All of the sales people and managers here are extremely helpful, even the finance manager. I would definitely recommend them and would not have a problem buying another car from them.

Those people are super trained and they know how to warmly welcome their clients. My first experience with them, specially with ERIC JENSEN was Great. Their service is awesome; they are super fast and super friendly. Their prices are really reasonable and affordable. I have NO regrets for the car I bought from them

It started with poor service on the telephone to set an appointment. I came early to my appointment and was helped promptly. Took a free ride to one mile away. My vehicle was ready 2 or 3 hours later. Charged me way more money than I expected. Which was at least 5x what the part cost. And the car wash sucked. I am disappointed in the experience I had and not only will I look elsewhere but I strongly advice you to do the same.

I stopped here on accident and am glad I did. The salesman and I shopped around, test drove a vehicle or two and I left as I was just beginning to look. I went to two other dealerships drove a few other cars and went back to Ken Garff Nissan for the no hassle no pressure atmosphere. He hooked us up with a great car for a great price.

They delivered a high quality vehicle on time at the price we agreed on with no surprises. There were no high pressure sales tactics and they listened to my expectations and delivered what I asked for.

I ran out of gas at a restaurant, Sol Vander helped me and my baby. He went above and beyond to help someone he didn't even know. He helped me by getting a gas can full of gas. He wouldn't let me pay him back either. Goes to show he is a awesome and nice person at work , and in his everyday life. Thank you Sol Vander

Great people. Will was awesome, and I felt like I had a friend helping me buy a car, not just a salesperson. Not pushy! Really nice and will work with you to get what you want. No secrets or making deals with the manager behind your back. Face to face and personalized for me. Didn't walk away feeling like I made a mistake. Bravo to this location!!

Michael Rabbane is a pleasure to work with. He provided me with a car fax immediately upon arrival, had the car ready for a test drive, answered all my questions. He knows his Nissans! The actual purchase/transaction was quick and easy. This was the easiest, most efficient car purchase I've ever made.

Bought a 2012 truck and right away it has had major electrical issues. The local dealer has informed me that the system can be reset by taking the battery off for 10 minutes. It is clear to me now that that is what the dealer did before the test drive. I have called and left messages with my salesman trey and head salesman Ryan for the past 10 days. No one will call me back. I will never buy a car here again and advise anyone thinking of buy a vehicle to go elsewhere.

So to start this off I found a car online with Ken Garff. Worked things out for about a week before my wife and I made the trip. We had to drive from Idaho to Salt Lake. Once there we test drove the car and loved it. Everything seemed fine except for the daytime running lights not working. We asked to have those fixed before we left. Well, over 3 hours later of sitting there while our salesman kept disappearing we finally get the word that they don't have the lights there to fix it but they pulled the bulb out so we can go find them ourselves and they credited us $50 toward the light. Come to find out the service people pulled the turn signal bulb out instead of the DRL. So now we are on our way home with no turn signal. We took the car to our local dealership to fix the DRL and find out that the service team and Ken Garff didn't put all the bolts back in the fender well which could have caused it to fall off on the freeway. Not only did they not put all of the bolts back in they put NONE of them back in. It was being held in by a clip. So now I find that the DRL are on a recall which KG should have known as well. Very easy to look up. Go to get these fixed and find that the power steering line is leaking, the rear main seal is leaking and the torque converter seal is leaking. I called the sales manger 3 times and over a week later I still have not received a call back. Got in touch with their "Customer Service Advocate" and she gets me the inspection sheet. Which on the inspection sheet it says that they checked all of the above and that they passed. I asked her if a leaking seal passes and she said yes. How in the he*! do leaking seals and lines pass an inspection? It's now cost us another $1000 to get these things fixed and we still don't have our car back. The after the sale service is HORRIBLE and honestly our sales guy didn't know what he was doing either. I would never buy from Ken Garff again and I wouldn't recommend anyone else does either. They are crooked and shady and offer no help to fix the damage they have done and the extra money they have cost us due to their awful service department. DO NOT buy from these crooks.

We found a Pacifica at Ken Garff that we were really interested in. When we went to go check it out we learned that the car was scheduled to go to auction that day. They told us what we had to do to stop it from going and we did it. They were all so wonderful to work with, so upfront about everything and although we bought our car with cash, I would not hesitate to go back there to purchase another car even if it had to be financed.

I don't even want to give 1 star. By far the worse car buying experience. Lies from beginning to end, overpriced car, lied about financing, lied about fixing things under warranty. Dec 2012 I was online reviewing cars. Leaning toward the Hyundai for the warranty or Mazda. While online a chat box popped up, guy starts trying to convince me to go to Ken Garff NissanOrem. Claimed a promotion with Nissan a 540 score I would get a 0% interest rate for a current special. I work with credit and had just pulled my actual scores that day and was above that. At 0% the pmnt on a new car would be less than a used one. I stopped next evening to just look at the Altima. It was late & cold. A salesman who claimed war injury limped out to the car I was looking at. Took forever, limped back to get the key, limped back with the wrong key. It was to the Sentra. Convinced me to drive it, claimed more gas mileage, better pick up etc... as soon as he got in the car he wanted to "show" me how the navi system work & called his wife on speaker. She started crying "did you sell a car, what are we going to do for Christmas, are they going to fire you" said if he didn't sell a car that day he was getting fired, with half a leg blown off in Afganistan it was hard to get a job. Pressure! Went back in, in the car he said the car was about 18K that I test drove. Got in there, they pulled credit, half of a dozen sales mngrs etc.. started swarming, and changing out papers for typo's? I put 2k down, traded in a car another 2k (ripped off). But somehow ended with a loan of over 21K. My rate 12.99%. Called the next day, sales mgr said he would call Nissan and get it fixed, (they put me thru Cap One) that this happened before and it would take a few days to get it fixed. A few days later they claimed my score was 1 point too low. Refused to show me my credit report. Couldn't bring the car back because my 3 days passed (imagine that) but wait 6 months he promised he would get a better rate. 6 months later the car is upside down. I bought the car the saleman told me the warranty was the same as Hyundai. It is not, it is 35K miles and 60K on the trany. They lie about fixing stuff on warranty. I bought it, drove it one week (brand new 2013) went on a business trip for 2wks & came back and it wouldn't start 2 days later. Towed back, they had it for about 3 &1/2 wks, claimed the car was so new the part wasn't available. That ended up being a lie. Claimed they had to order a whole new steering column cause it was too new to get the part. Finally got it back. Also when I drove it off the lot the molding around the back door came mangled. 3 times called me to tell me the molding was in, I left the car and when I went to get the car 2x they said they couldn't find the part and the third time they forgot to do it! It is still mangled because I gave up. I took it in for service several times. Once at about 17K miles I took a recall card in on the air bags. service guy swore my car was not part of the recall and quote " they send those to everybody but your car is not one of the ones recalled claimed he checked. Brought it back in again a little later because the passenger side air bags always show off when someone sits in it. They claimed they fixed it. Called them, was told it wasn't wrong that is how Nissan shows it off when it really isn't. Took it in for oil change while under the very short warranty. told them airbag can't be right, shuts itself off when anyone sits in it & the gas tank seemed to leak if I filled it to the top & the transmission (goggle NIssan CVT transmissions) reved, and seemed to not be in gear once in awhile.. Picked it up, was told they couldn't get the trany to duplicate it. I doubt they tried. They didnt suggest any service on it when I ask them to check the transy. They did not touch the airbag, they didn't look at the gas tank and told me when I ask that there were no recalls on the car. Another lie. When the car hit 57K miles I took it back in the trany was still slipping every once in awhile and reving occasionally I could still drive it but it was not right and I had found out the warranty was not 100K miles. I parked it crooked in their lot. Exactly the same way and place I picked it up. didn't look like they moved the car. When I picked it up I argued, told them was worried it was going out and should be fixed under warranty. mechanic was on his way to Vegas PROMISED me I had brought this to their attn to keep driving they would TAKE CARE of me when it happened more. finally at 80K took it back, drove it in fine, had to tow it out. Recall on a prog in the tranny that they knew about the last time. claimed to fix it this time and the car has not run since. Towed it out. they now want 4k to fix. Tim Dahle wants 3k. Will take it to them when I find the money. Drove it in Towed it out.. looking for an attorney. negligent endanger my passengers for 3 years. Airbag, gas tank was recalled. multiple recalls were in place each time I took it in and they said there weren't any..

