Really an easy, non-stressful buying experience. Clark was knowledgeable, and found out the answers to technical questions that I had. There was a certain amount of give and take before a deal made, but much lower pressure than other dealers. I recommend this dealership.

Bought a CX-5 and the process was great! Tyne, Daniel and the rest of the team were great to work with, accommodating of my requests, and patient since I was selling my old car to another dealership. Every question I had was answered and the price I got was by far the best I could find anywhere. I would highly recommend buying a car from Mazda of Gladstone, I'm happy I did.

Just bought a CX-5 from them. Did a lot of researches online and went through hassles contacting multiple dealerships. Their process is by far the most simplified and streamlined one. They also offered the best deal without forcing you to go to the dealership. They were patient, kind, transparent and helpful without putting pressures on you. They turned a car purchasing experience into a very enjoyable one. I would highly recommend them. If you are going there, check with Erin.

after talking to a few other dealerships, one whos sales manager was incredibly rude, I had pretty much given up on getting the car I had wanted. we had contacted Mazda of Gladstone and within minutes was receiving phone calls from Ted Rippee who was very adamant about meeting our desired price for my new car and although we didn't quite get to where we wanted he got us to a price that was very acceptable. I really appreciate how hard he tried to get us a good deal, especially after our experience at the other dealers. when we got to the dealership Ted was unfortunately unavailable but in his place we had the help of Emileigh who was fantastic to work with and very sweet! the only thing that would have made the visit better would be to have seen her two rabbits (Big Bun/Little Bun). thanks for the great visit Mazda of Gladstone!

This is the first time I've done an online review. This dealership is not like any other I've been in. I was greeted 3 times before I even walked in the door. It was a very relaxing environment. You can tell the team that works there is tight knit and believes in making the customer walk away satisfied and happy with the purchase they make.I worked with Emileigh Coen. She answered all my questions knowledgeably and was very patient with me. I told her this was the biggest purchase I've made and was actually a little scared. She never once pushed me into buying my car. The finance gentlemen didn't push me either when I declined certain warranties which is unheard of. I am now a proud owner of a 2017 mazda3! I put on over a hundred miles in a day and a half just having fun driving it!! Also Emileigh and another coworker drove the car I came in all the way back home to Vancouver Wa. For me!!! I've been leery of buying a new car for many years do to a horrible experience with a dealership that luckily no longer exists. The fine folks at Mazda of Gladstone were fantastic at every point of the process and even though it was a very busy day made my time there feel like I was their priority. I went in to check and see what options I have. I wanted to get out of my little sedan, I miss my SUV. Lynn Sanchez helped me to find a suitable vehicle for me. Her attention was always on me. I went in to Mazda of Gladstone after speaking to David Stanwix via phone and email to discuss the car and options I wanted, with a price I could afford. I arrived to see a particular car that I had found online. I was greeted at the door, with the car ready for me to see. There was no rush, no pressure and each staff member took the time to fully explain and answer any and all questions my wife and I had. They had a wide selection of vehicles which was great when it came down to deciding what bells and whistles we wanted and needed and what prices options we had for each Mazda CX-5 vehicle. Overall it was a great experience and my wife and I are very happy, not only with the vehicle, but with the staff and experience as well. Big thanks to Manny Vargas, David Walton, David Mendenhall, and Jeff Karlin for staying late and taking care of us. Also want to thank Avalon Harris for getting us set up with a free rental car while the service team installed the chip protection, as well as getting our new car back to us in the same day. I contacted multiple dealers via the Internet in the Portland area, and Mazda of Gladstone had significantly better pricing (without haggling) than the others for the vehicle I wanted. In addition, they are super responsive to online communication. Going into the dealership to finalize the purchase was just as good; everyone was super friendly and helpful. For example, when my key remote was slow, I stopped at the parts dept. to ask about it. The attendant looked it over, and installed a new battery, on-the-spot, free of charge. I live a couple hours away from the dealership. They were able to negotiate a deal all over the phone and respected that I would have to make a drive to come look at the car. Something ended up happening to the car and it got a small crack in the bumper. They paid for a completely new bumper and honored the deal we made prior to the bumper cracking. They gave me a great deal, gave me an awesome loaner car while I was waiting for my new car, and they even drove it to my work a couple hours away to swap the cars so I didn't have to make another trip to the dealership. Everyone was so nice the entire time, Manny was very personable, and Mazda made buying the car a piece of cake. These guys set the bar when it comes to customer service, and I never expected such a wonderful experience purchasing a car. I would recommend these guys and without a question would buy another car here!

Buying a car is never without its stresses. Manny and Jonathan simplified the experience. Manny found the car we wanted in advance and gave us the internet price. No pressure. He listened to what I was looking for. Was able to do credit application in advance of going to the dealership so we didn't have to wait for it while we were there.Manny spent a great deal of time going over the features of the car with our primary driver. This was really imperative, because the car has so many great features. If you are looking for a Mazda and a pleasant buying experience, I would recommend this dealership.BTW, they have a great TV in the waiting area and we were able to watch our favorite college football teams play during our time there.

Accidentally hit that Edmunds.com "get a quote"- and if you have, you know that you get a TON of texts and emails. But Emileigh from Gladstone stood out. She was courteous, non-obtrusive but had excellent follow-up and follow-through. Finally got in the actual dealership and just had to give her a hug- process went smoothly. Before visiting Mazda of Gladstone I test drove a Mazda CX-5 a few weeks before at Beaverton Herzog Meier and had an unpleasant experience. I worked with Ted Rippee prior to driving down to Gladstone from Beaverton over the internet to discuss pricing on the CX-5 for the specific trim I was looking for. From the time I entered their dealership , I was treated with nothing but professionalism. I just bought a car today and the experience was outstanding. I have not had to buy a car in over 12 years and was honestly expecting pressure and stress. I was considering the Honda Civic, Mazda 3 or Subaru Legacy. Instead I was greeted by a friendly and very helpful saleswoman-Savannah Thomason.She is a relatively new hire but I was instantly impressed. She was knowledgeable, low key, highly professional and did not push. Making a decision to buy this car took some time and she clearly remained not only patient but engaged. I also was impressed with her honesty and her friendly demeanor appeared genuine. I liked the car and the negotiating process also was surprisingly smooth and easy. I contacted Manny Vatgas via email and asked a few questions about the 2016.5 Mazda CX 5 Grand Touring. After a few emails I scheduled a test drive with Manny for a2016.5 Mazda CX 5 for a quiet Sunday morning. We wanted to be able to see, test drive, and ask question without a lot of distraction. When we arrived we met Manny and unfortunately he was ill that day but handed us off to an incredibly patient young man "Arturo Venegas" (whom later, I found out from a co worker when he saw the photo of our new car graduated high school with Arturo..) So back to Sunday... I explained to Arturo that we had several questions and wanted a solid test drive & we were not purchasing today. Arturo was a wealth of information and let us look all over the CX 5 and never once did he make us feel rushed or was he irritated by all our questions. After the drive, he of course wanted to talk numbers. Again we had no plan to purchase that day but after talking and seeing what they were willing to do to make the deal plus we did some back and fourth, until both parties were happy saving money and making money.. ( It's a give and take on both sides to make a good deal people..) So we shook on it... We did the paper work and then it was funny when it came time to white a check we had to laugh due to the fact we "Did not come to class prepared.." Remember we just wanted to drive one. So we had to return the next day on Arturo's day off to finish the paperwork and write a check. Guess who came in on his day off; Arturo, and he sat in the CX 5 and again went over all the infotainment information helped us set up some features to our liking and made sure the car was spotless, he even buffed a smudge off to paint he found. Now all this would not have been possible if it were not ALSO for the two other men whom worked with us as well, Chad & Jeff

I signed up on an internet site several months ago. Manny Vargas contacted me. I was just sort of feeling my way around on Mazda.I was trying to interest my wife about a new car to replace our old (14 yrs) Nissan Altima. She wanted to wait until the new year. I put out a request for bids on Friday morning, having already done my homework and initial test drive of the 2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring. I knew exactly what I wanted, and Lynn Sanchez was the first to contact me with pricing on exactly what I asked for. Other similar bids came as well, some for vehicles that weren't EXACTLY what I asked for. Bids were all within a few hundred bucks of each other, and I would rather deal with someone close to home. When I showed up after work, she (and my car) were waiting. I did another test-drive (just to be sure), while Lynn pointed out the various features on the vehicle that were new to me. I would have signed the papers immediately, but my husband wanted to test drive, which delayed the sale until the next morning. I arrived Saturday morning first thing and my car was freshly detailed and waiting for me. Got a fair price for my trade in, and a loyalty discount, and zero percent financing, making me content that I got a decent deal. The only hard-sell came during the paper-signing when they really wanted me to buy the extended warranty; this is true with every dealer I've ever dealt with, and is not a reflection of Mazda Gladstone. The paperwork guy was very nice, so I politely turned down the warranty offer several times. I'm a gambler like that. Anyway, once papers were signed, Lynn spent plenty of time teaching me about the GPS, Bluetooth, fancy door locks, and other features on the fanciest car I've ever purchased. She was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and very personable as well, and I would definitely recommend her if you're looking for a new Mazda. Got to meet the parts and service staff as well, as they will be seeing me in the future for routine service. Entire staff was great!

