Mariano was great. He helped us find a car that fit our needs and was reasonable about the price range we were looking in. We had asked about a couple other SUV options, and he was able to show us what we were talking about and kept it real about the price difference. The value we received for our trade in was also what we were looking for. The experience overall was so great. I was really impressed with Karl Chevrolet and the help we received from Mariano.

Was looking for a truck because my old Honda Accord broke down on me. Searched many dealers and so glad that I went with Karl Chevrolet. Matthew Taylor was the person I have dealt with and he was very pleasant to work with. He answered all my questions and pretty much knew what I really wanted in a truck that fits my budget. He was never pushy and honest about things. Matthew Taylor is a type person who would put a customer’s satisfaction first before his paycheck. Matthew even scheduled my LINE-X to be put on. Even the manager was pleasant to work with. They even gave me a better interest rate than my credit union. I am a very satisfied customer and i love my truck. Definitely would buy again here when my wife is ready for a new vehicle. I’ve already recommended friends and family to go Karl Chevrolet and especially work with Matthew. This is my 3rd vehicle I have gotten from Karl’s and i do have to say I’ve had outstanding help from every person who has worked with me. I love pulling in and a person is already outside to help me out! Especially with my little 1 year old that was making it hard on me this day. Mark was very helpful with helping me in a personal level with putting together my daughters stroller for me. So I really appreciated that. He was great with kids and understood what I needed was something bigger because of my child’s car seat. He made sure I had all the details and wanted me to speak to my husband first b4 any financial decisions which I like. Makes me feel like he really cares. Excellent customer service reps you have there! Hopefully, I won’t be back for a while but I’ll definitely be back again.

Linda and the rest of the staff were very helpful in helping me purchase a new truck! I walked away with a truck beyond my expectations and they helped me along the way with any questions, concerns, and gave me a very fair price. I never felt pressured once during the purchase. My husband and I took our truck to get an oil change at Dewey Ford next door so we're decided to walk around Karl's lot because I'm seriously loving the new Blazer RS.... We're walked ALL the way around their lot (front and back BOTH), and not a SINGLE person came out to talk to us... which both surprised and confused us because any other car lot we've EVER been to, we've ALWAYS been greeted and asked if we needed any help AT LEAST once!!

I worked with Gene Klein, and he was a pleasure working with. After much searching, he was able to locate and facilitate a trade for the vehicle I wanted for a price that exceeded my expectations. When I picked up my truck, considering I live in Minnesota (about 3.5 hours away), I was expecting a long, drawn out process based on experiences of family and friends, so I was planned on arriving around 8 am, and leaving around 3 pm. That was not the case, as I arrived at 9 am, and was pulling out of the dealership in my new truck around 11:30 am. All the paperwork and turning the truck over to me was very organized, quick and painless like a well-oiled machine. Then when I got to see the vehicle, it was spotless and well detailed, which exceeded my expectations. And, what may seem minor to some people, I really appreciated that Karl Chevrolet did not remove the screen and temp control plastic protector shields. That level of detail truly shows that Karl Chevrolet really respects their customers and shows that they really take pride in customer service and attention to detail. Even the people I picked up the car with raved about how quick and painless the process was, how clean the car was, and the small details like keeping those plastic protector shields on the screens. I will definitely recommend Karl Chevrolet to anyone in search of a vehicle.

I have to say I was taken by surprise at how efficiently I was helped. I didn't feel like just another credit score. I was treated by everyone at Karl Chevrolet with great respect. After having multiple dealerships appraise my vehicle, Karl Chevrolet offered the lowest in trade values of them all. The sales staff were pleasant, however, the sales managers were the worse I had ever experienced regarding high pressure sales techniques. I even had the pleasure in meeting Carl himself, and yes, Carl spells his name with a C, not a K as the dealership name would lead you to believe. I never met a man so into himself.

Being in my mid 50's I have purchased several new cars and trucks over the years. Being in the age of the internet, I also have bought several online as I already know what the vehicles look like, so it is about coming to grips with a negotiable price and deciding if you want to move forward. I also have purchased several vehicles from other States and flew employees into the local airport to pick up the vehicles. Every time the dealer has either had the vehicle at the airport to greet the driver or picked them up at the airport and taken them to the dealership to deliver the vehicle, so I think nothing of working with a new car dealer or buying larger ticket items on the internet. I was shopping for a Camaro Convertible and Karl Chevrolet did have one of the largest selections of Camaros in stock and do a decent job of presenting them on the internet. After a couple months of shopping for the exact color, freatures and options on the car I saw they had a new 17 that just landed with the right exterior color and right interior color I was after. I approached them via e-mail and was contacted back quickly the next day. Exchanged a few mails, then had a phone conversation and came to a price they could live with and I could live with. I wanted white factory Chevrolet stripes added to the car, so eight days ago I gave them a CC down payment to order the stripes. I asked if they wanted more down and was told no, the down is more than the stripes, so if you back out of the deal we have free stripes. Made sense to me. After the weekend I made arrangements with my bank to wire transfer the funds for the car to Karl Chevrolet in anticipation of them ordering the stripes the Thursday before the weekend and getting them installed while they waited for the payment. I watched the funds hit their account rapidly as it was before 2 pm and the payments at most banks are instant which this one was. I had intentions that possibly on the Wednesday or Thursday of the following week after the downpayment was made that they would deliver the vehicle to me. The mistake I made was paying it all up front, and I have been shelved and put on the back burner with lots of excuses now on Friday afternoon (8 days) after initial payment that they do not even have the white stripes there and are asking me if I want to take delivery with the car and no stripes. That is NOT what I wanted, nor is it acceptable. In all of my dealings with dealerships, this one has been the worst by far. I feel like an outsider and have heard a few excuses to why I cannot take delivery of the vehicle in an 8 day period. Not it looks as though it is going to stretch into next week! Very odd dealings and a buyer beware listing would be my viewpoint on this dealership for future shoppers and buyers. Should be treated with a bit of respect, and the service of delivery after the sale has to be better. As a customer I can accept an extra day or two, but when you are talking 12-13 days after paying for a vehicle for them to add stripes to it and be delivered is poor service, with no other description.

