I bought two cars yesterday for my business. These were the fourth and fifth vehicles I've purchased here since late June 2016. Brandon Johnson was my salesman again and he did a great job. I always know I'll get a fair deal from him and Tidwell. The finance department was great to work with as well. Everything was quick and easy.

The A/C on my 2012 Ford Fusion was blowing hot air. I had a 9:30 am appt. Mon. and arrived on time. I was given a service rep. who took my info and discussed the issue. I rented a car for the day and left my car with them for what I thought was the day. Mid-afternoon I called to inquire about the status and was told he would check with the tech and call back. He called back shortly and said they thought it might be a blower of some type and a diagnostic was being run right then. I told him the blower was working fine just blowing hot air. He said he would call back when diagnostic was completed. I did not hear anything more Mon. I tried to call on Tue. morning and was transferred to the service reps. voice mail. I decided to return the rental car by the 9:30 am deadline and then went to the service dept. to check on my car. I was told by another service rep. my assigned tech was off for the day but that a repair tech had been assigned but had not done anything yet. They checked further and learned there were still two cars in front of me before mine would be pulled in for checking. They said it would be late afternoon at best and maybe longer. I asked my car be brought to me and I left. The last time I wanted them to repair a shortage in the dash lights they wanted me to leave it with them at least 4 days before they would be able to look at it. I hate being lied to like the service tech I spoke with on Monday did. Jim Tidwell Ford needs to hire more repair techs so work can be done in a more timely manner. It won't be an issue for me since I will never take my car there again.

I purchased three cars from them. An Escape for my daughter, an Escape for my wife, and a Focus for my mother in law. The Escape for my wife started bucking when you accelerated and slipped out of reverse - so transmission issue. Dropped the car off on Oct 15th, was told 23 cars ahead of us and that 6 cars a day get done by Brayan Morales the service advisor. A week and weekend went by with radio silence - on Monday we called with no return call and finally got a call back on Tue saying it had not even been looked at. Today Oct 28th, we get a call that the transmission has metal in the fluid and needs to be torn down or a new one is needed for $4500. Mind you this is a car with less than 40k miles on it 36-38k is all it has on it. They told me that the car is a 2011 so no warranty - no loaner car - nothing they could do. They did say I could call Ford directly to open up a case, which I have done this morning. I feel like I bought three cars from a place that only cares about selling cars not providing a good customer experience for the life of the customer. We have to purchase two new cars in Q1 of 2017 - I can tell you it will not be from this dealership or Ford. Faulty product with no customer service past the initial sale. Very disappointing.

My wife had a 2016 Honda HR-V but it was totaled when a speeding Nissan rear-ended her at a red light. I utilized the car buying service (TrueCar) via our insurance company, USAA, to look for a replacement. I looked at a dozen plus dealers' inventories listed online to see what was available. I found 6 candidates to put in a offer request on. I heard back from every dealer with an invite to come see the cars. We looked at a couple of other dealers before going to Tidwell Ford to meet with Brandon Johnson. Tidwell had an excellent deal on a low mileage loaded 2014 Escape Titantium. Brandon had the Escape waiting for us to inspect. He patiently answered all of our questions about the vehicle. He had owned 2 Escapes and was very knowledgeable about the features on the car. The myFord SYNC system seems intimidating at first but it's an amazingly capable infotainment system that adds great value for the owners. After the Q&A and the test drive, we knew we had found our replacement. Thanks to TrueCar/USAA, we had the final price settled before we arrived. Very stress free experience! We went to Brandon's office to start the paperwork. We are waiting for the settlement from the insurance, so we financed the purchase of this Escape. Brandon introduced us to Business Manager, Muhammad Umair, who handled the financing paperwork. Muhammad is a great guy with a wry sense of humor. He walked us through our options, clearly explaining each one. We made our decision and signed the paperwork. We did purchase the ResistAll paint and interior protection package. We left the dealership owners of a new (to us) car. The ResistAll was applied this morning and we picked up our shiny, almost new, drop dead gorgeous Escape this afternoon. Brandon met us with the Escape ready to go. I wish every car purchase could be this painless and straightforward. We would definitely return to Tidwell Ford when we are in need of another car. They do have a decadent selection of Rouch Mutangs and Shelbys!

I'm searching for a car for my daughter as she will be going to college soon. Todd Goods by has been very helpful in assisting me to identify the most suitable vehicle to meet my needs and my budget. He was accepting of my inquires and eager to assist without making me feel pressured. Ford Escape was losing power and acting like it was gonna die. Took it in and after a week they said it was a fuel pump, replaced and still no fix and now it won't run. Brian from service said I would need a new transmission or could be the ECU, he was just throwing out parts to see if I would bit. After 2 weeks the service center manager Philip got involved and found the real issues, $250 more and two weeks of waiting we finally got our car back. No rental car and taking advantage of our kind mannors made them $1500 dollars for two weeks, but lost that dealership all of our and our families business for life.

We went just to test drive a 2014 Ford Focus. They didn't have the color I liked and we were set on looking elsewhere. But when Bud showed us the new ones, I fell in love. I typically do not like shopping at dealerships, but I was extremely impressed with my experience. The gentleman, Mike McKenzie, who assisted me was very helpful and respectful. He was very knowledgeable about the Ford products and used cars and overall vary helpful. I would definitely recommend Jim Tidwell Ford to anyone and to make sure they ask for Mike McKenzie.

I purchased a brand new Red 2015 Ford Mustang. On the 1 year anniversary of having my new car- a very young girl ran into the whole right side...from the door all the way back- hitting the wheel & tire etc... Scott Daniel was a signed to me! He was very kind & prompt on everything! He called when he said he would. He kepted me updated on everything. I cannot say if the service is good or bad because I didn't get that far. I called because the ignition on vehicle wasn't working and I couldn't start my car and I really needed to be seen today. The service department took all my information and told me I had an appointment at 11:30. I have my vehicle towed to the dealership and when I walk in they tell me, they may not be able to get to me today and if they do, it will be really late. They said there is no way they will be able to repair my vehicle today because it will likely need parts and their parts have to be shipped in. I asked about my 11:30 appointment and the guy said that was just an appointment to see the scheduler and there are 12 vehicles ahead of you right now with similar problems. (One would think if this problem is so common that they would have some parts on hand, but that is a different issue). He then tells me there is a $99 charge to look at my problem. He asked me if I wanted a ride somewhere. I tell him I was willing to wait to see exactly what was wrong with my vehicle but he says it was going to be a long day and they may not get to it today. At this point I'm very disappointed because I could have taken my car to another dealership closer to my house but I selected then because they gave me an appointment. The service guy then tells me they have Enterprise on site. I told him I would just wait. So I started searching for feedback on the dealership and found that the service department had a lot of bad reviews. I called a tow truck and took my vehicle to another dealership. Like I said in the beginning I can't say they are a bad dealership but I wish they would have been more forthcoming about what was really going to happen when I brought my vehicle in.

Josh was amazing. Very knowledgeable, always responded with phone calls,texts and answered any questions, worked hard for us. Greg in finance is the best ever when it comes to working hard for the customers. The banks love working with him as I expierenced the feedback from the banks. My car was losing power at highway speed, so I called to see when they could look at it since their dealership is near my workplace. They told me they could look at it early the next morning. I got a message the next afternoon that I was next in line. I didn't hear anything back the next day, and they were already closed when I called. I tried calling twice more over the next couple days to find out what was wrong with my car, how much it might cost, and when I could pick it up, and the only response I kept getting was that they would call me back. As each day passed I was accumulating rental car fees just to get to and from work. Finally I took off work to go in and talk to them in person, and they still had no answer other than that my car was 'disabled.' After more waiting in the service department, they finally gave me a $4500 estimated repair cost (plus $99 for diagnosing the problem, which, again, took 4 days longer than they told me it would). I requested that they give me back my car in the condition in which I dropped it off and reimburse me for the rental car if not the diagnosis fee, but they said they couldn't help me *unless* I also wanted to pay them to repair my car. Not likely. I paid the $99 to get my car back, plus $200 in rental car fees, and I'm left with a vehicle that is still as broken as when I dropped it off almost a week ago.

I made an appointment two days ago for them to look at a rattle in my almost new Explorer. I was told if I brought it in at 830 AM I would be one of the first in line for the techs to look at. I did so and took the shuttle back to my office. After not hearing back from them, I called around 2PM to check the status. I was told that the techs are backed up and they haven't even driven my car yet. I told him I had to have the car for the weekend and for them not to start any repairs they could not finish. My advisor called me back and left me a message that I could always rent a car for the weekend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really??? If I ran my business like they run theirs I wouldn't be in business for long. I will never waste my time at this place again and needless to say I would never buy a new vehicle there or recommend this place to even my worst enemy.

