Scheduled a test drive for a car told them I was willing to purchase online without the test drive but the rep wouldn't do it. Explained that I was driving from Minneapolis and she said not to worry. Gave me a confirmation number and and thanked me for my business. Got in my car Friday morning for the 350 mile drive to Peoria, about half way there I called as I was going to be early got the sales manager and he told me they sold the car. I asked them how that was possible as I had a confirmation number to come for the car. He apologized and said he sent me two emails which wasn't true I checked my email multiple time including the junk folder. I explained I was halfway there and they could have called me to let me know they didn't even attempt. Not happy at all out 5 hrs and a tank of gas. Will never do business with them and wouldn't recommend anyone else either. Just glad I called when I did or I would have been out far more.

I have a 1998 Lexus Gs400 with approx. 94,000 original miles. It looked better than most new cars under the hood. I always kept it clean as possible, all the alloy parts shined like new and no rust either. I took it in for a basic routine timing belt replacement, and when I got home and popped the hood my heart literally sank to the ground. The engine bay area and motor was totally trashed. It looks as if they sublet the job to a backyard flunky mechanic. grease, black dust and strange spots splashed all over. Before when you looked at the engine bay, you would say "Wow! sweet, thats clean!" Not now, probably looks worse than one with 300,000 miles on it. I just cannot believe my eyes. I would think that when you work on a car it would at the very least be returned in the same condition as when it was brought in. It is so bad that I am afraid to even let them try and make it right. It was quite obvious that I was an owner that takes pride and care in his Lexus. The condition it is in now is plain unacceptable. This is my reason for a one star rating. The staff I worked with personally were fine, but the bottom line and the finished result turned out to be the worst thing I could have ever done to my car after 18yrs. I am at awe. If by some miracle it get rectified I will happily change this review.

Thom, Jason, Colleen and Morgan Fandel were very knowledgeable about their products and made our first time buying experience with Lexus an enjoyable one. They went above and beyond to make sure we wouldn't be without a car. My husband and I went in to purchase the 2016 nx200t sport but also walked out with a 2015 rx350!!! The deal they gave us was very good so we bought both. Thumbs up to a wonderful dealership. Highly recommend.

I purchased a LS460 from Tom Van a little more than a year ago. Even though this was the first car I have ever purchased from Lexus of Peoria and also from Tom, I felt like I had known Tom for years. Tom is very knowledgeable but doesn't talk down to his customers. He makes me feel at home and at ease. I have been back several times for service on my car. Tom always greets me by name and with a genuine smile and warm hand shake. I have been a district manager in the wireless retail industry for more than 20 years. It is very difficult to impress me. Lexus of Peoria, and Tom Van impress me.

The general sales manager Bill Morton, the sales consultant Thom Van, and product delivery specialist Jenessa Koehl all contributed to my ultimate car shopping experience. All are enthusiastic about the Lexus products and rightfully so. I shopped at other dealerships and none could compare to the friendly knowledgeable staff at Lexus. I test drove several vehicles before making my final decision. I never felt pressured and the staff was very patient with me while I went through the decision making process.

The beginning of the Lexus of Peoria experience starts at the front desk, and the women working there could not be more gracious on the phone. They make a great first impression for the dealership. We worked with Jaymie Stahl on the purchase of our car and had a really good experience. Jaymie was so pleasant and did not pressure us to make a decision. When a car we were considering was loaned out, Jaymie and Victor did their best to get the car back in for us. Jaymie even brought the car that we were buying inside to protect it from hail! Colleen did a great job with the finance end and was able to get us a credit for a warranty purchase that we had made. Jenessa spent a lot of time with us explaining the workings of the car and even offered to come to our house if the garage door opener wouldn't work. We then brought the car back in for Simonizing and had such good care from Rodney. It was so nice to be provided with a loaner car for the day without having to request one. Even though the car we bought was pre-owned and not brand new, we received great treatment from everyone throughout the purchase. And, of course, all of the refreshments in the waiting area are an extra nice touch! Since the purchase, we have received several follow-up calls to make sure that we were happy with the service. This is our first Lexus purchase, and we are not used to such pampering from a dealership. Very nice!