I took my car in for an insurance covered repair for the rear passenger side fender and wheel well. I noticed the paint was not even and asked for further repair - the body shop refused to repair their work. When I brought the same car in for another insurance covered repair in the same area, I told the Autobody Manager that I wanted them to fix the region correctly this time - there was obvious rust that was never repaired correctly the first time - I figured Karl would actually do the right thing the second time around; which is why I gave them a second chance.I was wrong - the Autobody Manger returned the car repaired, but the repaired region was showing surface rust. I brought the car back in three more times to let them try to fix their problem. The body shop was just spraying paint over regions that were not sanded down to the metal. On the final return to the service, I was told there were almost 80K miles on the car; so it was now just too old. These were insurance company repairs, they should have done the correct repair and charged my insurance company.

Was pushed through a deal faster than we wanted so they wouldn't have to honor addl. rebates, had to spend over an hour trying to setup free trial of XM, they didn't do it, navigation unit didn't receive the updates it should have, doesn't work as advertised right on Chevy's website, vehicle had all 4 tires at very different pressures, even had an onstar maintenance alert triggered from it. No attempt to resolve anything despite numerous contacts by us. This is the 3rd car we've bought from Karl Chevrolet and most certainly will be the last.

Even though one of the technicians appeared to be new and in training, the process went pretty smooth. The technician who was training him was obviously very knowledgeable and proficient at his job. Bring your truck down because there would be all these buyers and would get more money for your trade. What a story... heard that Karl's is trying to become #1 dealership of the nation? I remember when Karl dealership really wanted to help you get into the car or truck of your dreams. And they would do so much to make that happen but not anymore. Now its money, money and more money but all for them, nothing for you. I mean it was nuts and we were looking to lease a truck not buy it! Unless you are well off or got bucks I would stay away from this dealership. Because looking their trucks is just dream, you will never touch one. But then like my husband said someone has to pay for those new trucks and cars, that new building and all those sales people.

After driving 400 plus miles to your dealership, I was greeted by a very courteous and polite salesman, Nick. He showed me to the vehicle I was going to purchase. After a quick look over, I met with Andy, the business manager, who had all the paperwork ready for signing. We had an appointment for 7 am so I dropped off my vehicle the night before, so the service department could get started right away in the morning. I was told that the car would take an hour to an hour and a half to complete. So when I called at 10:30 am, I was surprised that it wasn't ready. I had appointments that day and needed my car. When I called back at noon, it still wasn't done. Needless to say, I wasn't happy at all with the service at this point. It was already there 3 hours longer than I was expecting and no one had provided me with a time when it would be done. Luke apologized. He told me that there had been a mistake when entering the work order and it was not put in as a rush. I do believe that it was an honest mistake, but I really needed my car (a car). Because no loaners were available, Luke provided me with a rental car that I could use for a few hours. This was a tremendous help! I know that mistakes happen and if I hadn't needed a car, it wouldn't have been a big deal. I was impressed with how Luke handled the situation and turned what could have been a horrible experience into a very pleasant one. Thanks for the great customer service!

Was looking to buy a new truck. Got a call from sales and given prices for a couple trucks I was interested in. Salesman tried to low ball me on my trade by $6500. Two other dealerships offered me $6500 more than karl chevrolet. I informed them of this and they didn't even try to negotiate. I was trading in a ram and ram gives quite a bit in rebates. I was told by salesman that rebates hurt resale value and that what they give on trade in doesn't affect overall purchase price and payments. Given this crazy theory and math...for long term savings when buying a new vehicle, tell them to keep the rebates and to take your car for free. When I went home I checked the trade in value on NADA....karls was actually $7500 under trade in value. Never again will I go to karls. Back to Woodhouse for me.

I can't say enough positive things about my experience at Karl Chevrolet. He was thorough and honest during a very stress free negotiation process. I know we paid the very best price available. The delivery process was a very enjoyable experience. All features of the vehicle were explained in great detail. When I had a question, the explanation was educated and patient. In the end I got my dream Chevy Silverado LTZ/Z-71. I experienced a problem with a fuel smell so I went to the dealership without an appointment and dropped of my truck. The service department worked me in that day. They had trouble diagnosing the problem as it was intermittent but continued testing until they found the source of the leak. Very thorough and professional.

Despite the severe heat and humidity and the fact that it was 5:40pm on Friday evening, the Karl's team serviced my car with a smile. In addition, they taught me some things about my car that I should know. Also, a young man named Jayden, went to another store to get a bulb for my rear blinker since they were out and the service department was closed. I can not say enough about the wonderful experience I have had since I started my association with Karl's Chevrolet. I bought my first car five years ago from Todd McKinney. Todd was wonderful. Then I was blessed to have Jim Jones as my finance guy and while I had truly bad credit, I was treated as if I was the most credit-worthy individual. When I purchased my car on Friday, Todd spent time with me explaining each vehicle. Todd helped me pick the perfect car!! Jim Jones helped with my financing and I felt like my dad was helping me. Had my truck in for a check engine light. Jeff's team looked at it and found a connection that wasn't seated properly so they did that and it fixed the problem. Something that isn't covered under my warranty but since they only moved one wire, he didn't charge me for anything. That's the common sense approach to customer service that will keep me coming back to Karl's!

The guys and gals at the Quick-Lube were really nice and the facility is very clean. However, there was a really long wait at the Quick-Lube - 2 1/2 hrs. They did call the shuttle to take me to Hy-Vee and pick me up, but the initial driver didn't have me fill out the log, so the pick-up driver went to the wrong Hy-Vee location and I had to wait 25 minutes for him to arrive. When I got back from the store my car was just entering the bay, and it was another 45 minutes after that before it was done. The gal who takes down information (maybe her name was Alex - I don't quite remember) did give me a car wash upgrade for all my wait time. It would be nice if there was an appointment system for the Quick-Lube, instead of first-come, first-serve, especially on days when they are so busy (Monday morning, which surprised me).

The guy when making the appointment at the service center told us our tires on our car would be done at 2pm, because then we were going to drop off our truck for the most recent Silverado recall and take the car. However, after showing back up after 2pm the car still wasn't done. The guy helping us did his best to make it right and did the truck's recall right away so our wait was minimal and we were able to take the truck back while they finished with our car. We returned 2 hours later and they had completed the car. The tires are great!

My suggestion would be to maybe open up one or two more bays for oil changes... There was a problem with one of the cars in front of us. The threads on the oil pan was stripped which let to an extra half hour in our wait...