Good inventory. Good pricing. Straightforward negotiations. Friendly service. Responsive to questions, needs and issues. I would recommend the dealership and these employees. Love the Murano.

We purchased a Murano in 2006 and found the service and sales department to be professional and accomodating. The service dept. was seasoned and we were happy with the quality of workmanship. However, over the last five years the turnover in personel has been over 100% , which is always a bad sign. Had my car towed in and like most AVT transmissions of that age, it was toast, so I decided to buy rather than repair. I didn't want to buy there as I was no longer happy with the incompetence of the service department and found myself in a hostage situation in relation to my Murano. I couldn't get a straight answer about how to move forward. Knowing that I didn't have another car they were not negotiable about new car prices and almost adversarial about negotiating. Wish I had left my car in my driveway! I didn't need anyone to charge me to tell me it was the transmission as it was obvious! I had suspicions something wasn't right 11 months before when there was still some warranty and had to have it towed twice then for differential work?? But of course the warranty ran out by the time the transmission was toast. !!

I bought a vehicle from these guys, and I am sorry that I did. The salesman was not particularly knowledgeable. Both the the salesman and the sales manager gave me some misleading information. I did what I was asked, but then they both played dumb, disavowing what they had told me, and did not stand by their word. I don't know if they ARE listening, but if they are, it is to help themselves, not the customer.

I traded in my favorite vehicle (it was getting old). They did not search their inventory for the vehicle I wanted (I found the perfect one a week later online that was in their inventory at the time of my purchase). I was pressured into taking the Jeep they had on the lot. I signed the deal, so the blame is ultimately on me. I will NEVER do business with Garff. I would recommend anyone to go anywhere else. If you like getting run around and double talk and high pressure, go here. If you want a fair deal and honest treatment, go elsewhere. Anywhere Else!

They aren't good for their word in my experience. That appeared to be back-stabbing and sneaky. If you succumb to buying from them do yourself a favor and have your lawyer look over everything with a fine tooth comb. Better yet avoid the mess and look elsewhere.

I buy Nissan sentra from Ken garff down town salt lake. I had a problem with lock system of car. When I was looking car the automatic lock and opening system did not worked. I askesd the agent and he told me that it is because of single jam, it happens sometimes in their premisses since they has a lot of vehicle . I trust him and buy the car. Some days after same thing happened. Sometimes it works but sometimes it did not . finally I went service center . the same dealer form where I bought the car. From the beginning, one guy I forgot his name but he used to work at reception of service centers . and he was a big guy, he was not in mood to listen me and provlem. I expalim him that my lock system is not working propperlty. It works sometime and some time it did not. After telling him this he asked me 4 times what is your problem and what you want to do. I had already told him my lock works sometime and it did not works sometimes. Each time I expalins him, he asks me the question so what I have to do? .... At last he told me that I have to bring my car there when lock is not working. Finally at last he told me that the lock system must be completely broken before I goes to them ignoring my problem of sometime working and sometime not working. Finally I will say that I was treated like a thief who's there to stel. His language, body expression and response was Howwwwwwww. No words to say. When I reached home the lock did not work again.. Now I am thinking to go other independent workshop to fix it. I am ready to pay for it even I have warranty from manufacturer because my car has driven less than 500 miles. I don't wanna treated bad again going there. It was my fault to buy car from them.

I bought a Nissan rouge in 2013 the car was fine I had only a few problems with it until resently I bought the extended warranty witch was 5years 75000 miles . I was returning home from a trip and I had some extreme power loss so I made an appt to have it looked at I was nearing 60000 miles so u would think it would have been free due to the warranty wrong they wanted 200 dollars just to hook there diagnostic machine up I had also planned to do the 60000 million people service which I was quoted over the phone at 251 dollars that morning when I got to the dealership they wanted 850 dollars so I traded in my Nissan that day to a VW Southtowne I will never recommend that anyone own a Nissan and if they do I'd stay away from ken garff Nissan I personally will never do business with them again

I will never buy a Nissan or ever return to this rotten place! Lets just start from the beginning. I bought a brand new nissan juke 2013 Last year. They re wrote my contract 2 times and it took them 2 months total. When I signed the contract the second time. They raised the interest rate high and told me its too late to turn back now because they sold my trade in ( I felt forced to sign it because my old car had already been sold and they gave me no other option) I signed it. Their sales men Daniel Jones (whom is no longer there) Kept my information on his phone! When he left Ken Garff he called me multiple times wanting to work deals because he had moved into real estate and I was in the mortgage business. WHAT KIND OF PERSON KNOWS THIS INFORMATION ABOUT MY JOB!!!! He kept my phone number and what I did as a profession SO WRONG! and to contact me outside of a dealership without my permission to have my number on his personal line! ABSOLUTELY NOT OKAY! I do not know what other information he has of mine but it is a complete invasion of my privacy and information! I had to call the Manager of the store to make him stop. I am disappointed that a sales men has my information to use for his own agenda. I am disappointed that they gave me no other option in a car and felt forced to sign with no way out. LETS MOVE ON TO MY FINAL COMPLAINT! I should have known better to not buy a Nissan. My father bought a 2006 Nissan frontier Nismo addition when it first came out. Right after the warranty to the transmission and pump went out.... But that didnt keep my from buying a nissan. My Nissan Jukes Transmission went out at 28698 Miles on it. Its 2 years old! It went out in parleys canyon!!!!! It lost all power and had to try and pull off the road going 5 miles an hour flooring it. I stopped all traffic to get over including semi trucks! The tow truck took an hour. They took me enterprise to get a car, and enterprise wanted to put 55 dollar hold on my card to take it..... UM i don't want anyone to have my information for something that is not my fault! Ken garff should have everything in their name! I am not happy what so ever!!!! I am a college student who bought everything I had into a new car so I would never have to worry about an engine or transmission problem. Yes, it is covered under warranty but the point of this is to not have this issue when you buy brand new! OHH and its been 3 days and I have not heard one word in regards to my car. I just want an update! I missed all my work functions because of this stupid car, and Missed my college classes.I have it my breaking point with this dealer ship and they will do nothing to make it right! I will never buy a nissan or use ken garff again. HOPE THAT SALESMEN WHO SOLD ME A PIECE OF CRAP CAR NEEDED THE MONEY...... AND SERIOUSLY PROTECT MY INFORMATION BETTER!!!!! Anyone know if I can sue?

After shopping around for 6 months for an Hummer H3, We went and test drove one from Ken Garff Nissan in SLC. All around great service. Stu in sales was such a pleasure to work with. He really helped make our dealership experience wonderful! Stu, Bill and Chris all made us feel welcome and confidant on the purchase of our H3. They took care of all of our concerns we had from financing to warranty. I would recommend shopping with these guys. They are honest and there was never ANY pressure to buy. I was so nervous about buying from a dealership, but these guys make a client for life.