I was out shopping for a car on Monday. I found a car on TrueCar on thier lot and a few from other dealerships. Brandon Johnson was extremely helpful. After a long day of looking I finished the day back at Jim Tidwell Ford. Thank you Brandon for helping me find the right car and for being so professional. I plan on returning to try out the service department and if they are as good as the sales team I have found my dealership of choice.

Steven Thorpe, Assistant Service Manager did a great job for me on a used Volvo. Bought the car one day and the check engine ligt came on the next day. I was at the dealership the next day and Steven Thorpe took me straight back and took care of the problem. The light came back on the way home and he simply told me that he would order an original part and call me when it arrived. Steven actaully came in on his day off to help me complete the transaction. What a great guy to do business with. Made me feel like a real customer. GREAT job.....

My story starts out that I was looking for a nice used BMW. I live in Canton, so took a day and went over to Alpharetta and came back empty handed after a full day of looking. Come to find out that Jim Tidwell was holding on for me my future BMW this whole time. Drove down and Dave Flores greeted me and we took her for a test drive. I loved it so much we took it all the home to show my wife on the test drive. We had a nice chat there and back and it was just a great experience. Negotiations where quick and painless with my trade in as well. Even though they were going through construction at the time, I was kept comfortable in their facilities. Next time I will check with Dave first when looking for my next one. #mycarfromDave

The service was done quickly but expertly at a great price, everyone was friendly, and I got my oil changed with a better quality oil plus tire rotation and a 27-point inspection for only a little more than I used to pay at a non-Ford-dealer service center, with the bonuses at Jim Tidwell Ford of a cleaner and better-equipped business, faster service, and kinder/more knowledgeable staff. I feel like I can trust Jim Tidwell Ford not to lie to me about services I don't need, which has happened to me before at other non-Ford mechanics. I'll keep coming back to this dealership.

This is one of the highest trained service departments in the business. Any time i have ever heard of a rare issue with a ford vehicle, this is the department you always here recommended. I worked in the car business for over 8 years in every position up to sales manager!Recently i was staying in my North GA house for the summer and the rear window failed on my truck. With it raining every day, i was not happy that the water was coming in my truck. I called the local ford dealer because it was under warranty. They told me it would be Thursday before they could get me in. They also told me they had a truck with a similar issue and they had been working on it for over 3 weeks with it reoccurring!Luckily i had Justin's Cell number a Jim Tidwell, I sent him a text Saturday afternoon. His reply was amazing, Get here Monday morning and i will fit you in. We have fixed a lot of these. I got there at 9 am and they had my truck fixed and back to me in less than 3 hours.In the car business this is unheard of, let alone from one of the biggest dealerships around. It was never wait on us, it was more let me see how fast and high we can jump to make you happy.Well Justin and the other service employees at Jim Tidwell did just that! I don't care what the drive is i will never take my truck to another dealership again!

I was looking for a truck and had a certain one in mind. When we arrived Sunday morning, we immediately found what we were looking for and were then greeted by a Ford representative. He allowed us to take a test drive, was very caring and friendly, and really worked with us to get the price range within ours and that day we walked out being sold a great truck at the very best price we could have gotten it for. I recommend Jim Tidwell ford dealership to anyone looking for an easy, friendly and quick customer experience.

My fiance decided out of the blue that he wanted a new Ford F-250 Platinum. We found one that we really liked at Jim Tidwell Ford. We showed up that Sunday to see (and hopefully purchase ) the truck. We were greeted kindly by Chuck DeCarlo. We found out that, unfortunately, that truck had already been sold. Despite that Chuck, along with his manager Mike Stimmel, went above and beyond to find us a truck that was exactly what we were looking for! We liked the replacement that they found even better than the truck that we came in to look at! If you are looking for a new Ford, I recommend seeing Chuck DeCarlo to make that purchase!

If you are like me, you find the process of buying a new car grueling and time consuming. Between dealing with the salesperson who seems to care more about his next sell than what you really need and the lengthy paperwork, it's just not a pleasant experience. Well, I can say that I have now bought three cars at Jim Tidwell Ford and have never been disappointed by the quality of service and care that I receive. However, today's experience exceeded all of my expectation. I had Zane as my salesperson and I honestly wish I knew someone who needed to buy a car so that I could send them to him. For the first time in my life, I dealt with a car salesman who GENUINELY seemed to care more about making sure that I walked out of the dealership satisfied and with what I really needed than about just making a sale. Within minutes of walking into the building, he was offering me tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water and ensuring that I was comfortable. I made his life difficult with my tight budget and unwillingness to budge and he just worked with me tirelessly until we came to an agreement. While the process was long, it was absolutely painless and I walked out of there happy as can be. If you are looking for a car and want to deal with someone who will really take care of you, please visit Jim Tidwell Ford and ask for Zane - you won't regret it. Vanessa in finance was also an absolutely pleasure to deal with. By the time you make it into the finance department, you're exhausted from being there all day and negotiating and yet she made the time fly by and was easy to talk to while still remaining professional. I 100% recommend Jim Tidwell Ford and I know that if I ever need a car again, I will be going to see them in a heartbeat!

My husband and I have been buying vehicles from JTF for a few years now. We bought a Ford F-150 in May 2014. We came back and bought a 2015 Ford Fusion in Dec 2014! Josh and Greg were amazing!! They worked very well together and got my payments to where I wanted even if it was giving me a little more for my car and with the Ford incentives. They responded quickly to emails, text, phone calls or greeted us at the door every time we have ever been there. We have referred four people there in 2014 who also purchased their vehicles!!! The paperwork process was fast thanks to Greg!! I will continue to do business there and will keep referring friends and family!! After discussing my needs, service not only took care of everything, they made sure that I was completely satisfied. My son and I were just driving by and stopped at the Jim Tidwell Ford dealership just to look at the 2014 Ford Escape. We were greeted by Josh Harris who was nice and pleasant he allowed us to look at the vehicles. I told him that I was just looking and didnt want to work with their financial team because I had already received a quote from my credit union for an auto loan. Josh insisted that Ford finance team could bet the credit union, I of course said "I bet they cant the credit unions have the best rates". Needless to say after testing driving the 2014 Ford Escape SE my son and I were hooked. The car drove great and had all the features I was looking for with the exception of the sun roof. So I decided to take on Josh and Ford's finance team and you would not believe they did bet the credit union. Greg Richeson, F&I director, was awesome he was able to get me the car with the price I wanted as well as the bumper to bumper extended warranty and maintenance warranty!! Josh took me around the dealership and let me meet the service team, who were also very friendly. He made sure my new Ford Escape was detailed and had a full tank of gas before me driving it off the lot to its new home!!! I have to say Josh, Greg and the rest of the Jim Tidwell team are awesome. Most of all thank you Josh Harris and Greg Richeson for taking care of me and treating me with the up most customer service experience!!! By the way I called the credit union and told them about he low APR% I received and they too said OMG that was great and that could never bet that percentage. She even said she will be telling her friends and family to Jim Tidwell Ford dealership ( 2205 Barrett Lakes Blvd Kennesaw, Ga. 30144) to check out the great deals and of course to see Josh and Greg!!!

I've bought many cars and dealt with dealerships in many states, but never has the process been so easy and efficient as Jim Tidwell. I corresponded with Scott Sabulsky via a lead from TrueCar, advised him what I was looking for in the deal. When I arrived the car was out front, and once we drove it, TrueCar price was honored without a problem, Trade amount was the best offer I received, Finance was quick (very rare in 99% of dealerships) and I was out of there with a clean new car in a little over an hour.