Other than having to top of my oil myself after my oil change do to a low oil indicator I was impressed. I wanted an oil you don't normally carry and they sent someone to get what I wanted. Additionally they were prompt and curteous. I believe they were simply under the mistaken impression that the LS1 in my Corvette had a smaller oil pan than the LS1 in other applications.

I arrived for my initial test drive around 4:30 pm. Because Karl's is such a popular dealership we had to wait for Jeremy or Gene to be free. Gene gave us the keys & told us to take it for a test drive. Which we did until the low fuel indicator came on, so we headed back to the dealership. By the time I left around 9:00 pm I had started the process of purchasing the traverse. It was an EXTREMELY difficult decision to trade my Trailblazer & if I'm 1/2 as happy in the traverse as I was in the Blazer, I'll be a satisfied customer. Jeremy Gene Kim Tiffany & Wes were all very nice, patient & remain helpful people. They are all assets to Karl & Chevrolet's business.

The sales staff answered our questions and were more than polite and accommodating. The detail on my truck still left sticker residue on my windows and a number 69 on my back window was not cleaned off. I didn't notice this until the morning due to taking delivery at 8pm. When my wife and I brought our 2013 Equinox for its 12,000 mile tire and rotation, we were directed to park outside a specific bay to wait for the vehicle's service in the bay to be completed. As it turned out, the vehicle in the bay had tire balancing problems. We were then directed to an open bay where our Equinox was immediately serviced. When we were leaving, the technician that was working on the vehicle with the balancing problems came over and apologized for the inconvenience and wait. I want to acknowledge good customer service on two points: 1) being proactive in noticing a problem before the customer did and resolving the problem to the customer's satisfaction; and 2) having a technician taking ownership of the problem and personally apologizing for the problem. Excellent customer service!!! Keep up the good work so that Karl Chevrolet continues to be the number 1 in service in the nation!!!!

I have been having some huge problems with a previous car since January of this year. Dale in service has been my angel through all of this. With the recent problem that I had he suggested to the the dealership that they get me put into a new vehicle. To purchase a new vehicle I worked with Gene. He was great. I told him how much I felt like I could afford a month for the vehicle I wanted and he made it happen. I was looking for a second car for my wifeand wanted to spend about 10,000 dollars. After looking at other cars at other dealers I was looking at about 95,000 miles and issues the dealers did not want to fix. My son Adam suggested I go see Bruce at Karl. I had purchased a car from Bruce a couple of months ago. But he said finding a good car at that price would be a challenge. After visiting with him about the issues of buying a high mileage used car we started looking at your lot. Bruce was able to find a nice used, certified Cruze. It was more money than we wanted to spend, but the benefits of spending a little more and getting the certified with warranties made a lot of sense. Bruce listened to what we wanted and was very helpful in finding a good used car. Bruce is very personable and listens to his customers. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know who would be looking for a car.

The work on my car was done very well. I had work done at the body shop (new front bumper) and they did and excellent job. I really appreciated the extra cleaning and detail work that was done on my car - my vehicle was shining inside and out when I picked it up from the body shop - just as clean as when it was brand new two years ago. A big thanks to Jason Henry at the Quick-Lube/Tire building for helping me to get my vibration/tire problem fixed. The only problem I had was a discrepancy in the mileage numbers that were written on my paperwork and with a call back to Jason he fixed the problem and mailed out a new ticket and window stickers to me. A big thanks to him for helping me to get all the correct mileage numbers taken care of so I could get the correct stickers put in my windshield.

Service manager was extremely helpful. Garage employee's were helpful. After a tire was found to have a nail in it during the maintenance tire rotation, an incorrect tire weight was installed and later fell off less than 1/2 mile from the shop making a clunking noise. I returned to to the shop and it was fixed immediately with the correct tire weights. My question is, why would a brand new tire need 4 oz's of weight installed. Are these tires seconds? I do say again, that ALL employees I encountered during this were very helpful and friendly to me while both rotating the tires, finding the nail in the tire while doing the routine task of rotating (which told me, your shop people do care to do their best job and being attentive) and getting me back on the road after fixing the tire weight problem.

Everything was smooth from start to finish. I called Tim, told him what I was looking for. Tim gave me a couple recommendations. I looked at your inventory online and picked the truck I wanted due to features and color. Then I sent Tim the stock number. Tim sent back pricing. When I told him to get it ready, Tim called me to discuss options, asked if I had GM credit card so he could get my points from that and in general just took care of it. Stopped in for oil change/rotate tires. I was told it would be close to an hour wait. No problem, comfortable to wait. Pleasantly pleased that everyone works efficiently and as a team as I was in the service bay in about 32 minutes! Once in, all the guys work together as a team, answer questions, take care of your car and I was in and out in about 40 minutes. Great car wash too!

I was greeted at the door with a smile and was welcomed in. We sat down and talked for a couple mins about what I was looking for in a new car. After I got done telling Bruce, he told me he had the perfect car for me. I looked at it and then test drove it and was shown all the features. Bruce did not go over my price range and really did have the perfect car for me. I was extremely pleased with the whole experience. I was able to leave with my new car a few hours after walking in.

This was our first time taking our car to be serviced. After we parked we went into the building to check in. Someone came out to our car to fill out paper work. He said to park in front of a stall where no other cars were waiting. He said it would be about 20 minutes until they got to our car, then about 45 minutes for the service. After walking around & looking at cars for a 1/2 hour we went back to our car which was still parked in the same place. We proceded to sit in the car for another 1/2 hour before the man who checked us in noticed that we had just sat there while many other cars were going into the other bays & getting serviced! After getting us into another bay we got our service quickly. We will be back and understand that somewhere a mistake was made.

The financial process went so quickly, everything was all prepared for signatures! also, the one (sorry, I forgot his name) that showed me how to use all the new features on my Equinox made sure I was comfortable with and actually knew how to do them. I came in for an oil change and tire rotate. After I left the cab of my pickup had the smell of burnt oil. After stopping I discovered a good amount of oil on my engine and around my exhaust manifold smoking and stinking. It obviously came from the service tech spilling oil when filling engine. I took my truck back and spoke to Jason the Mgr and showed and explained issue. He took some brake clean and sprayed the area. Yes it still smelled in my cab for the rest of the day. This morning it was significantly better. This has happend once a few years ago. Jason took care of the issue however I wish the techs would have stepped up the plate and taken care of the spill themself and save me a return trip. They could have cleaned the oil and just let me know - it happened, we cleaned area, showed me, let me know its gonna smell and informed me if its still an issue in a day or two, bring my truck back. Jason was very professional and so was the receptionist. Yes I'll be back and thanks but please just let me know in the first place.