After looking for two months hours upon hours My daughter suggested I look on line in Salt lake area. she said they have good prices. Living In Casper Wyoming well can just say the prices on vehicles are as to be expected HIGH to say the least. This was it my final day I was going to look. My mother not always being able to travel needed a car that she can get around in during the winter and summer. I looked on Ken Garff site and found the car. I thought well it is a long shot but I will try to see if I can get the paper work sent her sign it and I driver there and get the car for her. It work! The only problem was my mother got sick and could not travel. I could not make it there right way. I had to find some one to go with me, but I had to wait until the following weekend. They held the car for my almost a week and a half got the paper work was sent to my mother She signed it I drove 7 and half hours. On my way there I Received a call from Trey Pruitt which was the sales representative I had been dealing with making sure I was able to be there as I said. I informed him I was on my way. My internet on my phone was not working and neither was my friends. so I could not give him an exact location and how long it would be. He looked up as close as he could from the information gave him. He said he would have every thing ready on the car for me when I arrived. My dumb luck I was an hour off. When I finally arrived I waked into the dealership barley got Treys name out of my mouth and he was there. Very kind man. asked about the trip offered to get me and my friend something to drink. He had customers and was trying to deal with both. well after the long ride there of course I was interested in test driving the car. He handed the keys to me excused him self. let me do my thing and helped the other customers. My friend and I took off came back he was free to deal with me. He got me lined up with Bill Hadsell . Conversed with my friend while I took care of paper work. Giving him information on places to go eat and things to do while we were there. after the paper work was done Trey showed us everything he could about the features on the car and said If we had any Questions please feel free to call he would answer them at any time. the only problem we had was a screw would not come out for the licence plate and the shop was closed. Not his fault it happens. but told us that we could take it any where and they would cover the cost for fixing the issue on Monday. I will take it to get it fixed on tomorrow. Awesome Sales man to deal with. I will make that trip a gin no matter what state I live in to deal with him! Bill Hadsell I was dropped in his lap at at a last minute notice. He emailed me all the information to help my mother sign the paper work wile she is in another town with my sister. He FedEx the paper work to to her. He called to make sure we both received it answered all of my questions offered extra things. He called me several times to make sure I understood what was going on and was ready and informational on every thing. Signing the paper work was so easy with him. he gave me the time ti read through them and read through them with me. For once I was not over whelmed with what am I signing and what is going on. being left feeling like I got ripped off when I walked out of his office. Once the paper work was set aside he as well took the time out when I asked him about restaurants give me his opinion about a few places printed them off for me and showed my how to get there from our hotel. All I have to say about those two genital men Is thank you for such an awesome experience with salesmen. This is coming from experience of having a best friend that is a salesman himself has taught me a lot about who is there for just a job and who is there for the customer. As an matter of fact my friend is now as well thinking of going there to by a truck If I can find the right one for him! It was worth the travel all the way around!

Where to begin with my horrible experience at this dealership KEN GARF NISSAN? I couldn't believe I'm so eager to write a bad review for KEN GARF NISSAN AND ITS EMPLOYEES. Yes, the employees in SALES, FINANCE, AND EVEN THE HIGHER BOSS are not really helpful and It is really upsetting . I don't even want anyone experiencing and feeling the way I did when I was at the Ken Garf Nissan talking to people so MISTAKES THEY MADE could be talked about, but not solved to what would make me happy. I'm not going to tell the names of who I dealt with, and what car I had , and I'm not going on with the details of my problems with this dealership. It's just really bottom line here is that I'm not satisfied customer. I do not want to deal with this dealership anymore ever again. As you all can imagine as I just created this anonymous account just to express my unhappy concern with everyone who can see this. I REALLY HATED MY EXPERIENCE!!. I want everyone to think hundred times before even thinking of going into KEN GARF NISSAN, go to a different dealership instead and do not even waste your time, money and signature talking to any KEN GARF NISSAN EMPLOYEES, as they really do not know anything, and they are really not helpful. Do not buy a car from KEN GARF NISSAN DEALERSHIP DOWNTOWN SALT LAKE UTAH.

I took my 05 Murano to have it checked because I could smell oil burning off the engine. I stated to the service rep there was no oil burning from the exhaust and no oil dripping on the ground yet there was a smell of burning oil once in a while. A complimentary alignment inspection revealed the wheels were in need of alignment and they would do it for $90.00 while it was there which I declined. The technician told me I would need a new engine because the gaskets were shot and the oil rings were worn and the cost would be $10,489 I did not have the engine replaced as it was more than the vehicle is worth so we paid the $90 service fee. I took it to Les Schwab who said no alignment was needed. Now suspicious I took the vehicle to another mechanic They put dye in the oil and found that the leak was due to a faulty filler cap that was allowing oil to run down on to the engine. The gaskets and oil rings that the dealership said were ruined were in fact fine. This dealership is a fraud.

I have purchased many cars over the years and several from Ken Garff, The last three have been over the last three years. These experiences in particular have surpassed my previous experiences in terms of exceptional over all service. From stepping on the lot to driving away feeling completely satisfied about the way I was treated by the entire staff. Our sales person Trey Pruitt made a huge impact in our final decision to purchase our car and truck. He was kind, courteous and professional. He made us feel so comfortable through the process, never applying the "HIGH PRESSURE" from a sales rep that I have experienced at other dealerships, thanks Trey! We will be back! We hope you can assist us In the future. I have referred my daughter and a few friends to your dealership and they told me a similar experience at Ken Garff. I truly appreciate your honesty, integrity and straight forward way of doing business. Keep up the good work!

I recently purchased a new vehicle at Ken Garff Nissan. My salesperson, Greta O'Brien was amazing. She was patient, personable, and knowledgeable about the vehicle I bought (2014 Rogue). I was so pleased with my experience I shared it with a co-worker, and my co-worker purchased a vehicle with Greta's assistance too! Thank you so much for the positive car buying experience!!!

I would like to express the experience that I have had with this company and would NOT recommend them as they have been the biggest disappointment I have ever had.I bought the car as they said they would beat Tim Dahl hands down and THEY DIDN'T.They sold me a car that they never detailed and it had so many scratches that they had to actually repair. I took it in to get detailed with a list and reviewed the list and they only did maybe 3 out of the 12 that I had on the list so had to take it back again. They recommended I tape the areas so they wouldn't miss anything (REALLY GET REAL). They say they will call you and you never hear from them and if you do it is a day or two later.None of them seem to care if your happy or not.I would not recommend them and will NEVER buy a vehicle here again.

I ended up paying 3000 dollars more than what they told me, which I didn't find out until I tried to make my first payment. When I confronted them about it, I was told there was nothing they could do so I got stuck paying the extra 3k.

We bought a new Juke. Last year's model but it was new. Our experience with the saleslady was good, but the rest of the experience was awful. Part of the fault was my own, for being so gullible. The instant rebate and discounts they were offering verbally on this particular car turned out to be false, which I found out later when it came time to deal with Nissan Acceptance Corporation. We bought the car too casually, and now we regret ever going there. Also I had signed an extended warranty, and later we decided we didn't need it; and the financial guy wouldn't return my calls. Then I called Nissan to see if they could help. I finally went in and filled out a form for refusing the extended warranty and submitted it. Still no one bothered to call me back. But I kept calling and finally the receptionist returned my call, and I found out from her that they were going to cancel it, which they eventually did. Because of their attitude and their false presentation we will never do business with Ken Garff again.

I purchased a vehicle from these guys in September of 2013. It is now April of 2014 and I have already had to make repairs on this vehicle of over $1,000. I purchased this vehicle for approx $15,000. I should NOT have to make any repairs on a vehicle that I purchased for that much money less then a year after purchase. I went in for an oil change to the dealership with the AdvantageCare program - they then gave me a LIST of problems with my vehicle. Ones that I was NOT aware of at the time of purchase. When we purchased the vehicle, we tried to have them change the tires. At the time of purchase they were very low tread. They refused and would not help us with that. Tires were the first thing on this list that they gave me that need to be replaced. Stating that the back two required immediate attention. Nice. The vehicle also needs rotors, brakes, CV boot, alignment, shocks. I would like to know how this is fair. AT ALL. I called the sales manager and of course received NO help. Telling me "cars are like athletes, you just don't know when they'll give out". My mistake for not purchasing a warranty, but where we bought the vehicle for approx $15,000 - I didn't think it would be needed this soon.. Boy was I wrong. I have never had this experience with a purchase of a vehicle. I am a very dissatisfied customer. And Ken Garff could care less. The only positive thing that I have to say is that the sales rep that we worked with at the original time of purchase, was great. But what does it matter what the sales rep is like if the product they are selling is garbage.

Initially the vehicle we bought new from this dealership started having engine problems at 100,000 miles. We were always turned away. 15,000 miles later the engine seized and the reason given by their techs was impossible for several reasons, and i verified this other mechanics. This dealership then sidestepped the warranty they had sold us which was 200,000 miles and 10 years on the motor. Their reasoning was that we had done tires and suspension elsewhere than this dealership, after they had told us to do so. Overall we did pay them to put another motor in. This took almost two full months. After the fact the new motor was consuming as much or more oil than the old motor and so began over 6 months of constantly taking it to the dealership for no resolution. Included in this time period the dealership over filled and under filled the vehicle on standard oil changes. I also had to double check their work while i was there and immediately after. This all culminated in a 7 week wait for them to contact the engine company which they did not do until i had contacted corporate nissan.