I am so very pleased with buying my first car at Jim Tidwell. They were completely flexible and did everything possible in order to make getting my first car a reality! I needed a bigger car as I have an 8 month old. They walked through everything with me, fought on my behalf to get me the best interest rate possible and handled my trade in so well. I could not be more pleased. If you need a car, they are where to go! :)

I would STRONGLY recommend buying a vehicle at another dealership. Aside from the main issue, explained below, my car was $1400 over market value, which we were able to get down to a reasonable price. After selling me the car, I left the lot on an empty gas tank. They didnt even offer to fill it. I purchased that used car from Jim Tidwell about 6 weeks ago. The car only came with one key. Being that it is a used vehicle, I can understand that. I requested we have a second key made through Honda Carland who I have used for about 10 years now. At the table, when purchasing the vehicle, there were a lot of courtesies in which my sales rep explained I would receive. He agreed to purchasing the key from Honda Carland at Jim Tidwell Ford's expense and I would pay for the programming. That sounded fair. He told me the key would be ready to be cut that Thursday (72 hours later). When that Thursday arrived, I called my sales rep to investigate the spare key situation. He began sputtering, hesitating and blaming others for not even getting started on the process. He assured me everything would be arranged by that following Monday. When I called him the following Monday, he began making excuses again. As an apology, he said they would pay for both the key and the programming because it had taken so long. But in order for him to pay for all of the key services I had to go to Cars.com and write 3 positive reviews using his name and Jim Tidwell Ford's name in the reviews. To me, that sounds very dishonest. Blackmail-ish even. I told him I would get back with him on how I wanted to approach the situation. When I called again, I left 3 messages over a span of 3 days expressing my concern for the status of the key arrangements. About two weeks ago, I called one final time and explained I was going to have to speak with the used cars manager instead of him. He said he had been in the hospital for a couple of weeks. The dates didnt match up because the last call I made where I actually spoke with him would have lined up with when he was "in the hospital." I spoke with a used cars manager at Jim Tidwell about 10 days ago. He was very apologetic about everything that had gone on. He wrote up a contract for reimbursement of my costs if I got the key made myself. So I had a key made at Honda. The contract stated that upon arrival with the receipt from Honda I would receive reimbursement for the key. So I just drove up there, about 30 miles from my home, after calling to notify them I was on my way to receive the reimbursement check for Jim Tidwell. When I got there no one knew anything about the contract the gentleman wrote up with me. I spoke with another used cars manager, Dan, and he said they would process it and i would have my check soon, but not today. That is an immediate violation of contract. I drove 30 miles to be told I would receive my payment at their convenience, after getting approval to receive the check today. I asked for a copy of my contract, which should be on file. Dan explained how difficult it would be to get it, How long it would take him to do it, and he told me it wasn't his issue. He said you can speak with someone else if you want. I was treated SO poorly throughout this whole experience. If I were able to give them no stars, I would. This place is dishonest, inconsiderate, and not welcoming. Apparently, I am not the first person who has had this experience, according to other reviews and a family friend who found us the car there shortly after he purchased his Ford Focus.

The dealership sold me a certified used car that was horribly dirty, the dash had soda spilled inside it, around the arm rest, seat belt stains, and I didn't notice had stains on the rear seat. The rear seat was also later ruined by the window tint guy and the dealership promised me a USED seat and never delivered on that promise (now 4 months later). Was given 3 free oil changes for my problems but when I took my car in for service, they returned it to me with oil spilled all over my engine bay and fender. My car began to smell very bad after the second month, once I started using the AC and I found that my cabin air filter was nearly black and disgustingly dirty, when I gave it back to the dealership they purchased me a new one that they had to order because they didn't have any in stock. My throttle body also went out after the third month of owning the Certified Used car, luckily the dealership took care of that and put me in a rental. The general manager told me he would work with me to get me out of my car but still didn't deliver on that promise after 3 weeks. If you want to be treated like a number, I fully recommend this dealership. You will just be another check mark on their sales board. Update 1:Dealership is working very hard to make previous problems right. They have found me a better fitting vehicle and will be delivering on all promicies from previous statements. They are showing that they truley care about the situation and have tried very hard to make me happy.Jonathan is a great salesman and has helped work with me throughout the whole process, if you do go by the dealership, I would tell you to deal direclty with him. He isn't a push over salesman that only cares about the sale.Update 2:The General Manager and Pre-owned Sales Manager worked extremely hard to make this whole deal right for my family and I. The dealership showed a great improvement from my first visit and I do 100% appreciate all the work everyone put into my new car. The pre-owned sales manager used many resources to ship me a car extremely quickly once we found the right one and to fulfill all promises. They made me very happy today when they called me with my 3rd and final update telling me my new car had just arrived and worked even harder to get me in and out of the dealership within an hour after we agreed on the new car. Thank you again Jim Tidwell Ford, keep moving in this direction!

We purchased an F350 Power Stroke Diesel brand new from this dealership in 2012. The buying process was fairly simple, and we have no complaints there. Had a great selection to choose from, and we got the truck we wanted. The service department here is another story. I don't know if it that they have so much work, and not enough time to get to everyone, or what the deal is....but dealing with them is always frustrating. The truck had a serious issue last week, and I needed to speak with someone in service. I was told everyone was unavailable, and that someone would call me back in approx.15 minutes. No problem! I understand that things get busy...however that was 4 days ago, and I am still waiting for a call back. I called another Ford dealer in the area, and someone picked up immediately, answered my questions, and seemed honestly interested in helping me rather than taking a message and having someone "get back to me."

My brother and I went to this dealership last weekend just to look as I was ramping up to buy myself a used truck. Upon arriving we spotted a used 2002 Ford 150 in excellent condition. Shortly after arrival, Tim came out to greet us and he let me take the truck on a test drive. I had been researching online for a few weeks and could tell that we were being offered a great deal. So my scouting trip turned to a purchasing trip. Time helped us through the process and Vanessa in the finance department went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me to secure decent financing. She was amazingly helpful and I appreciate every effort she put in to making it work for me. Charles in the service department ensured that all of my "we owe's" were completed and the service was exceptional. I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership to anyone that asks and even those that don't.

was looking for a car to buy from them. told me to come over that the car was available. Came in, found out the car had just been sold. Well they suggested i look around. found another car, liked it so i proceeded to buy..after the whole process I couldn't get approval from the bank yet and was told to take the car home and that everything would be fine. One the original agreement I had the GAP insurance and warranty on the car. I then get a call a month later saying "i'm approved for it come and sign , that's all you need to do". not knowing the original terms had been altered and the GAP was removed as well as the warranty.. unfortunately I got into a wreck, and thought at least I have the GAP insurance. Only for me to go there and they tell me "oh no the bank did not approve you for the GAP insurance". So they decided to hide that info. making me believe that terms stayed the same (now having to pay a car note on a car that is totaled) so they could make the sale. Very selfish and deceitful people only care about themselves... I regret doing any form of business with them and wouldn't recommend them to anyone because of that.

Just recently purchased a used Mazda CX-7 from this dealership and the process was extremely fast and efficient. The car had a major crack throughout the entire windshield and the dealership agreed to replace at no charge. I would definitely come back here in the future to purchase a car.

Bought a used car from JTF(3rd one in a year), and where do I begin explaining why you should not buy a used car from them. Communication between departments, plain and simple it doesn't exist. Finger pointing and claiming ignorance seem to be the method of choice here. Below is a breakdown of the first few weeks with my recently purchased car. December 20th Bought a 2011 used car December 23rd turned the car over to the Sales Manager(Dan Higgins) for a nail in the tire. Not going to even go into how that could have been missed by their multipoint inspection they claim to do. Asked Dan to pass to the service department to check the rear sunshade and seal on the window. December 28th : Receive an email from the service department saying the car is done (no call from sales) December 29th: Go in to find nail still in tire(was told an alignment was done) Rear shade and seal on back window were not addressed. Everyone I spoke with acted as if it was the first time hearing these problems. Dan I personally told you about these issues! Dan suggested that the nail shouldnt present a problem and that I could take the car to a Dodge/Chrysler dealership myself(Should have done this) Since I bought the car from them I saw that it should be their responsibility to fix it so I left it with them. I was assured that my car would go into the service department first thing Monday(30th). December 30th: Happen to drive by the dealership, car still in the same parking spot. December 31st: I called for an update, was told they had an appointment with Chrysler dealership in Canton(Dont go to Cherokee Chrysler Dodge in Canton, but thats a different story). Come to find out that wasnt the case. As I was told by Tina in the service department, the sales department casually gave her the keys on the 31st presumably after I called asking the status of my car. January 6th: Still dont have car back and find out that the dealership in Canton was never told about the rear window seal. Told the dealership to finish what they were currently working on and that I was picking the car up tonight. If this is how they treat their repeat customers I fear for you if this is the first time you buy from them and you run into an issue. I will now be taking my car to a dealership that has a service department that can handle the workload.

I came in to Jim Tidwell Ford late Saturday with a problem with my 2011 F 150 Ecoboost. I did not think the truck would make it home. I was afraid I would cause more damage by driving it. I tried to get a rental car so that I could make it home. Unfortunately all of them were closed. The salesman Patrick McCloud asked me how I was doing. I told him I was not too happy and informed him of my situation. He asked that I come inside and he would see what he could do. He then brought the General Sales Manager George Figueroa over and I explained my situation. Mr. Figueroa said that they could loan me a vehicle to get home, he asked that I treat it as my own and returned it with the same amount of fuel that it currently had. Again I was not buying a vehicle, just getting mine fixed. These two went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and got home safely. My next vehicle purchase will be at Jim Tidwell Ford.