Had leather seats installed. I also have air bags on my truck. The heated seats did not work or my air bags. They put the heated seat wire in with my air bags and when I took the panel cover off they were disconnected. Not happy I had to redo the wiring after I paid over $2000.00 .

05 Express Cutaway Van. My Work Truck! Had it in for LOF and tire rotation. While I was there, I had the speakers and radio replaced too! Staff is always friendly helpful and understanding. I returned the following day with a problem. The radio had malfunctioned. It was diagnosed defective and replaced. While replacement happened the tech noticed 1 of the new speakers was crackling and said it is defective. He said they will call to make an appointment when the new shipment with speakers arrive. Jason and crew in car audio and Doug Gustafson and crew in service are on there game. Your lucky to have them on your team.

Tim was great setting up the appointment for the installation of my auto start. The gentleman in the service bay showed me to the waiting room and directed me to the counter so I could get a lift home. The driver who took me home was very pleasant and I enjoyed our conversation. The only reason it is not a five star this time is I specifically pointed out the scratches to my driver's side mirror to the gentleman who did the initial look at my Avalanche that was hit by a semi tractor trailer. When I got it back from the collision center everything was fixed except the driver's side mirror. Mike Hobbs at the collision center did a 5 plus star job on keeping me informed and getting my Avalanche back to me sooner that expected. Mike is also ordering a new driver's side mirror for me and when it comes in he said he would call me so I can stop out and they will replace the scratched mirror.

I needed a harness fixed under my front seat. Over Christmas I lost the reminder card but luckily for me some one in your office sent me an e-mail reminding me. I was in there for two reasons:First - was a recall on the back window and after the work was performed it work as normal.Second - was for the Mylink radio losing voice recognition on occasions after starting up the 2014 Silverado 1500 truck. They has a service sheet out on that problem and they performed what the solution was on the service sheet. However a few days later the problem was right back. I sent an email to Karl Service Tech when the problem occurred again.I have to say that I am very disappointed in GM about the problems that are going unresolved with the Mylink radio system. My Iphone 5 doesn't work correctly with it either on IOS 6 or 7. I would like to see that GM fix the problems with the Mylink and if they can't then I would like to see them replace it with one that works. This is not a Karl Chevy problem it is a GM problem. I would rate Karl an Excellent in all categories.

I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. While you were rotating the tires, the technician noticed a piece of metal in my tire. We had purchased the tire and wheel warranty when we bought our Acadia and now have put it to good use. Jim was so helpful. He received the approval from the warranty people and to locate a tire (in Des Moines). I was picking up my niece at the airport that afternoon and driving her to Ft. Dodge to meet her mother so I was anxious my suv would be finished in time. I was told the shuttle would take me to the airport and pick her up and bring her back to Karl's if my vehicle wasn't finished in time. Thanks to your excellent staff, all worked out in time and I was able to pick her up and drive safely to Ft. Dodge for their reunion. Thanks Karl's for all your help.

I was going to be out of the state for a few days and called the Service Dept the night before I left to see if i could leave my vehicle to have a list of services done. I told them I did not care if it wasn't completed by the time I returned from my trip because I have another vehicle that I could drive when I came back from my trip. The service dept. told me they were pretty busy and scheduling for the following week at that time. I assured him that was fine because I had another vehicle to drive until it was done . But I just wanted to leave it and whenever it fell on the schedule was fine with me. To my surprise-it was all done 2 days before I got back to Iowa and they called me 2x's to inform me of the progress while I was gone. Awesome Service!!! (and I think they must have Elves that work all night :)

Mike McNeely, unbeknown to him, was the 5th person to call me by the end of the day because I submitted a general my interest online to several different dealers. I gave Mike the same list of needs and concerns as the previous 4 people. However, Mike was the only one who stuck with me on the phone until I was actually considering real numbers and a real car. For whatever reason, everyone else had to call me back. By the time the others started to call me back, Mike was miles ahead of them in making the sale, because he had immediately showed me how to resolve all of my concerns.

What the salesman and at least one other employee had in mind for us regarding a lease did not come to pass. The next person we were sent to changed the entire deal-----we had to sit in front of him for 20-30 minutes while he was on his computer and telephone. It was embarrassing for us. In the end we took the deal but it was not a pleasantsituation for us.

This was the first time using the Quick Lube Express for an oil change. I purchased a 2013 Traverse, May 31st, 2013. Everyone from the information booth at the driveway entrance directing me to the oil change station to the gentlemen who serviced my car were very polite and professional. Directions are clearly posted on how to proceed into the service bays and you are greeted by personnel who promptly write up your order and get the process moving quickly. I did not have to leave my car, simply drove in, drove out in about 20 minutes total. Receiving a voucher for a free car wash at the dearlership was a bonus too! Great experience!

I contacted Josh Beving about 8 months ago looking for a used van. I eventually found one but of all the dealerships I contacted, Josh was the only person to follow up with me. I recently decided to purchase a new van. My intention was to custim order. Due to the specials offered on Black Friday, I decided to purchase the one and only van on the lot. Josh was very good to work with. I felt that I was treated fairly and Josh made every effort to meet my needs and protect the dealerships bottom line. One of the major issues was the seat location was not offering enough room for me. I am 6'6" so the "knees on the dash" was a potential deal killer. Josh called the conversion rep. and made arrangements to get seat extenders. That's the kind of customer service that create customer loyalty. Thanks again Josh.

I do have a suggestion for improvement. Your service is excellent; however, I have tried to hit the right mileage markers for the "tires for life" program. However, I have driven over 15 miles from my home on several occasions only to see the bays backed up several cars deep and being told it will be 1 1/2 hours before I will be in for service. Perhaps there is a way to alleviate unnecessary trips by making it easy to check the current waiting times.

Came for my first service of new 2013 Silverado the night before a holiday weekend. Expectations where that they'd be busy with long wait. Attendant suggested wait of up to 60-90 minutes but was in/out in 45. Also did a nice job of moving people between bays to ensure first come first served.