Just like most car buying experiences...They are your best friend up until you have signed the last document. We recently purchased a used 2011 Rogue and traded in our 2008 Outback. There are some common sense things I feel one should not have to think about when buying a car from a larger dealership such as are there FOUR floor mats and not just only 3 included in the purchase? Apparently they only included 3 floor mats and told us we would have to buy a set (2) of floor mats if we wanted to have the 4th floor mat. I guess we should have been faulted because we bought a black car at night with black interior and clearly didn't see a missing floor mat. This should obviously be faulted to us the buyer. I also figured that included in the purchase would be a SET of keyS and not just a single KEY. However, once we signed everything, they handed us a single keythey did offer for us to buy the FOB and pay to program it *Thanks Ken Garff*. I meanwhen we traded in our Outback to them, we gave them all 3 keys and all 4 floor mats *You are welcome ken Garff*. I think in all fairness we should have only gave them one key and 3 floor mats and sold them the other two keys and one floor mat since they were so gracious to offer us to pay for a 2nd key. I would expect this kind of service from a low budget beater dealership but not a company who says they are above the rest. Its the little things Ken Garff that set you about the rest. The best part of the whole experience is that they seemed annoyed by us when we asked for the 4th floor mat. I'm embarrassed that I even had to ask for a 4th floor mat after they included 3 for us. The best part of the whole experience is that they seemed annoyed by us when we asked for the 4th floor mat and a 2nd key. I'm embarrassed that I even had to ask for a 4th floor mat after they included 3 for us. **Total cost to have a 2nd key $130.00**

Ken Garff Nissan's slogan is "we hear you" which makes it even more disappointing that they insist on practices that live up to the worst stereotypes of used car sales because it means that they heat that they are unscrupulous and they don't care to do anything about it. After purchasing a used vehicle and having a list of repairs and additions to the vehicle written into the sale, it took months of arguing and providing copies of their own paperwork to get them to follow through with their promises. To complicate matters, the lady who sold me the car was no longer there a week after the sale to stick up for what she promised and the sales manager quickly took an aggressive stance against me which was a shock considering I spent a long time trying to be understanding and assertive with them. The Service manager, Robert, seemed to be the only person who cared to provide customer service and he seemed frustrated with the sales team for their antagonistic attitude towards me because it ended up in his lap to try and smooth things over. However when it came to the last item on the list, to add 4 new tires of a specific make, the service department swapped my tires with a much lower grade tire and refused to take them back as I had driven off the lot with them even thought the person who I talked with when I picked it up told me that as they were closing I should just come back later with the car.So, if you for some reason have to purchase a vehicle from them, I recommend documenting EVERYTHING. They may pretend to be offended, but this is an act as they have proven that they don't really care. This means recording audio / video, ask for photocopies of everything, make sure that there is specific and explicit language about all the repairs and timelines for repair (including parts #s), ask them to agree to pay for any services they fail to provide in a timely manner if you bring your vehicle to a more reputable service center. What is really frustrating is that I had a decent experience up until the actual signing of the sales papers when it all turned negative. I tend to be a very loyal customer, and they seemed to work hard to make me not want to ever buy a vehicle from them again.

I wrote a review earlier; had bad experience with Gen Garff Nissan of Salt Lake City; not making it clear on my loan. This was back in, I believe, late May?In going back to the dealership I was able to get the extraneous warranties off of the loan. However, this was over a month ago and the $1500+ has still not been refunded. My credit union says they have not received anything from Ken Garff (and I have never had problems with my credit union so I believe them). I gave Ken Garff Nissan of Salt Lake AMPLE time to get it over to them! I have been sending daily emails to the finance person that worked on my sale now. I let it slide for at least 20 days, checked up on it, he said it would be 10 days, I waited at least 15 and now I am just going to keep sending daily emails. And, at that same time (late May), I also went back to get them to fix my A/C (only ran on high) and a slow leak in a tire (the latter of which was on the agreement to fix; the former having never been detected by myself until after I had purchased the car as-is). To make a long story short, I was told the fix on the A/C was to be $109 for the part and $150 for labor (because it would take at least an hour). I called my Chrysler parts contact (which was, I admit, the main reason I got a Chrysler), she was able to get the same part for me for $15.00 (that's right FIFTEEN dollars) and I found a video on line on how to fix it and my husband fixed it in, literally, 5 minutes. Literally, not figuratively. I was sitting in the driver's seat, trying to get directions on my GPS because I was about to go somewhere when he fixed it; literally 5 minutes and it was done. I saved $249! (Of course, with the warranty I had purchased and have STILL NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND FOR, this should have all been "free").The tire had a slow leak in an area that they needed to replace the tire. The service guys (seemingly begrudgingly) found the tire (because it was a Chrysler car with an unusual tire size) and replaced it. The car I purchased is 4-wheel drive; they should have replaced them all, but they couldn't or wouldn't; saying well, the other tires are still at 70% tread so it would be fine. I let it slide. If I were a dealership I would have covered all 4 tires. Believe me, karma bite back and better customer service will get one much further.Anyhow, still short $1500+ and will never go back to these guys again.

Just purchased a used car from Ken Garff Nissan Salt Lake City, UT. I am a little upset because it looks like the loan I took out was at least $3500+ more than what I expected AND I put $2500 down and this does NOT look like it is coming off the top of the loan like the finance guy said. So, all in all I paid about $6000 - $7000 more than what was expected? I AM NOT RICH - YES, I HAVE GREAT CREDIT BUT I AM NOT RICH AND DO NOT LIKE TAKING OUT LOANS. If I had a choice, I would not have gotten a car; I needed, not wanted, a car.Regardless, had I known that I would have spend that much, I would have gotten a better car!!! Don't get me wrong, the car is okay, but I was expecting to pay A LOT less. (And the low pressure tire warning light still keeps coming on! And the front windshield should be replaced for that price! Not just rock chips repaired! I purchased this car on the 25th of May.)So, basically, the loan was supposed to be a certain amount, what was asked of the bank was $3000+ over that and I still paid the $2500 out of pocket. What am I missing here? When I say I want to put $2500 down, this means TOWARDS THE PAYMENT (LOAN) OF THE CAR!!!!! Doesn't it? And the finance guy said it would go toward the loan, which looked to be still more than what I expected but should have gone $2500 down once done. Right? Wow, I feel stupid now. I bought it, hook, line and sinker and the finance guy did not make this clear to me. Kept pointing at things saying, "It is required by law that I tell you..." but didn't make it clear and, I DIDN'T ASK ENOUGH QUESTIONS. My bad. But, honestly, having been in Sales myself, I would have made things ABSOLUTELY clear and always did. I only asked, "Whoa, that's a big loan. But the $2500 comes off of that, right?". The answer was that it did. Guess I wasn't looking at the even bigger loan that I didn't see until later. And, when I looked at the papers I was asked to sign, the loan was about $2500 more than what I expected and was apparently to go down to a certain amount when the $2500 was taken out and I was okay with that (not happy, because it was still more than expected but I was "okay: with it; licensing fees, etc.). I should have figured it out when my debit card for the $2500 was run by Ken Garff, not the bank.Sorry I am a little gullible and possibly a little too trusting. Duh, but this is the FIRST time (and most probably the last time) I have gotten a car from a dealership. Should have stuck to buying from owners despite having to get the registration, etc. myself. Regardless, when I got the loan onto my computerized banking, it was, as aforementioned, $3000 more than what I thought and it doesn't look like the $2500 is coming out of that! What kind of friggin' tactic is that??? Is it because I said I was okay with my monthly payment being a certain amount? I would have been VERY happy if it were less! Again, I am not rich. If I was, would I be looking for a USED car? Anyhow, not cool, not happy and I probably cannot do anything about it because I signed the friggin' papers!!!!Greta was cool and serviced us to the best of her ability. I like her. Michael was supposed to be on my car sale but turned it over to Greta (assistant?). And the Finance guy seemed nice but was apparently deceiving. I've called twice now, left a message once and haven't heard back. If you want to go to Ken Garff, Nissan of Salt Lake City, UT I suggest you ask LOTS of questions and make sure you are getting the loan you think you are.