After receiving the word that our 13 year old daily driver was going to need several repairs, we decided that it had reached the end of its life, and we were faced with buying a new car. We had already decided that we wanted to look at small crossover SUV's, and were going to look primarily at the Honda CRV and Ford Escape. We stopped by Jim Tidwell Ford and were met by Mike McKenzie. Mike was extremely personable, and really listened to what we were looking for. He asked my wife and I several questions, not to try to drive us to something different, but to really try to understand just what it was that we were looking for and what was important to us. He explained the various differences between the different trim levels of the Escape and allowed us to fine tune our requirements. We then drove one to get a feel, and to make sure that the seat, seat belt, sight lines, etc., met my wife's expectations. During the process we explained that we were looking at a few different makes and models, and also that we had access to a major warehouse club buying service. Mike encouraged us to take a close look at all of the cars we had on our short list. He also explained that they could meet or beat the warehouse club pricing. We left to explore a couple of other options. Later that day, after test driving one of the other options we were looking at, we decided we really needed to go back to re-drive the Escape. We called Mike to see if he was going to be there, and he was. We went back, really fine tuned to the exact trim level we were looking for, and then took the car for a good test drive. During that time, they took a look at our trade-in. When we returned, Mike asked us to wait just a minute, and then returned with the details of their offering price. They were able to beat the warehouse pricing, and offered us a very fair trade-in price for our car. There was no haggling, no going back and forth to the sales manager, or any of the headaches often encountered with buying a car. Their offer was very fair, and we just felt entirely comfortable with the entire process. We handshook on the deal, and then, since it was almost 7:30 in the evening and we hadn't eaten, we asked Mike if we could come back the next day when they opened to finish up the paperwork. He most graciously said yes, and the next morning we returned to the dealership and had a very pleasant experience in closing the deal. Mike took the time to make sure the car had been detailed to our satisfaction, and explained all of the various features in greater detail. When (not if) we are ready to buy another vehicle when my current truck needs replacing, we will certainly go to Jim Tidwell Ford and use Mike McKenzie again. It was without a doubt, the best car buying experience we have ever had.

I had searched for a particular 2013 F150 with several options and could not find it locally. I found it in 3 other states and had been working with the different dealers. However, I finally found it at Jim Tidwell and called the dealership. Mike C. was fantastic guy. He made the deal work for me without having to go out of state as I had done on the last 2 vehicles I had purchased. He went above and beyond his job to get the deal I wanted and when we went to pick up the vehicle my husband wanted an extra feature and he stayed until 2 hours past closing to get it handled. Most salesmen would have just said they would get it done the next day. Not Mike, He took care of it! Thanks for a great job!

After making a deal by phone and coming to an agreed upon price, I drove 7 1/2 hours to arrive at the dealership. It was very pleasant to arrive there and not be surprised. I can say the honesty and integrity were confirmed when unlike many other similar experiences, this one went very smooth. The price was exactly as agreed, the trade was exactly as agreed and there were no hidden charges. This is the required part of a large transaction after driving so far that I need to make a successful sale. I should have known by how prompt and informed I was kept before even leaving to make the trip. The icing on the cake was the fact that I was treated outstanding and felt my salesman (Brandon Johnson) and sales manager (Mike McKenzie) were down to earth and there to do a great job. I would definitely drive twice as far to get the same treatment. However, next time I would feel comfortable enough to just have them ship a vehicle to me. Thank you very much and I hope to have business with Jim Tidwell Ford in the future.

A little over a week ago I was browsing through the used vehicles on the website, I found two suv's that caught my attention. The following night I stopped by to take a look. As soon as I stepped out of my truck, I was greeted by a kind and sincere smile. First impressions are important to me and being a woman in a male driven industry such as car sales, I'm inclined to feel uneasy. The sales associate I refer to is Jody Sexton, he listened closely and the next thing I know we're going for a test drive. During the drive I listed my needs and negotiated an offer. He was very personable and made me feel at ease. Once we returned to the dealership we sat down and began going over further details and we came to an agreement. Pretty much all my requests were honored and since it was late in the evening, I agreed to return the next day for further discussions. I also needed to do further research on the vehicle and do price comparisons with surrounding dealers. Jody followed up with me first thing the next morning and I went in with my research findings. I had a few minor concerns regarding the Carfax report I pulled from their website and asked if I could borrow the vehicle so that my mechanic could take a look at it. Without hesitation, Jody was fine with that and told me to take as long as I'd like. So with that, I was able to get a second opinion from a Ford expert (Hector, at American Service Station atMars Hill Rd.) With the exception of a few cosmetic issues along with two other minor mechanical ones, I was given a thumbs up and returned to the dealer ready to sign the dotted line. With my conditional list of repairs at hand, I began negotiations. I ended up getting more for my trade-in than expected, my monthly payment was very close to what I requested, interest rate was reasonable(much lower than the original offer) and the list of repairs were all agreed to as well. Jody even threw in 2 full tanks of gas, one of which he filled the same day! So off to the finance dept. where Tim takes over and makes all the paperwork easy to understand. I was offered a reasonably priced warranty and body damage coverage that was hard to pass up. I drove off the lot in a safer and much reliable vehicle than what I had which gives me a priceless peace of mind. Overall I had a very positive and pain free experience. I won't hesitate to recommend this dealership and most importantly Jody! He also followed up with an email checking in which was a nice touch. As a single woman I feel that I was treated fairly and most importantly with respect. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my list of repairs has not yet been completed and I have not received a call from the service dept. but I will follow up with a final review once all the work has been done. They have 30 days, so stay tuned... Update: This past week I got in touch with Jeremy Smith, general mgr, he got me in touch with Tina Lux from the service dept. I took in my vehicle the same day and she was like meeting an old friend...welcoming, accommodating and very courteous. She set me up with a comp. car rental with Enterprise(thanks Brian!) while the minor repairs were addressed. By the next day my Edge was ready and when I went to pick it up I met up with Jody. We touched base and it felt like I was stopping in to visit old friends. I couldn't be happier with the final outcome. If I could rate Jim Tidwell Ford along with Jody, Jeremy and Tina a 10 I would! Thanks to you all for being a stand up professional place that followed through with all that was promised and much more!!!

I went to look at a dodge challenger that I was looking at on the website when I was approached by Jody he made it very easy for me to make the decision to purchase the vehicle that day. I felt no pressure to purchase that day was a great experience through the whole process. This was my second car I've bought from Tidwell and the third from my family.

I recently purchased my beautiful Ford Explorer Limited from Mike McKenzie and Brandon Johnson at Jim Tidwell. The entire experience was a great one. Mike and Brandon were patient and really worked very hard to find me the car I wanted. The customer service was excellent and these two guys made the car buying experience very pleasant. I trust them and would highly recommend them to anyone. The dealership is clean, well organized and there are only professional people that work there. A bad experience at another Ford dealership almost turned me off of Ford, but these guys and this dealership turned it around for me. We will be back to buy my husband's mustang ;)

Jody Sexton recently helped me shock my wife with a CPO 2013 Ford Edge. He wasn't pushy or interested in getting me out the door. He listened to my concerns and I told him that if he was willing to work with me and be honest, I would buy a car today. He did exactly that and went to bat for me to get the car I wanted, and the trade in value needed. My wife, who was 7 1/2 months pregnant, had missed lunch and started getting restless and sick, Jody picked up on this and showed her to their Breakroom where there were a few pizzas and gave my wife a few slices. Just bought a 2010 mustang here & had been searching for months for the right car. I was to the point of giving up because I was so stressed. Stopped by Jim Tidwell one day & a salesman named Bud greeted me & was so friendly & helpful. He got my contact information to call me when the right car came in for me. Asfar as the original buy,it was ok..It's the month following that has been an extreme headache.THe sales guy Patrick called me 3 times to follow up,which is protocal and was fine...I got a letter in the mail saying the original bank,(the one that's on my contract) declined me.This is 25 days later after my purchase.So I call Tim and ask what's going on.He said "Oh yeah,the original bank didn't accept so i went ahead and I switched you to another lender.." I said "Ok,that's fine,but why didn't you call and tell me this?" He said "Oh,I tried to but I think I had the wrong number for you.." Riggggght.So your salesman does the protocal 3 calls after the sale but you "didn't have the right number for me" to inform me you switch lenders.Mind you,it's 25 days after purchcase and have yet to recieve a call on the issue.I bet if I owed them 1 penny,they could find my num real quick...ALSO,today,is 28 days after my purchase and yet to recieve my tag.I've called "Melissa" the "girl who deals with all of that" 3 times and left 2 messages and haven't gotten a call back.I called my local county tag office..and they say "SIR,WE DON'T EVEN HAVE A RECORD OF THEM EVEN STARTING THE PROCESS OF SENDING IT" I said "so what if you don't receive it by the 30 days" she said then you'll have an EXPIRED tag and we can't issue a temp tag" THis is ridicolous!I was "such a great guy" when they wanted my cash but now I'm out the door,I can't get a returned phone call on my issues.I'm usually not one to write a review but in this case...people be aware