The test drive and sales experience was great. I felt that Manny listened to what I did and didn't want in my Mazda CX-5 and had the perfect vehicle lined up to test drive the following day, which I did end up buying! They make you feel really special and bring the car in to the showroom to show it off when your purchase is complete. He spent a good deal of time explaining the vehicle features after the purchase which was super-helpful. I had a part to pick up the next day and they made sure it was ready for me when I arrived. We met Carmen in May while searching for a planned July purchase. She took us on an extended test drive to get a true feeling of the vehicle, and we knew Mazda was the one. I was a little skeptical when I showed up on the lot, and the salesman who greeted me (Bob) handed me off to someone else (He had to take delivery on another car), but out pops this smiling, friendly young lady, Savannah, who while new to the auto sales business, offset her inexperience with a load of enthusiasm! Despite only having been with the dealership for a little over a month, she was as well-versed with the vehicles as many experienced auto sales people with whom I dealt.But, of course, what we all dread is the negotiating. Now, if you are a wheeler-dealer, looking for the absolute best price, then this might not be the dealership for you. For me, someone who has been in sales for almost 30 years and who has made his living on taking care of the customer, I want friendly and respectful service--I want to feel like I can walk into the showroom at any time and say, "Hi you guys!", and feel confident that I will get a comparable greeting in return. Now that is MY kind of dealership, and Gladstone Mazda meets that description to the letter.Just to complicate things, I needed to be in Corvallis by 3:00PM in order to close a deal of my own, which meant getting out the door by 1:30PM, and Gladstone Mazda met that goal. Besides Savannah, Dave Walton was awesome--I immediately hit it off with him--and Jonathan the finance manager and Zac Caverhill the general manager were all great to deal with. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone, and I look forward to coming here again (maybe soon) to purchase my next car.

I was drawn in by the low lease rates offered by Mazda on the 3, knowing that the model I was looking at (2.5l, MT, Grand Touring) would be significantly more expensive. They happened to have precisely the model I wanted on the lot, and after some back-and-forth with another dealer, MoG managed to match the offer and get me out with a down payment and monthly payment I could live with. Bob was helpful, friendly, and took me on a great test-drive that really showed off the 3. It was also nice that they didn't hit me hard during the finance portion; everything went smoothly, quickly and easily. Alex showed me the three cars i was interested in side by side and explained all the features and differences. He was extremely knowledgeable and didn't try to talk me into one or the other. I wanted to go to the closest Mazda dealership (which was not Gladstone) I walked in and asked them if they still use the Costco auto program, which they replied no, but they said I should be able to get a comparable deal through internet sales department. I was in research mode so I decided to try. I almost went forward with the purchase of a Mazda 3 but decided to hold back since I really wanted a Mazda 6.A couple of week later I was still doing research and decided to try the Costco Auto program, I entered my information and Manny called within 2 minutes. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional and took the time to go through the available options in a very relaxed manner. I scheduled a test drive later that evening and bought the car a couple of days later. Manny understands and is very mindful what it takes to get a customer into the dealership, he was thoroughly professional and went out of his way to confirm the transaction all the way through. You can tell he really enjoys his job. Customer service is paramount with this dealership, that coupled with the a great selection of cars and the Costco auto connection makes a great combination. By the way I am still waiting for the other local dealer who is using the Costco connection to call/email me and the first dealership I visited still calls me to see if I am interested to pursuing my sale even though I told them a week before via email that I had purchased a car already. I had been to TWO OTHER dealerships trying to trade my current vehicle that I've had for 2 years in for a new one. Both times I was told I owed too much and the value was too low and I needed a huge down payment, perfect score co-signer, or fix and update the car to be able to make a deal. I had been doing trade in appraisal's online and Mazda of Gladstone was one of them. Alex had called me asking to come down but I already was set on a different dealer (which I was turned away without even running my credit), next day Kat called me. Said that they are a large dealership and can handle a negative trade etc, or work something out for me. I was VERY hesitate to come in, but I did anyways a couple days later after work. I walked in discouraged and figured I'd be wasting my time and theirs. They appraised my 2010 chevy aveo hatchback around what the other dealers did, but didn't turn me away. When it came time to look for payment options, they bumped up the trade in cost ALOT so I hardly had any negative equity sitting on my new car with my down payment etc. They worked to get me a lower finance rate too. The car is AMAZING, WITH A WARRANTY. I also was given a discount on the car wrap warranty as well. I feel very confident about my purchase, very pleased with the service I was provided. Everyone was welcoming and knowledgeable. I wasn't turned away, I was accommodated and I can't be more grateful. I recommend this dealership over any other I have been at.

Great experience- would go back when looking for another vehicle. Carmen was our first contact as my daughter and I walked on the lot. She was very nice and walked us all over the lot getting to know what we were looking for. Our next contact was Alex, he also was very nice and gave us some information we needed. We had been to about 5 other lots and when the salesmen found out we were looking and would come back the next day with my husband, I got the feeling they didn't want to waste any more of their time. There was not that feeling at Gladstone Mazda- we got Carfax info on a car my daughter liked and the next day came back with my husband- drove the car- worked with Alex, bought the car and were very pleased with the experience.

I worked with 3 other dealerships before I found out about Gladstone Mazda. My experience with the other dealers was absolutely terrible. I spent a couple hours on the phone with the first dealership talking about the car I wanted and the price I wanted. When I came in the next day to actually see the car before I signed the paperwork, I was told the car sold and he tried to sell me another car I did not want. I spent 5 hours at the previous dealership trying to negotiate a deal on the car I wanted only to see that the car had scratches all on the bumper. They sent the car to get fixed up twice and each time the car came back with new damage on it. I was about to give up with buying a new car altogether until I worked with Katt from Gladstone Mazda. I told her about my horrible experiences with the three other dealerships and Katt really came through. Everyone at Gladstone made car buying a great experience instead of a stressful one. They had exactly the car I wanted without a scratch on it. I was treated with respect and Katt really went out of her way to give me a great deal and make sure I was well taken care of. She was very straight forward, broke all of the expenses down for me and took the time to show me everything I would be getting in my new car. I would highly encourage anyone looking for a Mazda to visit Gladstone first to avoid going through the same horrible experience I had at other dealerships.

My husband and I went in to just look at a Sport trac we saw on the lot. Upon arrival we were not hounded or pushed into buying anything, we just sat down and talked about our life in general, hobbies, jobs, favorite foods. Ect.... felt like sitting down with family. I was able to work out the terms of the lease via email and there were no changes or games when I arrived to sign the paperwork. It was all very simple and straight forward which I appreciated. For the first time in my life, I bought a car by negotiating online. I contacted about 6 or 7 different dealers in the area. This one was by far the most responsive, able to work with me on price and financing. They bent over backwards to make this deal happen for a relatively inexpensive car. When the loan rate I got was a bit high, they were able to talk to the bank and lower it. And the best part: they even picked me up from the airport ! Concierge service. It was like I was buying a Ferrari, not a Mazda.

Alex is AMAZING! I know I was not an easy customer to deal with. After two trips to the dealership and several hours Alex displayed a remarkable amount of patience and understanding. Like most other people, I dread the necessity of buying a car. I can't believe I can say this was truly a great experience. Every question I had was answered. Alex answered the phone right away when I called, I explained what I was interested in and he had a couple models ready to go when I got there. I test drove one and fell in love with it. Being a first time buyer I was pretty nervous about the whole experience but the whole atmosphere and staff were very low pressure. He was very patient and answered all my questions, explaining everything in excellent detail. Chris in Finance was also very helpful and pleasant, he was able to bring me more savings and value. I was at the dealership for close to four hours and everyone was accommodating and attentive the entire time. After everything was done, they were even able to bring my old vehicle back to my place (in Vancouver!). Definitely would recommend Gladstone for anyone looking for a Mazda. I'm loving my Mazda 3...