Our salesperson was Noelle Pisano. This lady knew her cars and paid attention to what we were looking for. Our experience was not of someone selling us a car but of us buying one. She explained every option and we made our choices. This was a one afternoon of non-stress car shopping. Yesterday we got the deal done and I planned to travel over Saturday morning, look at the car, do the paperwork and make arrangements for delivery only to find out he sold the car last night without letting me have first right of refusal. What is up with these guys? Gentlemen agreements mean nothing anymore. Pissed

I recently bought a 2011 Range Rover from Lexus of Peoria. It was a great experience. Tom Wombacher the Internet Sales Manager was a pleasure to work with! It was not the normal car buying hassle. While there are other stores to choose from and some had offers which looked attractive Lexus of Peoria made us feel like part of their family. In the end their deal was the best. We drove up from Springfield because of an ignition key issue due to a local ignition repair. Kyle was so helpful and has won me over as a new costumer. I have had my Lexus serviced locally and have not been happy with them. I had no idea that this dealership would come to springfield and pick up my car and leave a replacement. I will definitely use the Peoria Lexus for my future needs!

Flew in from out of state and they had somebody at the airport to pick me up. Outside of them having the vehicle I wanted this dealership was typical-easy buying process and goodbye. My salesman Tom Wombacher had a very pedestrian knowledge of the vehicle. He did explain he's more versed and has a greater knowledge of the new vehicles. My biggest disappointment with the follow up after the sale. The vehicle was owned by a mechanic at the dealership and came with just one key-I was told the mechanic had the second key at home and Tom would follow up-never heard from Tom. Called Tom and he said he would check into it and call me back-no phone call back. Followed up with Tom yet again-this time around 6:00 in the evening and he said he would check with the mechanic and get back to me- 8:45 the next morning I got an email from Tom stating the mechanic hasn't found the key. A new key through lexus will cost a little bit but this was more an insight of them following through AFTER the sale-watch the promises and don't offer them the benifit of the doubt. This was such a small thing I figured I'd get a phone call two days later claiming they couldn't find it but for it to go unaddressed was annoying. Mechanically the left caliper went out within the first 30 days-I can't say this was defective before the purchase. Started to see progressively more brake dust on the wheel-took it in to get serviced and the caliper was locked up. Again this is most likely just strange timing.Tom and the staff are all nice people but there are plenty of places available with nice people who can offer the same service. I prefer the places that go above and beyond expectations.

I have thought long and hard about what I want to mention in this review as I want to make my point as clear as possible. I am 55 years old, and I have never in my lifetime had such a great experience with service as I recently did with this Lexus dealer. I am from Springfield, IL, my Lexus is a 2001 RX300. The first time I ever had problems with my car was just last month. I was advised by someone at a car shop in Chatham that I should take it to a Lexus dealer or a dealer that works on Lexus here in Springfield to get it fixed, I choosed Springfield as I thought it would be more practical since it was closer - that was the worse and most costly mistake I have done. After paying thousands of dollars getting my car fixed at this place in Springfield, I had more issues with it, - more things were wrong as soon as I started my car to take it home. What a nightmare! I called Lexus in Peoria (which what I should have done in the first place) talked to Rodney Shoop and Kent Mariman. Lexus in Peoria arranged someone to pick up my car here in Springfield and left me with a 2013 RX350 to drive while they looked at my car, and fixed it within a timely matter. People, if you have a Lexus and need work done on it, CALL LEXUS IN PEORIA before you even think about attempting to have it worked on in Springfield. I'd like to thank Rodney Shoop and Kent Mariman for listening to my frantic phone call, Casey and Rodney for working on my car, Vanessa Purnell for arranging to have my car picked up, Beth Franklin for calming me down during my panic attack, Rich for picking up my car, Max for delivering my car back to me, and especially RODNEY SHOOP for taking care of all my car issues and listening to me and keeping me informed the whole time my car was in Peoria. Trust is important and I trust these people to take good care of my car. So, to all you people who live in Springfield, Il that have a Lexus and don't want to take their car to Peoria because it will put miles on your car, ( I've heard this excuse from several) - GET OVER IT, my car has close to 100,000 miles on it and drives just as nice as the day I got it in 2001,- Thanks to Lexus in Peoria, and Rodney Shoop! My advice is to get your car fixed right in Peoria and don't waste your time and more importantly your money in Springfield, IL.