I really appreciated the sales approach of helping us decide on the car we wanted and helping us get the best deal. Other dealerships completely turned me off when their high pressure sales people won't hardly just let you shop and price a car. Way to pushy telling me how they have the best price, don't bother checking with other dealers. Then when I get done checking with 4 different dealers, turns out the high pressure dealer had the highest price of anywhere and I wouldn't buy from that type of sales person if they were the cheapest. Kate made shopping for a car enjoyable. Thank you.

I'm very appreciative that I was given a rental to use while my Traverse was getting the deer damage repaired. For that I say thank you Karl Chevrolet. I have found out that I will be coming back as I have discovered a leak in the windshield washer tank. This part should have been replaced as it was damaged in the collision. I have been in contact with Scott and he his aware of this and will see to it that it is taken care of the next time I'm in DesMoines.

My husband (John) and I have bought two vehicles from Nate Cracraft at Karl Chevrolet in Ankeny, IA. The first was a new Chevrolet Silverado a couple years ago for John. With that purchase, John knew exactly what he wanted. Simply put, we were shopping for the best price for a specific vehicle. We were working with some other dealers at the same time that Nate at Karl Chevrolet was helping us and hands down, Nate was more attentive and quicker to respond to all of our questions than anyone else we had talked to at any other Chevrolet/GMC dealership. Nate was able to get us the BEST price on the Silverado we were wanting (no games, straight forward - best deal/no finagling or bargaining to deal with) over all the other dealers we had talked to. Being an accountant, conscious of details (the numbers) and this being the biggest purchase we had ever made (other than our home) I was nervous. Nate spent the time going through all the details with us and helping us evaluate all financing options. We were and still are beyond pleased with our decision to purchase our Silverado from Nate at Karl Chevrolet. In May of 2013 I began looking for a new vehicle. I was not sure what I wanted. I had jumped around from the idea of a Malibu, Impala, Acadia, Traverse, and many other makes and models, both new and used. So we began our search by reaching out to Nate to get some specifics on some vehicles we had seen on Karl Chevrolet's lot. For SIX months, Nate answered every e-mail (I counted +40 in my sent items folder) and phone call promptly and was nothing but pleasant, patient and helpful every time. During this entire time, he knew that I was also looking at vehicles at other dealerships (given I wasn't certain I wanted a new Chevrolet or a used vehicle on their lot) and this did not impact his service to John and I with this purchase. He was not pushy at all. I never felt pressured and honestly believed he wanted to help us make the right decision for us, no matter how long it took to find the right vehicle. Super patient, helpful and all around very enjoyable to work with (which are words I cannot use to describe some of the other sales people we worked with at other dealerships during this process). We finally made a decision on a new Traverse and are so happy with our purchase! So to sum it up - If you want the BEST service, from a super patient, super helpful salesperson that can get you the BEST price from - call or e-mail Nate Cracraft at Karl Chevrolet.

Went for carpet and rider side seat back latch and head lights adjusted. Carpet they stretched after ordering new. Latch fixed. Head lights just not high enough down road and in front. I like to see road signs. Maybe I need the fog lights. Seat cover not pulled back under seat back can see gray that shouldbe under back of seat. Very tacky looking.

I'd like to describe my experience at Karl Chevrolet in one word: Simple. I worked with Michael McNeley & I am grateful that it was him, because he kept an undoubtedly, optimistic attitude in that everything would work out.... Even though I certainly didn't think it would work out in my favor. I looked at the inventory on Karl Chevrolet's website & that is when I noticed the 2011 Mini Cooper just calling my name & my interest immediately peaked. After a few hours going through numbers & a few other options later... I knew I didn't want anything else but the Mini Cooper. At this point, I really didn't think it was going to work out... just because it wasn't matching my expectations. I went home that night thinking that it wasn't going to happen this time around. Then I received a phone call the next day & he told me what they could do... I was thrilled. It wasn't exact, but it was pretty darn close. Needless to say, I went & picked my lil car up that night & drove it off the lot......... One happy camper I was, & one easy, fantastic experience. I decided to work with Michael McNeley at Karl Chevrolet. The moment I started working with him, he addressed every one of my concerns and showed me how affordable a NEW car can be. That said, I still wasnt convinced my credit would fly. He helped me feel comfortable enough to give it a shot. Needless to say, Im glad I did. I found the exact vehicle I have been looking for (2012 Chevy Suburban, silver, Z71, a hard to find combination) online thru cars.com and it was located at Karl Chevy. I live in Arkansas and almost 500 miles away and have never purchased a vehicle over the internet and especially without being able to see it first so I was somewhat cautious with the purchase. I called the dealership at 6:00pm on a Saturday and didn't expect to reach anyone but got in touch with Jake Nading. He took his time explaining the vehicle and also made me feel comfortable with the dealership's size and certified pre-owned checklist and warranty. I called back Monday and made the deal. Paperwork was overnighted to me and I was able to get the Suburban transported and in my possesion by Thursday. The suburban was exactly as described and was in better condition than expected. Looks brand new! Overall experience was great! Would highly recommend Jake and the dealership for an on-line purchase.

The car buying experience was great at Karl Chevrolet stayed later after closing time to make the sale, Great for you Dustin good job. Bought a 2012 Impala (Certified used) car nice car got a bumper to bumper warranty that expires at 48000 miles. I thought great if I have problems they are covered. Not so at Karl's started having problems with the drivers side vent it would not open after closing it once. Then I notice the headlight covers were cracking in the area of the driving lights I think it comes from the lights being on when operating the car. I take the car to the service department and make an appointment get my car in show them the warranty they say ok we will check it out. after 2 hours they come back and say these are trim items and are not covered by the warranty and will cost 600 to fix the items. I will not deal at Karl Chevrolet again BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY I SAY BULL TO THAT

We went to Karl already knowing the make, model and options we wanted in a new vehicle. We had not been able to find just what we wanted at an acceptable price elsewhere. Working with Steve, he quickly found several vehicles. Steve worked with us to come to an agreeable price and trade in value. He was great to work with friendly, knowledgeable, not pushy or over-bearing. We were in our new Tahoe in just a few days. Would we go back to Karl to shop for our next car? Absolutely! My wife and I originally went into Karl's to discuss trade-in on our used car and to look at a Volt. We were introduced to Jamie since we were looking for a new vehicle. I couldn't have asked for anything more in my salesman. He was great! He was very knowledgable about the car we were looking at and took the time to show us all the features. Since the technology on the Volt is so new, I asked a lot of questions along the way. Jamie was helpful through the whole process and if he didn't know an answer off the top of his head, he made it a point to write it down and follow up with us later in the evening. I have never been so relaxed while at a dealership. Jamie was very patient and showed us all the finance options available for the vehicle and Karl's was able to give us a better than expected trade allowance for our car. In fact, Jamie's no-pressure sales approach actually made us very confident in our decision to purchase that very night. I have never felt so good about our decision and about the customer service that was delivered (from Jamie in sales, to Mitch in finance, to Luke in delivery coordination)! They went the extra mile to make sure that we were comfortable with every step in the process. The experience I had at Karl's showed me that some dealerships do care about their customers and I look forward to my next purchase with Jamie and Karl's.