I came in to replace my first ever brand new car, a 2012 Mazda 3 iTouring with Skyactiv. It was a difficult situation for me as my car, my baby, had been totalled in an accident caused by a hit and run driver who hit me. My insurance company paid out way below it's replacement value (about $2-3,000). I had just paid the loan off. Lynn was very sympathetic and friendly.After a few test drives at other dealerships, I was happily surprised at a few things when I came in:1. Lynn had found the exact model, color, trim and options I was looking for before I came in.2. The price was equal to quotes emailed to me by other truecar identified dealerships. The price was equal to or less than dealerships I had met with before- not truecar identified dealers.3. The dealership worked really hard to find me financing with good interest rates. I ended up in a really good place. My rate is not an amazing rate, but in my situation the rate was remarkably lower than anticipated. With identity theft in my past and a lower credit score, dealerships or credit unions were quoting much higher interest rates.4. This is the second Mazda 3 I have bought new off the lot. This time my new car was presented with pomp and circumstance. The awesome team at Gladstone Mazda brought my new car in to the showroom so that it was waiting for me with a bow on it. Pictures of the occasion were taken and sent to me so now I have a photo memorial of the purchase. I was given a very detailed instruction session on all of the little things that the car can do and how to program it. The last time I purchased a new Mazda (for a steal of a deal in 2012) the dealership spent forever with paperwork and then we went to a gas station to put gas in the car. They gave me the keys at the gas station after they filled up the tank. I learned how to work everything by pushing buttons or by looking at the manual.5. The amount of time and attention I was given by staff was amazing and different from any other dealership I had been to. I feel bad that I don't remember the name of the amazing guy who helped me with my financing but he was awesome. Lynn was amazing. Everyone there was doing a great job.At the end of it all, I got a great car, great financing and a good price ...and the experience was fun!I did feel that the financing talk felt like it got a bit into a confusing place with so many numbers being thrown around and maybe I spent more than I had planned- but I added some very important features, protections, services and warranties I hadn't planned on when price shopping. They were things I needed and am happy to have.

My fiance and I had been looking at several crossover SUV's and had been in communication with several dealers. When I called Mazda of Gladstone, I mainly dealt with Kat Klages. The only reason that I did not rate Kat as excellent is because of one interaction that we had early on in our discussions over a vehicle. Like I mentioned, I had been in communication with several dealers and when I asked Kat about an offer that I had received from another dealer, her response was not the best. However, beside that interaction, all other interactions with Kat were excellent. She was always quick to reply to both my calls and my emails. She was willing to work with me on the price and did not make the negotiation process a nightmare. When I was finally ready to purchase the vehicle, she needed to put me in contact with her manager who was also quick to return my calls and emails and was also willing to work with me in terms of price. When I visited the dealer, Kat met us in the parking lot and had the vehicle ready to go. She gave us a very thorough test drive and explanation of the cars' many features. Overall, I am very satisfied with the overall service that I received from Mazda of Gladstone.

My Daughter was in an accident that totalled her 2015 Mazda3. After settling with the insurance company and paying off the loan there wasn't any money left over. We worked with Manny in internet sales and was able to negotiate a fantastic price that allowed my Daughter to get into a new 2016 Mazda 3 for the same payment. Thing is that the new car had options the old one didn't. The experience was flawless and executed as advertised. After the deal was closed and we were ready to leave I realized we forgot to buy the GPS chip. Even though the parts department was closed they opened it up and found us the navigation chip. They even gave us a steal of a deal on the extended warranty and maintenance package. My Daughter is back into a better car than she had before with a 4 year service contract covering all scheduled maintenance items, a 7 year bumper to bumper extended warranty and the monthly payment is the same as she had before the accident. Manny, Monica and the entire staff at the dealership were wonderful to work with and all I can say to them is THANK YOU!!!!

I went through the Costco Auto Program to lease my new vehicle. Within minutes of signing up on the Costco Auto site, Manny Vargas was in touch with me to set up an appointment for a test drive. He kept in touch with me until the day of my appointment, making sure I knew how to get to the dealership and that any questions I had about the test drive were addressed. Upon arriving at Mazda of Gladstone, I was met in the parking lot by a staff member who immediately took me to Lynn Sanchez to start my test drives. Lynn was amazing; she was very informative/knowledgeable concerning the different vehicles I test drove, and was very attentive, never once checking for text messages from other clients, nor taking calls - she had said this time was completely blocked out for me, and that was 100% true. She was always ready for me to try another vehicle to make sure I had the chance to check every vehicle I wanted to try and to make sure I found the perfect car for me no matter how long that process took. When I had finally decided on which vehicle I wanted, the manager David Walton was wonderful to work with. He worked very hard to give me the best offer for the vehicle I wanted and kept working on different options for financing until the we were all satisfied. During this time, he answered numerous questions, all of the time smiling and never making me feel I was wasting his time. Did I mention he has a lot of patience? And finally, Chris Coates was the Mazda of Gladstone Finance Department staff member who worked with me when we got to the signing point in the process. He was also very knowledgeable and helpful, explaining each document I needed to sign and answering all of my many questions about the financing and additional products/packages being offered. He did a wonderful job of explaining those additional products/packages, with absolutely no pressure to buy anything. Very refreshing experience!With the dedicated, knowledgeable, helpful staff at Gladstone Mazda, my vehicle lease experience couldnt have been easier. Integrity is not always easy to come by in someone, and it was great to see that Alex hasn't lost it.Chad Potter, the sales manager, and Nate Patton, the finance manager, were also very helpful, courteous, and professional, making the entire process seamless, and I was glad to leave the lot in a brand new car. I have never had a more easier, fair and comfortable experience as I did at this dealership. Emileigh was very casual, non pressuring, listened to my needs and got me the payment amount I needed in order to purchase my "first ever" brand new car. I never expected the deal to go through so fast. She worked for me and made sure I was happy and truly "loved the car." I have also received great customer service after the sale with thorough follow-up, valuing my opinion. I just love my Mazda ! They thought of everything ! Kat was simply amazing. Friendly, laid back, informative and not pushy at all (as much as any sales person can be). She got me to spend 1,000 more then I wanted with a smile on my face. She also helped me get the car to my home because I had a rental car with me. That was so much appreciated words can't describe it. The whole dealership process was smooth. Everyone answered my questions; no one blinked twice at my ignorant ones either. The only downside I can say is the process took a bit long but I don't really blame any one on that. All in all, if you want an easy car experience, with an excellent staff and the comfort of knowing you got what you wanted without any remorse. Go here and don't look back.

My wife and I were looking for a Mazda dealer to do business with. After searching reviews on dealers within our area we selected Mazda of Gladstone. We commuted 50 miles and arrived to a warm welcome. We nearly felt like we actually arrived home with our family as we soon felt that way with all of the employees that were working at the time. Everyone at one time or another made a point to say Hello to us. We selected a vehicle from the never ending inventory and it was all put together well from that point on. The timely manor of the financing,the more than knowledgeable sales employee Emileigh. There was not one question she could not answer. We were welcomed to their office and presented with multiple choices of terms,payments and opportunity's to select what we wanted! We were not going to trade our owned car in but they were more than fair. We were happy to trade it in for the value we received. I bought my last new car 17 years ago. I had been procrastinating buying a new car because of the dealer "hassle" I was anticipating. I decided I wanted the CX5, picked Gladstone because of the location, and went on in. Bob Greig was my sales person and he was so nice. Extremely informed about the Sport, Touring and Grand Touring. I knew I wanted the CX5 but did not know many details on what each model offered. My test drive lasted at least a half hour and really allowed me the chance to get a feel for the car. Went back to the dealership, made an offer, and with no haggling, we came to an agreeable price. The package I wanted, was not on the lot in the color I chose. No problem...we will get it for you. 6 hours later I get a call it is there and will be ready for me the next morning. Bob came in on his day off to personally show me how to operate all those "extra's" my 17 year old car never dreamed of having! Financing was easy, great interest rates, and everyone there was very helpful and friendly. I am now driving my beautiful new CX5,and loving it!!!

I had already test driven a few competitors for the Mazda CX-5 at other dealerships and was 100% sure of my choice with the CX-5. Next was finding the right price which led me to Gladstone of Mazda. Of the 3 dealerships, I experienced little to no pressure at Gladstone, and found them to be the most straight forward when it came to sales. It didn't take long for us to reach an agreement, which I really appreciated. My husband and I worked with Alex Parra and we highly recommend him. We felt like he was honest, easy to talk to, and genuinely cared about our satisfaction in this process. He has always been available even after our purchase when we have had questions and continues to be supportive by reaching out without being too overbearing. We also had to bring the car in for a quick fix shortly after purchase and the employees in Service were very helpful in answering any questions I had as well as getting the job done quickly.