I bought my2014 mustang from Jody Sexton, and it was the best car buying experience I've had in 40 years of buying cars. Jody is a really nice guy and helped me find what I was looking for at the price I was willing to pay with no sales gimicks or pressure. I'm not a snap-decision maker...I'm a planner. But, when I do make a decision, I am all about getting it done, and done right the first time. I had been casually looking for an ST3-equipped PB (Performance Blue) Focus ST for the last 4 months. When I searched on cars.com, JTF had one that was a perfect match. After completing the online inquiry, I was contacted promptly by a sales person, but after a few minutes of conversation it was clear that he was new to the Atlanta area and didn't really know much about cars..let alone Fords. I am a hard-core PetrolHead. Now that certainly wasn't a pre-requisite for buying a car..it just makes the experience better. We're a unique breed :) He provided a verbal quote on the vehicle, and the price was good. He also warned me that it might not be available for long, and he was right. Then I did not hear from him for 2 days...meanwhile the PB Focus ST sold. I discovered this on my own by checking inventories online, and then confirming it over the phone. I hung up and wondered if I was supposed to be going down this road at all (pun intended). I got a call back from Brandon, who picked up the ball from there and took it to the goal line. He located another identical vehicle at one of their affiliated stores in Pensacola, confirmed the price and discussed my trade over the course of a few more quick phone calls. I came in on a Saturday morning with my car, got the trade-in appraisal and completed the loan details/paperwork in just a few hours time. The sales process was very low-key, not rushed and well executed. Everyone I spoke to was courteous and professional. Brandon provided me with a new Focus SE 5-speed to drive for 72 hours while my PB ST was being brought up from Pensacola. To me that was a big plus, as I was able to familiarize myself with the overall driving dynamics of the Focus platform, and become acclimated to the vehicle before getting behind the wheel of the ST, which is a pocket rocket! Finally, The business manager was not your typical 'Fi-Guy", and pulled a few tricks out of his hat to provide me a low APR and an ESP warranty, staying withing the boundary of the monthly payment I initially requested based upon the overall numbers. The ST arrived in 72 hours, as promised. I brought the SE back, finished the transaction and sped away (literally) a very happy customer. The last new, and only other Ford I've owned was an Escort GT in 1988, and being from Michigan I am ecstatic to have a blue oval in my garage once again.

I found the used 2010 Chevy Colorado with 12700 miles on it through Cars.com. Offered at Jim Tidwell Ford in Kennesaw, Ga. A 187 mile trip for me. They called me on a Sunday morning to let me know the vehicle was still there, and that my time would not be wasted in driving down to see it. The truck was all I hoped it would be, nicely detailed, and I was offered a fair price for my trade-in. My salesman Patrick and I were able to cut a decent deal and the purchase was made. Salesman Patrick and Finance officer Amber were courteous, and respectful to this senior citizen and Viet Nam era veteran, and I left the dealership with the knowledge that I got a decent deal and was well treated. I would recommend Jim Tidwell Ford to anyone in the market for a new or used car.

Found a used Chevy Colorado LT2 2010 model with only 12,700 miles on it at Cars.com. The pictures of it were great, as was the description. So I notified JTF that I was interested. They called me to let me know the vehicle was still available, so since they were open on Sunday, I made the 187 mile trip down. The truck was all I hoped it would be, they offered a fair price on my trade-in, came down some on the asking price, and a decent deal was reached with Patrick, my friendly and courteous and non pushy salesman. Papers were signed with equally friendly and courteous Amber in the finance dept. The truck was already nicely and properly detailed by the shop staff, and I drove it home with the feeling that this senior citizen Viet Nam era veteran was well treated at Jim Tillman Ford. Hopefully this truck will be pulling this retiree's fishing boat for years to come.

The day prior I contacted Robert Lavoie, Internet Salesman and exchanged emails to request a test drive of a specific vehicle the morning of May 24, 2013. That morning I confirmed by phone appointment for 11:00 AM. Arrived on time. Was told Manny, the sales manager would meet with me and provide "first class service." Never met Manny and vehicle was nowhere to be found. After a half hour the salesman came to me and said sorry. I left, emailed and called only to get Robert Lavoie's voicemail. Over two hours later, no follow-up from dealership. Oh well, must not need my business.

They did an engine recall and then less than a month later motor blew they stated it was something I must have done to break it because they could not have possibly damaged an engine. I have never had a problem out of this engine nor this car until I took it to them and there are no light on the dashboard nor the message center on the dashboard. How is that??? attempted to inform them and they stated I should speak with my insurance because they may cover the damage to the engine.

went to buy a used car on the lot seen the one i wanted(2011 focus) went inside to do the paper work and they were trying to sell me a totally differant car than the one i looked at luckly for me i noticed something wasnt right with the deal so i went back out on the lot and looked at the car that i was wanting vin # is was not what was on the paer work they were going to seel me a car that had not even been cleaned up yet and were stalling so they could hurry up and clean it will never go here again if its the last ford dealership in ga ! and i wouldn't advise anyone else to go either if you do write down the vin #of the car your buying cause they will try to sell you a differant car then try to blame it on you

I had been interested in the Edge for a long time, but it just wasn't in my budget. But when I noticed the fantastic deals Jim Tidwell had to offer, my husband and I couldn't resist. The entire car buying experience tends to make me a little nervous, but I couldn't have asked for a better experience than I had at Jim Tidwell Ford. Mr. Warren was kind, patient, and answered all our questions. He listened to what I was looking for, and both he and the finance department did everything in their power to meet our needs. I can't recommend this dealership or Mr. Warren enough. If you're in the market, or just looking, please make the trip. You won't regret it!

This is the 2nd very good buying experience I have had at Jim Tidwell Ford. The sales staff is very friendly, they are not pushy, and they genuinely seem like they are there to help you, not themselves. The trade in offer they made was decent and their price for both used cars I have purchased from them was very fair...both times better than all the other competitor's prices. I am very satisfied with both of my buying experiences with them and will continue to take my business there in the future.

I found the listing on Ebay for the car I really wanted. I have a friend who works for a local (Birmingham) Ford dealership and I asked his opinion of the car, price, and Jim Tidwell Ford. He said I couldn't go wrong since the car I wanted was very specific, so I had a friend drive me over to Georga (over 3 hours) to talk to Mr. Warren. He was friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. Having bought a vehicle at the beginning of the year from JT, I had expected to have another great car buying experience with them. The sales man who helped us seemed to really know his cars but even more importantly, he was genuinely interested in making sure we would be happy with this purchase... They held onto my trade in for about 3 weeks; apparently something came up financially within this time and the only way we found out was because *we* made contact with them. So I was skeptical now about how they operate but we go in and we do what we need to do to remedy the financial situation and we emphasize that the trade-in payoff needs to get there within 2 weeks and I'm "guaranteed" it would be overnighted...I called about a week later to let them know it had yet to be received by the other finance company (at this point, my trust with JT was broken; such a disappointment because I absolutely love my first purchase with them). It was about 2 weeks after that that the car was finally paid off! Whether it was miscommunication between the lady we filled out paperwork with and the person who sends the payoffs out, or they just slacked or whatever it was on their end, the car winded up being over 30 days late and (needless to say) severely effected our credit. Since we had the new purchase looked at and when my boyfriend brought this issue up with the finance manager, was told that he would "check into it and see what [he could do to fix our credit]," I've called several times over the last month and I know of at least two times my boyfriend called. I've left voicemails and messages with the receptionist specifying for them to call me back and...nothing. Only the other day did I *finally* receive a contact back and whomever called didn't even have the decency to leave a message or try calling me again. Based on this experience, no recommendation can be given except for if you're going to buy: beware, use caution.

Very attentive to our needs, also very caring. I ended up in the hospital with double pneumonia after my initial contact with the dealership via email. Brandon emailed me a couple of times to see how I was doing. That was the deciding factor for using this dealership :)

My wife and I were looking for a new car to replace her Yukon XL. We made several visits to Tidwell Ford and worked with Dick Warren. We told him we were going to go test drive other cars, including the Toyota Highlander. We appreciated the fact that Dick was very low/no pressure. He was very helpful and not pushy at all. We went through several iterations of what we wanted but ended up being very satisfied after a lengthy search with our new Limited. Couldn't be happier. All of the people at the dealership were great.