After a long day of car shopping, I finally felt at ease once I arrive at Karl Chevrolet. Maybe I was feeling more comfortable and less overwhelmed than earlier in the day, but Steve was friendly, helpful, and not too pushy. It also helped that the Malibu was exactly what I was looking for. We went back the next evening to make the purchase. My only complaint was not being told we'd need to have full coverage to take the car, since we were signing a loan contract. But luckily we're close with our insurance agent and it didn't hold up the sale. All in all, I have zero complaints and couldn't have asked for better service. Everyone was friendly and so, so helpful. Such a great experience!!

From the moment we stepped into the dealership showroom until we left after buying our new truck, we were treated with the utmost courtesy and personal service we have ever received. Our salesman greeted us immediately (we didn't feel like we were being pounced upon). Our salesman was very knowledgable, calm, patient, and attentive. We have never seen a salesman work so hard to make our deal agreeable for both sides. He did not do the dreaded hard sell that most people dread. He gave us time to talk privately when we needed to. He always explained what he was doing or checking on (we didn't sit there wondering where our salesman was). He was the only sales person we dealt with throughout the buying process (we have had a salesperson bring in his manager to add pressure at another dealership). He was above board in all the negotiations (which was a huge thing to us). He was willing to negotiate fairly with us. We will not forget that. I originally walked into Karl's with the intentions of "just looking" for a used Avalanche and entertaining the thought of trading my Nissan Titan. By the time I left, I purchased a new Avalanche. My entire experience working with Jamie Pierce was excellent. His knowledge and professionalism gave me great comfort throughout the whole process. I have never felt so sure about a purchase of a vehicle in my life, there is zero buyer's remorse here. Karl's large inventory allowed them to have the exact vehicle readily available that fit my every need, their trade allowance for my Titan was surprisingly more than expected, and their different finance options versus rebates illustrated to me that I was getting the best deal and lowest monthly payment. At Karl's they do care about the customer and the customer's best interest. From Mitch in the finance department to Luke clearly explaining the features of my new Avanche, I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Karl's has an amazing team. However, I would never had this experience if it wasn't for Jamie. He was very patient and understanding of my needs and I felt ZERO pressure to buy. I would recommend Karls and Jamie to anyone and I will most definitelty do business there again.

Upon arrival, we entered a different area and kindly were escorted to Gene's office. He showed us the used pickup we had looked at online and in conversation, options etc., soon decided a new pickup was for us! I was not sure I was going to purchase a car when I had my first interaction with Gene. I had found my dream car and was sure I would not be able to afford it. Gene allowed me to ask questions and never pressured me. I ended up purchasing my 2011 Cadillac SRX because Gene and Karl Chevrolet made me a deal I could not pass up. They were able to upgrade my car while keeping my monthly payment the same. In addition I ended up with more warranty in the deal and they paid over blue book value for my old SUV to assure that I could purchase the car of my dreams. Gene is an amazing person. He is so sweet and kind and does not pressure people to buy anything.When I came to pick up my new car, Gene cleaned out my old SUV and bagged everything up for me! I rated Karl Chevrolet with all 5's because I had such a positive experience at the dealership. This was primarily because of my interaction with Doug Nichol. I had been talking with Doug regarding the purchase of a 2012 Equinox. I let him know exactly what features I wanted on the vehicle and he was able to locate the vehicle in nearby Missouri. It had an extra feature added on that I didn't originally want. I was impressed that Doug was so patient and understanding with either decision - whether to go ahead and get the Equinox that he located or to have the option to build one to my specifications. Doug was knowledgeable and friendly without being pushy, which I greatly appreciated. I plan on using Karl Chevrolet for service and we will return when my husband and I ready to purchase another Chevy vehicle.

I've purchased 2 cars from Jay Witte and Karl Chevrolet. In both cases he was professional, easy to deal with, and most important trust worthy. I feel I got an excellent deal on both the cars I purchased and more money for my trade than I expected. Customer service has been excellent. In one case, the Internet ad for my car said that it had Bluetooth, but my car was early-model year and Bluetooth was a late addition. Jay arranged for me to have Bluetooth installed in my car free of charge. In my past experience, most dealers try and wiggle their way out of these little issues, but it's those little issues people remember.Lastly, you won't find better service anywhere. Everything is organized at Karl - they expect you and give you a good estimate on both time and cost. It's an hours drive for me, but I won't go anywhere else.

I contacted Gene looking for a 2500 Silverado HD truck and told him what I wanted and also told him about the truck I had to trade. In no time at all he called me back with an offer. We purchased a new 2011 Equinox with Gene as the sales person. We had already selected the car we wanted over the internet.Gene helped us secure the price we wanted to pay with our trade. My wife and I loved this car. It was a great car to drive and ride in. It had adequate space for legs and head room when our 6 foot, 6 inch son rode with us. We did experience numerous mechanical problems with the car. Doug and Dale (service dept) were great in getting us right in and working on the problem at that time. I did write Mr.Karl Moyer several letters about the problems and told him I thought Chev should replace the car. In the end, the car was replaced with a 2012 Equinox. We paid a very reasonable amount as part of the replacement. Mr. Karl Moyer visited with us by phone several times. We believe Mr. Moyer takes care of his customers. We believe he is a person of high integrity. Mr. Moots(new car manager) was our contact and took well care of everything we needed done. In several years we will return to the Karl Moyer Dealership to purchase another new car.