Christie in service was nice, but not knowledgeable. I asked her what I had done on my car previously and she was unable to interpret what was in the computer. Also I specifically gave her my work number as well as cell and explained that I don't get cell service in my office so if she didn't reach me on my cell to call my office. She left a message on my cell and did not attempt to call my office so I got her message when I left the office at 6:45 PM after service was closed. when I got to the dealership she did not leave the paperwork for anyone so I had to leave my credit card number so it could be checked out the next day, so I don't actually know what I was billed yet. The receptionist in the main lobby was very nice and as helpful as she could be. I would go back to the dealership, because it is the only Lexus dealership in our area, but it is far from superior. I have been to other Lexus dealerships and they are more professional. Some decent magazines in the lobby would be nice also. Most of them are sports maagazines.

I was quite pleased and impressed that I was advised that I did not yet need service I hdd requested. I try to be proactive in maintaining my 2007 RX350 and on a recent service visit asked that the transmisison fluid be replaced. After checking the records and the condidtion of hte vehicle, the advior told me that the service was not due yet and felt that I should deter until a later service vist.

I recently bought a preowned Lexus from Lexus of Peoria. I live in the northern suburbs of Chicago, about 3 hours away from the dealership. My salesman (Tom Wombacher) was excellent. Because I was not local, Tom performed a "walk-around" of the car with me on the phone to describe any scratches or other blemishes on the car. Also, we negotiated the price for the new car and my trade-in over the phone. I even was able to apply for financing on their web site prior to making the trip. When I got to the dealership, the new car was exactly as described, the price was exactly what we had agreed upon, and the financing papers were already filled out. I just inspected the car, test drove it, signed the financing papers, and drove home. It was that easy. I can't say enough good things about this dealership.

Had a flat tire on Saturday 2/11/12. Dealer did not have the replacement tire for Lexus IS 350 2011. Had to come back 2/13/12. Noticed a new dirty spot at the ceiling of the car (new since visit, probably technician tried to open the roof and touched the ceiling with dirty hand). Dealer tried to remove it with carper cleaner. Unsuccessful.

Not only did the dealership find my new IS 250 AWD for my lease renewal, but was able to reduce my lease rate using tax credits. They also waived 2000 miles over my lease agreement and provided the new glass coate protection for free, saving us about $1200. Now that is customer service that drives continued loyalty!

When I first arrived I told the salesman,Paul Mihelic that I was looking for a new SUV but wanted to drive several different models to see what I liked best.He was more than willing to assist us pointed out all the features of the RX 350 and took us on a test drive.As we tested other vehicles and eliminated them we returned several times and Paul was always willing and helpful.When we finally settled on the Lexus he found us a vehicle that was exactly what we wanted.I appreciated his patience with us and that he did not pressure us to make a premature buying decision.I also found Terry their Finance Manager a real pleasure to work with.He explained all the extras that were available,but I did not feel pressured to be "upsold".I have purchased many new cars with various dealers all over the state of Illinois.I would rate this the best buying experience I have ever had.