Dick was extremely patient and helpful. Even when there were other customers looking at the car I wanted, he still made it happen. The man jumped through hoops to get me into my RX-8. Me being a first time buyer made my payments a bit higher than I would have hoped for, but nonetheless, it was a great experience, and Dick made sure to find every single way to get me where I wanted to be. We found a car online there almost 3 months ago. We drove from out of state and paid for it in full. We have yet to receive the title to the car and haven't been able to purchase a tag for the car as well. Andy Lee has done nothing but give us a run around since then. We have never had such a bad experience after purchasing a vehicle.

After browsing the inventory at the this dealership, I was approached and helped in a timely manner. The salesperson was happy to answer all of my questions and spend the approriate time with me. I did not feel pressured at any point to purchase a car or make a hasty decision. After deciding to purchase a car, my salesperson was patient and stayed with me throughout the entire process. I did feel that I got a good deal -maybe not as low as I would have wished, but overall I was satisfied with the final price and I did think the price was better when I compared to other similar vehicles for sale in the area. The only major drawback of my experience was that the car purchasing process took a very long time. I was there on a Saturday, and it took a total of almost 6-7 hours.

Richard "Dick" Warren was THE BEST salesman. He was straight forward, informative, honest and patient with us the entire day. We never felt like we were being "sold" a car- he just offered the facts and gave us time to make decisions. I highly recommend this dealership and especially this sales associate. We bought a beautiful car from him and he saw it through til the end including "touch-ups" and detail work. He was wonderful and I have to commend Jim Tidwell Ford to hiring such a friendly professional associate.

Took my 2003 Ford Excursion in for a tune-up (change the plugs) $300+. It was running fine but I bought it used on 1/26/12 with over 126,000 miles. When I got back from them it was running terrible! They busted a COP and wanted $600 to fix it!!! They agreed to fix their work for another $189.00? They break and you pay!

Our experience with Jim Tidwell Ford was excellent! Scott was wonderful. Truly a great salesman! He made our experience wonderful! We had a slight problem with the Sync system after we bought the truck, but they fixed it as quickly as possible. Overall, our experience was great! Looking forward to buying a new Edge from them in the next couple of years. :-)

I recently bought a used expedition. It had a five issues. They fixed three of them but I was so frustrated I just wanted out. I paid cash for the car. The reason I paid cash is because my credit isnt good. A year and a half ago my score was 745. I had a bad year but I am recovering nicely. I am a very proud person and didnt want them looking at my credit. The sales person said it was required by homeland security. He called it a "soft pull". The finance guy said it was corp. policy for people paying cash. I sat there red faced and embarrased as the guy reviewed my credit. He asked how much my mortgage payment was. He then offered me warrenties etc. Today, I received a letter in the mail today from Tidwell explaining why I was refused credit. I DIDNT ASK FOR CREDIT. My seat is still loose and I bought a $74 part from Northpoint ford to fix the other issue myself. I expect to have my credit fixed next year and will be in the market for a new explorer. Not at this dealership!On the plus side, they did put new tires and a full tank of gas in the car. The detail dept did a fantastic job. If they had asked me, would I consider financing? I would have explained my situation and not wasted anyones time and maintained some pride.

We went there to look at a 2007 Toyota Prius that they had just gotten in. The car was in great shape and fully decked out and the price was very good. We spoke with our salesperson and he went out of his way to make us feel welcome! Everyone that we have spoken or dealt with has made us feel that we made the right choice in coming to this fine dealership. Dick Warren, our salesperson, should be highly commended for being so friendly and appraochable. He is a genuine asset to Jim Tidwell and they should do all they can to keep him around for a long time!We had a small glitch with the car the first day we had it and they were on the spot with making sure that everything was perfect. Their service department is top notch.

I still would recommend this dealership because I have had good experiences there. I wanted to purchase either a Ford Edge or a Nissan Murano today. Our sales person had a neutral attitude at the beginning. While sitting down to purchase a selected class of Ford Edge, he was forceful and did not want to negotiate. Perhaps he thought I was too young, and that I was making ridiculous offers. After talking the price over several times, he kept on reiterating that I do not know anything about the car businesses to make any type of assumptions about how much the car should cost. Finally, I offered a final price on the car, and he went to his manager to obtain approval. The offer from his manager was one thousand dollars higher than the price I wanted it for. I needed a car, but I decided not to purchase the Ford Edge. I drove across the street and bought a Nissan Murano. The staffs at the Nissan dealership were friendly, and my sales person matched the TrueCar value I had obtained from a website. I paid $34,000 OTD. Although it was 1000 dollars higher than the Ford Edge, I enjoyed my experience at Nissan. Perhaps I had a bad sales person, or perhaps Jim Tidwell Ford does not value customer service as well as other dealers.

We were traveling from Traverse City, MI to Kennesaw. We stopped at a dealer near Knoxville, TN because our 2010 f-150 super crew truck was making a grinding noise. We had just bought it on Friday. We brought it into your dealership on Monday afternoon. Told them that the dealership in TN told us it needed a rear differential clutch. After keeping our truck for 3 days, your dealership said Ford would not allow you to replace the clutch only to change the fluid which was missing an additive. We picked the truck up late Wed and left at 5am on Thursday to head home. Around 200 miles north it started the grinding noise again. I called our dealership here, Fox Motors in Traverse City. They said to bring it in right away which we did this morning (Friday). They gave us a rental car and they were appauled that your dealership never offered this being that the truck only has 11k miles and all of this was under warranty. We took the rental car and went about our business. Only about 2 hrs later we received a call, our truck was fixed. There was a bulletin issued for the f-150 about the rear differential clutch, which your dealership never even looked into. And there wasn't any additive needed in the fluid. We only had 3 days with our daughter and it was with a great stress. I am sickened by the lack of service and ineptability of your staff. Disappointing isn't the exact word even. I am letting my daughter know NOT to go to your dealership for anything!

I saw a 2011 Ford Focus online and inquired about it. Upon calling in reference to the car, I spoke with a rep. and decided to drive up there. I live about 2 1/2hrs from the dealer but it was well worth the trip! They told me they would work with me on my trades and they did just that. The APR that they were able to get me was several points lower then what i was expecting, due to my credit history. The price was lower then KBB and NADA so all in all I believe i got a good fair deal! The people there were very friendly and honest, good down to earth people! Thanks again to the folks there at Jim Tidwell Ford, And I recommend to anyone to atleast stop by and check them out! Greg

What a great dealership to buy your next new or preowned car or truck. This is my second vehicle I have bought from Jim Tidwell Ford and I can tell you first hand that nobody will work harder to get you into the vehicle that you want at a price you can afford. Andy Lee is the General sales manager and even though the dealership was packed with customers he still found time to work with us and kept us informed with every step of the buying process. Dick Warren was also very helpful with making the deal possible. He was very helpful in showing us how the "Sync" worked and how to program everything. We live in Dalton Georgia and it's about a 90 minute drive to Jim Tidwell Ford in Kennesaw Ga. but It's well worth the trip. It's nice to know that there is still a car dealership that treats the customer like friends. Thank you Andy and Dick, We will be back

We have bought 3 vehicles from Tidwell but have not used the service department very much. We bought our 2010 Escape from Tidwell in March of this year. It had less than 30,000 miles on it. Had been extremely happy with the car until it died on Highway 92. After letting it sit for a few minutes, it started back up and I made it home. The following day, I did not think anything about it due to a current family crisis and drove the car to work and then had to go to Smyrna. It died on me on I-75! I called for a tow truck and by the time it got there, the car started. Since the tow truck driver smelled of alcohol, I chose to drive it home and thankfully made it.I then took it to Mike in the service department of Jim Tidwell Ford, where I was informed the part needed was not covered under warranty, since it was over 36,000 miles. Mind you, I have had the car LESS than a YEAR! It did not even have 40,000 miles when I took it in!! I did not see any concern that my CAR DIED ON THE INTERSTATE!!! For a LESS than two year old car to have this kind of problem so early, I just wonder if it will make it to 100,000 miles. I am very disappointed in the car, (which I really loved until now), and with the NON-service at Jim Tidwell.

I went to 5 other dealerships in pursuit of my new vehicle before I went to Jim Tidwell. Steven went over and above to secure me the best possible deal. After it looked like we were at an impasse, they called me the next day and said they had kept at it and found some other ways to make the numbers work out exactly where I needed them to be. I've heard many dealerships say "we want your business", it is quite another thing entirely for a dealership to PROVE they want your business. These guys are the best and I would recommend them to anybody.