I was assisted by Manny and Charity who helped me get the best price for the Mazda 3 Sports (Premium Package). They worked with me to beat other dealership quotes like Herzog Meier and Royal Moore. I live in Beaverton and didn't want to drive all the way to Clackamas. Manny offered to do the whole purchase remotely via text, emails and phone calls in order to compete for my business. They even waived the delivery fee and drove the car directly to me, and did all the contract signing at my house. I was in the market for a sports car for a few months. After checking out several options, I decided to get 2016 Mazda Miata ND. Given my location, I went to other Mazda dealers first (3 dealers) in Portland vicinity; interestingly, these dealers tried to sell the Miata above its market value. So this is when I decided to extend my search radius, and I saw positive reviews for Lynn. I simply use the link on Gladstone website to contact Lynn. In less than a day, I got a response confirming the car's availability. Lynn went above and beyond in answering my questions, she even sent me a video of the car's interior when I asked about the mileage on the car. Yes, I'm a picky customer (and have done extensive research on my end, so you should too before buying your new car). After one of the managers (David, straightforward deal which I like) agreed to meet my offer in the middle, I drove to Gladstone to test drive the car. Throughout the evening, Lynn was patient and cordial; very easy to work with. She gave me the space I need to really feel the car before making final decision. Ultimately, I drove home a Miata from Gladstone that same night. Overall, whether you are planning to test drive or purchase a car, I would recommend going with Lynn. Even after I signed and took home the car, she responded quickly to my inquiries and followed appropriately. Great experience, thanks to Lynn.

Kat called me on a CX5 I had inquired, I had taken a test ride with her a couple years ago. She is smart, knows her product, and is fun. I had very specific requirements for a new car, she two that could work. I drove the car I eventually bought and she advised me the vehicle was "hot" and wouldn't probably last the day. I saw a text she received from another buyer after I made an offer. Kat suggested the offer was solid but most likely was not quite enough, Kat was correct and I made my "final" offer, SUCCESS !! Kat was engaging and asked about me and what made me tick, she cared about selling me but was more interested in my satisfaction. I had not bought a car in the last 10 years and felt I could be "taken", but Kat had the information I needed to feel confident in my decision. I liked her at once and knew she had my satisfaction in mind, she also knew she the car for me( very specific specs) so I didn't pay sticker and felt good about my decision.Kat and I are similar as we both sell for a living, I will have lunch with her as she has become a friend. Having bought about eight (mostly new) cars from dealerships over the years, I dread having to buy a new car. I've spent hours arguing with salespeople, been offended by some of the ridiculous deals they offered, gotten up and walked out of a few dealerships, among other frustrations. I had no such experiences with Lynn. She was pleasant and seemed to genuinely care about getting me the car I wanted.For example, she spent more time than any other dealer showing me the features of the car, she helped pair my phone to it, and she followed up after the purchase (several times, actually) to see how I was getting along with the car, including how good of mpg I was getting - one of my primary reasons for choosing a Mazda. This was clearly not a "just make a sale" deal for her.I would, and am actually planning to, return to this dealership for my next car, especially if Lynn is still there. It was great to have a pleasant buying experience for a change, instead of the dreadful one that seems to be the industry standard.

I had found my dream car at Herzog-Meier Mazda, but really disliked the service I received from Herzog. They did not seem aggressive enough in working with me to find the price point I wanted and to give me options as to leasing or buying a vehicle. I started searching for another dealership and found Mazda Gladstone online because I was trying to see if they had the same car in their inventory. Someone immediately started talking to me online on their live chat when they saw I was searching for a vehicle. They did not have the vehicle I had fallen in love with, however, within the hour, Charity was contacting the other dealership to purchase the exact vehicle I had wanted from Herzog so that Gladstone could do business with me! It was great! Within two days I was in Gladstone's dealership signing the papers on the car. Charity and Manny took so much time and effort explaining how leasing a car works. They broke down the numbers for me on diagrams that showed how much my monthly payment for leasing versus buying would be if I put a certain amount down, and how long I wanted the lease or loan for, my interest rate, etc., and the options I would have after the lease was over. I felt like I was making an educated decision on what I wanted for my lifestyle and I did not feel pressure to go either way. I ultimately decided to lease the new vehicle and trade in my old vehicle. My old vehicle had a lot of problems with it and I got a fair price on the trade and it was so hassle free! Manny did an amazing job showing me all of the incredible features on my new car. Any time I have had a question on the vehicle I have been able to text message either Manny or Charity on my cell phone which has been hugely convenient during my work schedule. Both of them were honest with me and authentic. They've been extremely helpful since I left the lot and have checked up on me multiple times. I could not have asked for a better experience and I will be doing future business with them at Mazda Gladstone.

I gave them a price that I could handle, and they honored it, without including any hidden fees or trying to upsell me. I did my research and found the car I knew I wanted to buy: a Mazda CX-5 Touring Edition. There are 6 Mazda dealerships within an hours drive of me. I did my research and found out the dealership purchase cost and markup, so I knew what was fair and what the boundaries were for a no-deal. Dealers aren't going to give away the car, after all. I test drove at one dealership, and then sought competitive bids from all six dealers in my area through the online quote system. I'll just say the quotes varied widely, MSRP varied by over $3,000 from lower starting bid to highest. I used the online system to make my deal. Some dealerships had a very weak online presence and didn't know how to communicate the specifics of a deal through email, they just wanted my body in the showroom. Others were like a first date; awkward and terse exchanges, not really sure where you stand on the deal. With Mazda Gladstone, I had a great online negotiation. Having had deals in hand from a few dealers and doing the online research on what the bottom line was for the dealership, I knew the cards I could play. But Gladstone of course knew the cards too, and we got down to a good, fair deal in about 3 email exchanges. I have to give credit to Chad in the online sales department, he made me feel comfortable and locked down the specifics for me quickly. Chad gets an A+ for pulling me in.When I got to the dealership my dealer Bob was out on a call, but I didn't have to wait long. He had called me when I was arranging the purchase and I knew I was in good hands.I had already secured financing but this dealer isn't able to do indirect lending, a negative for me because I had already secured lending through my credit union. I decided to proceed with the purchase anyway. Bob, my sales associate, was great. He took the time to show me the specifics of the vehicle that I wasn't able to research online. He made it a personable purchase experience, which up to that point was totally online. I honestly liked the guy and enjoyed talking with him about the car. He was the personal connection that made the buying experience for me. I worked with Nathan (I think that's his name) to make the deal on paper. We talked about the current warranty, sign here, sign there. He tried to sell me the extended warranty and almost convinced me. Good salesman, I'd be wary trying to negotiate with him on an empty stomach. He knows his stuff. It was a few months of personal work figuring out what car to get. It was a few days worth of time sending email blasts to dealers to get conversations started. Once I landed on Mazda Gladstone, it was about an hours worth of time through calls and email to set up the purchase, and then just under 3 hours from arriving at the dealership to pulling off in my new car. After that, zoom zoom. I was off. The leather steering column feels great. The pickup is smooth and fast. I feel good about the purchase, no regrets. If you are looking for a Mazda in the Portland Metro region (or even Bend or Salem), look to these folks. They are quite competitive and good to work with.

I was working with another dealer trying to locate a specific model and color Mazda 3. They were unable to locate it for me and was going to be forced into ordering one. After double checking the Mazda website the one I was looking for popped up at this dealer. I called and spoke with Arturo and he ran out to the lot and took a picture to prove he had it. It had just come in the night before. I explained the price I was quoted by the other dealer and within the hour I had a promise of the same price and was told the car was mine. Drove down an hour later and took a quick test drive. The car was still wrapped in plastic. In 90 minutes my wife and I were driving away in our new Mazda for the exact price I was promised over the phone. The financing was good and we were approved for 2.79% within minutes. Of course there was the obligatory sales pitch by the finance guy to get us to buy add ons. He only pushed hard on the maintenance program but after explaining my reasons by declining it we moved on. I know they make extra commission on these and he disappointment was obvious but the process was painless otherwise. Arturo was excellent and knows his product. He answered every question I had by showing me the answer, no guessing. If he didn't know he looked it up in the manual and showed me his findings. He was funny and courteous, and obviously like what he does. The building is under construction so everything happens in a mobile trailer. Its a bit worn down but they is was comfortable and warm.