Gene was very helpful in the dealing on our new 2012 Camero. After going to the dealership for a test drive, I was never back there except to pick up the car. All the dealing was done on the phone. My husband and I went to several dealerships (including Karl Chevrolet). I test-drove two different types of vehicles (Chevy Cruze and Mini-Countryman). Of the two, I preferred the Cruze and loved the way it maneuvered! I test-drove the Cruze at a different dealership, but they didn't have the exact model I wanted and told us they wouldn't be getting one in the near future. So, my husband did some online research in hopes of finding a match nearby. He got a hit from Karl's website, so we both checked things out ahead of time, such as ratings on the Cruze; Kelly Blue Book value of the car we were considering trading in; etc. We headed to Karl's fully prepared to do some business! We had never been to their dealership, and were thoroughly impressed with the entire experience (including their facility)! The Sales & Accessories Rep, Doug Nichol, was friendly and fair, and we were satisfied with the offer made on our trade in, as well as a couple other perks included with the overall offer. My husband and I accepted, then we moved on to the finance department, where we worked with the Business Manager, Paul Schnepf. He was professional and had a great sense of humor! After we completed the paperwork, we went out to pick up my new car. Luke Bowers (sp?) showed me numerous items on the car's functionality; how Onstar works and helped me get things set up; etc. He was extremely helpful! After a couple days, I contacted Doug Nichol about an owner's manual I'd found that went with the car stereo in my trade-in which was on their lot. I told him I would really like to keep the manual with the car if possible, and asked if I should mail it to him. He said he could relate to wanting to keep those items with the vehicle, so I mailed it to him and he assured me he would take it over and put it in the car's glove box. I have experienced no problems with my new Cruze to date, and absolutely love everything about it! I'm gradually learning how everything works. I would definitely recommend Karl Chevrolet for a great "overall" experience when shopping for a new car!

I purchased a new 2012 Camaro with Gene as the sales person. I had already decided on what features and options I wanted. Gene was very friendly, courtious, polite during the whole ordering process. Had quick answer to all my questions through email and contacted me when the car finally arrive. Kept in contact after the purchase to make sure everything was going great and if I had any questions. Our family would definetly recommend Karl Cheverolet. Our Salesman, Nate Cracraft, has treated us like family from day one. We have purchased two vehicles from Karl and it will definetly be our dealer for life. We have a young son that is into everything and Nate was very understanding of that offering him coloring books and crayons while we talked. And after we purchased our vehicle Nate allowed our son to pick out and take home a rock. Brian Benson was also very good to us in making sure we were comfortable in our purchase and afterward, we stopped in after the purchase to pick up the spare key and he made that happen seamlessly. Nate and Brian worked very hard to make sure we were in the vehicle that we wanted at the price that we could afford. Nate gave us a great over view of our new car and answered all of our questions that we had, he even went to the extent of programming his number in our car and told us if questions come up just to call him anytime.After we had the vehicle for only four days I hit a deer on the way home from work. I was shocked to get a phone call from Nate making sure I was okay and offered his help. He set us up with the Collision center at Karl Cheverolet, from there we met Dave Greiff. He did everything he could to make sure we were taken care of from getting our vehicle from the tow place, to keeping us updated with all the steps of the way, to making sure everything was brand new again after we picked it up. Karl Cheverolet will definetly be our dealer for life we live over an hour away and it's definetly worth every mile.

Karl Chevrolet employees are top notch. Gene found the truck I wanted and worked hard to make sure that I would get it. When the truck arrived, I was extremely pleased. I was given a thorough briefing about all the features of my truck. When I had a question, they had the answer. The employees went the extra mile to make me feel like I was more than just a customer. They are knowledgeable and courteous. I am from a town, ninety miles away, but I get my truck serviced at Karls. They are definitely worth the drive. If I purchase another chevrolet, Karls will be my dealer of choice and Gene my salesman!

Kenny at the Quick Lube is GREAT! He is friendly and goes the extra mile to take care of the customer! Kenny noticed that my windshield wipers left stripes on my windshield, so he went back to double check their wear. They just need to be cleaned so he cleaned them. He should be promoted to Service Advisor! Andy also did a great job. He also made sure I was able to get my car washed and made very helpful suggestion for the care of my car.

Excellent people to work with. They really bend over backward to help you through the sales process. They found every rebate and incentive possible to get the best price. Their selection was better than any I have seen. If Chevy makes it they have it. The Finance officer found me a better rate than I had gotten as pre-qualification which was outstanding.

We had been looking for a car locally and was not finding what we were looking for. Our son, a previous customer of Karl Chevrolet, said to check with them. We looked on line that night and put in what we were looking for. The next morning we received a call from Jason Mickelson telling us he could get "THAT" car for us. The next day we went to Karl Chevrolet and picked up our new Equinox LTZ. We were treated very well and felt very at ease with Jason, received great financing thru Chris and hands on intructions from Luke. From the time we arrived to the time we left, everyone made a great effort to make sure we were well taken care of and that we were happy with our purchase. Jason Mickelson was awesome to work with. Although the truck we were originally interested in was already sold, when we told him there were a couple other trucks we might be interested in he set up a time so we could meet with him (even though it was his night off). Jason really listened to what we had to say about what we were looking for. He was especially great about letting us take the truck were interested in home to see if it would fit in our garage and assisting with getting the financing going while we did it. By the time we got back to the dealership, everything was ready to go and we were able to get the papers signed that night. Jason and everyone else were really patient about addressing a couple of minor concerns we had even though it was getting late.Although we had had no intention of purchasing a truck that evening we are happy with our new-to-us truck and the service that we received from Jason. He's even called twice in the past week since we bought the truck just to make sure everything is going okay which is more than many dealerships do. We would definitely be willing to refer our friends or family to Jason and Karl Chevrolet.