A friend of mine is moving out of the country and selling me her used Sonata. She didn't want to screw around with having to find a buyer and knew that I wanted a new car, so she got an offer from Ken Garff and then offered to sell it to me for $50 more. They had just recently looked the car over and found no problems with it, so I agreed to buy it. She brought it back in for one last check over, mentioned that she was going to sell to me instead of to them, and they suddenly found 4 "critical" problems totaling $1500 in repairs. I got a second opinion and found out that they literally made everything up, including one $800 repair, which involved replacing the timing belt. The only problem is that the V6 Sonata doesn't even have a timing belt. Other "problems" included urgently needing a transmission flush, despite the fluid being new and spotlessly clean, in addition to having a "critical" power steering fluid leak to the tune of $420, despite having been driven for 59,000 miles, never having had the power steering fluid refilled, but still being full of fluid, ie not leaking at all. Oh, and they wanted nearly $300 to replace the $40 serpentine belt (this takes less than 10 minutes to replace by a skilled mechanic) , which was found to be in perfect condition. I have heard of dishonest business practices by some car dealers / auto body shops, but this is by far the worst I have ever heard. Do NOT go to Ken Garff.

So we go to this dealer and get a great quote over the phone and we get there and they laughed and poked fun at us for trying to buy a new car that was like 18,000. They said that we were stupid for trying to get a new car because we were first time car buyers they were trying to sell us a used car that we didn't like and was also like $20,000. They were so mean and rude! We were there for over an hour and didn't get to test drive any cars because according to them we couldn't afford anything that they had! Horrible experience it almost seems to me that the reason they we acting that way was because my husband is half Hispanic and I am as well.

My wife and I purchased a used vehicle from this dealer in December and in the following six months have had to replace the engine, the oil pump separately, the ball joints, the tires, and parts of the drivetrain. I stopped by to advise them of all the problems two different times and all they would say is, "you bought it as is". No offer for any assistance or help in repairing all that has gone wrong on the vehicle. There suggestion was to trade it back in to them, knowing we would be upside down on the loan, clearly, and then to double our car payments and try a different vehicle. It would seem to me a company that claims they inspect all vehicles before they sell them would be embarrassed to have a vehicle with these problems out on the road with their name on it. As mentioned I gave them opportunity to fix this wrong and they avoided it .

My car buying experience at Ken Garff was like no other! Sam and Greta were incredible; they made me comfortable and never applied pressure to buy. They were patient and took the time to teach me all about my new Murano. Finally, along with Chris, they were able to beat any deal I was offered by the other dealers, including deals on pre-owned vehicles. Now I have a brand new Ken Garff Nissan Murano on a school teacher's budget, and I can't believe it. I would recommend them to everyone!

I recently spoke with Rhett Prows at Ken Garff Nissan of downtown Salt Lake City about marketing opportunities and mentioned that I needed to get my truck serviced when I went in to talk to him. Rhett completely took care of scheduling and following up on my service appointment without me having to lift a finger, which was very impressive for a GM to handle such a small task. When I went into Ken Garff Nissan last week for my first oil change on my new Nissan Titan (also purchased from Ken Garff Nissan) and to meet with Rhett about website related opportunities, I was amazed at their professionalism. Tyson in service was extremely kind and helpful in assisting me from the time I pulled up, until the moment I departed. I received a free oil change for being a Ken Garff customer and also asked them to inspect all of my aftermarket accessories that I had installed at the time of purchase and was not charged a dime for that either.I have nothing but great things to say about Ken Garff Nissan of Salt Lake City and will refer all of my friends and associates to their dealership because of their outstanding and professional service.

The process started off smoothly but went downhill fast. I have never had a car buying experience last 5 hours. Then to top it off, the check engine light came on the next day because they left the gas cap off when they put gas in it. However, when I called about it I found that they had also lost the gas cap and had to order one in, leaving me to have gas evaporate for 4 additional days. I feel beat up and bruised.

The high quality of professionalism displayed by Michael was exceptional. He was truthful and extremely helpful. He laid out exactly what was included in my purchase, even how much the dealership paid for it. He talked to me about additional insurances that was available to me, as well as giving me a print out of the CARFAX on the vehicle, which was reassuring of the quality of the vehicle. He examined the vehicle with me and any concerns or minor problems that I saw with the car he assured me they could and would be fixed at the dealership, i.e. a loose backlight. Any questions that I had he answered. If he wasn't sure or didn't know, he got the answer for me. That shows me he cares about his clients and is an honest salesperson. He made my experience the best i've had at any dealership here in town as well as out-of-state. It was a smooth sale and I had ease of mind knowing that i was truly taken care of by Michael. I would definitely recommend this dealership and will definitely return for my future needs. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Very very happy with Josh. WOW... I would honestly go back! It all started when I was looking for a used car 2010 Altima, and he was very helpful found out my budget, and so we were looking at so many when he glanced at a Sentra SR, sporty is what I like. It was the same price for a new Sentra 0 Miles than a used Altima for 30,000 miles so I thought to myself why not get a new car!!! Well we negotiated price we were both happy as where we wanted to be and made a deal right then! I honestly worked with someone that wasnt pushy like my before experience of the day! Love it and I would recomend to anyone else that is out there looking for a car.

I started shopping for a used truck and went to a local dealer and had a terrible experience. The reason was they offered me a terrible price for my trade in and then told me that I needed to stick with the used lot that the new vehicles were out of my price range. Devistated with that news, I was going give up on purchasing a vehicle altogher. That very night I found an ad online for Ken Garff Nissan in Salt Lake City and submitted my information. Within MINUTES I recieved a phone call from Sean. He told me that I would get top dollar for my trade in and possibley more and that I should come down and see them. Earlier the next day Sean called again asking some more questions about what I was looking for and that everything would be set up when I got there. Sure enough at 10:30am (scheduled appointment time) he was introducing me to a senior salesman, Lamar. Right away he was confirming what Sean and I had talked about and was offering us drinks and to walk around the Nissan Frontiers to see one that we liked. The first one he took us to was one of his top of the line trucks and asks us if we want to test drive it. As we test drove it he was explaining all the features of the truck, safety information, mpg, etc... showing us that he not only sales the vehicles but he knows what they do. While I'm driving he is entertaining my 3 1/2 month son so we can enjoy the test drive and pay attention to the way the truck handles and feels. After I finish driving, he then asks my wife if she would like to and she does and we both fall in love with it. We not only feel in love with the truck but the whole experience we were having while shopping for a vehicle. After deciding the truck I wanted and the color, we began to get down to business. Right away Lamar is offering a far price he is showing us not only the monthly price but the APR and the total price. He was not hiding anything. He was very forward about wanting us to feel right about this. After finishing price dealing we felt like we had done good and proceeded to financing, where the process was short and sweet. (Hard to believe when your spending money) Afterwards, Lamar took us to our new vehicle and asked us how he did.He wanted to know was there anything that we thought he could improve on as a salesman? We told him that not only did we buy the truck of our dreams that up until that very day we thought it would only be a dream but we had a great experience and met some amazing people. Lamar also called the next day to check up and to ask how we were enjoying our new Fronteir. I proudly recommend KEN GARFF NISSAN SALT LAKE. The environment is great, the people are friendly, and there are deals to be made! It is worth the drive to see them!

This dealership was very rude. They told us we could not get what we wanted because our car was only worth the lowest kelly blue book value, however their vehicle was worth the highest kelly blue book value. They took their time getting us the price for the trade in value and we never could come to an agreement. I feel they didn't even try to come to an agreement. If they didn't get it exactly their way, then they didn't want the business.

I am an out-of-state buyer looking for a specific pre-owned Nissan vehicle. They had one listed on their website that appeared to fit the bill-low miles, pristine condition, fair price. I called to ask specifics on this vehicle and it turned out to have a run-flat tire system that I did not want. When I told them I would have to keep looking, Levi offered to personally go out to the vehicle and get the numbers off the tires while on the phone with me. He took the information over to the service and then the parts department to make absolutely sure he was giving me the correct information. He then offered to investigate options to switch out the rims and tires to something that would meet my needs. He was true to his word and called back shortly with options and prices. If there was anything he could do, he offered to help. He also offered to look into vehicle shipping options with reputable companies, since I am a 4 day drive away. Ultimately, it didn't make sense for me to purchase this vehicle due to the cost of obtaining it, and cost of modifying the tire system. However, I would not hesitate to highly recommend this dealership (and Levi in particular) to anyone in the SLC area looking for a Nissan. Outstanding service rarely found at a car dealership.

