1500 I would be able to change the body panels' color. The process takes as little as 30 minutes to complete. That is exciting!! Though I am not ready to buy until the end of 2012 or the beginning of 2013, I will definitely come back to George at MB of Sarasota/smart center of Sarasota to make my future purchase. Thanks George for a pressure-free experience.

I recently visited the new Mercedes-Benz of Sarasota store, I had purchased from the old store, but this was my first visit at the new location. WOW! The building is a beautiful work of art! It has everything I would need to be comfortable doing business there and servicing my car there. I am actually looking forward to using their service lounge and cafe. The salesman, Peter was Awesome, and everyone seemed genuinely happy and concerned for my needs. The Sales Manager, Scott Foster, actually took the time to come over and introduced himself. Needless to say I am a happy return customer and as long as I live in Venice, I have no reason to go anywhere else. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