Set appt to see a vehicle at 6:15pm on 8/13 (given code) Drove 2hrs on the 8/14 and got there "Sold it at 8pm last night". Then wanted to offer another vehicle~~~~Older, more mileage and nothing close. DISHONEST AND NOT TRUSTWORTHY! Believe it was all a set up to get us there......Guess cash money doesn't mean anything anymore.

Everyone was very helpful in getting us into a vehicle we were happy with as well as meeting our price point. Even though it was very busy that day, everyone remained very professional and kept us informed as to what was going on. The kid friendly area was wonderful to have while we were waiting with our 2 young children.

Best service EVER!! If you go there then you must ask for Tim Davis. He could not do enough to help us and made the whole experience great. We had the whole family with us and the kids were made to feel very welcome, there lounge and play room are very kid friendly. The finance guy we dealt with was James Miskell, he worked so hard to get us a great deal and was a delight to deal with. Thank you Tim & James we love our new car.

We found the 2011 Mustang we had been looking for on there web site. Called spoke to Mike. Hoped a plane to Georga, Mike picked us up at the airport. Drove us to the dealership. He showed us the car told us all about it, Then we took it for a drive. Loved it. great place to work with. Everone one was very friendly. For the 4th time now and certainly the last time I have allowed the staff at Jim Tidwell Ford in Kennesaw Georgia to not only lie to me about "earning my business" but also telling me that if I make the drive to the dealership to work a deal that they would fill my gas tank if no deal was struck. I was also told that my deal would have to wait until the following monday because Mark Berrio didnt have time to work on it.I guess that since we were the only customers at the dealership for the 2 or 3 hours that we were there that he was too busy doing something besides trying to help us buy a car. I was also told by Richard Warren the next day that they were very interested in making a deal with me and that would have to wait until monday to get it done. Mark Berrio told me that he had to talk to Ford and he had to wait until monday when he was not too busy. Later on Saturday I looked on the website and the Edge we were waiting until monday to buy had been sold. I am totally confused as to why they could sell that vehicle to someone else when they were waiting until monday to sell it to us. If while we were there had they ask for a deposit on the vehicle then we would have gladly put down a security deposit but no one ask us to do that. I cannot believe that with a credit score of 666 and 640 is not good enough to buy a preowned suv. If you are a buying customer looking for a good deal on a new or preowned vehicle then save yourself a lot of time and trouble and stay clear of Jim Tidwell Ford. They once were a good place to do business with but all the good staff has seen the light and moved on. I can assure you all that this customer will never return. One last note. After posting this review on this site the General Manager called me and told me that he would get to the bottom of why we were not given an explaination on friday as to why we would have to wait until monday for an answer on our credit.Mr Hays said that someone from Jim Tidwell would call me first thing monday and let us know the outcome. It was almost 4:30 that afternoon and it was only after I called before I got an answer. No thank you. I will not return......

I really loved the actual car buying experience at Jim Tidwell. My salesman, Maroun, was a very nice man and continues even after the sale to ensure he did his job. I felt like a superstar when I was buying my car and when I looked around I could tell others were getting the very same treatment. I met many people at the dealership and EVERYONE was so sweet. I will buy all my Fords from now on at Jim Tidwell from Maroun. Thanks again Maroun!

I hate the car buying experience. However,it was great at Jim Tidwell. Had a bit of a wait due to us deciding on the car but, other than that it was nice and easy pace.I had gone online the night before. I got a welcoming call the next morning and was directed as to whom to contact when we went to the dealership and was given an appointment. Some one was there and waiting for us. How nice to be give this kind of care. Maroun was great in pointing out the features on the car. Mark in finance was great. Andy was also great. Dealership was clean and inviting for customers. All the sales staff were very pleasant. Overall we had a great experience. Maroun even called us the next day to see if there were any questions. I was in the market for a new car, and went to several dealerships in the area. After a few minutes at Jim Tidwell Ford, I knew I was in the right place. Tim Davis took great care of us. He listened to all of our needs and wants in our new car, and put us in the best possible option at the best price. This was my first car purchase in 10+ years, and Tim made it very easy for me. I was a little nervous about the whole car-buying process and the haggling, but the whole process was very relaxed, and I never felt any pressure to buy. When I made the decision to buy the car, I knew that I was getting just the car I wanted, nothing more, nothing less. I also had a great experience with the finance manager, Scott Middleton. I think he did a great job of walking the thin line between informing me about the extra sales pacakages, and being pushy about them. Again, at no point did I feel the pressure to buy any of the extra packages, but he was very transparent in describing what they covered and what the benefits for me would be. Based on his input I was easily able to decide which packages would benefit me, and which ones I could do without. Without his feedback, I probably would have walked away without some of the extra coverage that I now have, and the peace-of-mind that comes along with it. One last note - I have a soon-to-be 4 year old son, and the child room that they have there was a great distraction for my son. I realize that most dealers have one of these rooms, now, but it's worth noting that my son was sufficiently distracted during the buying process to give us time to work out the details. It's a plus in my book.Overall, I had a great experience there, and I will surely be back for my future purchases!

I was shopping to down size from a fully loaded SUV to a more economical means of transportation.I was looking at the 2011Focus. I arrived at Jim Tidwell I was met by Brandon.He was very professional as I explained what I was looking for. He showed me several cars to choose from, but I couldn't make up my mind.He explained to me that he was new with the dealership and would like for me to meet his supervisor before I left. His supervisor was also very nice and accomodating, seemed like he really wanted to do business with me. He actually showed me a more equipped Focus than I thought I could afford. He really went to work to get what I felt was a good deal. After I got into the credit manager's office, he, too, was very professional and worked hard to get me the best overall deal. I left having my payments where I wanted them to be and with a much nicer car than I thought I could afford. I was very pleased with the team work and professionalism I received. Upon leaving the dealership, I met the general manager who thanked me for becoming a part of the Jim Tidwell family. A very good concept for selling cars. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

I showed up at the dealership late on a Sunday afternoon. Everybody took there time and stayed through the entire sales process. At around 8 after I was seated in my new truck and was ready to go , Maroun still took the time to explain to me the details of how the truck operated. Maroun also assisted me in transferring some items from my old truck to my new truck. Everybody at the dealership was very helpful and cooperative with me. A very pleasant experience.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I visited Jim Tidwell skeptical due to a previous experience at another dealership. However, I was graced with having the pleasure of meeting Mr McKenzie who made the car buying experience pleasurable. He took notice of the characteristics I was looking for in a new truck and did what ever it took to fulfill those wishes. He went well beyond what a typical car salesman would do. It truly was like having a friend in the car sales business. I can truly say with full confidence that I would recommend this dealership and Mike McKenzie to any of my friends and family.

My Sales Consultant was Tim Davis, and Tim provided an excellent customer experience. I dont know how to put it, but I always have to get a warm and fuzzy feeling about the person Im doing business with. I felt that Tim was very professional, courteous and patient. My husband and I purchased a new Ford Fusion at Jim Tidwell Ford this past Saturday and were extremely pleased with the product, price and service we received. We were assisted by salespersons Tim Davis and Ray Flowers who we found to be very helpful without being aggressive. As a matter of fact, when we first arrived at the dealership, we made it clear that we were not committed to making a purchase at this time and both Tim and Ray still spent a good deal of time with us, including taking us on a test drive and explaining the cars safety features, functions and options in detail. They answered all of our questions and made helpful suggestions that eventually allowed us to get the best deal possible. Robby Adams assisted us during the finance process and he was both likeable and professional. The process only took a few hours from start to finish and during the short periods that we were waiting, Ray showed us the service department and made sure that we were comfortable. We did a lot of research prior to making a purchase, including checking Consumer Reports, and visited several other dealerships, both in person and on-line and it was at Jim Tidwell Ford that we felt most comfortable. Everyone we came into contact with was professional and personable; there was a sense of job and product pride as well as personal integrity. Although we have yet to service our new car at Jim Tidwell Ford, we expect to be as completely satisfied with that process as we were with the purchasing process. Based on our experience, we can recommend this dealership without reservation.

This was my 3rd new car and I must say Scott was very knowledgeable when it came to credit questions and everything else. It was soo fast that I bought the car before going to work. I even had time to learn about the tech of my car because of the cool SYNC. Hopefully I'll send some friends there.