I wish I were able to rate the interaction with my salesman, Jack Hart, separately from the rest of my experience. Jack did a great job. Also, Rhett Prows, the General Manager, was very helpful. But my experience with finance manager Carson Kraatz was incredibly disappointing. I will certainly never do business with him again. While he denies it, he told me bold-faced lies. If you are going to buy a car at any dealership, know that you will probably have to fight to have the window etching and extended warranty charges removed from the sales contract. If you're going to work with Carson Kraatz, you should know that he is a SNAKE! Buyer beware. This guy is incredible. Here are two great little maneuvers he pulled on me. I hope that this will help someone.I negotiated $200 off the price of the car to have dents pulled. He threw $180 right back on the "Accessories and Options" line of the contract and insisted that it was for licensing fees for which there was not a proper line on the contract. Don't fall for this. The State and an expert I consulted with confirmed that the charges appeared to be "for nothing." Carson ignored several emails and voicemails I left for him as I tried to resolve our "misunderstanding." Only when I finally tracked down the General Manager's phone number did Carson respond. He cut a check to me for the $180 "tax and license" fee, and on the memo line he wrote something like "Refund for window and door moldings." Yes, those window and door moldings we never discussed. SNAKE.Carson also told me that the bank would not finance a car like the one I was purchasing if I did not purchase a $750 gap insurance policy on it. This is also a lie. In fact, it is illegal to tell somebody this. Carson tells me that I "misunderstood what [he] said." I heard exactly what he said. There's more to this story that I won't share here. Carson was cautiously crafty in the way he sold me this baloney. Carson told me half-truths and ultimately sold me a $750 third-party gap insurance policy that I did not want. Surely he would receive a fat commission on such an outrageously-priced gap policy (most gap policies cost around $300).The gap policy was refundable, but Carson made it difficult to cancel it and get my money back. It took two months and multiple calls and emails. And while maybe it was true that 'whoops, we cut the check a month ago and it fell into a drawer and didn't find it until now,' I'm having some trust issues with the dealership. I think they're warranted.

Beware when leasing a vehicle from this dealership. They don't "back you up" as promised. Today is the third day (the last day) since I leased a 2010 Altima and they refuse to take the vehicle back. Why? Because the loan has since funded. The reason why I want to return the vehicle? Because after being literally rushed through the signing, I went back and looked through the numbers and they were not the numbers that we agreed upon from the beginning. I was not given the full amount for my trade in as agreed, and when I pointed that out to Carson he said "well thats the number that was on there"- making me feel as though I was stuck. This was at 10pm at night and no one else was there besides Sam and Carson. I should have just got up and walked out and trusted my gut feeling. Also, the price of the vehicle when you are leasing DOES matter, no matter what Sam or any of the other salesmen say. I know this because John at the Ken Garff Nissan in Riverdale told us that today. We were repeatedly assured that the price doesn't matter since we're "renting" it. So, my option is to trade in a 3 day old car, and suck up the 10K LOSS (31k was the "price" of the car- I was told the car was going to be 27K)- and the car's trade in value is less than 21k. Were they nice? Sure!! But nice doesn't mean that they are HONEST!!!!3 years, 2 months and 27 days left of driving a car that was leased to us shady.

Having searched the internet I saw that Ken Garff Nissan - Salt Lake seemed to have the best advertised prices overall. I did look and drive a few other cars (Toyota) at a couple of broker dealers earlier. I was looking for a Camry or Altima and chose Altima for it's handling, reliability and comfort.I called KG and Levi answered. He was very patient and communicated well. I already had an idea of what I was looking for but had questions about a lease program being advertised. Levi was able to answer my questions about the lease. The next morning, a Saturday, I called ahead and told Levi I decided against the lease and would be looking for a used Altima and if he had something similar in price I would be open to looking. When I arrived at the dealership the I was pleasantly greeted and introduced to Sam. Sam already had an Altima warmed up and ready for a test drive. We did go for a drive and came back to look at a few other model designations and years, including a Hybrid and a Maxima. We sat down with Sam and discussed options and pricing on the different vehicles. We were offered drinks and popcorn and made to feel comfortable. Sam took my trade and pricing requirements to the manager and came back with a great deal on the Altima we drove! The mileage was a little higher than what I wanted but I couldn't pass up the great price. All in all a great experience. This is the 2nd time I've purchased from Garff - Salt Lake, the first time was in 1991! As a follow up, I went to the dealership the following Monday with the title and keys for my trade and talked with another salesman about a drink holder that was missing in the console. He took care of me right away and thanked me for my business.

Very satisfied overall with my experience. This was my first time buying a brand new car, and John was very helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. I had researched the car I purchased in great detail before hand so I knew exactly what I wanted and John was very helpful and responsive to each detail. Overall a great experience working with John and Ken Garff Nissan.

The reason why I have given Ken Garff Nissan of Salt Lake City such a poor review is for the following reason: fraud on behalf of the dealership and its employees. A mistake on the part of the employees, which could have been easily acknowledged and fixed, turned into a nightmare for myself when the employees refused to return money that was clearly owed to me. I have tried many times since purchasing my vehicle to have my money returned to me but Ken Garff Nissan as a whole will not comply or respond to my requests, no matter how many times I ask.

These guys were great. This is the fifth car I've bought from Ken Garff, and this was byfar my best experience. They have a great team that all worked together to meet my needs. John Pearson was the best salesman I have ever worked with. He took the stress and pressure out of buying a new car.

I gave the rating i gave because the sales experience was great. I didnt feel like i was rushed into anything and during the buying process I didnt feel like I was boxed in and pushed into the sale. John Pearson and Bill Hadsell did their best to get me a good deal and make sure I got a good interest rate on the truck. And they didnt try and push me into a vehicle I did not want.

I mainly worked with Jason Long over internet sales. I was interested in purchasing an 2011 Altima. He was always very quick with his responses and was willing to work with the price in a very flexible manner. I always felt like my questions were answered on time and thoroughly. I also referred my cousin to him, and he helped us reach a great price very quickly and was also extremely courteous. I would definitely recommend this dealership to all my friends and family who are interested in purchasing a new vehicle in the future, and I would definitely purchase a future vehicle from them as well.

I loved my salesperson (John) and had a great experience with finance department as well. They really went to bat for me! I was a little disappointed when (after 35 days of owning my vehicle) my roof rack fell off my car for no apparent reason, and the dealership would not fix this problem, which should have been caught in their pre-purchase review of my car. This made me distrust that service really did a thorough inspection on my car. I also had to replace the belts, which were original to the car (100,000 miles) at a cost of $250. I was promised $500 worth of service when I purchased the vehicle and felt both of these items should have been addressed prior to my purchase. Such small things for a dealership, but larger for me to come up with the money to fix. For this reason, I will not likely buy from this dealership again. I would however buy from my salesperson in the future if he worked at another dealership.

When I was at the dealership I never intended to purchase a car.. Jack introduced him self the minute I walked into the dealership and made sure I was comfortable and was just the friendly guy I have ever talked to.. He didnt pressure me to look at any cars it hardly seemed if he was a salesmen at all he acted more like a friend. He pratically held my hand through the entire process always making sure I was happy. And your receptionist rosa was so sweet. she talked to me when I know she may have had other things to do, and seemed genuinly interested in all my stories. She helped me every time I looked confused which at my age seems to be quite often.. haha I just love your dealership and all its employees they really treat you like family.

The dealership gave my son a new vehicle (Without my knowledge) before any papers were signed, (They sent them to me as I live outside Utah) When I received the papers I observed they had added in some undisclosed fees. My son took the car back and they charged him for the temp tag and 50 cents per mile. VERY deceptive business practices. They also attempted to gain my signature on a lease agreement that would have made ME the vehicle owner and sole lessee, although I had only agreed to be a co-signer. BUYER BEWARE!!!