None of the usual dealer BS (have to check with my manager and so on). Discussion of price was upfront and quick. Very little of the endless back and forth I experienced from some other dealers. This is a dealership that has adapted to the fact that the asymmetry of information regarding price that influenced dealer-customer relationships before the internet has largely been removed.

I went in to look for a car to replace my econo box that I had. I was paired up with Emileigh and we went to look at a few cars. She took the time to ask real questions and try to find the car for me. After finding one and taking it for a generous test drive, I decided it was worth the cost. The remaining process was pretty painless, even with it being a busy Friday. I appreciate the demeanor of all involved in the sale. Overall, it was a great day and I would recommend this dealer to my friends.

While researching from home Kat Klages, their internet manager provide fast detailed information regarding all the various packages available for a new Mazda CX-5. She respected our request of how we wanted to be contacted regarding our questions in a timely and professional manner. She even set up an opportunity for us to actually see each of the different models with all of the trim levels. During the test drive no time frame or distance by her was determined allowing us to understand all of the new technology on new vehicles including the increased safety features, improved navigation explaining updates are available via our home laptop when Mazda issues. When we determined which color and trim level she researched to locate our new 2016.5 Mazda and delivered to our home once it arrived off the ship. She continued to deliver excellent customer service as she connected our smartphones, set the navigation and safety features to meet our needs following "the sale". I had been in a crash and needed a new car. After researching, I realized the Mazda 3 was for me. I looked at all the dealers in the area, printed out cars that I wanted to check out at each dealer as well as their incentives. I was ready for battle! I had been connected with Kat when I was looking at the cars online for Gladstone Mazda and she was very flexible to change appointments to meet my schedule. She wasn't pushy at all and when I finally got into the dealership I let her know what I was looking for. We test drove the different trim levels that I wanted and when I decided on the smaller engine model, she didn't try to push me to the bigger one or make me uncomfortable with my decision. She showed me the dealer invoice and msrp info and went through the available discounts she could get me (there was one I didn't think I was eligible for, but she found out I was). She explained the discounts the other dealers were showing and was up front with me. I felt like I got a good deal and even went onto kbb to look at fair market pricing and everything she had showed me, matched up and I did get a good price! I was originally planning on financing through my credit union but after everything was said and done, the finance manager was able to get me a better interest rate AND longer terms! They filled the gas tank and detailed the car as I worked with financing. I spotted a scuff mark on the car when I was getting ready to leave and the GM went out and cleaned it himself in his nice shirt and tie (turned out it was leftover wax from the detail)! I was very impressed by my whole experience. If you're planning on buying a car and you think you can go into the dealership and be out in an hour, that's an unrealistic expectation.

So...we got our taxes back and knew we needed a new car. Our credit is less than average so everything was on a whim. Kat Klagis sent us quote for the car we wanted (mazda3) and did everything perfect. From down to her pricing to alleviating any misunderstandings, she nailed it. I've never owned my own car, but I've gone to the Auto show every year for the past six or seven years and the very first time I sat in a Mazda3, I knew it was the car I wanted. I narrowed down the model on the Mazda website, then set out into the local market to find a dealer for a quote.I was contacted by three separate dealers regarding my interest. I set up meetings and made it out to two of them; one of which was Mazda of Gladstone, where I first worked with Manny, who worked with me in identifying the model I was looking for, finding it in their selection, and making sure that the car was the way I wanted it. Unlike the other dealers I was in contact with who kept checking if it "would work" if the model I wanted had X package (an extra $3,000) or was in Y color, Manny actually sat down with me and said "This is the model you asked for" and was very helpful with my financial questions. I actually financed through my credit union, but was quoted very fairly and could have gone either way. Sadly, Manny was out sick when I went in to finalize the paperwork, but that's when Kat stepped in to help out. She verified that Manny had covered everything with me and was very helpful walking me through the process, being patient with me as I set up insurance and spoke with my loan assistant. We both gushed over the color, and I drove away in a brand new Mazda very happy with my experience.

Quite frankly, I would rather have a root canal than buy a car. Lynn was low key, did not press me nor did anyone else. I was allowed to move at my speed to a decision. Do the financing how I wanted with my bank. There was not pressure at all. I would definitely recommend buying a car from them if you are in the market for a Mazda. I just traded in my old one for another CX9. Great car.

I had driven a new CX5 at a different dealership the previous day. Kat contacted me through email (after doing a TrueCar search) and asked how she could help. She promptly replied with what they had on the lot and provided me with pricing (amazing pricing at that). After some more price comparisons at other dealerships, it was clear no one else could even come close to what I was offered at Gladstone. I set up a time frame to meet with Kat. When I arrived she greeted me and was having my CX5 pulled up front. She introduced me to Alex, who handled the rest of my sales experience. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the product. I honestly felt like I was just hanging out with a friend on a Monday night, but instead I was buying a new car, which is usually one of the most stressful things to do in life. There were no hidden fees or dishonesty of any kind. Of course many dealer type options/services were offered, but they were not forced upon me in any manner. The price of the car stayed the same in the end. I signed my papers swiftly and was out the door. I still had the vehicle I drove there in to get home too. Alex, without me asking, asked for the keys and said he would drop my old car off for me at my house. Mind you it's 10pm at this point. He drove my old car home for me over 15miles away. I don't ever write reviews for anything, but I really felt I had to say something about this dealership and it's staff. They were all top notch! Friendly, courteous, professional, and yet still made you feel like family. From the sales staff to managers to finance, I couldn't be more pleased with my experience! Thank all of you sincerely and I love my new CX5! :)

My wife and I had an awesome experience while purchasing our Mazda CX-5 GT at Gladstone. I first spoke with Lynn on the phone to schedule the visit. She was very welcoming and sent me a follow-up email shortly after, with directions to the showroom since the main office building has been shutdown for remodeling. So our interaction with Gladstone started on a very positive note.We got there an hour early and Lynn was busy with another customer. So we mostly dealt with Alex while buying the car. We had zeroed in on the CX-5 due to its impressive features and had already test driven the car once. I wanted to drive the car once in the dark and compare the regular lights with the auto-leveling LED headlamps (available as a part of the tech package). Alex was very welcoming. It was freezing outside, so he asked us to stay inside while he pulled up a Touring base model and a Touring model with the Tech package near the makeshift office. He turned on the heater for the cars and warmed them up while we were waiting in the office. While test driving the cars he routed us once through the interstate and once through a dark inner road to get a feel of both the roads and also to be able to compare the respective headlamps. He also explained all the features in detail. Later my wife test drove the grand touring model; all of this was even before we had expressed any interest in buying the car on the same day. I am not sure if anyone else would be so welcoming!After we decided to buy the CX-5 GT the negotiation process with Alex was very smooth. We ultimately bought the car at a price we were very happy with. We were treating this as a long term investment, so we bought the maintenance package and the extended warranty on the car. Our interaction with Vic at the end to finalize the financial details was also very positive. I have only positive things to say about Alex, Lynn and Vic. My wife had recently bought a Honda and she said her experience there does not even compare to the experience we had at Gladstone.Thanks Gladstone for making this experience wonderful! I had a GREAT experience at Gladstone, and am currently recommending their services to my friends and associates. I'm not sure if its a Gladstone policy to traditionally use multiple Sales Associates to help their customers, or if my scenario was abnormal, but I really enjoyed it. I talked at length with a number of different members of the Gladstone staff, and it was a great opportunity to explain to each member what I specifically wanted in a Mazda. During this time, each explanation helped me to narrow down and filter out what was absolutely necessary, what was optional, and what I really didn't need. In the end, I got exactly what I wanted, at rates that I believe are very affordable. The 2015 i3 GT the they helped me get is AMAZING, and the fact that it is a Certified used Mazda is absolute peace of mind. The team there was very friendly, and they were confident in their products, their knowledge, and their ability to help me 100%. After this wonderful experience, there's a great chance that when this car is paid off, that I'll be back to look at the certified/used Mazda SUVs (CX series, or perhaps whatever is newer, in a couple years!). The best feeling is waking up the next few days, and having zero "Buyers Remorse" as I have had in the past. This car-buying experience has exceeded my previous experiences, by many orders of magnitude. Thanks Gladstone! You rock!