We went in to "look". Mark Corcoran met us in the lot. He was not pushy but asked if there was something we were interested in test driving. We told him up front we were doing research, and looking at all auto makers for something to get me out of the "Mom" car... The mode of transportation I had driven for 18 years (with 3 kids). We test drove several options; Mark was very patient and informative to help us with our research. I had a Nissan SUV w/high mileage that I would be trading in. Of course, I had not cleaned it up because I hadn't planned on making a deal that day. They offered me a satisfactory trade-in amount, came up with the price range I was looking for and unexpectedly, that evening I drove out in my new 2011 convertible Mustang. Remember... I had no intentions of buying that day... it just felt right. I've had my Mustang for a week now. No regrets, and the kids LOVE it!I am very pleased with J.TIdwell Ford's customer service. I have been a Ford owner previously and chose to buy ford again in appreciation for Ford's business practices during the past couple of years. in the midst of financial crisis across the country, Ford held strong and I appreciated that.Maroun Farhat was a great salesman experience. I told him him what i was looking for based on my financial needs and he did not try to deviate from what i was looking for. Most sales people are always trying to get you to buy the deal thats best for them, and Maroun made the deal that was best for me. It really helped to ease my nervousness and buying a new car (or slightly used one)Anyone i came in contact with at the Dealership was really open and friendly. It was an overall great experience for a first time buyer and affirmed my faith in Ford business practice. My only possible complaint involves the amount of time it took to buy. I did wait several hours to purchase the vehicle, but that is mostly due to just waiting on the bank.

I must admit I was reluctant to go to a dealer for a new car. Several of my past experiences with dealerships have been less than satisfactory. The folks at Jim Tidwell, on the other hand, are a refreshing change. Both in person and via the Internet, they were thorough, attentive, responsive to questions and interested in my satisfaction, not just making a sale. They have an attention to detail and I could tell from working with Mike and Mark that their concern extends not just to the point of sale, but a continuing relationship after the sale. Ford is making a quality product, and Jim Tidwell presents a quality dealer for that product.

We had specific elements that we were looking for in our new car. When there was not a perfect "match" on the lot, we were able to work out a deal on a car that had the elements we wanted and them some. We felt comfortable with the final price, and appreciated the time and attention we were given while there. Mark in finance made this portion of the experience great as well. No pressure at all. They were very easy to work with. You feel like they really want to sell you a car and make it a great experience. We had originally been given incentive based pricing, looked around a bit, came back to purchase the car at the incentive price, told it was no longer being offered, the original salesman had left, but they decided to honor the original incentive price, as that was the main reason we had returned. You have to admire them for sticking to the original deal, even with the original salesman having left. It's not often you see admire and car dealer in the same sentence.

This review is different from the others because we were not able to get a deal done at Jim Tidwell Ford. The saleman we dealt with was Tim Davis. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the Edge we were interested in. We also dealt with The Finance manager, Rick Palazesi who I think is the best at Finance than anyone I've ever dealt with. He took the time to explain all the details that kept us from closing a deal. We bought a F 150 from Tim Davis a couple of months ago and again with the help from Rick Palazesi got the best deal possible. We will be back in a couple of months to buy the Edge and as long as this dealership has professionals like Tim and Rick we will always think Jim Tidwell Ford first when we are ready to buy. Orignally went in and received some poor service. After I assume the manager contacted me he cleared things up and dealt with the situation in a prompt fashion. When I came back, I was greeted and my situation with my car was taken care of quite nicely.

The shopping experience was GREAT! We negotiated our price over the phone with the sales manager, who emailed up his price. When we came into the dealership, all we had to do was tell Kevin which truck we wanted and show him the email, and it was stress free from there! The only problem we ran in to was that it still took four hours to complete the transaction. Apparently only one finance guy was working, and since it was a beautiful day, they were being slammed with people buying cars (which is good for them!)We definitely recommend this dealer. They have called us several times to double check that we are happy with the truck.

They did not have the car that I wanted as first, however he told me that he would keep looking for me and he would give me a call as soon as he had one come in to the dealership. When we went to Jim Tidwell Ford to "look" at new cars, we had no ideal that everyone would make us feel so welcome. We came to Georgia for the winter, and selected Jim Tidwell Ford for service on our 2008 Ford Taurus. We were greeted warmly by Jim Baskin in the service department. He and the rest of the service personnel made us feel so welcome, we knew that this was to be OUR Ford dealer. All of your employees seem to enjoy their work, because everyone would greet us with a smile. When it came time to trade, there wasnt any question where we would go. We were there getting service when we first met Bill Klein, so when we returned to buy, we asked for him. Bill earned his commission with us. I had done a lot of research online, so had a multitude of questions for him. He answered all, but I think one, which he asked another employee for us. He showed us all the features and options, then took us for a test drive, and that was the icing on the cake. We had him initiate the purchase process with the mountain of paperwork. He stayed right with us until it was time to meet with Mark Barrio for the money end of it. While we were with Mark, he took care of getting our trade-in cleaned out. Mark did a jam-up job of getting us a decent interest rate and a custom protection program. This young man KNOWS his job and is good at it. If we have to do this again, I sincerely hope hes still with you. Jim Tidwell Ford dealership was an excellent place with great employees. My experience was the best from the moment I got out of the car until I was driving off the lot. They were not pushy and showed me everything that I wanted within my limits. I would highly recommend this dealership.

Everyone I talrd with was great and worked with me to get the deal that I was looking for.I have already told other people that I know how good they were to work with and thave told them if they were looking for a good deal they need to go and try them out.The next time I am ready to trade I will go back.

Our experience was great, easy and we got the car I wanted at the price I asked for. Tim was truely wanting to help us and made the process go very smooth. They personalized the experience and have continued to be supportive through our purchase. They explained all the details of the car and what all the technology does. The Sync system was set up and our service account was set up for us, very little to do from our side, it is AWESOME!!! To have a dealership care so much for us was a blessing.

One of the best car buying experiences ever! He was very patient and I never felt pressured, he just listened which is rare in a car salesman these days. I just recommended my company get a quote from them, so now not only do I have a great truck but now my company is very happy too. Tidwell is lucky to have Kevin, hope to buy more from him in the future and will gladly recommend others to go see him!

The people at Jim Tidwell are honest dependable people. It was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend Jim Tidwell for anyone looking for a new or pre owned car or truck. Tim Davis and Scott middleton will treat you right both during and after the sale. This is truly a great place to do business.

While dealing for a new F250 the saleman Mark thought it appropriate to laugh at me while in the middle of a deal, Mark ask me what I was looking for in a price and I mentioned a $10,000.00 incentive that Tidwell was advertising for the Labor Day weekend sale in the AJC. Mark need to be brought up to date on the company advertisments before he hits the floor. I was passed off the Mark when the first salesman had no idea about the F250 specs.

Originally when I went to jim tidwell I was apprehensive because overall I hate the car buying and haggling experience. I walked in and was warmly welcomed. I asked to price out some Rangers and was brought an F-150.. I told him no and that I had owned a ranger before and that is what I was really interested in. He brought up the Ranger and I told him what I needed my payments to look like in order to buy. He haggeled prices with me four times until I told him that I was no longer interested and went to get back into my car. This is when he finally decided to give me my original deal. A month or so into owning the NEW '07 Ranger I noticed a ticking noise comming from undernieth my bed and a squealing noise when I stepped on the gas. I took it in promptly for repair and was told that my muffler had a broken chamber weld in it and needed to be replaced. The part was ordered and I drove a rental from the shop. When I called two days later because I hadn't heard anything I was told that they didn't have anyone to pick my truck up from whatever shop it was sent to but that it was finished. The next evening I picked up my truck and no sooner did I get home, did the the ticking noise start again. I called them and took my truck in again and they said that I would have to drive the truck for 500 miles before the noise would go away! Handn't we just gone through this? so I drove the truck for 500 miles like they said - and just as quick as it turned 500 I took it back. They then decided that they should replace the mufffler again as well as the entire exhaust assembly. The noise continues and I sent them papers that according to "lemon law" have to state that they get one last repair attempt. I take it in...and I am then told that the loud pinging noise comming from undernieth the bed of my truck was a "manufacturer cansistancy" sounds to me, a little like cutting an employees hours so they quit their job instead of getting unemployment. I drove my truck off the lot and called Ford Motor costomer service (yeah right)in which "cindy" told me that I HAD to take my truck to another dealer for a 5th time. I don't think so. I am now filing a complaint for an arbitrary hearing. To get all of the money that I paid for the truck. and to all that are thinking about using Jim Tidwell or Ford Motor Company for any of their "services" or shoddy vehicles be ware. This entire company will jerk you areound if you happen to get one of their brand new, bright yellow, lemons.

This dealer service department is 0-3 with me. My dash cover recall was bungled...took three trips, they ordered the wrong color even though I took the car in for them to see. Another visit to fix a stalling problem resulted in no diagnosis and an $85 bill. After dropping my car off before work, I started calling at noon when I hadn't heard anything. Left messages but no return calls all afternoon. Finally spoke with service manager. When I arrived after work it took an hour to pick up my car. They just don't understand customer service.