The car BEST experience ever!!! As I reflect back on it more--the best deal I have ever gotten on a car as well! A pretty good combo!!We got a great car, at a great price, without a single moment of that all too common creepy car dealer interaction/discomfort. Tom was geniunely friendly, helpful without being pushy, and efficient without giving us that bums rush feeling. I could not be more happy with the whole deal. Our family has owned our Lexus for several years. In comparison to experiences we had with other car dealerships, Lexus of Peoria continues to display outstanding customer service throughout the entire life cycle of owning a vehicle. When purchasing our car, we were greeted with kind, professional employees who showed knowledge of the products. During routine maintenance, the service center facilitated loaner vehicles and notified us in a timely manner of when the car would be ready. Again, employees working in the service center were knowledgeable and extremely professional. When dealing with a warranty issue several years after owning the car, the service center managed all aspects to ensure costs were covered and parts were orderly quickly. A loaner was provided while repairs were made. The importance here is the loaner was a brand new 2012 vehicle. An excellent sales concept and fantastic opportunity for a customer to try out the new models. Lexus of Peoria enters into a relationship with their customers-something they take very seriously. The Lexus product and service allows owning the vehicle to be completely worry free.

They had a vehicle in their lot that I've been really searching for far and wide. This one had low miles; 1 owner, and a perfect set price. So I submitted my email with all my information. Though I never got any calls from this place. So I came back on this site to see if it was still up and it was, so I re-sent my information to them. Then I get an email about a week or two later saying this car was in the process of being sold and that they'd let me know if the sale doesn't go through. They did and sale was finalized but that's all they left me with.

Our experience at Lexus of Peoria was great. I worked with Thom Van for almost 11 months before I purchased the car. Thom always stayed in contact while I was considering a Lexus and was never pushy. He let me work through the decision, but was always available if I had a question. I had a car to sell privately and Thom helped me with a reasonable asking price. Thom also did an excellent job in showing us all the features of the care before leaving the car lot. All in all, of over 40 years buying cars, Thom was the best experience yet with a car salesman.Jerry Gilbert, the finance guy, was also very good to work with. He carefully explained his calculations, the various extended warranty and other options, and did so while being cognizant of our time spent.The dealership, overall, was great to work with. The only bump in the road was that the car was not ready when we arrived. Apparently there was a misunderstanding between sales and service as to the day we were picking the car up. Minor problem as it was fixed as soon as possible.

We were treated with respect and courtesy throughout our process. We originally looked and drove a Lexus in June but wanted to wait until closer to the next year models to purchase one. We were never pressured into buying before we were ready. When we did return (without an appt.) we were greeted with eagerness and thoroughness. Once our vehicle arrived every effort was made to insure we knew all the perks of our purchase. We really appreciated the service received.

Excellent dealership, excellent car. Looked at BMW, but Lexus service, overall feel of the dealership blew them away. We have had 3 Lexus before, but thought about changing. However, we have never had anything but outstanding experiences with Lexus of Peoria over the years so decided to stay with a sure thing.

I was ready to drive to Chicago to purchase my next RX Suv because of the dealerships previous reputation of not working with buyers on price, even when we could drive 2.5 hours and save 3-4 thousand for comparable vehicles and many more inventory choices. I thought I would give them a chance, not expecting to get the price that was negotiated online from a Chicago dealer. Lucky for me Ginger met me with much enthusiasm and told me they have a new sales manager who is flexible and I should give them a chance. So I did, and was elated with the vehicle I purchased and the above and beyond service I received! my lease ended a couple of weeks ago and I always get so excited when its time to get a new car. I get to listen to some b.s. from a couple of salesman then get to listen to their life story then sit in finance for five hours and then find ten things wrong with the vehicle when I get home. BUT my friend told me to try out Lexus of Peoria and it was the easiest experience I hav ever had with a dealership. Jim was cooll he didnt ask me personal questions and did exactly what I asked, Finance was pretty quick compared to other places. Ovearll,I recommend Lexus of Peoria Kudos!

Service workers are very helpful, they fix my cars and if there is a problem they don't give me any trouble about getting back in the shop. The sales people are always willing to help if needed. Jim was unprofessional and extremely arrogant. I've been a long-time Lexus owner. I've purchased 4 vehicles from Lexus of Peoria, 2 from Toyota and 2 from Heritage. I've always had excellent service until the last several months. New management = sleazy snake-oil salesmen! It won't take long for other customers to come to the same realization. It's too bad that a very nice dealership is going down hill.