Although I ultimately did not purchase a new vehicle with them, I would highly recommend checking out Mazda of Gladstone. Both Bob and Alex took time to get to know my family and needs. Mazda of Gladstone is currently the go-to place for awesome and thorough mechanical service, not to mention Avalon Harris is a rare exception in the customer service business. She is a genuinely kind and caring person who makes you feel good about spending your hard-earned $$$ for whatever is necessary to keep your car in tip-top running condition. The great thing about this dealership's service department is they never try to sell you something you don't need or want, unless it's recommended on your vehicle's maintenance service schedule. We had earlier in the year purchased a 2016 Mazda CX-5 from another large local dealer. However, we found that we also needed a smaller car. We were so impressed with our CX-5 that we didn't even consider any other brand. Although we have always driven Toyota's, we had decided to shop around and review what the current literature says. We were so impressed with what we read about the Mazda 3 but we wanted to see what another dealer had to offer so we drove out to Gladstone, where we met Emileigh Coen. She was just so enthusiastic about Mazdas and presented herself so well, that we were able to close our purchase in just a couple hours and drive the car home. We felt the price to be very fair, with each component of the cost clearly explained to us.Needless to say, we would highly recommend Gladstone, and particularly Emileigh, to anyone looking for great service and a great car. By the time I came to Mazda of Gladstone, based on all the reviews I read, I had already concluded that I would purchase a Mazda. So I did not need to be "sold". I had not decided on the sedan or hatchback but after test driving and for the price difference I decided on the sedan. Throughout the experience I found that working with Lynn took all the angst out of purchasing a car. She was informative and delightful. She followed up without being annoying. When I called her the next day to confirm my purchase, by the time of our appointment she had all the paper work ready and by the time I finished car was detailed and ready to go.The finance people were professional and while they offered several add ons for options and service/maintenance did not continue to push purchasing the additional options when I declined. I was able to get an acceptable interest rate. After I made my decision it took about an hour to finalize the sale and financing. Love my new red Mazda!

Lynn was very friendly and heard my needs for the most part. My only gripe with the sales department is that I said upfront that I didn't want any of the 'dealer extras' and I was hit with them left and right. When my pricing was brought to me it had all of these add-ons built in and I had to ask twice to get them taken off. My financing also took over an hour-and-a-half to process (after I'd been there for an hour already), and during that time, they tried to sell me on another extra I didn't want, and had explicitly told them I wasn't going to buy. I mean, I get they have to do that stuff sometimes, but I could've been in and out in an hour and it could've been a really simple sale, but they dragged it out for 3.5 hours total. With that said, the 'closer' they brought in to negotiate didn't push back too hard on my price, gave me a decent interest rate with some negotiating, and the car came with protective film on the door edges and handle indents. The other big positive is the service department. I wasn't able to do a very comprehensive walk-around of the vehicle when I bought it because of the weather, but once the sky cleared, I noticed a couple of rather large scratches on the hood and fender (most likely from the port or the lot). I brought the car in, and they sent me down to a body shop down the street where they wet-sanded and polished out the scratches free of charge.

I just bought a new car at Mazda of Gladstone. Due to family issues, the process took several months to accomplish. Throughout the process Manny and Charity were knowledgeable, professional, and more than helpful. In the days leading up to today's purchase I dealt with Arturo, and he was great. Professional, patient, and a joy to work with. Even during our price negotiations, the atmosphere was friendly and low key. I just bought a great car, and had a great time doing it.

Im struggling significantly to come up with anything negative to say about Emileigh. I was looking at pre-owned cars, so I wanted to do my research to make sure I knew everything that was available in Portland before buying. Emileigh was respectful of that, but was still able to perform timely and non-pushy follow-ups, which is a customer-service art-form in and of itself.I went to the Mazda Gladstone three times over the six days I was shopping, and Emileigh was always cheerful and fun to work with- yet also patient, professional, resourceful, and willing to find out answers to any of my asinine questions. Car salesmen/women are typically pros at making you feel dumb for asking silly questions- or like youre insulting them if you start negotiating anything. None of that happened with Emileigh- she was terrific about explaining why certain things could or couldnt be done and even better at finding ways to work with me and give me reasonable options.All of this said, the most positive thing I can say about working with Emileigh is that it never felt like I was fighting her. We were always on the same page, and even when we were negotiating price at the end, it felt like we were partnering together to get the deal done in a way that worked for both of us. Im not sure if I can adequately express how significantly and how positively that impacts the car purchase. During the week I was shopping, I worked with multiple salesmen around town that were great to work with up until the part that you start nailing down numbers, and then it got uncomfortable. It was you versus them. On the other end of the spectrum, Emileigh was in my corner the entire time. What a way to differentiate herself.David was pretty terrific to work with as well. I spent most of my time with Emileigh, but David touched base with me every time I was in to make sure I was comfortable with how things were going. Where David differentiated himself was even after the deal was done, he was still doing anything he could to ensure that I left their lot with a good taste in my mouth.Only reason I marked Price as 4 stars is that I wish (in retrospect) I would have asked more questions on one of the fees, but that was minor and my own fault for not being assertive. All in all, I would repeat this car buying experience in a heartbeat.

I worked with Lynn Sanchez via email when we were shopping for a new car over the internet. I live in Central Oregon and we only have one franchise for each manufacture over here. I contacted every Mazda dealer in the state and in Vancouver, WA for quotes. Lynn worked the hardest to try to get me into a new Mazda by far. There were a couple other dealers who provided the information but never with as big a smile as Lynn (where I could tell it was coming through even in email and phone messages/conversations). To get the best deal you are always going to have to do your homework. The state of car buying now allows you to shop and compare from your home. I think Gladstone's pricing matches any other PDX dealer if you get your ducks in a row. It's Lynn's customer service that would have been the edge for me if we ended up purchasing a Mazda. We selected another vehicle in the end that better fit our needs.

My wife and I knew what we were looking for and had been to several other dealerships before going to Gladstone Mazda. We were looking for a CX 9 and had an older SUV to trade in. In about 3 hours we had the car we wanted at a price that worked for us and a reasonable trade in value for our SUV. Thank-You for listening to what we needed, being receptive and working with us to make this one of the best car buying experiences we've had. Skip going to other dealerships and head to Gladstone Mazda and ask for Emileigh you won't be disappointed.

I couldn't ask for any more from a car buying experience with Mazda of Gladstone. I had initially started at another Mazda dealer (Herzog-Meier) after deciding to buy a Mazda 3 5 door manual. They were the closest dealer with the car I wanted in stock. I drove the car and loved it. The dealer had misinformed me over the that they would accept both a motorcycle and a car as trade ins toward a new car. Upon negotiation they said they wouldn't accept a motorcycle at all. Then attempted to tell me that their bank (Chase) would only allow 15% interest and 3000 down. This was false because I had contacted chase and was approved for a specific amount at less than half of that rate with 0 down. We quickly left and set on going to another dealership the following day. My experience at Herzog-Meier was 1/5..... Alex and Mazda of Gladstone had a much better attitude, They accepted both trades at a very reasonable price and they gave me my desired interest rate and down payment. Here is the catch, when they tried to get the car we wanted from Herzog-Meier as a dealer trade, they claimed the car was pre-sold for 2 weeks, which wasn't true because we were able to buy it less than 24 hours prior. This small hiccup didn't bother Alex at Gladstone Mazda though, he quickly located one that was just arriving at the port and assigned me a luxurious loaner for the next couple days until my new car arrived. As long as Mazda of Gladstone stays around, I will never have to search for a trustworthy car dealer again.

We went in to Mazda of Gladstone not quite knowing exactly what car we were interested in. We met Alex and had a very low key experience after that. He was so easy to talk to and made us feel like there was no pressure. He made sure to answer our questions and helped us make an informed decision on which car we wanted. The test drives felt like we were just driving and chatting with a friend. After our purchase, Alex was great about checking in to make sure we were happy and make sure all questions were answered. We love our Mazda 3 and will certainly return to Alex down the road when we are ready to buy again.

It was a dark and stormy Halloween eve.....the winds were blowing....the rain pouring down flooding parts of the city......There she was like a bright star with her warm friendly smile and surprisingly in costume. Lynn made the experience fun even though we all were drenched by the end of the night. This is my second purchase from Mazda of Gladstone with Lynn as my salesperson. She is great to work with!!!! Low pressure sales at its finest. She takes the time to explain the vehicle features and compares them with your expectations.....down to the color options. I thought I wanted another charcoal gray vehicle when in fact side by side the Silver was more appealing. I love my new CX-5!!!! Beautiful car and fun to drive! Buying a car is never a "walk in, walk out" ordeal, but my experience at Mazda of Gladstone was a relatively easy experience. My boyfriend and I had visited several other dealers looking for a reliable hatchback in our price range, and decided upon a 2016 Mazda 3 with a manual. We had been pre approved through Chase for a loan for a car, but the dealership did not have the car we wanted in stock. They found one at another dealership who refused to sell it to them, but then located one at the port that had recently been unloaded from the ship. Though we didn't get to drive our new car home that day(they had to transport it) they did everything else. Our sales rep(Alex) was very helpful and helped us negotiate a price to stay within our budget and our loan limit, and worked everything out. We traded in two financed vehicles, a car and a newer motorcycle (which they were more than happy to take in for trade!)They gave us a loaner car until we get our actual car within a few days.Very pleased with my experience. I also recommend Toyota of Gladstone, as they are owned by the same person, and I had a good experience while car shopping there.