I was looking to trade my 2004 maxima for a new one and I worked with Brad. Though I haven't made the final decision yet I am very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy shown by Brad and the dealership. Usually going to buy a new car can be a negative experience but this has been a pleasure and I recommend Brad and Ken Garff.

The experience started before I arrived at the dealer. Ryan did some research to line up some cars that were within my budget and moldel in mind. I also got a call from Phil Green (manager?) to confirm my appointment the following day. When I arrived I was warmly greeted as a got out of my car. I was helped by ryan's friend who was very knowlegable and attentive to my car needs. The number one choice car was nicely displayed on the lot under a canopy, which indicated that they valued me as a customer and took my appointment seriously.

I wanted a certain Xterra and Chris found it for me. I had experienced some awful interactions with other local dealers and was so grateful to find Chris and Justin. I was happy to deal with a salesman who didn't act like a "car salesman"! I absolutely love my Xterra and truly enjoyed my experience with Chris and Justin. I actually ended up laughing and enjoying buying a car - when before that I was dreading and hated the whole thing. I would absolutely recommend Chris (salesman), Justin (general sales manager), and the Ken Garff team.

I love my Nissan! I love the color and design of the Altima, with the diamond earrings on the side mirrors and the sleek lines of the frame. I love the user friendly control panel. I found the style and color of car I wanted and then called the dealership who had it in stock. I contacted the salesman through the internet access, Mr. Ryan Snow. I actually had contacted another salesman at the same dealership and he told me he could not help me. Ryan followed up and said he could help me. He found the exact car I was looking for, worked out the financing requirements I had set, and then picked up and delivered the car for me. Upon delivery of my car, he thoroughly went over the specific features of my new car and how to work them. I have taken my Nissan back to Ken Garff of SLC for all my oil changes, even though it is a 45 minute drive from my home. The Service department worker, Simon, is great to work with and answers all my questions and concerns. Chris has followed up with me to see if I like my car....and I do!

I had searched many dealers before visiting KenGraff but non of then had what i was expecting. The sales person Chris took all of my requirements and just showed one best car and I was sold for it. He was very good, explained everything, stayed late to complete all formalities and the best part is he helped me dropping my rental car in the airport and picking up the new one. They have very good used nissan vehicles between the range of 10 to 20k and i would recommend anyone looking in that range.

I found 3 used vehicles on site at this one dealership, after having searched millions of other dealerships and not finding even one used vehicle that I would have considered purchasing. I had been working via email and phone with Billy Boulden at Ken Garff Nissan. Billy was very friendly and very informative. He was not pushy at all or desperate like so many car salesmen seem to be. I test drove 3 vehicles and even though the dealership was getting ready to close for the day (and had closed by the time I finally made my purchase), Billy took the time to explain each feature of each vehicle and explain differences in how each vehicle handled on the road. I ended up staying well past closing trying to decide, but the staff at Ken Garff Nissan SLC stayed friendly and upbeat rather than just "beat". Billy was very helpful in assisting me in deciding which of the 3 vehicles I wanted to purchase. With Billy's assistance I purchased a vehicle without even a hint of buyer's remorse.Even though this dealership is 30 minutes from my area and there are dozens and dozens of other dealerships in my area, I would drive to Ken Garff SLC again before looking anywhere else for a new or used vehicle.

He was really professional and a charmer. All of the employees really teamed up to make sure I got everything I needed and all of my questions were answered. It's always scary when you get to a car lot because you don't want to be clobbered with people wanting to sell you something you don't want but I didn't feel that way. I felt like they were there to help me and make sure I got what I wanted, not what they wanted.

When I called the dealership, it was about a car that I had seen on-line. they connected me with their internet salesman, and john was able to walk me through the entire process, including a test drive, in only a few hours. Even let me take my girlfriend out to lunch in the car that i was going to purchase while he took care of paper work. He even called me up a couple times within two weeks to make sure that I was satisfied with the car and to let me know that everyhting had gone through at the bank just fine. Thanks john for a great buying experience.

I had such a wonerful experience at Ken Garff Nissan. I worked with Brad Jensen and he was awsome. I came in trying to find a used car. We looked at a number of cars for hours. He was so patient with me. He genuinly seemed to want to help me find the car I was invisioning. I am obviously indecisive and was unsuccessful at finding the car I wanted that day for personal reasons. I'm sure this was frustrating for Brad but he didn't show it. He was great. He has frequently kept in contact with me since. He calls and asks how I am doing. He just wants to see about me not just if I am ready to come in and try again. I have never had as good an experience purchasing a vehicle, new or used, than my experience with Matt at Ken Garff Nissan. First of all, he responded quickly to my Internet inquiries in a timely manner and with useful information. Then when I came into the dealership, he listened to what my parameters were, made his recommendations, and worked with me to prepare an offer on teh vehicle I ended up purchasing. Not only Matt, but the other staff members (sales manager, used car evaluation, and finance) also were very friendly and cooperative. The negotiation process was actually fun! My dad and I worked with Julian and he was a great help to us. We came in to look threw to see what i could find in my price range. He knew my price range and didn't try and pressure me to go over it. I haven't baught a car before so this whole experience was scary for me but after meeting with him and having him help me he made me feel at ease. His personality was great he was upbeat and he kept a smile on his face the whole time. He seemed like he actually wanted to help find a car that was going to be best for me instead of selling me a car with a bunch of High Tech things i didn't need and would never use. He answered all of our questions (even all my little stupid ones) in a way that i could understand. Everyone there was very friendly, seemed to have a great attitude and was happy to help in any way. This was definately the best dealership that I have been too. My experience there was great over all. Julian definately helped me figure out what was best going to suite me and be the best choice for me.

Robb and Carson did their very best to sell us just the car my wife wanted with terms that my wife could handle. The succeeded tremendously with a brand new Brilliant Silver Metal colored 2011 Nissan Versa for nothing down and $339/month. When my wife locked her keys in the trunk after we had taken the car home, Robb helped us by sending a roadside service technician and having trunk key made and delivered to us after store hours, which required calling a service technician to make a special trip into the dealership. Everything we experienced was above and beyond the call of duty and pleased us greatly.

Everyone there is always very friendly and some even remember my name each time I come. Service is always prompt and I always feel taken care of. So I think quality of service is great but the reason I gave Quality of work an Ok was because one time I was in for maintaince service and there were greasy foot marks on my carpet. I had to clean it. This last time I got a new Key programmed to my car and they left the plastic wrapper on the floor in the car. I know these are only small things but I work in Quality so I look for small detail like that and I know you want to hear to improve not to discipline.

I felt that this dealership was very dishonest and Phil Green imparticular was very misleading and has horrible public relation skills. The short temper and angry attitude made our buying experience one to never forget. Promoises made by the dealership as well as Phil Green were not kept, and overall, I would not recommend nor visit this dealership ever again for any reason. Afer the sale I recieved a call from customer service agent Heidi (unknown last name) and explained my buying experience as well as the very bad experience I had. She assured me that she would look into the issues and try to please me with whatever aggreement they could come up with. Well, that was the last to hear from customer service of all people. Needless to say, this dealership, and mainly Phil Green's unkept promises and lying ended up costing me approximately $3000.00 out of my own pocket weeks after the sale. Phil Green needs fired or sent to anger management classes, preferebly fired.