I had recently purchased my Cruze from Jason. We had spoken to him on the phone and emails prior to actually meeting in person and purchasing my vehicle. Once we met Jason, he was just as nice and friendly in person as he was over the phone and emails. I had the best experience ever when purchasing a new vehicle. I firmly believe that when you're buying a vehicle, the car, cost, finance, are not nearly as important as who you are working with. These things are just details. I think most people would agree that the salesperson is who truly creates a great or not so great experience. When two people want to make something happen the details will fall into place. Jason Mickelson is a perfect example of someone who wants to make something happen for you. He is on your side the whole way through and strives to make every person very happy. I remember reading a quote somewhere inside of Karl Chevrolet that said "The more you get people what they want, the more you get what you want". Jason truly desires to find you what YOU WANT. He is NOT the kind of guy that says "this is the closest thing we have now lets make a deal". He will do everything he can to find you what you want.My Experience:I had been through many dealerships and spent countless hours online looking for a truck. I am picky and I have been burned by other dealers in the past. I wouldn't call myself an ideal customer. I was in contact with Jason about my search and had let him know what I was looking for. I had done my research and knew what I wanted. On Wednesday I was at a few dealerships and stopped in to talk with Jason and check out a truck they were just getting ready for the lot. I later decided it wasn't quite what I wanted and had to leave for work. Thursday I brought in some online ads for trucks similar to what I wanted and showed them to Jason. We went to take a look at another truck on the lot and decided it again had a few things that didn't fit me and decided to keep looking. Throughout this process I can recall several instances where the following would take place. I would talk about a truck and eventually Jason would say something like: " well that truck is a good deal but I know it's not everything you're looking for and its not a GREAT deal. I want to find you what you want at a great price" He isn't trying to sell you "A" vehicle but instead "THE" vehicle for you. Off to work I went on Thursday. At this point we had discussed that I was in no hurry and did not need to buy a vehicle immediately. Jason said he would devote some time to searching for me and let me know what he finds. I returned Friday because Jason had just gotten a truck in that he knew I would like. Jason couldn't have been more right. I loved the truck and loved everything about it. The vehicle fit every one of my requirements and was exactly what I was looking for. After going for a drive I took some time to haggle with his manager and got the truck at an absolutely great price!!! Jason was on my side the entire time start to finish and was able to get me an outstanding vehicle at a great price! Furthermore the "finance guy" Mr. Stewart was excellent and was able to get me the promotional APR. Now let me point out that I was at the dealer on average 3 hours each day Wednesday -Friday and an hour on Saturday when I returned to pick up the truck. That is 10hrs of face time and I can promise you there is not another dealer or salesman in the state that is going to put that much work into one sale.! This does not include time spent searching for a vehicle for me while I was away. Throughout the entire process Jason was friendly, helpful, honest, personable, caring, enthusiastic, courteous, and always willing to do anything he can to help me out. Jason is there to sell cars but he is really your partner in finding the car for you! I highly recommend you see Jason for your vehicle needs! As their motto states, Jason and Karl Chevrolet will be my dealer for life.

I was going to Karl Chevrolet to service my vehicle and my wife and I decided to explore the possibility of trading. I also had a meeting to be at that day and after dropping off my vehicle for service I told the service manager I was thinking about trading, and he asked if I wanted to meet with a sales associate. Much to my pleasure I was met by Jason Mickelson who sold me the original vehicle that was being serviced. I discussed with Jason what I was looking for and he started to try and get me in a new vehicle that day. Jason also secured a vehicle for me to go to my meeting. Upon returning, Jason met with me and was able to get me a new vehicle that day, and also kept me appraised of what was going on during the process. I have never had a better experience in purchasing a vehicle as I had that day. Jason is the kind of sales person that will keep me coming back to Karl when purchasing another vehicle. From the moment I stopped that day, until the time I drove off with my new Equinox, Jason and his wife along with Chris Housenga (finance)and Luke (Bells & whistles guy) made me feel like I was their most valued customer. I was not actually looking to buy a new car when I visited Karl Chevrolet on Saturday. I had spoken to Jason a few times through emails and on the phone and was just looking at possible financing options and trade in values. I haven't always had the greatest experience when shopping for vehicles without my husband or my father with me. As soon as I drove on the lot I was immediately impressed with the service and friendliness of everyone. I worked with both Jason and his wife, and had a wonderful experience with them. Both were very helpful in getting all of my questions answered. I got a great deal that I couldn't refuse and bought my new Chevy Colorado! I will definitely be back for any other car purchases!

From the first contact with the pros at Karl Chevrolet i has a good/secure feeling. they listen to my concerns and described back as they listened well. they were confident they could handle the issues and in fact informed me they had Corvette specific techs. Once the service appointment was set we shoed up at the scheduled time and they carefully and thoughroly check us in. they gave us a ride home in a new and clean transport vehicle. within a short amount of time we recieved a call with a confident diagnoses and price estimate. we approved everything they suggested as it eas in complete alignment with our guesses. They made the repairs in a most timely manner and the cost was exactly what we were estimated. then they came to pick us up and bring us back to the dealership. and checkout and payment was just as pleaseant as the check in process. no surprises. this particular Corvette is a valuble collectable and cheerished by the entire family. Karl Chevrolet's team did a superb job and I will be having them do any work needed my others if/when need be. it is also the most impressive dealership I have ever seen. a wonderful experience all around. Thank you Karl Chevrolet for a job, and customer service, greatly done!!!

Bought 2 vehicles from this dealer. 2006 Toyota Avalon and 2008 Buick Enclave. I felt like I got a great price on both vehicles. The sales were very easy and enjoyable. Both cars have been great. I recently had to take the Enclave in for a repair in the body shop to fix a water leak from the roof. I took it in at 7:30 AM, and it was finished by noon. They did a great job, and because I was a good customer, and my car was out of warranty, they did a "good will" warranty repair and fixed the problem for me for free. They take care of you before, during, and after the sale, and I appreciate that greatly. I will definitely buy from Karl Chevrolet again and again.

I took my 1999 chevy silverado in because it was having trouble starting and stay running. When I dropped the truck off I ask them to also give me an estimate on fixing my 4 wheel drive, having trouble engaging and disengaging, and my tow/haul, also not always engaging and disengaging. Well they charged me about $650 for the whole deal. They replaced an oxygen sensor which fixed the running problem and then they also charged me $90 for each estimate, WHAT??? Of course they won't give you the vehicle back until you pay it all, who the heck charges for an estimate. Each of the other items was going to be about $300 to fix and the only problem was with the actual switches on the dash. Of course when the told be it was the switch with the 4 wheel drive I ask if it was the switch on the dash or in the transfer case, they said that they didn't know. So they charged me for an estimate and didn't really know what the problem was, or so they say. My father's yukon was having the same problem with the 4 wheel drive so he took his to M&M motor in Creston, IA, great place by the way, and they said they knew exactly what the problem was and put a new 4 wheel drive switch in his dash for $90, oh wait, yeah that is what I paid just for the estimate. My father then bought me a switch from M&M for $68 and I spent about 5 minutes of my time and put it in my truck. I didn't even use a tool, just my hands. Popped the dash off with my hands, pulled the switch out, plugged in the new on, and popped the dash back on. Very simple and it literally didn't take more then 5 minutes. Please do not go the Karl.