I had been looking for a used CX-5 online and spotted the one they had. It looked perfect but was a higher trim level than I had been wanting. But the mileage was low so I emailed the dealer. Lynn contacted me back right away. I told her I wasn't available by phone so she emailed me several pictures and even a video of the interior and exterior which was really helpful. We made an appointment for the following day. She told us she would not be in but put us in touch with her partner Bob. He met us when we arrived and took us on a fabulous test drive through some gorgeous countryside that allowed us to really put the vehicle to the test. Lynn followed up with us by phone when she got back in the office a few days later to make sure it all went smoothly. All in all, a great experience.

When I showed up at Mazda of Gladstone, I was greeted promptly by Alex. Of course, every salesperson is "friendly," but I particularly appreciated Alex's balance of professionalism and authenticity. He was easy to relate to and to communicate with, and I felt like he wanted to find the best fit for my needs rather than push his personal agenda. It's difficult for me to make and receive phone calls because I work in retail, so manager Charity was more than happy to answer my questions via email. I appreciated her responsiveness and "down-to-earthness." Unlike some other dealerships I've communicated with via email, she didn't seem annoyed or put off that I wanted to communicate primarily via email. This is important, especially as more and more people will want to communicate this way. I don't understand why more dealers don't understand this and instead act exasperated when I return their phone call with an email (especially after I'd told them I couldn't take phone calls). Charity never seemed put out to communicate over email. She was patient and responsive and answered all my questions without passing me off to someone else or waiting a full day to reply, etc. I never had to send a followup email to make sure she received my email, because she always replied in a timely way. Alex was happy to communicate by text, which was also helpful. He followed up with me in just the right amount--checking in periodically but not calling and texting every single day. Ultimately, I didn't buy a car from this dealership because I ended up going with a different make of car altogether, but Alex and Charity spent a lot of time with me and always provided great service. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a Mazda in town. I've communicated with the Mazda dealerships in Northeast Portland and in Vancouver WA and they were not as responsive and easy to communicate with as Charity and Alex at Gladstone. Having lived on the east coast, I'm pretty particular when it comes to service and have high standards--especially relative to the norm in Oregon. It's not often that I write a review, especially a positive one, so the fact that I took the time to do so for Charity and Alex speaks highly of their great service. Thank you.

Sunday Oct. 18, we met with Lynn Sanchez and she was fun, she explained all the new features about the Mazda 6 Grand Touring model. The test ride was great, she had a fun route for showcasing the Mazda's handling. She answered all of our questions and when she another appointment she introduced us to Bob who went with us on another test drive of another car.My wife and I would recommend them to future customers. Our family visited Lynn after initiating a phone call regarding interest in a Mazda3. We had a very specific goal in mind regarding our trade in, car to purchase and payment per month. I went through Costco Autosave Program. Lynn was able to get the car I wanted close to the price I wanted to pay. I just wanted to purchase the cargo tray and cover for the Mazda Sport CX -5. When she asked me about purchasing 1 package, I said no and she then did not ask about any other packages. Price was fair from my research and they are pet friendly and not pushy. Drove from Salem where I felt the dealership was pushy and inappropriate. If you want a car at a fair price and not having packages pushed on you, go to Mazda of Gladstone and ask for Lynn.

We recently purchased a CX-5 from Mazda of Gladstone. Our search started online with Manny helping us (with backup from David and Charity). Manny also helped us with our first test drive. After we had refined our search down to two vehicles over the next week, Emileigh did a fantastic job with another test drive. Once we decided on the CX-5, Carmen went above and beyond with walking us through the lot to find just the right vehicle at the right price, walking us through the paperwork, and getting out the door with our new purchase. The entire Mazda Gladstone family worked together along the way to make sure we got what we needed. While various options and services were presented, there was no heavy-handed pressure to choose any particular option or add-on, and we did add a service contract. As someone else noted, the building is showing its age, but that doesn't stop them from doing a good job. We'll keep our fingers crossed for everyone at the dealership in regard to their new facility.

My internet search for a 2016 Mazda Miata put me in touch with sales people from several dealerships. Lynn, at Mazda of Gladstone, was the only one who told me, upfront, that all of the stores were adding a "market value adjustment." of $5,000 to the MSRP, and that it could take 120 days before I had the car! The Market Value Adjustment put a 2016 Miata out of my price range, but I went online and searched Lynn's inventory for a used Miata. When I went in to buy the 2009 MX-5 that was on the lot at Mazda of Gladstone, Lynn, and her colleague, David, were honest, respectful, and enthusiastic about my purchase. When I get ready to trade up to a new Miata, I will take my business back to Lynn!

She answered all my questions on line and kept me informed on every question I had. I had a specific car in mind when I contacted the dealership and they found it at a "sister store" when it was not on their lot. They were responsive and did not try to talk me into a car I did not want. Prompt service and being flexible with their schedule was also helpful. Lynn was friendly, informative, and personable. She wanted me to understand how specific features worked before I drove off the lot with my new car. She followed up with a check in after I purchased the car. It's my first car purchase in 15 years -- I've been happily doing my part for the environment in pedestrian-friendly Portland -- and I couldn't have asked for a better salesperson than Bob Grieg. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and inspired trust. He had a great loop in in his back pocket for the test drive, and was able to answer all of my questions. When I wanted to browse the available models on the lot, he let me do so without hovering or trying to sell anything. All in all, a great experience.The dealership building itself is a little dingy, but Bob tells me they're renovating next year, which will be welcome. The one frustration in the experience was the time it took to have my car detailed before I could drive off the lot -- I had been there all afternoon, and I was ready to go! Certainly not Bob's fault, but perhaps a little more attention to the post-sale process would be good.Everyone I dealt with was polite and friendly, and there was a minimum of high-pressure salesmanship. Highly recommended.

I had been researching the Mazda CX5 for years and had compared the vehicle to 5+ other competitors. This car had the combined interior/exterior that I was looking for as well as the safety/reliability reviews at a fair price. It had been 10 years since purchasing a new vehicle so I knew what I wanted and I did my homework. I went through the Costco program as I do not like to haggle. I'm still not sure if I got the best deal but I probably saved hours of time negotiating the price so I would do it again. Costco sent me to Gladstone Mazda. They reached out to me immediately following my inquiry. The dealership had an extensive inventory with every color combination imaginable. I was disappointed that none of the vehicles come with a light interior, the only option is all black or black with parchment (light) seats which looks a little funky but I just didn't want an all black interior vehicle. Julio was the sales rep that worked with us. He knew the vehicle and he took his time with all of the questions that I asked. We took a long test drive to test out the features and he was very relatable. I hate the pushy sales routine and it was refreshing to not have that happen during the test drive. The only time I felt pushed was once we began the paperwork process and some of the up-selling began with the protective coat, etc. What would have been an excellent review fell to above average. In the end the dealership found the exact car I had asked for and they had it sent to the dealership. Financing was typical, the first offer was way to high. I had to state exactly what I was willing to finance and how I was going to do it and then they came right back and did so. The extended warranty process was also typical as the quotes continue to be put in front of me based on the monthly payment. I repeatedly asked what the total price was so that I could determine if it was worth my money. They also had no paperwork that I could take away with me outlining the extended warranty options and stated it would come in the mail (after the fact). It would be a huge improvement it they could at least provide a high level hand out of each plan. The vehicle was ready with the add on features a head of schedule which was great. Manny worked with us when we picked up the vehicle and he was very personable and knowledgeable. He walked through the warranty, the manuals and he sat in the car with us and provided a detailed demonstration of all the bells and whistles (he also set up my phones on bluetooth). If I were buying another vehicle I would go to Gladstone Mazda again. I would be happy to work with either Julio or Manny. I've yet to work with the service department but at the time of sale they did do an introduction to the service department which was a nice touch.