After past dealership experiences I was hesitant when it came to buying my next vehicle. I found a vehicle online and filled out one of their forms. I was contacted very quickly and had all my questioned answered with professionalism. I am a single woman and usually it is very intimidating working with mostly old males that disrespected me in the past. When I came to look at the Acura TSX it was more beautiful than the pictures online had portrayed. Jason, the internet manager, timed my visit with his iPhone until I was driving away in my new car. 1 hour and 10 minutes! I was treated with respect and would recommend to anyone looking to have a smooth car experience. I'm loving my new Acura!Bridget from Salt Lake

I called Jason on the used Buick I was interested in and asked what kind of range he had to come off the listed price. I was considering driving 150+ miles and was not interested in driving for the listed price. He said he knew that the car ws going to auction the following Tuesday and that he was sure he could go down around 20% to get it moved before auction.I loaded up my three kids all ages under 5 to leave my house the next morning at 6:30AM to make this deal work. When I arrived, I was told that he had mistakenly spoke of the dealership's plan for the car (it would not be goign to auction) and the price we had discussed the previous day could not be honored. He and Phil Green both sold me on how great of a car I was still getting for the money. We haggled, and I eventually paid a price around 15% more than we agreed to. (The 15% was before the applicable document charge and some security warranty).Anyway, the car did not even get me home before having problems. I called as soon as I got home to notify Phil and Jason and ask for some help. They gave no assurances, passing me off to Chris Martin. He promised to call me back the following Monday. He never called. Instead the same sales guy, Phil called back and said it was all as-is. I complained that I had been deceived three times; the first about price with Jason, the second about the condition of the car by Jason and Phil, and the third time by the dealership itself if it would not help. The website says, exactly, "Free Mile After Mile Limited Engine Warranty Ken Garff Automotive Group is pleased to introduce this new protection which will provide assurance that the most expensive & complex mechanical part on your vehicle--your engine--will run far longer than even the manufacturer guarantees!! And this warranty is provided Free on EVERY vehicle we sell, new and pre-owned!". Now I was less than 80 miles from the dealership, developed a problem, and they would not help. Phil's reason to me was that they did not have enough of a margin in the sale of the car to help me out. I noted that doing what was right should not equate with how much they were able to profit off of me on the sale. He said he understood how I felt, but that there was nothing he could do.It is costing me $900 to have fixed. Their "warranty" says it should cover up to $5000. worth of engine parts and service. The mechanic I took it to said that someone had neglected to fix the intake manifold, and had instead covered up the problem with a ton of silicon. He said it is a very obvious cover up, and if the service dept was unaware of it, then they had not even looked at the car before reselling it. Apparently, the engine could easily have thrown a rod, and I could have been out $5000 instead of $900. I feel very lucky. (Sarcasm)When I called and complained to Phil, he said that the car did not have any problems before I took it. I said it obviously had. He said I had driven it and I still took it. I said I had driven it VERY little, and had taken his and Jason's work about how good of condition the car was in. I said I should be able to take his word to the bank and that this was not how business should be conducted. He said he understood how I felt, but that he could no nothing to help me. I told him he had a promising career in politics ahead of him if he was so OK with promising one thing and then reneging. He got angry and told me not to get personal. I said it WAS personal; he was OK with being personal to make the sale. I noted he had also made personal statements about how good of condition the car was in, which obviously was not true. It was obviously personal to me because I had money on the line. I said that it should be personal to him, and that there ws something wrong if he did not take the complaints personal. He hung up on me. I will not forget the lesson. Don't let them con you too.

Horrible customer service. They flat out lied about a broken part, which they promised would be fixed two days after buying. After three weeks of calling, and never getting return calls, come to find out they never did order part in, and the service department had no idea what was wrong with it. Once the sale was over, the salesman, Sean, was completely unhelpful, and down right rude on the phone. Please don't shop here, and give honest, kind people your business instead. I know I will never be back, to this or any other Ken Garff dealer, ever....

I had a problem with my 2001 nissan altima gxe. after some research on-line and bringing it to my regular mechanic, I was pretty sure that the intake manifold gasket had to be replaced. My normal mechanic recommended I bring it to a dealer and have them do a diagnostic on the car using their computer. He also checked the amount of time needed for this repair (5.5 hours). I brought my car into the Ken Garff Nissan service department and told them the issues. Ben Lutz told me he would run a 22 point inspection. I called the next day, and besides the gasket replacement costing $1100 ($500 more than at other mechanics) he said there were a lot of other problems, including fuel line leak, power steering leak, radiator hose leak, and cracking drive belts, and he said the total cost was $2000. Now my trusted mechanic had checked the car two days before and didn't find any fuel leaks. Clearly, the Ken Garff service department was trying to drum up some money from an unsuspecting customer. When I picked up my car after the diagnostic ($70, btw) I asked Ben if we could put the car up on a lift and the tech could show me the fuel line leak. But lo and behold, the tech wouldn't work again until the next friday (because mechanics only work on tuesdays and fridays, I'm sure.)I ended up getting the gasket and drive belts fixed at a different mechanics shop for $500.Don't trust this service department!! They will try to rip you off as much as they can!!

all I can say is HORRIBLE and I will never be back. misleading statements, outright lying, unethical contracts. All just a part of the experience at Ken Garff. Was told the vehicle was on an "extended test drive" and then was told I was not able to turn it back in, that I had purchased it. After being told that giving it back was "NO PROBLEM"

I have mostly good things to say about this dealer. I feel my overall experience has been good. I did have some questionable things that have happened. 1. Suddenly I realized that I have G.A.P. insurance. I had initialed a paper that signified that I declined it. However on my contract it was put in there and during the rush of sign here sign there we signed for it. Upon my discovery of this I called the dealership to discuss it. I was told that we could decline it if we wanted and out account would be credited. I have decided to just keep it. Another issue was getting my car. A "lot tech" was backing it out and we were told that the bumper was going to need to be replaced and that it was at the shop and that the part was on its way. We were originally scheduled to pick it up in two days and ended up waiting over a week. The part in question we were told was not replaced but repainted. I cant notice any problems with it though. I just felt a little mislead. However Jason and his team did accomodate me with placing me in a loaner car and provided me with some other service upgrades. I was appreciative of this. The last thing I noticed after getting my car home was that there are a few scratches on the spoiler of the car which I am hoping they will take care of. The dealership as a whole seemed like they were willing to work hard to put me in a car I want and not something that they needed to move. I would recommend them to family and friends I would just caution to take time and dont rush the process as I did.

I purchased a used Rogue in May 2009. Everything was fine until I went to the F&I department with Carson Kraatz. Long story short, he added GAP insurance to my contract without telling me, and it was buried in the paperwork so it was difficult to find. When I made a second trip to the dealership to finalize my paperwork for my loan with an area credit union, Carson still didn't mention that he had added GAP insurance to my loan. That night, when I finally discovered it, he said it was required by the credit union. I called the credit union the next day, and they do not require GAP insurance. In fact, the Credit Union's GAP insurance that they offer was HALF the cost of Ken Garff's! Definitely go elsewhere if you are in the market for a Nissan!!

I went in about a year ago to have my transmission fixed (after 7 visits they finally fixed it). At the same time I bought an aftermarket flywheel/clutch to put in after confirming that it would not void my warranty. Went in about a week ago to get my transmission repaired again......had the same problems as it did last time. They refused to repair it. I started asking other employees if I had any other options to repair it under warranty. At this time Billy Brown (Service Manager) came over to me and started yelling and swearing at me. I left to avoid further incident.I decided to call Nissan corporate to get this solved. After a week of moving up the chain they informed me that my vehicle was no longer covered under warranty because the flywheel/clutch voided the warranty, which the dealership specifically told me it wouldn't!The dealership still refuses to make this right and I will never purchase from them or Nissan again.

Purchased a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder online. Spoke with the salesman prior to driving 5 hours to Salt Lake (I live in Boise) and specifically asked about the console that appeared to have a broken cup holder cover in a picture. I was assured that it was in perfect condition. After I was half way back to Boise the cover BROKE! Then I noticed it had been GLUED! The salesperson flat out lied and when I asked the manager to make things right, he replied with; "it was sold as is" and " a used car is bound to have 'loose' parts"... he also offered to let me buy a part to replace the lied about, broken console piece. I will never work with them again and fear now that my car may have flood damage, luckily it has a warranty. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KEN GARFF!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KEN GARFF!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KEN GARFF!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KEN GARFF!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KEN GARFF!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KEN GARFF!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KEN GARFF!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KEN GARFF!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KEN GARFF!!!!

I would warn people to find a different place to do business. One year after vehicle purchase we get a phone call from their office saying they had mistakingly given our plates to someone else and theirs to us. This was discovered only as the other person involved was pulled over and the police impounded his car because of his "stolen" plates. We have had problems with their service department and the warranty they sold us. I also happen to know from experience these kind of problems are not infrequent. Buyer Beware, and find a more competent, honest place to do business.