Honestly if it wasn't for Lynn Sanchez and Bob, I don't know what we would have done. We had a special circumstances that were a high needs situation. We needed a car fast and we knew what we needed and what we could afford. Gladstone of Mazda listened and worked with our circumstances and didn't pressure us into anything. Such great service, and everyone was so nice. Seriously they will take care of you, again Lynn and Bob did so much for us. I almost felt like it was to much to ask, but they didn't make us feel ashamed of anything for our circumstances. Great dealership and worth your time.

I am embarrassed to admit that when I first started my search 2 months ago...Lynn contacted me. I ignored her. (BAD ME!!) Then, when I did decide to contact her it was after hours and she even responded. Then, I went in the next day.....anxiety uh oh! This is my first time buying a car and I am happy that I purchased my Mazda 3 hatchback from Lynn. All of the staff are friendly, patient, and understanding. We met the Manager David, and talked with some of the Mazda Techs and encountered other staff. Outstanding service! Lynn will take care of you!!! This whole buying a car process is overwhelming for me.They made the buying process simple for me and made sure I understood everything. If I asked 20 questions, Lynn would answer them! ;) I have anxiety (it started to kick in & I didn't tell anyone)...right away Lynn addressed my anxiety to make sure that I was comfortable, and if I needed fresh air, another drink or needed to talk things over with my good friend (who happens to be a Certified Mazda Tech) who has been car shopping with me for the past 2 months. - The car is in excellent condition. I am super excited about my new (used) car!!!! Keep in mind Lynn has done a test drive with us; my mechanic/friend, we looked over carfax, talked with the other Certified Mazda techs, and met the Manager there....We told them we really like the car, BUT we had one more car to look at down the road at another dealer. They said sure, we don't want you to buy something you are not going to be happy with (they understand purchasing a car is a huge cost and might take time for someone to find the right one or within their budget)..After visiting the other dealership we were back In about 15 minutes later talking with Lynn :)Pleased to say I am truly happy I went to Lynn and Mazda of Gladstone...I found my car :)I can tell that Lynn cares about YOU! ~ Amy

I have bought a few cars in my lifetime. However only once have I met such a incredible sales person. I felt no pressure to buy, I gave Lynn many reasons for her to help someone else and yet she stood by me the entire way, letting me feel that I was all that mattered. She never gave up on all my desires over the phone and reassured me that what ever I needed in the car she would do her best to get exactly what I was trying to find. I have never had a more enjoyable time in a car dealership. I did get the car I was looking for and Im having a blast driving it. On a personal note Lynn was so kind to sit and listen to all my family issues and even stayed well past closing to make sure I understood everything about the car I was buying. Even though she was concerned for me and my car buying experience, her daughter did call and Lynn even asked me if it was ok if she could take the call. Lynn Im proud of you, and how hard you have worked for your family. Customers may be #1 but in times family is always first. Looked everywhere for a white 2wd CX-5 touring with Bose/moonroof package and told other dealers what I was looking for as to speed up my search. Mazda of Gladstone found the exact car that day!I secured the car with a $200 refundable deposit and drove 4 hours to Gladstone, both the wife and I took a lengthy test drive and took the plunge. Manny was both very helpful and knowledgeable about the car which made it that much easier to do business with them.Bought the car using Mazda financing. Dealing with their financing department was very plesant, easy, and quick. Another great thing about Mazda of Gladstone is that they never once tried to push dealer extras or add-ons, sure they mentioned them once and I told them that I was interested in any of that and that was the last I heard of it.Overall, very plesant car buying experience.

I hadn't purchased a new car in about six years. And truthfully I wasn't looking that forward to it. I had never used the Internet to buy a car and I thought I'd start there. I had five or six cars in mind and made inquiries to the appropriate dealerships using the Edmonds.com service. I was shocked at the number of emails, texts and phone calls that I received in response. One of the people that contacted me was Lynn Sanchez from Mazda of Gladstone in Gladstone, Oregon. Lynn's voicemail sounded professional and friendly and not at all pushy , which I don't like. I had a bit of an unique situation in that I I live in Michigan , was working in Los Angeles but I wanted to buy my car in Oregon to take advantage of Oregon not having sales tax. I own a second home in Portland so ii needed to use that address to register the vehicle. During my first conversation with Lynn I felt very comfortable. I explained to her what my needs were in a vehicle and then went over the special requirements of my purchase. Lynn didn't miss a beat. She knew exactly what trim level and packages that I needed to have the vehicle equipped the way that I wanted. And in regards to my special needs to purchase the car, she was able to tell me what proof I needed to provide and gave me the proper forms to fill out in order to avoid the sales tax. I explained to Lynn that I planned to fly from Los Angeles to Portland and she was sweet enough to offer to pick me up at the airport and drive me to the dealership. After picking out the vehicle I wanted and having my credit app approved, we were good to go. Within a few days, I flew to Prtland, Lynn picked me up as promised and within a few hours I was driving my new CX-9 back to Los Angeles. I can't stress enough how helpful Lynn was during this entire process. She's a very nice person as well as being a great salesperson. She made a potentially complicated situation easy and even enjoyable. Lynn has contacted me several times after my trip to Portland just to make sure that I'm still happy with my CX-9. I'll always have good feelings about buying this car and it's all because of Lynn.

I recommend this dealership for a fair and professional experience. The entire staff works very hard to get their customers a good deal on a car, fair trade in, and acceptable interest rate. I worked with Lynn Sanchez who really takes pride in her work and really cares about helping people get into a car. I went into Mazda of Gladstone a year ago to trade in my Accent because of high interest rate and the dealer from whom I purchased the car had lied to me stating I could refinance my car with a much lower interest rate after a year with the finance company. Mazda of Gladstone finance department, sales manager, and Lynn Sanchez tried so hard to help me but where unable. They were very upfront and explained the situation to me. They left an good impression with me and this is why I came back a year later. Lynn works the internet sales department. I got a hold of her through their internet website and basically worked through emails and a few phone calls to strike a deal on a car, including financing. I brought my trade in to them for a fair price and signed papers.

We were able to negotiate and finalize the price over the phone with Lynn Sanchez prior to arriving at the dealership . From there Manny Vargas showed us all the features of our CX-5 and although he offered the usual "extras" such as paint protection, etc, he was not the old school pushy salesperson we many times expect at a auto dealership . Because of this alone, I would definitely do business with them again .

This was our first new car purchase in the last 12 years. As Manny informed us, cars are now rolling computers on wheels. Where we expected hard sell, with Manny we experienced a relaxed, calm introduction and test drive of our new car. He took the time to show us all the advanced features of the Mazda 3 so we felt very comfortable with our new purchase. The only reason we did not give the dealership 5 stars is that the dealership seemed a bit dated and in need of a new look. We noted that they have started renovating the service section, so can the sales section be far behind?

My wife and I were pretty fresh out of a bankruptcy and in dire need of a good family vehicle. We shopped around locally where we live (myrtle creek) and found a few nice ones but when we sat down to figure our interest and payments they were way out of the price range we were comfortable being in. For a 2012 camry with 12,000 miles on it they told us our payments would be 534.00 a month at 26% interest. Frustrated we left and decided it wouldn't hurt to call to Gladstone where a relative bought a car to see what they could offer. I spoke with Manny and explained our situation and he said he would see what he could do for us and get back to us. After a couple back and forth calls asking what we liked/wanted he said they could get us into a 2015 mazda3 for 269.00 a month at 5% interest! We could not believe we could get such a good deal and expected it wouldnt be the case after driving 3 hours to get there,but it very much was! Manny was absolutely amazing to work with and very helpful and true to his word,we drove off the lot with our brand new car. We highly recomend Gladstone they were great and.have called a few times to check and see how the car was,very pleased with our experience!

I enjoyed working with Mazda of Gladstone, particularly Manny Vargas. They had great inventory with several choices of color for the model and make I wanted, and they we very responsive over the phone and via email. Manny was great to work with - he was definitely the most laid back and least pushy of all the salesman I talked to. The buying process was about as easy as could be expected, and when I had questions about the contracts I was signing they were answered immediately in layman's terms.

I recently purchased a used Tribute from Mazda of Gladstone. So far, I am happy with this vehicle. I feel some security about this purchase because they serviced the vehicle prior to the sale. I have a copy of the work done and I have a copy of the CARFAX. While I understand that I purchased this vehicle "as is" I believe that the dealership is concerned about public perception of their business, so I assume that they will make an effort to make sure that I am a happy client should a serious problem arise. As far as customer service -it's a dealership, there was a certain amount of pushiness, but that's the business of car sales.
